A Fleeing To Do To Leave
They come in droves to protest any plans,
To have dumping sites for garbage...
Half way houses or rehabilitation centers,
Constructed near or where they live.
And they have taken strong measures,
To ensure this 'outrageousness'...
Done to affect their wholesomeness,
Will not to them be permitted.
They prefer these sites built,
In areas already over crowded...
And inhabited by the ones depressed.
Surpressed by the implementation,
Of the protestors distressing policies.
Even though those protesting in droves,
Are the creators of the trash...
But rather not see!
Although a fleeing to do to leave,
Quickly is a priority.
As a critiquing done to pass judgement continues...
The upholding of their self righteousness.
And advocated by a sympathizing media coverage.

The Ultimate Teenage Love Poem
How dare you dump me just like that...?
before I'd even considered dumping you...
if I'd know you were the dumping kind
i'd've dumped you first.

Those Browbeaters Are Out In Droves
Those browbeaters are out in droves.
With their voices raised high
Proposing to keep,
Fantasies kept about their lives
Free of restrictions
Those browbeaters protest,
With an exposing of their selfishness.
And demand an attention to focus on their needs.
Regardless of the sacrificing done,
Of those historically
Forced to exist to please on bended knees.
Browbeaters like these,
Insist their standards valued should be those
Unopposed by the ones seeking,
To diminish inequities.
The ones with a consciousness
With beliefs that equality benefits humanity.
Those browbeaters are out in droves.
With their voices raised high
Proposing to keep,
Fantasies kept about their lives
Free of restrictions.
But those restrictions must limit
The feeding of greed,
That has depleted with a decreasing
All aspects of the economy.

Midde Kingdom
everybody owns
a middle kingdom
in which one is born king
where one measures
the world and manoevres oneself
ahead of the rest, the race
the flame might waver
flicker to a little light blue
near to petering out
but as soon as the air steadies
it jumps back to show you
how tall you can actually be
if you could hold on to your dream
never giving up come rain or shine
the one middle kingdom
so well guarded no one would
even realise it is there layer by layer
inch by inch constructed
by its one and only king
the rest might be better
work, women or soccer
but this middle kingdom
never once would the sun rise
without his mighty plans

Live your life.
Happiness in focus,
If it means dumping your spouse
To attain it, so be it.
Pleasure in vision,
If it means dumping monogamy
To attain it, so be it.
Carnal desire tempting,
If a woman steals her friend’s husband,
Be it a truth not probed.
Variety in demand,
If a man cheats his friend of his wife,
Be it a truth not deducted.
A dumped one is not
An unfortunate lot in that
Another suitor would come.
Be the dumping decent,
Both splitting with heads high
So that they fetch suitable pairs.

Flawed By Deceptive Appearances
They are well disciplined.
They appear to be happy and healthy.
They are ambitious...
With wishes to enjoy life.
They are determined and respectful.
They have a graciousness,
That appears upon their collective faces.
The cities are clean and progressive.
The infrastructures of them all...
Far exceed expectations.
'Yeah...
But they are socialists.
Deprived of the joys of democratic rule.
Look around!
Who in their right mind,
Would not envy our quality of life?
At least...
That is what I've been told.
And how they live,
Is a 3rd world existence...
Flawed by deceptive appearances.
And it is clear their terrificness has been staged.
Who are they trying to impress?
WE have rehabilitation centers across the land.
With two million people sentenced,
To have their minds restored!
To reflect our great society.
THEY can not top that!
AND they get free cable and meals three times a day!
That's how great and humanitarian we are!
And...
They can NOT top 'that'!
And we, at least...
Can do as we please.
When and where we choose.
In a manner in which WE select!
AND...
Trying to top that,
Brings them much regret.
And I know that to be true...
Because that is what I have been told! '

The handyman
His knowing hands
could hit nails
and lay bricks exactly right
and with his eyes,
he could draw and measure lines
and know exactly
how the plans wanted things.
Developer and businessman
and the best handyman was he
and he took an oath,
that his children
would get higher education.
Wood turned into beautiful objects
under his hands
and tables and chairs
was shaped magically.
He constructed a church without charge
and houses without number,
but a door fell
with a thundering crash
and in his body
some veins were cut
and the medical science
was still too primitive
to help and rescue
a man bleeding internally.
Still his works
exists in places
and one lesson still stays with me,
to do the best
with every thing
on which you lay your hands
and that nothing is too large
to dream about
or to accomplish.

Make Me Whole
My heart is filled with fire
It's shaped just like your name
A dumping ground for love
Burned into ash of shame
Fueled by desire
Mixed with words unsaid
Half of me is broken
The other half is dead
Put out my searing heart
Fix my broken soul
Resurrect my body
Come and make me whole

On Every Level
On every level of consciousness they appear to be crippled.
And on every level this seems to be a preference to keep.
Any reference that suggests a curing of their disabilities,
Becomes immediately resented and considered offensive.
Although they protest and complain,
Vehemently about the standards of their rehabilitation...
To accomodate their most pressing of needs,
They choose to ignore any restoration of their mentalities.
And fight with a biting they do,
The very hands that have come to assist them for decades.
And yet...
They expect to stay at the feast to eat AND be served!

INJECTION SITES 5 May 22 2011
There is a strong possibility that we have gone mentally ill,
Extreme Supreme Court decisions show that we’re going downhill,
An activist group wants drug injection sites everywhere, here and there,
They call it harm reduction for drug addicts, they pompously declare.
The appointed Supreme Court imposed abortion sites years ago,
They may do the same thing with injection sites as we kowtow,
We will have to respect these drug addicts as they come and go,
As they buy their illegal drugs from drug dealers all in a row.
The same appointed Supreme Court gave a holocaust of unborn,
Where those who are involved never show feelings, cry or mourn,
Graphic examples why Supreme Court judges should be elected,
Then maybe the many unborn babies might be protected.

In many ways life is less random than we think. In your past and mine, there have been times when we have, on some lonely trail, constructed a device aimed into our future. Perhaps nothing ever comes along to trigger it. We live through the safe years. But, for some people, something moves on the half-forgotten path, and something arches out of the past and explodes in the here and now.

Of Mice And Men
The fire burns on
and all that drives me on
till all is gone except
the simple plans of mice and men
Back when I was just 17
I thought that I knew everything
I could make it in this scene
To be a rising star that only gleamed
When all the answers disagreed
With the questions held for me
I was legal now at 21
I knew the way the world should run
My God, just look what I had done
Simply drunk and having fun
Looked for friends but I found none
All alone at 21
The fire burns on
and all that drives me on
till all is gone except
the simple plans of mice and men
At 25 I was suprised
That I was even half alive
somehow I managed to survive
I found my bodys' doing time
In my back a hundred knives
All from my friends at 25
And now as Gabriel sounds my warning bell
I'd buy your life if you would sell
and you would too if less compelled
So live your life and live it well
Theres not much left of me to tell
I just got back up each time I fell
The fire burns on
and all that drives me on
till all is gone except
the simple plans of mice and men
The fire burns on
and all that drives me on
till all is gone except
the simple plans of mice and men

A Cipher
I live in the world where the men
Guarded by the guards with weapons,
Having big vehicles and splendid houses,
And enormous balances of the banks,
Though gathered heaped unscrupulously,
Are placed on the pedestal of greatness.
I have nothing, except my astute brain
That tortures me more when I ply with
Its wisdom to untie the knots of life.
I move unheeded in the gatherings,
In slippers with unpretentious dress,
And sometimes with empty pockets too.
I live in a society with the false standards,
Where right is wrong and wrong is right,
Where matters are stagnant or flow upwards,
Where the acts of disgrace are honoured a lot,
Where deranged characters have the authority
To rule; there I am no more than a cipher,
A cipher that sites on the left side of the figure.

Constructed at will
By will constructed
Instructed at will
By will instructed
If anyone knows will whose real name is bill
Can you ask him instructed him
To construct it?
Is he the instructor?
or the metagrobulizing instructor?
And who is he instructing?
And what is it, he is constructing?
If all truth is constructed?
On construction,
What dreams may come....when we have
Shuffled off this
Vast man made construction site
That will, did will construct it?

Y... Garbage Man
Become a garbage man
Every day, just for a minute
Search for some litter
Pick up some garbage
Where ever you can
Don't stoop down.
Not good for the back
Just sit on your heels
Stay squatted and look up
It gives you a special perspective
Pick up a hand full
Walk to the bin
Not the nearest
The walking is exercise
Good for your body
So, become a garbage man
It can give you perspective
It is good for your body
It is good for the world
Just a hand full per day.
-
Note:
Garbage men really deserve ou full respect.
I got the idea to write this piece when I was picking up a handful of garbage from the beach. I thought if there more people picking up garbage than people throwing garbage, littering would no longer be a problem.
I hope in this poem there is nothing disrespectful of garbage men. They really do a great job en deserve our respect as much as doctors and lawyers deserve our respect (as indicated in the comments by unwritten soul below)
