After The Filth Has Been Filtered
After the filth has been filtered,
And drained from minds forced to open...
There will be more honest discussions,
Attempted and made...
Between those in shadows,
And those accustomed to giving shade.
After the filth has been filtered.
With more uninhibited wishes,
From those who escaped away from those days...
When people were afraid to remove those masks,
Some homemade...
That did not convey true portrayals.
But were worn instead,
To deny and hide themselves with choices to be led.
And after the filth has been filtered,
More of life for them begins.
More of life is felt and shared.
With the necessity of charades and masquerades,
For them to end.

Filtered May Be Your Love of Manure
Filtered may be your love of manure.
But the reeking of it still identifies you,
With filth.
Changing the fragrance doesn't replace,
Your presence.
And no matter how slick the oil gets,
Whether applied to your hair greased or not...
To give the appearance of vast riches.
The scent of it is a reminder of your stench.

Fountain Of Filth
There it was
Just like old faithful
The eternal fountain of filthi
I took a walk straight out of town
But then I stopped and took my time for pleasure
I was alone, I looked around
I heard a voice 50 I buckled for safety
And there it was down on the ground
A pool of sound that showed my own reflection
In a fountain of filth
Eternal fountain of filth
I tried to run I couldnt move
Frozen solid while the thoughts of men
Attacked me
Out of my head the fountain shot
And drowned me in a serum that I couldnt
Put a stop to
It was me myself and I locked in a struggle
With the talking head below me
In a fountain of filth
Eternal fountain of filth
I got a hunger that makes me say things
I got a hunger that makes me do things
I got a hunger that makes me want things
Im just a victim of filth
Nowhere are we safe
From the power of
From the reach of
From the appeal of
The eternal fountain of filth

Varanasi
Amongst the filth
the sweet sound of the flute player
carries through the heated air
and everywhere,
down the Ghats
at sunrise,
the pilgrims gather
along the sacred river Ganges;
devoted to life,
birth and death.
Here in ancient Varanasi
against the backdropp of temples centuries old,
the soul of man
finds its own way home
amongst the filth.

Beautiful the Virgin
Beautiful is the virgin, whose tainted purity causes pity in all man's breast.
Innocence there is not, trickery is their everything.
Has no one spared a thought to wonder?
Has no one spared a spark to the imagination?
Beautiful is the virgin, deflowered filth.
Whore to those that pity such filth, anger against those disgusted by filth.
Innocence, an illusion with such vivid imagination, whose trickery is this?

Food and waste
From the cradle to the grave,
We gulp every thing as sweat
And after the process of digestion
The food defecates as filth.
The world to a child is honey.
The world to the old turns a filth.

Dissent 1
Why contribute toward your own exploitation?
We must not forsake our freedom or liberty
As we saturate in our need for property,
Or for uninhibited accumulation.
Why persuade yourself by unfounded quotations,
Filtered phrases that are structured for consumption?
Why formulate your opinions by presumption?
Why resign yourself to mass-indoctrination?

Easily Accessible
I am glad we all have come to agree,
That something has to be done...
To protect our children from the trash,
That is easily accessible to them on the internet.
For three hours I watched with disgust,
Some of the most appalling scenes...
I have ever witnessed in my life.
I sat there in total disbelief.
'I do have a suggestion to make? '
Let's hear it.
'Why don't we each find,
The most disgusting trash available.
Take a week in observing it.
Exchange our findings.
And by the end of next month...
Form a committee to analyze the affect,
This unacceptable filth has had...
On the minds of our innocent children.'
That's a great idea.
Anyone opposing?
Oh...
And by the way.
I recommend an observing of this filth,
After our spouses and children have fallen to sleep.
To ensure our investigations are not interrupted.
'That's another good idea.'

Scars Of Our Past
you say you wana know me,
But do you really?
do you see who i am?
Do you see my scars?
look closer, their carves straight into my arm.
Do you see my pain, the tears, streaming down my face.
you hold me in your arms, tell me you care,
but do you really?
How?
Im covered in their filth from what they've all done to m, no matter how many times i shower the filth wont ever leave, it will never go away. cant you see the scars that my past have left behind.
But thats okay becasue today im choosing to make a stand im leaving my scars and past behind.

To Spread a Disgust
A filth disguised,
Does not hide its stench.
It will still smell!
It will still leave a trail,
That stinks.
And does that quite well.
That is its purpose.
To spread a disgust.
And discussing that with others,
Of like minds!
They are of the demonic kind!

Sheltered Life
Never been to london, never been to france
Never was sorry never learned to dance
Never walked down to 42nd street and frairs
Never smoked any filtered air
Guess its true what all the people say
Gonna have to mend my old time ways, yeah
I guess its true, guess, Ive lived a sheltered life
Never walked about on the streets at night
Never got into an uptown fight
Never smoked a hookah, never saw a rug
Couldnt even squash a beetle bug
Guess its true Im gonna have to change my ways
Guess its true what all the people say, yeah
I know its true, guess, Ive lived a sheltered life
Never went to parties in a chauffeured car
Never wore a top hat cause I wont get far
Never learned to handle all the things that Ive seen
Maybe Ill grow up to be big and mean
Guess its true what all the people say
Gonna have to change my old fashioned ways, well
I guess its true, guess, Ive lived a sheltered life

Transformation
Moonlight filtered through the trees.
Can cast strange shadows on the ground
which fill me with a vague unease
because they seem to move around.
Somehow independently
The minute that I look away.
As if they have been watching me
to try and lead my thoughts astray.
I know that in reality
the shadows represent no threat
But fear erodes my certainty
and in my panic I forget.
I only know I have to run.
Just as the shadows knew I would
They coalesce, attack as one
Then finally I understood.
I should have run when I first saw
the shadows on the forest floor.
I know now what I did not know
before I became a shadow.

Not Dead, Just Dormant
I'm not dead, just dormant.
The silence converges.
As if my head was held within the gallows.
This man deserves the cruelest torture thus far known.
But still I sit upon this self invented tin can I claim as my own.
A home in which I will be grilled.
Deprived of all the human comforts and necessities.
Those bread into filth will die upon the same filth.
An indignity in the clause of fairness.
The discrimination against equal liberties.
They are here to defend the peace it is said.
But defending against what I just don't know.
No Interruption has occurred in anyone daily life.
No matter how unorthodox the routine.
If words can break so many.
Then it's time to look at the way it was made.
A failing of architect and design.
The classes being setup to wage war upon themselves.
It as I see it and many around me do the same.
We want to be angry.
We want to blame.
We want to fight.
But the cost of the love ones lost would be too much to bare.
These are our people I keep hearing.
Their not the enemy.
And this is the creation of the evil within.
The protection from ourselves.
We apparently don't always know best.
And this is most certainly true even as the words from my own mouth are sometimes hard to digest.
But to force one into jail to save something that has already failed.
Indeed it is like riding across the sea in boat which has already been punctured.
Sir we have to keep it a float.
Just continue to bail.
And the water continues to rise one eventually has to face the reality that the ship is going to sink.
As one would say we're just prolonging the inevitable.
And when the boat does sink, will make a difference whether your on it or not?
For either way you still have to swim for shore and hope you make it.
Or at least come close to the cast away dream.
A maybe next time this boat we build will be able to endure even the hardest of rocks.
A lesson can be gained from past mistakes.
No matter the way of the intention.
Enslaved by the corruption of the minds.
Easily swayed for the easily life.
Take it away and nothing will be quite as nice.
But that painting can only ever satisfy one.
Their will never be enough to go completely around.
Their will be those who will have to suffer for our ignorance.
It is just a fact of life.

Let’s create windows In our minds
Houses and buildings
Have Windows
Buses and trains
Too have windows
When open
Light and fresh air
Comes in through them
Allows foul air to go out
When closed
Prevents Dust and filth
From coming in
Let’s create windows
In our minds
Allow good thoughts
To come in and enlighten
The mind
Let the bad thoughts go out
Close the window of the mind
When bad thoughts
Try to intrude in
Listen to what people say
With an open mind

Poem (Hate Is Only One Of Many Responses)
Hate is only one of many responses
true, hurt and hate go hand in hand
but why be afraid of hate, it is only there
think of filth, is it really awesome
neither is hate
don't be shy of unkindness, either
it's cleansing and allows you to be direct
like an arrow that feels something
out and out meanness, too, lets love breathe
you don't have to fight off getting in too deep
you can always get out if you're not too scared
an ounce of prevention's
enough to poison the heart
don't think of others
until you have thought of yourself, are true
all of these things, if you feel them
will be graced by a certain reluctance
and turn into gold
if felt by me, will be smilingly deflected
by your mysterious concern

Perfect Ice Cube Recipe
A cup of cold branch water,
triple filtered, extra dry.
Bring it to a rolling boil-
in a moment you'll see why.
Pour it into ice cube trays
and place it in the freezer
This recipe is tried and true
obtained from an old geezer.
Wait two hours, then remove
the ice cubes from their tray.
Notice they are crystal clear,
never cloudy cracked or grey.
Place some in a six ounce glass
making sure that none are wasted
then add a single malt and sip
the best ice cubes ever tasted.
