Burdened By Delusions

And they arrived at their destination,
Avoiding a self examination...
All thought best not to seek.
Feelings of inferiority,
Made them feel weak.
Leaving them where they chose to be...
Surrounded by a rejection,
With an absence of comprehension none sought.
All claim no one professed to be blindfolded.
But 'what' and 'who' delivered them,
To an obvious dead end?
Where they find only themselves...
Burdened by delusions and in protest!

You Are Not Going to Play With Me Today

You are so far removed from my to do list.
So distant you are,
My binoculars can not locate you.
I never thought I would feel this way.
But I am looking for a mind easier to find.
And yours?
It is never where you claim it to be,
Even when you bring it.

Playing peek-a-boo and hide and seek...
Chase-me-until-you-find-me games,
Were fine when I was a 'kid' in my 40's!
But one of us has grayed and moved on...
To seek a more muture outlook that pleases.
Don't smile and grin.
You are not that far from the fringes of this explanation.
Well...
Maybe you are.

When some of us became adults...
You decided to take another destination.
And I'm not adding that to my frustrations.
Of which you have helped to manifest.

You are so far removed from my to do list.
So distant you are,
My binoculars can not locate you.
I never thought I would feel this way.
But I am looking for a mind easier to find.
And yours?
It is never where you claim it to be,
Even when you bring it.

You are 'not' going to play with me today.
I have run out of scotch.
And my neighbors are not yet quite convinced...
My standing on the ledge of the building,
Is to get away from your voice.
They believe I have other wishes.
Even though I tell them I am fine...
You tell them I am having problems.
But you never tell them you are the main one!
They think I am the one who is 'nuts'!
However...
Five minutes with you,
Should end any clues I might drop!

Committing Suicide

God it seems so sad he held his pain inside
And chose to end his life committing suicide.
Believing no one cared wishing he was gone
He somehow lost the strength and will to just move on.
Not seeking help he needed or confiding in a friend
He decided painful feelings are feelings that don't end.
So reaching for the gun he raised it to his head
And pulled the trigger back and instantly was dead.
Leaving many questions to all those left behind
And answers they could search for but somehow never find.
No one ever knew his feelings no one knew he cried
Or why he chose to end his life
'Committing Suicide.'

Souvenirs

Meander without leaving a trail
Like how you cry without a wail
They come, they go, the beacons
Of this silently burdened quarters
Like how you shall when you seek,
When you are sought,
When you are found;
The tourists who wander and
The streetlamps at every dusk
They are the only things that pass
But still remains the same.

So, come and be sought,
So, come and seek,
And pick up the little souvenirs
Of the best pilfered time
But never leave one
Not even the memory
Of your taillights' waning.

It had been too good
To remain the same
Perhaps heaven lies within
The tranquility of beckoning
So tonight I shall wager
For the heaven in these souvenirs.

Are We Not At Our Best

Are we not at our best,
When upset and protesting...
Against that which we let,
Slip yet further to another step taken...
That gets us closer into a depth,
Bypassed without correcting.

And are we not at out best,
When conveniently forgetting...
With selected memories,
A truth to us had been spoken...
But we chose when told of it,
To disbelieve as we did what we pleased.

And even though we today protest,
A wasting of precious time we find...
To detest what had been suggested.
With a doing just to prove,
We can cement ourselves with a stubbornness.
While refusing to remove those delusions,
We seek to promote no matter how remote they are.

Dawn

Do you know what it's like to feel dead at dawn?
To have slept sleep fragmented and feel battered and torn?
Do you know what its like to feel cast aside?
To feel that you're nothing, no arms open wide?
Do you know how that emptiness feels?
When your own weird imaginings become more than dreams?
Do you know that weird feeling of what's going on?
When all seems a nonsense and reality's gone?
Do you know how rejection hits sharp at the heart?
And makes you feel worthless and not know where to start?
Do you think of the other or just of yourself?
When things get so painful and you're out of your depth?
Do you ever once ponder on just how I feel?
Or do you once think that my feelings are real?
Or do you define things in a different way
And just wish that those things would all go away?
Here we agree more than you'd know
These feelings I have I just wish they would go
But wish as I may it's not worth the thought
They stay there, they haunt me and torture and taunt
But, then, as you say, its my problem not yours
So, all I can do is not enter the door
That once had a welcome and feelings inside
And so it is now that we have to decide
If we should move forwards or give it all up
It's so simple you see when enough is enough.

Welcomed Into the Family of Comprehension

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

What hand reaching out to shake,
Does not support that?
What prolonged heartbreak,
Would stay wallowing in sorrow?
To borrow an excuse,
Or a chance not to view agony?
Close up and into a tear stained face.
You should not want that reflecting...
Everywhere,
And in every face you see.
Denial is the most contagious disease!
Everywhere,
And in every face you see.
Denial is the most contagious disease!

No thing is detached,
That keeps an attraction from coming back.
Something is attached to that.
And seriously repeated.

When done,
The meaning of that purpose...
Should not go misunderstood!
Like selling one 'pot' who requested 'crack'.
An end should come to that.
When the mind gets that whacked out.
And chained to keep one remaining unchanged.

If it does because of ignorance declared delicious?
That can be forgiven, allowed and forgotten.
We all have had our cravings.
However...
If it does come from an intention reeking in deceit?
That can be considered a good cause,
Some some severe cussing out!
And some folks have earned their cussing out,
Those deserving it...
Rights!

And some folks can be sadistic about it!
You can not cuss them out enough!
There are a number of them to unionize.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

If it does come from an intention meant?
That can be shallow, obvious...
And an absence of common sense.
And an absence of it is more common than not!
If one ain't got it!
And an intention done lacking sense,
Wastes too much time.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

Imperfection From Absence

Send me a rose thorn for my love’s rejection
Or a rosebud for thy love’s confession
Ardent love sometimes shows picture of perfection
But the absence of your touch means less affection.

The gaiety brought by sweet amity
Altogether with cup of honesty
But despite your true love and your fidelity
The absence of your thought brings nothing but anxiety.

Notes from you were very few
To little for us to find our love anew
Absence they say makes the heart fonder
But truly, absence only makes our heart shatter.

Don't You Find Yourself In An Odd Position?

Don't you find yourself in an odd position?

Remember,
It was years ago...
When you mentioned to me,
I could be a bank president...
If I chose to be?

And you went on to gain success in finance.
Only to find you and your position...
Assessed as being outdated and flat broke.
And even with your 'genius' mind...
You can't make a dollar worth more than a dime.

Don't you find yourself in an odd position?

Remember,
It was years ago...
When you mentioned to me,
I could be a bank president...
If I chose to be?

And I chose to see myself happy,
And free of sustained delusions.
And you?
Well...
I can not say,
You did not make your own choices.
You've got your title.
And I've got my life!
With a basicness only happiness,
Has fulfilled.

Don't you find yourself in an odd position?
If not...
You must have adopted fresh delusions.

Raised to Only Praise Delusions

They come quick to evaluate the words...
And not the content of the message.
They come to seek and critique,
Definitions and language use.
As if an acceptance of concepts,
Will be a test to pass the task that is earned.
They want to qualify the composition...
And the one who prepared the text.
But what is being delivered,
Does not with them connect.
Their minds have been set to protest.
They would like to find the composer negligent.
Incompetent at best!
With an ego self enthralled.
And what should in their minds connect...
Is rejected to leave them stalled.
They were raised to only praise delusions.
And that,
Afterall...
Has become their reason and purpose.
They have become limited and programmed.
With no desire to stand and walk tall.
But to remain on their knees...
As they have been taught to crawl!

Fools Blindfolded In Duels

Fools blindfolded in duels.

The unfortunate sadness of all of this is,
They have come to champion their own demise.
In a cohesive collectedness...
Based on racist politics,
That has liberals pitted against those conservative.
And no one sabered with this 'arrogance'
Takes into account,
A country splitting into pieces of disaster!
As the severity of their actions surmount.

Fools blindfolded in duels.

A saving of a lost quality of life.
And that is being proclaimed,
By those too ignorant...
To assess their own shame.
Or a self examination,
That leads by steps to an unregrettable,
End.

Fools blindfolded in duels.

And those owning and holding the debt...
Could care less!
Since they...
Unannounced,
And undeclared...
Have long been the winners,
Of these 'foreign' affairs not theirs...
To bare or shoulder in deceit!
And they observe from distances...

Fools blindfolded in duels.

Unqualified or Aware

You seek from me,
What I seek from you!
Leaving our needs to be left weak,
From the seeking.
If you and I just be without that seeking...
We would find our search complete.
And satisfy that daily heat!
We wish to see first...
And not feel the thirst of it!
Knowing it is there.
If we only cared enough to trust.
Instead of believing...
Someone else can compare,
And share.
Although...
We find them ultimately,
Unqualified or aware...
Inside of us,
We have such lust!

Blinded By The Kicking Up of Dust

You seek confirmation for yesterday's visions.
With an assistance sought,
For clarity and comprehension.

And the speed at which things change,
Has a need for passengers riding...
Who are more receptive.

That is why you remain out of touch.
You are hesitating to wait to aboard,
Something much slower than a bus.

And those days have long been gone.
You sought no rush!
Now you find you are blinded...
By the kicking up of dust.

Nothing To Them Dawns

It is getting increasingly obvious,
Who the foolish people are.
And the support they are receiving,
By those who follow blindly behind...
With an absence of their own thought process.

It is getting increasingly obvious,
Who has been depicted as nonconformists.
With a choosing to witness those sitting on a fence.
Debating between themselves to convince,
Which one is more logical and who makes sense.
As they try to impress who has the greater intelligence.

And the ones long depicted as nonconformists,
Now too impatient to listen to foolish arguments...
Find what others do no longer to their amusement.
With decisions they have made in times faded and gone,
To leave alone whether right or wrong...
Those remaining to debate over the obvious,
From Sunrise to Sunset and yet nothing to them dawns.

Dictation Done

If there is anything experience teaches,
To those who have gone through that process...
With a final acceptance of lessons taught,
Is this...

No matter where one goes with an experienced life,
Achieved through the benefit of failure...
Sometimes repeated.
And lessons learned that have been taught.
Those who seek comprehension,
Will never find time to be bored.

And will one day discover their observations,
Are the ones that are eagerly sought!
Since so many others seem to be awaiting...
A school bell to ring and an announcement made,
That a thought one initiates should soon begin!
With a dictation done that has nothing to do,
To provide one with the tools to use common sense!

The Brewing Scent Of Freshly Made Coffee

It is no longer a matter of them telling the truth.
No...It isn't!
And it should be a concern for those who know it,
As it exists in their gut and as it has to them meant,
From observation, felt and experienced as presented...
That those who use other than truth to tell,
Actually are not convinced others are aware they lie.
Since alibis and excuses behind which they hide,
Has been something done to do all of their lives.
And their delusions have become their defense mechanisms.

But today,
Those embellishments exaggerated are easily chased away.
And facing consequences as a result of their defenses,
Has created their dilemmas and conflicts with their entitlements.

Some people will create right in the face of others,
There own versions of what is going on.
With eyes are pure as those seen coming from children.
And this isn't given as an option to express,
Their difference of opinion to address.
This comes from refusing to accept the absence of alternatives.
And what has taken place is immediately from them mentally erased.
Leaving feelings of abandonment,
By those who have been fantasized all their lives.
That is why they protest with a nonacceptance of a reality that is!
Although those realities as they are have never before to them been felt.

And no one seems to acknowledge,
The brewing scent of freshly made coffee...
There!
And everywhere in the air for all to get a deep whiff of it.

'That 'smell'?
What is it? '

~I have not a clue.~

Damn These Feelings

Damn these feelings of which I feel.
I didn't sign up for this maddening deal.
I'll just sit and drink till I have nerves of steel.
A black savage heart that no longer feels.

Damn these feelings for I've been had,
for theses feeling which are much too real it's pathetic and sad.

I'm finding it very hard to deal,
when all around everyone cuts with such zeal.
Damn these feelings they pull and peel,
away at your soul leaving no room to heal.

My hearts still under reconstruction,
and it won't last through another rejection.
Damn these feelings so I say,
if they continue I won't see another day.

Children of Ignorance

the children of ignorance
with bits in their mouths,
led blindfolded to the slaughter
without a thought or a prayer.

whipped into a frenzy by lies,
wrapped with golden ribbons,
sold by street vendors in suits
with hollow faces and marble eyes.

fed the 'word of God' with shotguns,
wearing crucifix painted robes;
selling their daughters for gasoline,
and their sons to political wars.

marching to hatred and violence,
leaving the weak to suffer and fall.
in the name of patriotism and Wall Street,
led like dumb sheep to die.
and they're already dead!

A Providing of the Ingredients

I will not fantasize anyone's innocence,
To depict ideals given no chance to exist.
What is observed today is as is.
And those who popularized an escaping,
From a yesterday that has gone away...
Colorized to hypnotize desires,
To portray themselves in ways their delusions...
Could only accept.
Will always find what is currently uncovered,
To be distasteful.
And yet...
A providing of the ingredients,
Came delivered as choice selections they chose.
But today refuse to be served to eat.

What you lost

so i am done with dwelling over your dumb choice
I am no longer hiding my voice
I will find someone better than you
He will love me and be true
I was mistaken by your beauty
When i thought that you loved me
We'll stay friends and thats all it will amount to
Because i know that i am better off without you
I know you'll miss me thats obvious
You'll never feel the way you did when there was us
You might find someone whos prettier
But you won't like whats inside of her
You mind find someone with some stuff in common
But not as much as me and you did
You will miss me and want me back
But i dont know about that
I might give you a chance if i want
But if I found better probably not
So think of the fate in which you've chose
Think of what you lost and see where your heart goes

Strapped To Ineffective Stagnation

When a choice is made,
To dismiss the experience of another...
With feelings that become defensive,
Because someone is perceived to be...
A know it all with a hidden agenda to achieve!
How can anyone blame with a finding of fault,
The one who decides to walk away...
From those who choose,
A brick wall to find and repeatedly stalk.
Without making any attempts to climb.

Leaving behind this kind of mindset,
Is best to do with no need to feed conflicts.
Or a getting upset!

People will or will not eventually learn,
From hitting their heads that are knocked.
As facts accepted,
Prevents their delusions with a stopping.
And a respect is given to a listening,
That develops one's comprehension that starts...
A devotion to understanding.

When that begins,
An ignorance dissipates to end!
Like a collection of dust blowing away with a wind.

And the one who has risen to accept life to wisen,
Refrains from the sharing of rolling childish eyes.
Or tries to compromise a truth,
To argue with those too foolish to remove limitations.
That keeps them strapped to ineffective stagnation.
