Credentials Hand Picked
At this point,
It doesn't matter...
Who gets selected to sit,
On a tainted throne.
Tarnished by an absence,
Of a doing what is right...
With a wholesome righteousness.
Even though the premise of this,
Still within some who have sustained 'hope'...
With a gluing of correctness in their minds still sticks.
What prestige is there left,
That challenges anyone to be more respecting?
And those behind the scenes pulling the strings,
Are only qualified for the job...
Because they can afford to be.
Their pockets runneth over with the bucks.
So what does it matter,
Who does the quacking as sitting ducks?
At this point,
What is obvious is this...
Those with any integrity AND intelligence,
Are not the ones to be accused...
Of destructing lives to muck them up!
No matter how exquisite a presentation is done,
By those dignified to be televised...
With credentials hand picked to solicit an interest.
Liberty. Freedom. AND self expression?
Sounds good.
Even thrilling.
The thought of it gives me goose bumps and chills.
However,
I am not into frills and things that sparkle.
I'm not into 'bling'.
How about some food, shelter...
And some pocket change I can keep,
For at least long enough to identify it as mine.
That will be fine.
And, IF, you will be so kind...
I'll take that delivery,
Basic!

The Bling Side
They want to see,
That bling side for them to begin.
With a start for them that has no end.
And hoping their lives,
Will sparkle bright.
With a sheen seen...
From outer space at night.
They hope that bling side to blister and glow.
From angles that exposes,
Their studded gold teeth glimmering...
In a bold gold that shows.
That want that bling side to begin...
With goose bumps too,
That never end.
With expensive sneakers costng fortunes.
To brag likes fools...
Like selfish spoiled children do!
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
That want that bling side to begin...
With goose bumps too.
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
And killing any sense that may be left within them.
They want to see,
That bling side for them to begin.
With a start for them that has no end.
And hoping their lives,
Will sparkle bright.
With a sheen seen...
From outer space at night.
They want that bling side to begin...
With goose bumps too.
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
And killing any sense that may be left within them.
To live,
Or not to have...
A future.
One that has firm roots.
And not be foolish losers.
To live,
Or not to have...
A future.
One that has firm roots.
And not be foolish losers.
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
To be just foolish losers.
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
To be just foolish losers.
The bling side,
To live!
The bling side,
To live!
The bling side,
To live!
To be just foolish losers.

It Really Doesn't Matter
You say your ugly, i say it doesn't matter.
You say you have a dark past,
i say it doesn't matter.
You say theirs overwhelming responsibility,
i say it doesn't matter.
I don't believe in walking away when things get hard.
In fact they are my spark to continue my march.
Through thick and thin where to begin.
You say you don't have a way.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say that you cant give back what you would like.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say, you say oh it really doesn't matter,
I live one day at a time.
Choices will be made that will save the day
but hurt me financially.
It doesn't matter Choice will be made
that will set me back in my expectations.
It doesn't matter,
It really doesn't matter.
Its well worth it.
To see the beauty that
you have placed before me.
Oh how its worth it.
To settle down and not be looking to be found.

In My Mind! All This Time
Your per-son-ality...
Was not just picked from any litter.
Your dig-ni-ty...
Is of the best I've ever seen.
You are so far from routine,
And it gets so hard to leave...
The matter of affection I feel.
That matter of affection felt.
Your Per,
Son...
Ality!
Was not just picked from any litter.
And your,
Dig...
Ni,
Ty! ?
Is of the best I've ever seen.
Your personality...
Is wha'ts delivered.
From a giver of love and liberty!
Your per-son-ality...
Was not just picked from any litter.
Your dig-ni-ty...
Is of the best I've ever seen.
Your per-son-ality...
Was not just picked from any litter.
Your per-son-ality...
Was selected to give as a gift!
That per-son-ality...
Was not just picked from any litter.
Your per-son-ality...
Is the kind to stay in one's mind!
And you have remained,
In my mind!
All this time!
Because...
The matter of affection I feel.
And,
That matter of affection felt.
And you have remained,
In my mind!
Because...
The matter of affection I feel.
And,
That matter of affection felt.
And you have remained,
In my mind!
All this time.
Because...
The matter of affection I feel.
And,
That matter of affection felt.

No Matter How Handsome and Tall
No matter how Handsome and Tall -
No matter how more Beautiful than all-
No matter how Great-
No matter how Courageous and Strong -
No matter how Loving and Kind-
No matter how Good as Good can be-
No matter how much of All and Everything,
In every way and form
No matter who one is
And what one is
And how much they give
And how life is made better or more beautiful by them-
No matter how Big or how Small
Each one of us
In the end,
In one real sense,
Nothing at all.

I have been frequently accused of deliberately twisting subject matter to my point of view. Above all, I know that life for a photographer cannot be a matter of indifference. Opinion often consists of a kind of criticism. But criticism can come out of love.

Do You Believe
Do you believe in freedom
Do you believe in peace around the world
We all need a better place on earth
Where it's really worth, to live our life
Do you believe in freedom
It doesn't matter where you're born what kind of race
As long as you believe in freedom there's a place
It doesn't matter if your dream will come alive
As long as there is human love you will survive
We are praying for a world without pain and disease
So tell me what you really believe
How can we learn, to return to good sense
It doesn't help to sit on the fence
Intense is the willing to fight
Confusion goes on, what's wrong what's right
It might be alright what we see on tv
Are we blind, like in history
Emergency, we're losing reality
Weapons for freedom - how can we agree

You Matter To Me
Look up, the sky is crying
Endless tears
Feels like my whole worlds dying
It hurts when youre not here
cause you matter to me and thats why
You still matter to me
And thats the only reason I need, to get by
You still matter to me, yes you do
I aint no good at talkin
So girl Im tellin you straight
My heart feels just like an orphan
I hope Im not too late
cause you matter to me and thats why (and thats why)
You still matter to me
And thats the only reason I need, to get by
You still matter to me, yes you do
If I could have just one wish
Id stand you in my place
Then youd know how much I miss you
Youll never be replaced
cause you matter to me and thats why (and thats why)
You still matter to me
And thats the only reason I need, to get by
You still matter to me, yes you do
You still matter to me
And thats the only reason I need, to get by
You still matter to me, yes you do
cause you matter to me, yes you do
And thats the only reason I need, to get by (get by)
cause you matter to me, aint no lie
And thats the only reason I need, to get by (get by)
cause you matter to me, yes you do
And thats the only reason I need, aint no lie

And Furthermore...
If those chosen who have obtained,
Untouchable status...
And there are many who are self ordained,
Began to scrutinize and fire from positions...
The ones hand picked and selected,
To represent their standards valued.
There would be few people left if any at all,
Impressive enough to still maintain,
A wholesome pretentiousness that is a must.
To keep intact their annointed declarations.
Without...
A casting about a tainting of false images.
Images expected to reflect the 'ideal'.
But not the reality that a self righteous...
Holier-than-thou presentation sustains,
That many have grown to imitate with the best of hypocrisy.
AND..
Are the causes for the uprising of threats,
Used to confuse the minds of those already proving...
To rebel against this process invented and documented,
Around the world.
Those few who are dissenting from such correctness,
Just do not get it!
And should be removed from their seats of assumed power,
To be publicly denounced as mentally and physically...
Unable to perform their tasks with the utmost intended integrity.
And furthermore...
To show that they are not capable to do this,
Is an abomination to all who are appalled by such behavior.
As evident by those who can no longer contain their disgust.
'I have to think about the use of 'And furthermore...'
It sounds too,
Proclamationish.
However...
I do like the formality it generates..
But I do think you should read this 'after' and not 'before',
Dinner is served.
How do the others feel about it? '

It Doesn't Matter
Hey, how's your conscience lately
You tried so hard to please me
And now you seem so uneasy
You say that you've enough and you're out of love
It hit me like a hurricane
It hit me like a speeding train
I try to climb a mountain range
And fall down on the ground again
I thought that it would be OK
But you had other cards to play
Just like a shot from a gun
I got hurt, I got stunned
That's how it hit me
I just want to know why
Do you do this to me?
And where, is your sense of reason?
So how, could you fool me so long?
And now, watch my tenderness turn to emptiness
It hit me like a hurricane...
It doesn't matter what I do
It doesn't matter much to you
It doesn't matter what I do
It's over now, we're through
You got me feeling excited
You gad me set and ignited
But now I'm feeling so down low
Like some down-trodden hobo
It doesn't matter...
You gad me chasing illusions
You got me lost in confusion
And I'm so tired of losin'
I've got to stop, now, and not get involved with you
again
It doesn't matter...

Mad For You
Say say say say,
Do do do do,
Way way way way,
Ooh ooh ooh. [x2]
Everybodys been against us from the start,
Thinkin man youve lost your mind,
Sayin that girls not your typebut theyre all blind.
But I bet they never felt half the way I do,
Never had a man half as good as you,
My baby.
[chorus:]
So they can say what they wanna say,
Do what they want to do,
It dont matter anyway, theres nothing they can prove,
To change how I feel about you,
So they can see what they wanna see,
And say what they want to me,
But I know that I believe in my point of view,
That Im all mad for you.
Everybody tries to tell me youre no good,
And that boy you dont deserve a girl like me but I disagree,
And its not their concern.
No they never had a love like you and i,
Call it jealousy playin with their minds,
My baby.
[chorus]
Everybody, will have to get used to us being together,
Cos thats how were gonna stay.
Our love will last forever (and ever),
Forever always.
Say say say say,
Do do do do,
Way way way way,
So they can say what they wanna say,
Do what they want to do,
It dont matter anyway, theres nothing they can prove.
So they can say what they wanna say,
And say what they want to me,
But I know that I believe in my point of view. [x2]
So they can say what they wanna say,
Do what they wanna do. [x2]
It dont matter anyway.
So they can say what they wanna say,
Say what they wanna be.
Follow what I believe. [x2]
So they can say what they wanna say,
Do what they wanna do. [x2]
It dont matter anyway.
So they can say what they wanna say,
Say what they wanna be,
Follow what I believe. [x2]
So they can say what they wanna say.

It Doesn't Matter What One Does
It doesn't matter what one does,
To prove an intelligent effectiveness.
If an image best marketed,
Is the having of 'bling' and shiny things...
To dangle in front of those most impressed.
With a getting of attention that is addressed.
Regardless...
How disconnected minds are from the rest,
The ones who are adorned...
With sparkling attachments worn,
Will be guaranteed to influence and awe.
No matter if they can speak,
In completed sentences to be understood.

What Does It Matter
Baby, why do they say the things they say
Would it be easier to live the way they say we should
Maybe, cannot but wonder back this way
Yours are the only arms that make me feel like something can be good
I believe its just a fact of life
Unless they wear our shoes to them its black and white
Ooohhhh
Just what does it matter anyway
What side of the road were standing on
And just what does it matter anyway
If in the long run nothing changes after we are gone
If nothing changes after we are gone
Baby, dont let them rob you of your pride
Theres not a thing I wouldnt do to make this easier for you
Maybe, every now and then I laugh and cry
Its getting harder now for me to separate the two
Where does innocence turn in to make believe
Cause make believe theres no one here but me and you
Ohhh
Just what does it matter anyway
What side of the road were standing on
And just what does it matter anyway
If you throw my love away because the world dont think its right
And they may never understand
And you cant change the minds of those who are blind
Unless you give them sight
And the world lies in your hand
Tell me, and just what does it matter anyway
If in the long run nothing changes after we are gone
If nothing changes after we are gone

It Doesnt Really Matter
It doesnt really matter that I loved you
How many reasons call
It doesnt really matter at all
It doesnt matter that I failed to
Break down your fathers wall
It doesnt matter at all
Why tell me you dont understand when you do
I thought I had something to say
But it really doesnt matter at all...
I changed my name
To be rid of the things that I want from you
Its strange
But a name is a name and the truth is the truth
Oh, there is always
Always someone to remind me
So I learn to live with shame
Tell myself I feel no pain
But I do
And if I have to tell you
Then it really doesnt matter at all...
And its no good looking back
Because times a thief and I believe that
Im too old for that
Were just saying the things that weve said
Forever
It doesnt really matter that I loved you
How many seasons fall
Its too bad
It really doesnt matter at all

How Am I Qualified?
How am I qualified?
I would not be selected,
To be in your presence!
What experience do I have?
Has anything you verified,
Been connected or tied to corruption?
My life is based on 'fact'...
Not on created lies!
I am here to replace a mess,
I did not create.
I am here to achieve...
Not sit around and fake!
What did I like about my last position?
Leaving it in a better condition.
What did I dislike and why?
Being surrounded by incompetence.
And being around people who made no sense...
And got paid.
Proving I can correct mistakes,
Others had made.
Being taken for granted.
And having my point of view slanted.
Having my character slandered and despised.
Seeing people backstab and creating viscious alibis.
Gossipying and not doing tasks assigned.
Dining on the clock and whining all the time!
Why should you hire me?
That's a decision you must make.
But if you take a look out of your window...
And leave those pretensions you have behind.
You will discover there are very few left...
Who are 'not' completely out of their minds.
You are not going to find anyone like me...
For that fee to continue to swallow your BS,
And smother your crimes!
Let's get real here.
If you don't hire me...
Who else will you get?
To protect what's left of a quality of life,
You did your best to keep away from me.
Now that infestation has defected your reality.
And for years I've been getting you to hear and see...
Without me you will never do things right!
That's why you have few peaceful nights.
How am I qualified?
I've stood by and watched you,
Defy your own ignorance,
To spite everything I am.
Including my intelligence.
If you don't hire me and my honesty...
You will never climb out of the hole,
That swallows you as it grows.
How am I qualified?
I would not be selected,
To be in your presence!
With a mind still clear...
That is competent and bold!
And that clearly has not happened here!
I do not fear success or working at my best.
I may be more than qualified.
Judging from the surprised look you have in your eyes.
I would call what I have 'integrity'.
And if you don't hire me...
It will be the last of it you see!
And I hope you wont gamble with this opportunity.
Especially at these prices you offer and wish to pay!
Consider this deal a steal!

Ramblings At 11 A.m.
what humiliates us is us.
it is the thought that we are humiliated that
humiliates us, not them, who
are but perspectives, minds that we have no
power to fathom, eyes that look where they want to,
it is a matter of decision actually
to be humiliated or not
in the same manner what give us dignity is us.
what we think is what we are
and we are dignified for as long as we think ourselves to be
the manifestations matter, we agree, but these are perspectives
still that matter not to them
who are preoccupied with the art of living
and the eventual and slow
deaths that everyday enters upon us.
everything are mental constructs
to keep our pieces intact we grope and always collect
and think that we are whole again and again
like a chant, a whisper
winding to our ears
do not be too sensitive
no one can kill

Right Behind You (Mafia)
You you you you you)
You haven't seen the world outside for days.
You sleep,
You hope,
You wait.
Imagination disappears and all the dreams you have,
You save.
Confrontation like a mirror they try to take your mind away.
(Hey hey)
I don't know, but I believe in yesterday
And what it means to bleed
And know that you're okay.
(Are you waiting?)
No matter what you say,
No matter what you do,
No matter what I'm always right there behind you.
No matter what you say,
No matter what you do,
No matter what I'm always right there behind you.
(You you you you you)
Bombarded by the atmosphere
You breathe,
You choke,
You breathe, again.
Conversation disappears,
You realize they're not your friends.
The panic of the future rears.
You dig,
You jerk,
You find another way.
(Hey hey)
I don't know, but I believe in yesterday
And what it means to bleed
And know that you're okay.
(Are you waiting?)
No matter what you say,
No matter what you do,
No matter what I'm always right there behind you.
No matter what you say,
No matter what you do,
No matter what I'm always right there behind you.
You opened up my face,
No I dont feel the same. (no no no)
You opened up my brain,
But I wont be with haste. (no no no)
(X4)
No matter what you say,
No matter what you do,
No matter what I'm always right there behind you

It Does Not Matter #2
it does not matter- if you're getting old
it does not matter- if you're skin and bones
it does not matter-if you're old and gray
it does not matter-if you go or stay
it does not matter- what people say
it does not matter-living day to day
the only thing that matters, is that
you're alive today
and you'll fight whatever comes your way.
never give up on yourself
for you have no one else.
age is with us to contend
age is something that is not your friend.
it does not matter- if you had a good life
it does not matter- if you're contrite.
no one really knows the true life you've led
and if you deserve to be in a bed.
and if death is at your bedside
in' GOD' you must confide.
HE is the only one that knows what
you've been through.
so confession is what you have to do.
but! it does not matter
if you confess or not
for he has your graveplot.
so ask forgiveness for what you've done
to' GODS' only son.

At A Loss For Words
Some time had passed since a verse had come to mind
a mental blockage I have had, nothing seemed to rhyme.
No words of creation the supply had gone
no thoughts, or imagination, nothing, not a one.
The source had stopped for some strange reason,
as though there was a break in the poetry season.
I tried and I tried, but nothing would come together,
not even with a change in the weather.
In the early hours I woke up and had to pick up a pen,
for some strange reason I began writing again.
It is quite odd and I’ll never get to know
why periods of poetry come and go.
But I’m thankful when words and lines come to me
it is as though they are sent telepathically.
It doesn’t matter if the poem is incorrect or good
or if it’s taken as silly, or is misunderstood.
As long as it relays that moment’s thought
an instinctive message that cannot be taught.
To me it doesn’t matter if its only two lines long,
or whether it has many verses, or even sounds wrong.
When thoughts of words or sentences come to mind
I have to write them down no matter the place or time.
If I don’t record the thought on paper right away
they become lost forever in the space of night and day.

Freedom Song
Let me tell you the hard luck story
About a man named jack mcduff
He believed in God and glory
But he just wasnt tough enough
I believe in the freedom song
Long live liberty!
I believe in the freedom song
Ill choose my own destiny
Well they took him and they beat him
Underneath the old hanging tree
Saying, jack, you must die
What will your last words be?
Jack, he hung his head back
Long live liberty!
I believe in the freedom song
Doesnt matter what you do to me
With a rope around his neck they left him hanging
High on that old hanging tree
On her knees his wife was screaming
Lord have mercy, lord have mercy
I believe in the freedom song
Long live liberty!
I believe in the freedom song
Doesnt matter what you do to me

Colours
Deep inside the border
Children are crying
Fighting for food
Holding their heads
Breaking their bread with a stone
All along the roadside
People are standing
Watching the sun
Shielding their eyes
Brushing the flies from their face
Tell me, what can you say
Tell me, who do you blame
Like a mirror you see yourself
These people each have a name
All around the township
Young men are dying
(of) hunger and thirst
The well has run dry
The tears from her eye feeds her son
Tell me...
You can say youre pulling back
We see the pictures everywhere
But what we dont see is whats
Going on behind the closed doors
And you dont seem to care
Do you expect me to believe you
How can you really think
You can take your horse down to the water
Hold a gun at his head
And make him drink
No matter what you say, it never gets any better
No matter what you do, we never see any change
People living without rights
Without their dignity
How loud does one man have to shout
To earn his right to be free
You can keep your toy soldiers
To segregate the black and white
But when the dust settles
And the blood stops running
How do you sleep at night?
No matter what you say...
What makes you so high and mighty
What makes you so qualified
You can sit there and say
How many have their freedom
But how many more have died
You decide to sit in judgement
Trying to play God yourself
Someday soon the buck is gonna stop
Stop with you and noone else
No matter...
