Absolutely A Non-Cool Thing To Do
Projecting to reflect,
One's nonsense upon another...
Is absolutely a non-cool thing to do.
One's reputation can be ruined,
Just by the things people chose to prove...
Can be done as pursued.
There is no need to take advantage,
Of someone's hospitality.
There is no need to extend a visit,
To sit in someone's home...
Showing a disrespect.
There is no need to do as one pleases,
Because someone has stated...
'What is mine is yours.'
That is a figure of speech.
Not to be taken literally.
To invite all of your friends over...
To then announce to the host of your visit,
'I decided to have a party.
You are invited IF you'd like to come.'
Whose house is this?
It's not yours!
Projecting to reflect,
One's nonsense upon another...
Is absolutely a non-cool thing to do.
There is no need to take advantage,
Of someone's hospitality.
There is no need to extend a visit,
To sit in someone's home...
Showing a disrespect.
There is no need to do as one pleases,
Because someone has stated...
'What is mine is yours.'
That is a figure of speech.
Not to be taken literally.
And some people never get this.
Just to end good relationships.
And don't have a clue how they do it!

Like You And I Were In A Marriage?
You say I have been harsh and critical,
Aloof and seem to be unreasonably embittered.
You also make claims I have been unapproachable,
And that my actions are more like a quitter.
You say,
Whenever you come to visit my home...
I sit with very little to exchange in conversation.
And my hospitality has begun to get 'edgy'...
As if I don't want to communicate in the sharing of,
Those topics you pick.
'I see...
When was the last time you invited me,
To come to your home?
Or invited me out anywhere? '
Well...
I...uh...live in a...uh,
Neighborhood I don't particularly like.
And besides...
I like your music.
The meals you cook are delicious.
And...
Where else can I go,
To use a computer, watch anything I want on TV...
And not be disturbed by noisy neighbors.
'I see.
Like you and I were in a marriage? '
No. No...
Nothing like that.
Just good friends.

Expectations Of A Hospitality
Let's make this clear,
Between us.
What you wish to do,
At the expense of my time...
Is not permissible.
I see that as blatant disrespect.
And you might not ever understand this.
But,
You inviting 'your' friends over to my home...
With expectations of a hospitality,
None of you get...
Should not make you upset at all.
Regardless if you did call,
To ask if I minded some company.
'I thought you and I were friends? '
Yeah.
But I'm not prepared to host,
An unexpected party.
Whether it is a 'surprise' one or not.

The Awaited Visit
A True Story;
As experienced and written by Ron Tranmer
I decided to go to a rest home
to see an old friend one day.
I stopped to speak to a lady
who I noticed was looking my way.
She was happy that I came over.
There was something she wanted to say.
She smiled and said from her wheelchair,
"My boy will come visit today."
It's been quite a while since I've seen him,
He's always quite busy you know…
He doesn't live too far from here,
And he knows that I love him so.
Each morning as I rise from bed
My prayer is the same as I say,
Father In Heaven, I ask but one thing,
That my boy will come visit today.
He was always such a good boy.
And the only child we had.
He was only 10 years old
When I lost my husband…his dad.
He married soon after college.
And got a great job with good pay
He calls me at times on the telephone,
But I know he'll come visit today.
I'm lonely here in the rest home.
How I long for my son to come by.
They tell me my health is now failing,
But he'll visit before I must die."
I leaned over and gave her a hug
And the tears on my cheeks wiped away.
She smiled and said, there's no need to cry,
My boy will come visit today."

Our Mindsets Are On Two Different Ships
Relationships based upon the masquerading of images...
Are not invited for private meetings,
Within the comfort of my home.
People who condone those types of affairs,
I don't criticize at all.
What is mine is not theirs to share.
And mutually I don't see why the other would care.
Our mindsets are on two different ships.
Relationships based upon the masquerading of images...
Are not invited for private meetings,
Within the comfort of my home.
No one is invited to come into my home,
To play hide and seek.
Or guess what I'm thinking next!
If the conversation is not open and free...
I don't extend understandings.
Get up and leave,
That's my policy!

Visit For As Long As You Wish
You may visit upon this land.
But to force debate of its direction...
Is not a matter to be question.
Or demand answers you expect.
Because you believe another way,
For its inhabitants is best.
You may visit for as long as you wish.
Enjoy the ambiance, hospitality...
And the peacefulness.
But suggestions from you,
Regarding the enhancements done...
To the view and our lifestyles too?
For us is not accepted.
Conflicts on this land...
You will not inject.
If you have motives and plans for this...
You will be ushered to experience,
A respected yet definite sudden exit.
We are not in need,
For a financed confusion that infuses deceit.
To have you label it democracy.
You may visit for as long as you wish.
And when your visit is finished...
You will leave and that will be it!

Nice Place To Visit
Not really lookin for, for nothing special,
Just someplace that I can call my own,
Im growing tired of, of running wild,
Its time I settled down
Bridge:
There seems to be some lights on,
But aint nobody home
I think I see some lights on,
But there aint nobody home
Aint being choosy, but
Dont want no floozy,
And thats not much to ask
Chorus:
Shes a nice place to visit (3x)
But I wouldnt want to live her,
Nice place to visit
Hey, is anybody home?
Seeing is believing,
But looks can be deceiving,
What you get aint always what you see
I like what s down there,
But no one is upstairs,
I think theres bats in the belfry
Chorus
I dont know whats come over me,
Im blinded by the scenery,
Nice place to visit,
I dont know what Im gonna do
Im coming back because of you,
Nice place to visit, visit, visit...
Bridge
This big bad wolf knows
Which way the wind blows,
And which little piggys house is made of brick,
Must have vacated, or mislocated,
Theres just toys, toys in the attic
Chorus (hey, is anybody home? )
Knock, knock, whos there?
Shes a nice place to visit (2x)

Here You Are In Need Of A Fix
I've come here to inform you,
I no longer will be taking...
Anymore of your nonsense.
I've decided there is no more need,
I have of it.
None whatsoever!
'That's a relief.
I'm glad you came to my home to tell me that.
I was just about to call you,
To refuse your invitation sent.
Requesting a visit I thought made no sense.
And here you are...in need of a fix.'

Heart Beating In Time
Each day without fail
the road would visit the house
(it was the only house the road knew)
and the house too
would look forward to
the road’s visit.
Over the years they became
good friends.
Then one day the house died
from lack of people
and was torn down
until it was only
memory and rubble.
The road continued to visit it
but could only stare into empty space
at the place where the house
had been.
The road was lonely.
At night it talked to
the landscape and the stars
but life was never the same
again.
One day the road just up and died
from lack of use.
Now only the dream
of a memory exists
and the landscape and stars
talk to themselves
and try to remember
what it is...they have
forgot.

Your Outsourcing Abilities
Calm down!
What is the matter with you?
You look exasperated.
Irritated AND annoyed.
What happened?
'I arrived home.
And everything was gone.
All of my food.
Icecream and my favorite cookies.'
Gee.
Really?
I saw your buddies doing that.
But...
I didn't think anything about it.
'You witnessed it?
And didn't say a thing about it to them? '
Why should I?
Those are your friends.
Your allies.
And besides on my last visit to your home,
You declared you would do absolutely anything...
To get your hands on season tickets.
Do you remember this?
'Well...
Yes.'
Do you remember telling your 'friends',
Whatever they wanted from you...
They didn't even have to ask.
And whatever it was had been up for grabs?
And all they had to do was to take it from you?
'Well...?
Sorta...kinda.
Why didn't you stop me?
You could have said something.'
I did.
I called you a fool.
And then what did you say,
As your friends looked at both me and you?
'I said...
If anyone knew anything about outsourcing.
It was 'me' and not you who should be calling 'you' names.'
Exactly.
And you are right.
Apparently calling you a fool,
Was not enough.
Especially when you issued each one of your 'buddies',
A set of your house keys...
To come and go as they please.
'But I didn't think they would do anything like this to me.'
Well...
You did show 'your' outsourcing abilities,
At the expense of feeding yourself.
And I hope you are not here,
To accuse or blame me for your activities?
You and your friends do that 'feast or famine' thing together.
Do not involve me.
I am going to sleep, eat and live my life quietly in peace.
Would you like a sandwich?

Enough Weight
I was really shocked and saddened
The death of two people hardened
My views on divine weapon of death
Which is on our head till the last breath?
Both were dear one and very close
It raised many questions and posed
Its validity and threat in human eyes
Even thought it has wide acceptability
'Will you not come once at my home? '
I turned to see friend's sister waiting to welcome
'You have not dropped in even single time'
I want you to be at my home sometimes
She was diagnosed as last stage cancer patient
Hr chances to remain alive were very much absent
I could see death fear in her vocal request
Even though she tried to remain calm at her best
'I will not come to your till you visit mine'
He virtually threatened me whenever I invited him to dine
He will feel bad when I shall fail to return the visit
He was hale and hearty and fully fit
He went on pilgrimage to holy shrines
Even though he had fever but felt very fine
While on ascent to high hill he developed pain
He was hardly given last time to raise voice and complain
Both departed in few space of time
I could hardly do anything at any time
Their wishes remained unfulfilled
Even though they had earnestly willed
Now on ward I have decided to oblige
Any person with request and seize
The next available opportunity to repay the visit
I now have to give enough weight

Excited to Perform Localized Surgeries
'If my heart could ever fly to you,
To hold yours in your need...
You would not ever have to wait in anticipation.
All of me would be there to enfold your loveliness.
Forever I confess my love for you.
You are the only 'BOO I'd HOO' for! '
He gets more and more sentimental.
I just love him.
He's so silly!
'You are the only 'BOO I'd HOO' for! '
Is different.
WHY he wanted to be President,
Is STILL a mystery to me.
~You know how he loves challenges.
Where is he?
We were all to have breakfast together,
Before our family hike through the woods
This morning.~
He went to visit those wounded.
~He was there shooting pool with the troops,
Just the other day.
He spoils the hospital staff whenever he visits.
He is too concerned about their welfare.
I still think it is disrespectful they call him,
By his first name.~
Don't blame that on them.
That's his doing.
And they are not the wounded he went to visit.
~They're not? ? ?
Well...
Who are the wounded he had to visit,
At this hour of the day? ~
Remember those senators...
The ones who invited him to speak,
At their after party?
You know 'that' party.
The one after his State of the Union speech?
~OH!
Geeessshhh.
That one?
Yes.
I had to turn it off myself.
What in the world were they thinking.
With cameras AND reporters invited too?
That was extremely painful to watch.
Hopefully they will get the picture soon.
Heaven knows, the entire nation did.
Did you actually see him begin to smile?
Especially when he got excited to perform,
Those localized surgeries.
And the agony on their faces?
They had no clue,
His speciality is clinicalized removal.
With stunning precision.
I wanted to embrace them all myself,
When I saw what he was about to do! ~
He is a wonderful teacher as well.
I saw it coming.
I wish I was there to have given them all a hint!
Or told him not to leap up,
So excitedly towards the podium.
A little stroll would have been less intimidating.
Eventually they will get the message.
If he allows them to survive!
One senator compared him to Jimmy Carter.
And he did it sarcastically.
They are going to find out...
My 'BOO' aint no Jimmy Carter!

A Visit To The Taj
The cycle of time never stops,
That has never forgiven anyone,
Moves fast, slow and sometimes hops,
None can claim from it to be won,
The kings or beggar it behaves the same,
Justice, its essence and time its name.
O, the king lying with the queen,
Thou's given a figure to the love,
The lovers and beloveds are keen,
To visit the Taj as pilgrim of love.
Thousands of the people visit at a time,
To pay tribute a to building of ever prime,
Ah! The mosque is empty but I hear,
Silent prayer calls in surrounding of thine,
People are surrounding thee far and near,
They look happy but sad is the heart of mine,
O Yamuna! Beside thee one is seeing another age,
But time is the obstacle to show its visage.

Core and Center of Most Complaints
So many people have tortured themselves,
With beliefs they should not be happy.
With mindsets that have been dictated to accept,
To do for others first...
Before doing first for self.
'Oh it is selfish to think of oneself.'
I once was told.
As I sought happiness to be given to me.
While determining who I should accept it from?
With a list of preferences as to how it should be received.
Oh I was messed up mentally as a child.
I took things to mean what they were literally.
Like 'God don't like ugly'.
I later learned this was a figure of speech.
And I use to think people I thought physically ugly...
Had absolutely no chance to impress God.
I was a child.
And folks were seeking everything possible,
To keep my curiousities controlled.
And...
I wasn't having none of it!
So many people have tortured themselves,
With beliefs they should not be happy.
With mindsets that have been dictated to accept,
To do for others first...
Before doing first for self.
This is what living life has taught me...
If there is no happiness within the self?
Don't expect it from someone else.
And...
If you have insecurities and low self esteem?
Do not accuse someone else,
Of not understanding you and treating you mean.
Those elements have been implanted in your mind.
If you aren't spending the time to undo this crime?
Don't attempt to blame someone else,
Because you have been left willfully victimized.
And tied by circumstances to visualize a lack of dollars.
The core and center of most complaints!

Baby, dont go... Baby, don't go...
Baby, don't go... Baby, don't go...

Can't take the way you're mistreating me

I don't believe I just had my last real kiss
I do believe we'll laugh and reminisce
Wait a minute, don't bounce baby,

Well I'm bouncin' and I'm out son
I gotta leave you alone
'Cause I'm good

I got this thing on lock
So without me you'll be fine - right

All my pride is all I have

Pride is what you had, baby girl I'm what you have

The path you chose to run alone

I know you're independent, you can make it on your own
(Jennifer)
Here with me you had a home, oh yeah...
(LL Cool J)
But time is of the essence, why spend it alone
(Jennifer)
The nights I waited up for you
Promises you made about coming through
So much time you wasted
That's why I had to replace you
(LL Cool J)
It makes a cat nervous, the thought of settling down
Especially me, I was creepin' all over town
Thought my tender touch could lock you down
I knew I had you, as cocky as it sounds
The way you used to giggle right before I put it down
It's better when you're angry, come here I'll prove it now (come here)
(Jennifer)
Stop playing
You gaming
I gotta leave you alone
'Cause I'm good
Holdin' down my spot

Cold and lonely, chill baby, you know me

Instead of beefin', come hold me
I promise I'm not a phony
Don't bounce baby, console me
Come here
(Jennifer)
Ain't nothing you can say to me
That can change my mind
I gotta let you go now
And nothing will ever be the same
So just be on your way
Go head and do your thing now
And there's no more to explain to me, ya know
I know your game, I'm not feeling what you do
So I'm bouncing and I'm out son
I gotta leave you alone
Yeah, yeah...

In These Days of The Takers
Why is it,
That 'some' people...
Can accept hospitality from others.
Wine and dine at their expense.
Yet thoughtless about time that is spent.
And have no regard,
For those who do the hosting?
Or 'show' hints of appreciation.
Why is it,
'Some' people...
Believe it is okay to dropp by unannounce.
Pronounce themselves as being grateful.
And turn around and cuss those out!
Those that had just opened the door to their house?
Even a mouse tries to hide,
From a surprising unexpected appearance.
Showing more 'class' than these folks do!
These chapters lived,
And depicting those who are givers...
Seem to be more common,
In these days of the takers who fake integrity.
In these days of the takers,
Who consume without remorse.
Choose to leave behind disrespect...
And reasons FROM THEM,
Many have chosen to divorce.
And of course,
Those who have been defamed without shame...
Are blamed for not being further used!
With a debasing done by the ones who slander.
In these days of the takers,
Expectations they have are quite high!

Another Wink
Looking out of bed, I slept another wink,
Listening to the speech I delivered the day before.
I went to sleep in that speech,
Twelve people wanted me alive,
And the others saw noon at their shoulders.
A most preposterous time stated the times,
Facts of mere speech decide the outcome -
That deal called life and all of existence.

I'm Taking You Off My Best Friends' List
I'm taking you off my best friends' list.
Yes,
I am.
If I have to put up with your nonsense,
And you don't have time for mine...
I get offended by it.
I don't care if you do have things in your life,
To prioritize.
Or that I might contact you,
At the most inappropriate times.
Or...
You just might like some time to be left alone.
Or...
That I've done the same thing to you,
And my activities you've condone.
So what!
I'm taking you off my best friends' list.
Yes,
I am.
If I have to put up with your nonsense,
And you don't have time for mine...
I get offended by it.
Especially when I have time to sit,
With a wasting of time!
And you have none for me that exist.
I've tolerated your selfishness!
How come this time,
You can not tolerate mine?
I'm taking you off my best friends' list.
Well...
I'm moving you to number 2!
And I could care less how you feel about it!
Hello?
HELLO? ?
I know you did not give me dial tone!

A Door Found For One To Be Left Open
A door found for one to be left open,
Does not mean for them it may close.
To becomed locked.
And the occupant other the other side,
May one day ignore the knocks.
It always pays to respect a hospitality given.
To take it for granted,
Does not mean that hospitality given will stop.
But for that one who takes advantage of another,
A decision will be made to block further entrances.

Miss Nebraska
Met a girl from Nebraska
She was a family Friend
She helped out when shes can
One day that all came end
I took her out for dinner
I bought her favorite skates
We both worked
And had not much time to spend together
We started dating
But one weekend she wanted to go visit her family
On a bus we went
To Lincoln
I never bought the ticket for our way back home
I figure this was a good place to start on our own
Oh how I was so wrong
First thing when we got their she asked if I had any thing against crack
I was not sure how to react
Their went her paycheck and mine
The bank account was to unwind
I was completely out of my mined
Finally I hit broke, with just 200 in my savings
This was an absolute joke
So I left a note, telling her that I loved her but I couldn't do this ever again
With that I hopped on a bus back home
Knowing again I was all alone
So tell miss Nebraska as my family now call you how does it go?
Within this weekend I spent over 1000 dollar for crack addiction, affliction,
She definitely had a sickness.
This was the last time I ever went to Lincoln Nebraska

Louisa, make it a point to visit Ghana;
For the nature is there for you to admire.
Of the Bobiri Forest and Betterfly Sanctuary to visit,
Of the Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary to visit,
Of the Xavi Bird Watching Sanctuary to visit,
Of the Kakum National Park to visit,
Of the Aburi Botanical Gardens to visit,
Of the Bui National Park to visit,
Of the Ankasa Nature Park to visit,
Of the Bonsu Arboretum Park to visit,
Of the Digya National Park to visit,
And to sit under a broom tree with us;
Like a reed shaking in the water of love.
Louisa, make a trip to Ghana and see this lovely place;
For the nature is there for you to admire.
