Decay to Rust, Dust And Fade
I am not here to compete with dead poets.
Or those with pseudo ambitions,
To foster claims this is what they do.
My depictions are alive,
To represent times lived today.
I wear no mask to imitate,
Those from a past who have passed away.
This is two thousand and twelve!
Not the seventeen hundreds.
Although there are many,
Wishing these times to return.
The landscape today,
Has more censors and critics...
Desiring the past for them will stay.
But even today will decay to rust, dust and fade.

At Last
I cant tell you bout the future
I wouldnt even swear about the past
One thing I know for certain
Thats when your heart stops hurting
Falling in love, caught up with me at last
Always knew it would, never had it so good

Diary of a Nine Day Poet
Today (Day 1) I writed stuff I thort was pritty neet
I wanna do this poet shit, so that I can complete
Today (Day 2) I wroted tings I thawt was really neat

Im the guard. at one time
This was rather pleasant
The poets they still had to muse
Over the classicism of clean shoes
But who today still knows a button stick

I see today
Today is such a beautiful day
Well actually it’s hot and humid
But hey it here right now for me to enjoy or crib

Today has been a day
for rolling back the roads
I have travelled down before.
Seeing the faces again
locked away in my memory store.

Today you're life begins all over again

Time
Who knows about the future? Who knows what we'll find?
What good and bad things are in store by chance or design?
What can be done today to alter the future's course?
If truth be known you alone rule effects of its force.
Today at work or play only the present exists.
A wise world has no room for a past-present-future tryst.
Each future hour, joyful or dour, will never arrive.
The future will be the future as long as you're alive
The past is gone forever never to steal today's times,
