A search

I walk beneath the night sky.
Thoughts arising from gazing at stars are like aimless breeze,
Chasing an emptiness,
Where the world has lost it's horizon.

Time passes by.
The run since birth continues.
Happiness is still an illusion.
The wind is getting stronger around me.
The cloud is stealing the stars.
My mind is becoming stormy ocean.
Restless thoughts search for light in purpose of life.

Nightwalker

I sleep at night
On a cloud high on the horizon
And when I close my eyes
My soul is struck by lightning
Then I sleep at night
Like a storm
Oh, I walk the night
cause your head is gone from my pillow
And when the twilight shines
My eyes crash through the windows
cause I sleep at night without you
When its dark and the night lays me down
When the moon shines the light on the ground
I just run where my thoughts take me to
cause I cant live in this world
Without love without you
I walk the night
I walk the night
Oh, I dream at night
It must be a madmans rainbow that Im chasing
cause when I close my eyes
I feel your sweet sensation
cause I dream at night about you
When its dark and the night lays me down
When the moon shines the light on my ground
I just run where my thoughts take me to
cause I cant live in this world
Without love without you
I walk the night
I walk the night
I just run where my thoughts take me to
cause I cant live in this world
Without love without you
I walk the night
I walk the night

Your Voice

I stood for the longest time,
staring out at the night,
taking in the way the moon
burns in the blackness.
I felt the warmth of the
summer breeze against my body,
as thoughts of you washed over me.
And I wondered how your mere voice
could move me more than the stars
and how thoughts of you
could touch me like a warm wind.
I want us to be like the
brightest stars in the sky,
our light moving over each other
and spinning out some magic
in the darkness.
And I want to keep this
wonderful spark of life
that I feel every time
I hear your voice.

Candle of Hope

Candle of Hope

Lost within space and time,
I am running, as I am
Following the stars before me-

Inside of my mind,
All I can see are moments of madness.
My hair, blowing in the wind, behind me, as I
Dash away from all that I fear,

My thoughts are far away from
Every moment in time,
As I am searching for a ray of hope to hold onto as
None of my dreams have ever
Come true-

If I could light a candle,
Perhaps its flame would guide me towards a miracle-
A miracle of my most promising fantasies becoming reality-
Where the darkness of night
Would transform to the levity of daybreak at sunrise-

I am lost in space and time, where
My world continues to darken-
Life has always been a bizarre journey for me where
Hope has yet to be found-

It is the stars that have given me an increment of light,
Illuminating a pathway before me, to give me
Some small hope that I would awaken
In some other world where
Love, fortune and peace of mind would
Overshadow mistrust and sadness-

I whisper in thought, somewhere in the back of my mind-
Light me a candle with a flame so bright,
That will break through dark clouds of doubt-
Whereby I would be running forward in time,
Finding wealth, joy, and hope never ending
As the flame on that candle
Would burn for an eternity
Only to guide me forward, not backward,
Leaving that life of misfortune behind me-

Outside My Picture Window

It has been said that there is a world outside my picture window and
Beyond the trees I see everyday and the sky, sometimes overcast and
Other days, when the sun rises early- I can see the sky and have often wondered if
There exists another world within our universe- I know that
There exists a world inside of my mind and
My pupils are the windows into which
People would look if I were to venture outward?
Beyond the sky, and beyond the sun-
Beyond that world inside my mind,
I would never know where there exists a place for me-
Last night outside of my window
I could see the stars- stars mean different things to different people as
Does the sun, the trees and this whole world outside-
The world inside my mind revolves about
The sun that shines upon my own horizon and
As for this world outside, all I can do is look- and to
See a tree, perhaps a single cloud and the grass that grows-
I have shut my mind to the people who live beyond
The trees, clouds and the grass that I can see-
That window opens to the world inside of my thoughts-
I have just shut and pulled the curtain to discourage all intruders-
I am lying by my window in total darkness now as I place my hand over my eyes,
Shutting out reality and now I can see mountains, flowering trees and
A creek flowing in which I can see my reflection and
I am running upon the grass that grows beneath my feet-
I believe I heard music playing inside the fortress of my mind-
It has been said there is a world outside and I have pulled the curtain
To the window once opened to veracity-
Darkness has never looked as beautiful as I am safe here in my solitude-
Even when the stars are shining and the sky is such a magnificent sight to see-
No place is as exquisite as the creek that runs through my inner space and
The sun inside the world of my thoughts that shines upon my horizon?
The stars are far away and all that is real, though just outside my picture window
I perceive as too far away for me to reach- I would touch the stars and I could be a dove
That can lift my wings and fly away from all that threatens, but only inside my dreams-
Children sing songs and read fairy tales and they believe and I believe that
The sun shines light upon their worlds and
Someday their dreams shall blossom as has mine and shall become their homes-
Home is the safe place inside a person's mind, not within the madding crowd that
Exists outside my picture window- even if the stars are always there- and
That unique and special sun shall just keep on shining upon the world of my dreams….

My Walking Thoughts

In my long search for what my hearts longs for,
The wind did saw me and my agony,
Flooded with tears of something not found,
In this incompletion of my life,
So shall my heart look to the stars,
The hope that nature will do wonders,
My walking thoughts keep the search

Im haunted by the memories every night,
My sheets become so cold,
In that shivering moment Im at unrest,
Outside the window are unusual winds,
I know where im at peace,
My thoughts searched and found none,
Walking and walking, remain my thoughts

Walking up and down are my thoughts,
So unfocused like the phantoms,
Searching your presence my love,
Which I know is ever absent
My despair extends my pain,
My walking thoughts so futile,
Searching but to no avail,
Such is my love, seeking yours

The Healing Wind

In this healing wind
all our scars of the
past are blown away,
torn away and scattered
around the earth,
and all our demons are
lifted and carried off
in the vortex of
the wind funnel
till there is nothing
left but these rocks
and the ocean,
and our hearts feel
at peace once more,
as our eyes
scan the distant horizon,
where the ocean
meets the night sky,
where the moon
hangs low, casting
its tremulous glow
upon the water.

In this healing wind
all our thoughts
are scattered in the
silent multitude of stars
that shine upon us
like new blossoms…
yes, I know we've been
through a lot
all these years,
and the loneliness
and the pain
seemed unbearable
at times,
but you don't have
to say a thing to me
right now,
because the healing wind
turned it all around,
gave us new hope
and new purpose
and new sails-
and breathing in
this cool night air,
we feel renewed
and alive again,
as we return
to what we always
knew as our home,
resting upon these
rocks, as the ocean
waves gently baptize
our feet.

Until The Last Day

In real life
Everyday we graduate
Until the last day....
So expand your field of happiness
And don't walk away from life
And know life is a lot more fun
When we share good things with others

So renew your soul
And expand your horizon
And follow the light
When the sun comes up
And make time to meditate and pray
And watch your thoughts and emotion
And generate happiness
To light up your surroundings
In the world around you.......

Nightfly

Refrain:
Nightfly I want you, your living for the light
All dressed in leather, chasing the stars at night
Nightfly I want you, your living for the light
All dressed in leather, chasing the stars at night
Vers:
They're smilling at you when you enter the door
Knowing to well how it used to end
They smile at you, it is a deadly smile
Now you're inside and you know your steps
Knowing how to trap a good man in your spidernet
He'll pay the rest of his life
Old men sitting smoking fine cigars
Looking at you when you move your hips
You lose a bate, all they need is love
You're searching for a life with the stars at night
Flashing for you will they start fight over you
Who'll be your price tonight
Bridge:
And the night is full of passion here I am
Now the day turn into Darkness once again
Midpart:
I'm curious bout what you're living for
You're burning your wings in your search
For light you sleep all day
A fascinating life

Peace Prayer

Leafy turtle green aviary tapestries
lotus bowing mantis branches
hovering meditative hugs
pherochimerical language
spoken by the wind
cloud melting mental magic

cool cavernous catalpa shade
songs soaking in the sun
high life, taking it easy
catching lightning bugs
chasing fireflies

time running marathon distances
every moment measured in palpitations
old familiar blue, never the same as it was yesterday
one with the world, together in a state of constant change,

life nestles in a womb of love
creation continuously giving birth to itself
beneath the sun moon and stars
breathing bodies and beating hearts
thoughts unwind all is calm in the mind

peace, a piece of which, be all any noble
being ever aspires to obtain
Inner Outer Worldly Universal Mind Body Soul
peace in life, peace in death,

peace in the work of waking hours
peace in sleep, peace at rest,
peace in nature, peace at home

peace on the streets, peace on the farm,
peace between brothers, peace with god,
peace with self, peace with what's beyond control
peace in love, peace in light

It Didn't Matter

It didn’t matter if the moon was full last night, and that I did not count the stars-
Or that the birds were singing upon early morning awakening,
Forty or some odd years ago- or perhaps even before then-
A full moon evoked fantasies of fortune, mystery and desire to know
What existed beyond my own back yard-
Stars were a million light years away and
Brought to mind none but curiosity and fascination-
I never knew why birds sang and hardly cared- as
Their songs were hymns of enchantment,
In tune with love of nature at the rising of the sun -
The dawning of a new day was reason for celebration.
I do not know if the moon was full last night
The sun could rise this morning and
This world could cease to exist-I am lost inside a world of my own
Where I live inside the fortress of my thoughts,
Spoken words echo about my mind and
Inundate with fear, rage and terror-here inside the tenement of my delusions
I have been commanded by voices echoing about the chambers of my mind
To lock the door to actuality, and to toss its key to the wind outside-
The songs of the sparrows have evaded me and
I no longer care to witness the rising of the sun, or
The dawning of a new day, and have become quite a stranger to myself-
It doesn’t matter if the moon was full last night
And not only the stars are a million light years away- as seemingly are
Hopes and dreams for a promising future I had as a child-
I stare upward towards the ceiling counting
The stars that are a figment of my imagination-
Inside the world of my thoughts, dreams and apparitions
I am being inundated by a phantasmal though provocative meteor shower, and
Trapped inside hell’s brushfire that no rainstorm can extinguish;
It has been said that dancing beneath the full moon can bring about loss of sanity-
Hiding inside the safe haven of my fondest dreams
I could be found wishing upon one of those stars
Some millions of light years away-
While I have become a lost soul with no destiny-
Dancing beneath that fickle light of the moon, mistrustful of all intruders, I could be-
Hell’s brushfire has burnt down the bridge that connects veracity to unreality-
Even though it may always remain in question
To whether or not the moon has remained full past midnight as would be hidden behind
Clouds of apprehension, I can still
Wish upon those stars after the day the sun burns out-and perhaps some day
I may find hope, peace of mind and fortune as near as within my own back yard…

What is the cloud to the sun?

For what is the cloud to the sun,
It is nothing. The wind has always
Driven it away and the sun does not
Care. For want of love and care, the
Cloud plays with the fields and the
River and the sea. Impregnated it
Has conceived, and gives
Birth to the rain. The fields and the
Sea and the rivers feasted. The fields
Grow the grass and the flowers.
The sea and the rivers have
Seeded its waters with more fish.
The cloud does not like it. It has
Always dreamt of the sun but the
Wind has always blown it away.
At night the cloud talks to the moon.
And seeing the likeness of its light
To the sun that it loves, the cloud
Makes love with the shining moon.
It has given birth to the stars.
The following morning, the cloud
Is exhausted. It floats with the
Chastisements of the wind. There
Is no more direction. It still dreams
Of the sun. It dies and becomes
Taken as part of the wind. The
Cloud has become a white, clear
Sky. It is nothing. It is what you
See, when love is unrequited.

Lost In The Stars

(kurt weill/maxwell anderson)
Before lord God made the sea and the land
He held all the stars in the palm of his hand
And they ran through his fingers like grains of sand
And one little star fall alone
Then the lord God hunted through the wild night air
For the little dark star in the wind down there
And he stated and promised hed take special care
So it wouldnt get lost again
Now, man dont mind if the stars grow dim
And the clouds blow over and darken him
So long as the lord gods watching over him
Keeping track how it all goes on
But Ive been walking through the night and the day
Till my eyes get weary and my hair turns grey
And sometimes it seems maybe gods gone away
Forgetting the promise that we heard him say
And were lost out here in the stars
Little stars, big stars
Blowing through the night
And were lost out here in the stars
Little stars, big stars
Blowing through the night
And were lost out here in the stars

I Reached Your Heart At The Horizon

You are my sun, i am your moon,
You made my life bright when i needed it so much,
I 'll always be in the night to light up your dreams,
And to wake you up with my kiss, in the morning at the horizon.

I am far away from you,
I am sailing with the stars in the sky,
Let me be your night in your day,
Let my love sunrises and sunsets with you.

I am sunk in the sea of your eyes,
Your thoughts took me far away,
I reached your heart at the horizon,
And there i'll whisper to you my love.

Palace in the Sky

Forever lost inside my own world-never to come out of hiding
I am building palaces in the sky though I can only see the stars.
I can only see the stars, and
The quarter moon's light shining dimly upon the horizon
Casting its shadows upon the places of my dreams-
How I wish to escape the misfortunes of life upon this planet and
Make my home inside a palace somewhere in the sky.
I had built a million palaces, so it seems-
Every day and every night, I find myself rapidly losing my grasp upon
What is real and what is not- I am running a marathon toward someplace
Between the land where grasses and flowers grow and the
Trees, from the ground reaching upward to touch the clouds,
I can feel the gentleness of the late spring's breeze
Blowing against my cheeks, damp from tears that have I have cried, as
This world has not been kind to me.
People are heartless, and only laugh when I am weeping,
Looking into my eyes reading my thoughts, and
Ridiculing me as I converse with the voices inside of my mind,
Which have become my only consoling realities while inside this world of my fantasies,
I have become a dove with broken wings-which with deep gratefulness can still fly.
Lost inside some sort of trance, I am building palaces in the sky.
Placid breezes rustle the leaves upon the trees, almost making music-
Creating tunes about nature, peace of mind and are never threatening-
However, I know that one day these trees will all be cut down to fabricate homes
For thousands of people- people who have no heart or no spirit of patience or kindness
So I know that I must continue building my palaces in the sky.
Summer storms shall rip across the sky and I know I must use all my strength
To stay alive so I may lift my broken wings to find a palace which I have built-
The quarter moon is casting its light upon the world and about the sky-
I am glancing repeatedly towards the sky searching for my palace, my home-
Flying bravely about to the best of my ability, on
My endless search for freedom and safety, praying to a God I am not certain that exists-
My hope is to see my golden palace glistening beneath the light of the quarter moon,
All I can see are the stars- what lurks behind those stars I may never know,
But I shall continue to fight the clouds and build my palaces, my castles.
May the stars illuminate the darkness and guide me towards some redeeming veracity,
Even if I never find my palace- in the meantime I shall keep on
Looking upward and forward and even if my dreams never do come true-
I know I can always continue to travel about the sky and I know that
I shall forever behold the splendor of the moon and always count upon the stars
To elucidate the direction upon which I travel and for always be my guiding lights…

Entering Fall - Leaving Depressed

deep darkness
enters beyond the moonlit sky
stars gazing bright
fills the night

zodiacs perch among the atmosphere
a cool fall breeze
chills the night

creepy thoughts
near as halloween is
just around the corner
little goblins and ghouls
search for costumes at a five and dime

smashing pumpkins spew
among the country roads
black cats crossing paths
of a barking hound

ambulance heard from a distance
young lovers beneath bleachers
take a chance at bliss
yearning for a sweet kiss

all is well among the peoples society
though millions of miles away
planets gather for an end to
this worlds' misery

Confusion

Waiting for the unknown,
Struggling with my composure.
Why am I so anxious?
Why am I so restless?

What am I waiting for?
What is it that I look for?
When I'm lost deep in my thoughts,
Oblivious to the outside world.

Lost in myself,
I am idle.
On the surface I appear thoughtful
But inside, my thoughts churning in confusion.

I try to think,
But cannot.
Does happiness elude me?
Or do I elude happiness?

To A Godson

(With an album containing portraits of all those who at the time of
his birth were leaders in the intellectual and political world.)

Here hast thou before thee that constellation
Whereunder was born thy light;
These stars in the vault of high thoughts' mutation
Will fashion thy life with might.
Their prophecy, little one, we cannot know,
They light up the way that, unknown, thou shalt go
And kindle the thoughts that within shall glow.
Thou first shalt them gather,
Then choose thine own,-
So canst thou the rather
Grope on alone.

Happiness is a pair of away stars

Happiness is a pair of away stars -
for those who stare behind bars.
When I decided to fly away free -
I was a shadow of a cypress tree.

Retention of nothingness, to edge
my honor lonely, a pointy wedge,
red spilled wine, in dark accord,
poem white - chalk on black board.

And there memories, now abstruse,
on aimless wander, one to peruse,
when thoughts became, a void loss,
dusk crossed lines, life to emboss.

My lovely melodies of a nightingale
modes diatonic, propose and fail,
a smile of marble, thinking benign,
extension of solitude, aimless sign.

Happiness is a pair of away stars
for those who stare behind bars;
When I decided to fly away free -
I was a shadow of a cypress tree.

Happiness, Happiness, You are that happiness!

Happiness, happiness,
is it everywhere?
The mirage that life shows,
That runs away and laughs somewhere,
On those run after it,
Soiling hands by toiling with trifles,
Hoping for catching flying birds,
Letting those in their hands!

And that hope make it happen,
Faith that makes all the difference,
only a step at time can make it possible,
Possible, that were looking impossible
Happiness is not in running for some thing great,
When one learn nothing is great,
It will be too late to be happy!
The colourful stars not give us anything,
wonderfull clouds may not give us anything,
Colourful singing birds,
Colourful fragment flowers,
Or trees with full of fruits,
Green mountains and mountain dews,
nothing they give than that strange impulses!

Some flickering thoughts makes us happy,
And some thoughts, selfish and ego centred,
Such thoughts and actions when click!

All that happiness is untrue,
It is a curse in disguise,
But sometime sorrow that brings out the best of one,
And sorrow is blessing in disguise!

Delusion of ego throws in illusion,
Most of us are schizophrenic,
And ignorant, about happiness,
Tree if swing to wind may break or fall!

Either we should be elastic, and we should be rigid,
Yet happiness is neither earned,
Happiness is not gained,
Yet can be lost easily
Paradise is neither can be gained nor attained,
Yet easily can be lost and slip into hell!

Soul is that in paradise and happiness reside,
Soul is that in which all sorrow and hell too reside,
Self is that abode of one where no hell or no paradise lies,
But Self is paradise of paradise,
The supreme paradise is that SELF
out of reach of all paradoxes
Parity
and beyond all parodies!

Happiness is your another name,
As god is your another name,
Your name and shape
is painted on that colourless,
Vacuum,
Which is the source of all happiness.
All life and your dreams!
Look at yourself, thy nature is happiness,
And you can only make all happy,
You art that, who can be all the time happy
What ever happen anywhere,
You are that,
You are that bring all happiness,
All, all, all happiness to all!

Keep Shining

Heaven and earth will not change places
Birth and death will not change time
But time will leave its mark on faces
And the stars will bravely shine.

Life and dreams will not be hollow
The thing that's lost, yet we will find
We will not stray if we but follow
Close to the stars that bravely shine.

A man will learn to search inside him
For what, at birth, was left behind
All his days, his own heart to guide him-
Within, without, the brave stars shine.
