Did I Beg From You An Acceptance?
This is not a version of something before that had existed,
To be lifted from your memory to then quickly dismiss.
Not this!
No.
But you've been convinced of it,
As being just another experience you would rather do without.
Until it's remembered for what it is.
To then do your best to recapture the moment to reminisce.
And not a version of it attempted to compare,
Will never satisfy what was there when it had been given...
To you and no one else.
Trust me!
I know from where it came with my eyes wide open.
It was not from me to leave that easily.
And when rejected...
Did I beg from you an acceptance?
No.
I did not.
I've kept what I've got to increase its appreciation.
To flourish as it was nurtured.
What I've got to spare doesn't have to be shared,
To validate its existence to remain with me welcomed!
Time has taught me what to value.
What to keep and always cherish to polish and not let rust.
It doesn't have to be an 'us' for that to be made known.

What Has Been Denied
One of the main reasons,
People don't know who they are...
Or can respect others to accept,
Is their approach to life.
And a valued place on false pretensions.
People have been made to believe,
And are convinced...
That reality is to be pretended,
And the more pretentious they are...
The more they reflect a 'version' of reality.
Blindly accepted.
And...
Those who are themselves,
And have lived reality...
From an experiencing of it,
Are perceived as being phony.
Although everything they have done...
Is based upon truth as it is,
And have attempted to deliver it.
But are criticized for being nonconformists.
One of the main reasons,
People don't know who they are...
Or can respect others to accept,
Is their approach to life.
One is taught how to live,
And how to act.
What beliefs to accept,
From those created...
And followed 'faithfully'.
And those who live not accepting,
Those beliefs to follow 'faithfully'...
Seem to live freer lives,
Without having lies to follow.
'Why is there so much conflict in the world.
Why are so many people unhappy? '
That's a good question.
And they are the ones who follow,
Taught beliefs.
Without seeking to live life,
To discover it on their own.
They follow and protest yet accept.
'But,
How can you say that? '
I've learned to stand back,
And observe that which has been denied.
My eyes have been open most of my life,
To see things as they are.
Not what I wish them to be.
With eyes open wide.
And apparently my 'version' has offered me,
A more peaceful co-existence.
And that for me is not phony at all.
I only have one face that I've shown.
Have you ever seen me wearing a mask?
To appease others doing it?
'No.'
You should take yours off.
You'll see exactly what I mean.
When you begin to experience life,
So many become offended.

Mix Up, Mix Up
Oh lord, oh lord, oh lord, yeah!
Well, its not easy,
Its not easy
Speak the truth, come on, speak. eh, now!
It ever cause it what it will:
He who hide the wrong he did
Surely did the wrong thing still.
Get in the studio of -
Studio of time and experience
Here we experience the good and bad;
What we have, and what we had -
This session (session),
Not just another version (version).
Oh lord, give me a session (session),
Not another version (version)!
Theyre so much stumbling blocks right in-a our way:
Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday;
Theres so much wanting, so much gaining, so much have done.
Too much little mix-up, in the mix-up, yes!
Too much little mix up!
Too much of this mix up - mix up!
I was born in the country, right on top of the hill
I still remain, I know I still, I will-a,
But through your f...in respect and through your false pride
Someone wanna take jah - jah - jah children for a ride!
Shut up! open the gate, and let the saints through.
Please make it a session (session);
Not another version (version);
Ooh, please make it a session (session);
Not another version (version)!
Hey, you been talkin all your mouth full of lies,
Sitting there toppling and, lord, they criticize.
So through the eyes of the fool the deaf is wise,
And through the eyes of the wise the fool is size.
Saying is too much mix up - mix up!
Saying is too much mix up - mix up!
I wanna clear the wheel once and for all;
I wanna clear my wheels, I dont care who fall!
I gotta clear my wheels once and for all;
Clear my wheels, I dont care who fall - fall:
(too much mix-up - mix-up!)

Hey! mr. music, why dont you wanna play?
Dont you know today is a bright holiday? yeah! (holiday)
Some people waiting for the message that you bring,
They listening to every word that youll sing.
Singing: (too much mix-up - mix-up -
(too much little mix up!)
Would you groove along now
(too much mix up - mix up), yeah!
Yes, would you groove along now
(too much little mix-up!)
They just cant stop you know
(too much mix-up - mix-up)! /fadeout/

Smile
I don't know enough about you
To leave myself wide open
And I don't know when I've had enough
To remove myself from you
Try not to think it out
Try not to act it out
Cut it shut it keep it down
Never let it leave the ground
I gather up what you'll give
But it never helps fill the sieve
Because I don't know enough about you
To leave myself wide open
Try not to think it out
Try not to act it out
Cut it shut it keep it down
Never let it leave the ground
It doesn't matter anyway
When it's all said and gone away
Accumulate experience
Accumulate experience
Time goes by and within it's smile
You think you'd find a way
But it seems so hard to pick apart
It is so far away
It's only what it means
And never what it seems
It's only in the eyes of me
It circles to the end
It lives to upend
That's only when it starts again
Times goes by and within it's smile
You think you'd find a way
But it seems so hard to pick apart
It is so far away
Times goes by
It seems to hide
It is so far away
And all the while
It beams this smile
It is so far away
It is so far

Can't trust him.Cant trust love. Can't trust him when he days hes in love. He doesn't know how to cherish love. He says it but doesn't mean it.Love is just a saying to him, but to you its the world.Don't believe it until you see it. Its nothing but real lies.Hes telling you things you wanna hear, but you cant trust him. He doesn't even relize that hes hurting you.Its all fun and games to him. Do you trust him? Do you trust love? I Was Not Born To Walk Behind Shadows
When I noticed my own shadow,
I needed no one or nothing else...
To validate my existence.
Hours at a time.
Weeks, months and many years,
It would stay behind me.
Even those who attempted to insist,
I should seek their acceptance...
Could not prove why I would want it.
I was not born to walk 'behind' shadows.
My mind was not prepared for this.
It was too obvious I created my own.

Just Because
Just because you did
Doesn't mean that you should
Just because you can
Doesn't mean that you could
Just because you are able
Doesn't mean you would
Just because you sat
Doesn't mean you should‘ve stood.
Just because you spoke
Doesn't mean that you thought
Just because you looked
Doesn't mean that you sought
Just because you argued
Doesn't mean that you fought
Just because you dreamed
Doesn't mean that you wished not.
Just because you cried
Doesn't mean that you wept
Just because you had
Doesn't mean that you kept
Just because you cleaned
Doesn't mean that you swept
Just because you said yes
Doesn't mean that you accept.
Just because you gathered
Doesn't mean that you own
Just because you gave up
Doesn't mean that you were alone
Just because you saw
Doesn't mean that you were shown
Just because you expiate
Doesn't mean you should atone.
Just because your old
Doesn't mean that you have flaws
Just because you won
Doesn't mean you have to applause
Just because you waited
Doesn't mean that you paused
Just because you were you
Doesn't mean anything, because.

All That Is Regarded Foolishness
With experiences lived.
And an aging process accepted,
One realizes upon reflection...
How much easier it is to judge.
Than it is to self-examine.
Not many are fortunate to survive,
Through life threatening diseases.
To then step aside with their eyes open wide,
With a freeing of themselves from insecurities left...
Hidden deep inside to confront and rid.
With experiences lived.
And an aging process accepted,
One realizes upon reflection...
How much easier it is to judge.
Than it is to self-examine.
But when that moment in time comes,
An accepting of one's flaws and blemishes are done.
With a leaving behind trivial nonsense.
And all that is regarded as foolishness,
Becomes less tolerated to quickly dismiss.
Yesterday and those mistakes made,
And all that is regarded as foolishness...
Becomes less tolerated to quickly dismiss.
Wishing for excuses and alibis to create,
Becomes less tolerated to quickly dismiss.
And all that is regarded as foolishness disappears.

One Person.
As life goes on you experience many different hardships,
and you start to open your eyes to what really matters.
if someone doesn't appreciate you, then screw them.
if someone doesn't respect you, then don't respect them.
if someone doesn't love you, show them what they're missing.
and more of all if someone doesn't see you for the amazing person you are, then don't stress over it, because they're only one person.

Qualify Yourself
A door doesn't have to appear,
For one to knock and realize an opportunity...
Could be near.
It could be closer than that by making your own door.
Create your own opportunities.
You then can decide to knock, block, lock it...
And keep it close if you wish!
However...
Once one has done this,
And awaken to their own power...
The only one that can stop a mind,
Defining 'who' one is and 'what' they are...
Is the one whose eyes have been opened.
So wide open with a wisdom they do become.
And rare is the one that blinks,
When that happens.
There is too much to be done.
Unlike some who first seek to become qualified...
Approved and accepted.
Interviewed to then be rejected.
Feeling affects of being dejected...
With suspicion aiding tensions.
Overdressed 'and' seething from heat.
With a degree...
Or maybe two!
What kind of nonsense is that?
The burdens one can place on a back,
Feeling out of place!
A door doesn't have to appear,
For one to knock and realize an opportunity...
Could be near.
Qualify yourself!
And become that much more observant,
Of opportunities you have created!
Instead of waiting to turn a knob on a door...
To discover everyone,
Has long been 'out-to-lunch'.
Make your own opportunities exist.
And prepare the kind of sanwich you wish.
Knowing you may have to save half of it,
For later.
But...
It is yours!
You made it without question.
There may be some answers needed.
And experience will take you where they are!
To satisfy or not.
It is the process that enlightens.
Not the lettuce or the mayonnaise you forgot!
AND...
If that is all that is on your mind,
When 'that' time comes?
Dine out!
You can well afford it!

Determination
Digging deep.
A complete excavation,
To make a clean sweep.
No explanations needed,
Of this thoroughness...
To one day reminisce.
A detemination comes,
With changes welcomed.
To rid what had existed!
Until a satisfaction lifts.
Like rust from unpolished joy.
Discovered and employed...
With full benefits.

Sweet, Suite, Suit my tongue
wake me up in my deep slumber, bath my humiliation
of fancy illusion i compare, just as the beginning of my
youth my heart desire, leaving the ultimate passion
what i have today
the moment of today has come that last forever and
as the night comes to pass, seeing the happiness i wonder
is not but a lay of infinite vacuum of what i felt; the time
i know my heart lives in your memory of existence past,
the submission of my being powerless in your alluring
beauty
standing looks the same, looking back seems a
reflection of time, reaping and catch the harvest of
what makes it different, seeing you only in dream, and
now that i have you, leaving each edges of the moment
of time, i almost drown my emotion whispering the
goodbye of my breath
as today, trust my wishful memory, hug my lingering
joy of full enthusiasm and let, the oracle of the past live
in each experience of trust that leads you and bring your
everlasting love, shooting where the arrows go in the
heart that refresh my soul to you my sweet, suite, suit
lady of my time
you come and never leave..... my heart thirst your beauty

Eyes Wide Open
Here it comes, here comes another day
Another decision on the way
Well here it comes, here comes a covered display
of preferences to make
Well here it comes, here comes a knock on the door
Open it for an opportunity
Well here it comes, here comes another day
for memories to be made
Eyes wide open
Eyes wide open all the time
'n there it was, it was a perfect take
and were you asleep or awake
There it was, it was a perfect time
to speak your mind
'n there it was, it was a chance of a lifetime
It flew right by and what did you do?
Well there it was, it was another day
for memories to be made
Eyes wide open
Eyes wide open all the time
I've got my eyes wide open
Eyes wide open all the time
Because you never know
what you might see...

Until They Research What They Hear
It doesn't matter to me,
What you now know...
And what you found out.
Am I to be impressed,
By your acknowledgement?
And the way you'd like that addressed?
Or the fact that your discovery,
Exposes your absence of respect...
We both know was never shown to me.
Are you expecting 'me' to change?
I am always going to think of you,
The way I've been thinking of you.
'How is that? '
Less!
Someone I've already identified,
As a pest to the human race.
But don't worry about it.
I keep things like that to myself.
That's why I am quite surprised,
That you would know anything about me at all.
Since the rumors I heard,
Had me quite appalled.
And the things you said I did with my mother?
Were never done.
Afterall...
Those comments you made about me,
And with others who were convinced they were true?
I've known of them myself for many years.
And I would never have an appreciation for you.
My sights are not on lowlife.
Well...
Congratulations on your discovery.
I hope we were able to share something...
That opened both of our eyes!
'There is nothing like hearing the truth,
Is there? '
Nothing like it.
But some folks don't realize that...
Until they research what they hear!
And then it takes time,
To put two and two together.
Doesn't it?
Enjoy your day!
Since you have no idea,
How much you have made mine.
And I thank you for that!

For Those Who Are Gifted
These gifts to me have not been given,
To let sit and observe their rust.
But to constantly polish and share their lustre.
And I perceive this mission as a must.
For those who are gifted,
With talents they let drift away.
Seem too quick to earn a dollar from them...
Only to quit to say,
The worth of their gifts...
Did not return to them any profit!
These gifts to me have not been given,
To let sit and observe their rust.
But to constantly polish and share their lustre.
And I perceive this mission as a must.
One blessed by God...
Should first serve His purpose.
With a gratefulness to prove,
A decision God has made...
Was done to shine forth a light!
To move where He chooses,
Whether day or night.
Not to smother in unthankfulness.
To offer God one's attititude.
Why do people do this?
Take for granted what God does...
Then choose to dismiss it?
To satify egos others should solicit.
To flaunt and cherish,
As if one merits the attention.
To take and celebrate...
Without a word of God to mention!

How Many Times Have You Told Me That?
You have your version!
And I have mine.
One of us got hit by conclusions,
For purposes to comprehend.
The other...
Wishes to be correct!
And lays up in traction,
From toe to neck.
Hoping a mending of fractures,
Is successful.
With a wish for an embarrassment,
Not to be made this public.
And I will say this,
About your version of the 'incident'.
And your need to have it accepted.
From a point of view you wish respected.
You need no longer to protect it.
Since it is obvious who between us,
Has been more affected.
So I will leave you to get some needed rest.
With any version that conflicts,
With the one that I witnessed.
And your attempts not to be involved in it...
Will be a matter between you,
And your deluded consciousness.
Do you see me?
'Of course I see you! '
Which one of us seems to be traction free?
And which one of us 'seems' to be...
Stubbornly on the defensive?
'You just 'think' you are right ALL the time! '
You have your version!
And I have mine.

It Really Doesn't Matter
You say your ugly, i say it doesn't matter.
You say you have a dark past,
i say it doesn't matter.
You say theirs overwhelming responsibility,
i say it doesn't matter.
I don't believe in walking away when things get hard.
In fact they are my spark to continue my march.
Through thick and thin where to begin.
You say you don't have a way.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say that you cant give back what you would like.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say, you say oh it really doesn't matter,
I live one day at a time.
Choices will be made that will save the day
but hurt me financially.
It doesn't matter Choice will be made
that will set me back in my expectations.
It doesn't matter,
It really doesn't matter.
Its well worth it.
To see the beauty that
you have placed before me.
Oh how its worth it.
To settle down and not be looking to be found.

The Joys Of Thanksgiving
This day in November,
Special and remembered...
By many who are grateful to celebrate,
The joys of Thanksgiving.
With preparations made to express,
An appreciation.
In prayer and with faith to commensurate,
A gathering with family members and friends...
On this occasion,
To eat and feast upon past memories shared.
As an awareness of those many blessings given...
Seem to us to have more of a meaning as we reflect.
When the experience of witnessing...
Many moons and seasons come to pass,
To allow us yet another chance to embrace and grasp...
The importance of each other's presence.
And our fortunate lives we can so easily take for granted.
