Chances
Some chances are risky!
Some taken have no reward.
Chances risky and unrewarded...
Must be taken.
Taking a chance and failing
Still gains an experience.
Promising to take a chance...
And breaking that promise,
Will always be remembered.
That's why it is best not to take chances,
If you are the kind to break a promise!
Adventures will never find you pleased,
Or at ease...
Whatever the outcome!

Summer Chance
The chances of summer are of chance,
When you take a chance,
Chances will bring,
The good,
The bad,
The indifference,
The outcome,
For taking a chance,
Is what is left,
Then is left to per chance,
Yet,
Summer time,
Brings all kinds of chances,
Summer romances,
Summer time ventures,
All in all it is a time,
For taking the time,
To just relax,
And simply just,
Let things happen,
Oh what it would be,
If, we all took a chance,
On love for love sake,
Leaving to per chance?
So summer songs,
Would ring with chimes,
When summer's love,
Would then last all year long,
What too could happen,
If,
We all took that chance,
Just to see,
What would happen,
To simply be,
A wild card,
Let loose,
To take a wild chance,
And let per chance,
Take its course,
In summer chances,
Of summer romances,
For to let a pattern to evolve,
That brings about that summer outcome,
Of a summer in per chance,
That has,
No arrangements,
Appointments set,
An agenda to be met,
Or,
A poise or position in life,
That one must be of,
Or,
Have to make that grade,
For summer chance,
And taking that chance,
Will bring you to a better place,
A fresh begining,
Or,
New places and people,
Or a summer's love,
To last all year long,
Is,
To believe in,
Per chance,
Of Summer's chance,
That then begins,
A short story of life,
That leads to the book,
Of two people in love,
From what took a chance,
With a summer romance,
That lead to their book,
A book of life,
From summer chance,
Of meeting per chance?

Chances
(graham russell)
Theres a chance you will be there
Id like to know the truth
Ill find it out somehow
The chances arent too strong
A chance you will be there
Please be there alone
Help me speak of love
Chances arent enough
Ones too good to miss
Chances arent too strong
A chance is all there is
Theres a chance you will be there
Wondring what to do
How to play my role
Ill leave it up to you
If I disguise my smile
It gives too much away
And what if we cant speak
What then shall I say
Dont you be too long
Something has gone wrong
The chances are all gone

Hows Chances?
When I want to see the boys
I know where to find the boys
I dont go through a club or two
I just find you and there are the boys
To get you alone I strive
You ask me to tea at five
I find you then with other men
And wonder when my chance will arrive
Hows chances, say, how are the chances
Of making you love me the way I love you
How many young men must I fight with
To be in right with
In right with you
Hows chances for one of those glances
A glimpse of the heaven Im longing to see
Hows chances to end all your romances
And start taking your chances with me
[alternate bridge:]
My castle will need some restoring
Ceiling and flooring
Furniture, too

Second Chances
Every time we do something wrong,
we wish we could have a second chance,
to try to make it right.
In most cases a second chance won’t do,
because what is done is unrepairable.
In love, we can cry all night,
for breaking someone’s heart,
but tears in the pillow will not undo,
the hurting that they do,
and there are no second chances there.
The old saying of look before you leap,
is a good rule to follow,
because in your life,
you do not get second chances,
to undo the hurt that you do.

Chances Are
Chances are if we'd meet again,
You won't know who I am,
Though you might remember the smile
Or you might recall the walk,
But chances are, you will not.
And if we did meet on the road again,
Would you smile and call my name
Or would you forget who I was,
Because now, we are not the same.
Chances are, you would walk away,
And you would forget what you saw
Even though you knew me then,
But now my face, you couldn't recall.
And if we were in trouble in the sea of life,
Would you be there to toss me a line
I know I'd be there if but for you,
But alas, that was a different time.
And chances are, if we were alone
You would then smile and talk to me,
You would be my friend, and remember again,
But chances are; that will never be.
Chances are, that I will never change
And that I will stay the way I am,
And you will stay the way, that you must be,
But I don't care, in this world of man.
I will act the way that I want to act
And I will do the things that I must do,
And I am not ashamed of anything or anyone,
But chances are, the hypocrite is you.
And as life is full of chances of her own,
She has her own steps and stairs,
And could I see you on your way down,
Chances are, I will be there.

Born In Original Sin Sentence
didn't want to miss a chance schemes
old never let any chance go by themes
but some policy chances prove risky
was Adam angry first with Eve
who then put blame on sneaky snake
Eve was deceived so blame Adam
it was man Adam who deliberately sinned
Adam knew what he was choice dice doing
not like poor Eve who was conned deceived
neither took responsibility for their actions
if they had face copped up perhaps we would
have escaped born in original sin sentence?

Outlaw
(coverdale/lord/marsden)
When I left my home
I was not much more than a child,
My mother started crying
She knew that I was born to be wild
cos I was looking for the bright lights of the big city,
A red hot town where the girls are pretty
I took to the highway,
Chasing my dream down the line
Heading out for trouble,
Never finding my peace of mind
cos I been run out of town so many times before
An usually kind of places where I cant go back no more
Outlaw - born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
I never find it easy trying to keep the feeling alive,
Ive always been a dreamer,
Dreamers find it hard to survive
When theyre living in the bright lights of the big city,
A red hot town where the girls are pretty
Outlaw - born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
Outlaw - born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
Outlaw - born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
Born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
Outlaw, outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun

All That Really Matters
See the headlines
Have you heard the news
They're tryin' to turn the world upside down
We sit and watch it on TV
Programmed prophets trying to bring us down
Give us a break now
We know it can't all be bad news
Let's get away now
Cause when I'm holding on to you
We're all, we're all that really matters
The time is now
For taking our own chances
We're all, all that really matters
More brain power
Just to keep alive
Some computer trying to shut you down
The world powers watchin' the way you live
On a mission pushing us around
Give us a break now
No way we're gonna lose
We'll find a way now
Cause when I'm making love to you
We're all, we're all that really matters
The time is now
For taking our own chances
We're all, all that really matters
I wanna love you
I'm gonna try to make it right
Nothing can touch you
We'll make a dream come true tonight
We're all, we're all that really matters
The time is now
For taking our own chances
We're all, all that really matters
We're all, we're all that really matters
We're all, all that really matters

Second Chance
Sometimes you never get a second chance
at anything you do.
If one day you do, embrace it
and never let it slip through your fingers
or it will never come to you again.
Now this is my story of the two second chances that I got
and how I embraced them without regret.
The story begins half a century ago when I was a teenager.
I was a very shy boy
and my friends were very few,
especially where the girls were concerned.
No friendships grew there
and all too soon they were gone
without me ever saying a word to them
as I left and set sail for a far distant shore.
Their faces remained with me
through the years in photographs.
The years slipped by so quickly
from teenager to adult hood,
but still those photographs
kept the past alive to me.
Always hoping one day,
I would be able to see them over again.
More years slipped by
and the chances of that happening
became just as remote as could be,
or so I thought.
Then on the 15 December 2006,
I had an internal message on classmates.com
and that is where the first of my two second chances began.
The second came shortly afterwards
when this classmate introduced me to her friend,
whose encouraging words made me take
the second of my second chances
and on the 19th January 2007 I lifted my pen to paper
after six or seven years
and never looked back since then.
Since that date, I have written
one thousand four hundred and twenty eight poems,
a novel and published my first book.
All because of the second chances, I got.
If you are given a second chance
at anything at all,
grasp them with all your might,
never letting them go
because you will probably never get them again.

Chances Are
Chances are you'll find me
Somewhere on your road tonight,
Seems I always end up drivin' by,
Ever since I've known you
It just seems you're on my way,
All the rules of logic don't apply
I long to see you in the night,
Be with you till morning light...
I remember clearly
How you looked the night we met,
I recall your laughter and your smile,
I remember how you made me
Feel so at ease,
I remember your grace, your style...
And now your all I long to see,
You've come to mean so much to me...
Chances are I'll see you,
Somewhere in my dreams tonight.
You'll be smilin' like the night we met,
Chances are I'll hold you,
And I'll offer all I have
You're the only one I can't forget,
Baby your the best I've ever met...
And I'll be dreamin' of the future,
And hopin' you'll be by my side
And in the morning I'll be longing,
For the night...
For the night...
Chances are I'll see you,
Somewhere in my dreams tonight...
You'll be smilin' like the night we met...
Chances are I'll hold you,
And I'll offer all I have,
You're the only one I can't forget...
Baby your the best I've ever met.

Are You Ready?
This place inside my mind, a place I like to hide,
You dont know the chances, what if I should die?
A place inside my brain, another kind of pain,
You dont know the chances, Im so blind, blind, blind.
Another place Ill find, to escape the pain inside,
You dont know the chances, what if I should die?
A place inside my brain, another kind of pain,
You dont know the chances, Im so blind, blind, blind.
Deeper and deeper and deeper as I journey to
Living a life that seems to be a lost reality
That I could never find a way to reach my inner self
Esteem is low, how deep can I go,
In the ground that I lay, if I dont find a way to
Sift through the gray that clouds my mind.
This time I look to see whats between the lines!
I can see, I can see Im going blind. (x12)
Im blind. (x4)

So There Is No Us Really
my heart longs for your love.
i wait like a stranger waiting for the next bus
to take me out of town
perhaps for another vacation
where i may find myself again
to discover some hidden joys,
to make my skin ready for
another peeling for some
new feelings perhaps
love, or desire, or lust,
but whatever that is, my heart still
longs for your love, i had you and
i did not have enough of you
and then you said no,
this is enough, this is arriving us
at nothing. I let you go, you ask for
freedom. My arms since then
are as empty and so light as
floating baloons taking the chances
on air. I know you see all of them
bursting.
You feel the essence of my silence.
Tell me what is it?
It is about a patient love, like a stranger
waiting for another bus to take it out of town.
Still finding more chances to find you
back again so my arms may not be
as light as a floating baloon taking
its chances for an upward air.

Say A Little Prayer
Mr. moonlight...shinebright
Show me my mr. right
Lights, camera, action
I wanna be his sole distraction
Cupid draw your bow
Shoot it nice and slow
Send it straight to his heart
Love dont let him go
You must let him know
This is love from the start
(chorus):
Say a little prayer
Say a little prayer for me tonight
Say a little prayer
Say a little prayer for my hear tonight
Mama always told me
(sometimes)
What you get is not what you see
Im not taking any chances
No more broken romances
Cupid draw your bow fetch
(chorus x2)
I promise to always love and care for him
And I promise...to do my very best for him
I promise...to cherish him for all of my life
I promise...to always love and care for him
And I promise...Ill always be there for him
I promise...to love him for the rest of my life

Risky
Ripop/sakamoto/laswell
Born in a corporate dungeon
Where people are cheated of life
I knew I could never stay home no
As you lie in the dark
With your pink dress on
You look risky lovely risky lovely
Child of the whispering skies
Risky thats your name
Risky unashamed
Risky show your style
Risky loves on trial
You make me feel that this heart is real
When you hold me love me hold me love me
Girl with the scream in her eyes
Risky thats your name
Risky unashamed
Risky show your style
Risky loves on trial
People fall apart all the time
Ive been hit enough to know why
Climb to this point move on
Climb to this point move on
Career, career acquire, acquire
But what is life whithout a heart
Theres standing room only
Somebody better tell the truth
Proceed at your own risk
Risky thats your name
Risky unashamed
Risky show your style
Risky loves on trial
Why feel so sad
Let your heart be glad
Love is risky lovely risky lovely
Child of the whispering skies
Born in a corporate dungeon
Where people are cheated of life
I knew I could never stay home
Risky love, risky love, risky love, sweet love
Risky love, risky love, give me love, sweet love, risky love, risky love

Prior To Whatever The Outcome
Who knows if those decisions we make,
Will achieve and please...
An expected result?
With a certainty known that is already felt.
The ones who take chances,
Eventually learned...
Something about deciding,
Upon which way to turn.
It is easy to reflect upon those experiences,
One gets.
And express whether or not,
A relief to them came with no grieving met.
But those who hesitate in a waiting done...
Are always heard to state they know what will occur,
Prior to whatever the outcome that is shunned...
Comes to ease or wreck havoc on their nerves.
Prior to whatever the outcome,
A shunning...
Prior to whatever the outcome,
Is done!
Prior to whatever the outcome,
A shunning...
Prior to whatever the outcome,
Is done!

Once Upon A Lifetime
Once upon a lifetime
I looked in someone's eyes
and felt the fire burning in my heart
for the very first time
she was scared and young
and had never tasted love
so I took her by the hand
a boy became a man
once upon a lifetime
And once upon a lifetime
you hold the queen of hearts
but if you gamble on a diamond
when the dealing starts
you stand to lose it all
as the cards begin to fall
and the lesson learned is hard
you're only dealt the queen of hearts
once upon a lifetime
So if you're taking chances
know the chance you take
a broken heart's a high price to pay
foolish ways will make fools of the wise
and the best things seldom come along twice
Once upon a lifetime
you know that you've been blessed
when you hold your first born tenderly
against your chest
and through the innocence you see
the value of a family
and you feel a special bond
that only comes along
once upon a lifetime
So if you're taking chances
know the chance you take
a broken heart's a high price to pay
foolish ways will make fools of the wise
and the best things seldom come along twice
And people only find
a love like your's and mine
once upon a lifetime

Second Chances
(Sanger D. Schafer/Tommy Collins)
Man don't you know
This woman you want and crave
Is the queen of my kingdom
When she walks through the garden
Roses drop pedals
To cushion the foot steps she takes
I know she once loved you
And I know you still lover her
But you carlessly asked for your freedom
I can see how it hurts you
But it's too late
You made your mistakes
Man you know second chances these days
Are so hard to come by
I love that lady
So you best forget
Ever gettin' her back cause she's mine
Man you know I had somebody else once
And she just gave me one try
And second chances these days
Are so hard to come by
Man you know second chances these days
Are so hard to come by
I love that lady
So you best forget
Ever gettin' her back cause she's mine
Man you know I had somebody else once
And she just gave me one try
And second chances these days
Are so hard to come by
And second chances these days
Are so hard to come by
