People Go A Bit Mad İn The Summer

Where I live is a bit rough
it's got a bit of a reputation
youths hang around at night
looking for trouble and a fight.
But it's really bad in the Summer
lots of folk walk about half drunk
music blasts around the square
but the Police don't seem to care.
Overweight people half naked
bodies as red as Lobsters
children running wild and free
this is where I live in Coventry.
But you get used to it after a while
better the Devil you know so to speak
but I think is this the same everywhere
and is the grass greener over there?
Still there's good people in this place
neighbours who look after each other
people who have still got their pride
because we all can't live in the countryside.
But the Sun does something around here
humans do tend to go a bit nuts
so roll on those dark cold nights
when it's too cold for kids and fights!

Living With Yourself

How do you live with yourself
When you are walking down the street
How do you live with yourself
When you tell lies to the people that you meet.
Don't you know that's it's not loyalty
When you go from one man to another
Don't you think that it's also disrespectful
When you tell others that you are a good mother.
You have cheated on all of your husbands
And also your boyfriends when you begged for help
Honestly how can you believe you done nothing wrong
Tell me again, how can you live with yourself.
Don't you know that it is a mortal sin
To live a life the way that you do
Telling your children that you done no wrong
Do you really want them to respect or be like you.
You live as a user and an adulterous
While others say you live a life as a tramp and a whore
And you have your children watching you sin
How can you live with yourself any more.
Are you happy with the deeds you have done
Even with the ones you have done many times before
Are you not tired of lying and making up stories
Dont you understand why with people you they ignore.
You still put on your act with people that you meet
You will not tell them the truth about yourself
If they knew too the evil and sin you commited
They would also tell you that you are going to hell.
So close your conscience and live your lie
And act like you care for others and them you want to help
But all you care is for yourself and only you
And ask GOD please, how can you live with yourself.

Some people say I'm no good
laying in my bed all day
but when the night times comes I'm ready to rock
and roll my troubles away
I don't care if the sun don't shine
I know I'm gonna see it trough

I'm gonna live for the music
give it everything you got
live for the music you know you're gonna find a lot
to ease my mind
now you may say I'm a mean mistreater
say I never treat you right

I Don't Care

I don't care where I live my life
As long as I have you,
I don't care where my home is
As long as there is us two,
I don't care if we live in a house
Or in a mansion, or even a cave,
I just want you at my side
Where together, forever we will stay,
I don't care to count out my money
Every nickel, penny, quarter or dime,
I don't care to spend all of our money
On our place that is yours and mine,
I don't care if the nights are cold
At the place that we will call home.
I don't care if the days are hot
As long as I have you and I am not alone,
I don't care what country we are in
Or where finally we will lay our roots,
I don't care what language me might speak
As long as I can still say I love you,
I don't care where I sleep at night
Whether it be a hut, or cabin, tent or igloo,
I don't care where I wake up in the morning
As long as I wake up next to you,
I don't care if we have one room
At the place that we will spend our life,
I don't care what people might ever say
All I care is to have you as my wife.

The Grass Is Greener

The grass is greener so they say.
We venture to another lawn.
We still don't water and care for that grass.
That grass will be gone.

We focus on what we do not have.
Rather than what we do.
A crazy cycle of wanting more.
A jaded point of view.

Keeping up with the Joneses
A mad and thankless place.
Never stopping to smell the roses.
Running an endless race.

Life passes you by, then it's taken from you.
By a thief walking in the night.
Our wants they steal from all our needs.
Your life's a script you can't rewrite.

So value all it is that you have.
For you truly have been blessed.
Live a life that's full and abundant.
Live a life that is your best.

Grass is greener where it's watered.
With much love and with much care.
If home is where your heart is.
Put your love and your time there.

For the people Of Palestine

In a holy land, with a strange feeling
A strange and calm feeling that comes from the heart of people
People who live pure, people who are valuable and kind
People who are great and faithful, men and women with beautiful minds

Their sky was calm a day, it was full of white pigeons
Pigeons which were the messengers of peace
A blue sky that was above a golden place
A place that was full of happy face

Green lands and greener islands with warm sunny farms
Happy people who don't think about a simple fight
Streets full of cheerful children and cars
But the time brings an unfair war

Some people think power can take everything from poor people
But it never can conquer the faith
Faith will destroy every satanic thing
It can bring bad things down, even the powerful kings

Farms destroyed under the boots of soldiers
They close their eyes and burst fire on the poor and innocent children of Palestine
Their laugh destroy that empty sky
Satanic plans those we know all are a lie! ! !

Power Vs Faith
Guns Vs Stones
Bullets Vs people
And Blood on the feeble

When a pure stone flies, a bullet tears the sky to hit for the answer
And then a heart that once was for a human stop beating
The truth is being hiding in our world
We should help the people of Palestine, not with our words! !

Where are the humans right protectors?
Where are the people who are loyal to humanities criteria?
Where are the humans to see a family that sleep with fear?
Where is a person to clean the children tears?

We have a ceiling to sleep in peace under it
We have security, we live in peace
But there…, suddenly the roof of a house will fall down
When they think they are sleeping in peace, they buried in the dawn

In the Name of Humanity, don't be silent
See the truth; see the pure bodies those just fell down
See the tears of mothers those live in stress
See the great unfair condition, see the real mess!

For the people of Palestine
People who live in a cruel situation
For the people of Palestine,
People who their rights are taken, , people with no sin!

I Know People

I know people who help you through the night.
And I know people who
fight that very good fight.
And, I know people who're goin for the gold.
And, I know people got them aces so you better fold.
I know people who are quick to light your cigarette.
And, I know people who say 'Buddy, ya ain't seen nothin yet.'
I know people who're workin harder every day.
And I know people who got kids come out to play.
I know people, you know people, said, I'm not so different from you.
Won't you be one of my people who

are cruisin up and down the track, and

if Only

'IF ONLY'

If only this world was perfect, perfect in every way.
If only people could live their lives in perfect harmony,
If only there were no wars, and worries and woes and strife,
If only people had no ailments, and were healthy in every way,
If only everybody was happy every single day,
If only there were no homeless folk shivering in the cold,
If only the streets were literally paved with gold,
If only old people didnt suffer when its cold,
If only there was no racism, and people of all types could get on,
If only there was employment for each and everyone,
If only no hearts were broken and each was happy with their lot,
If only their were no evil people who seemed to have lost the plot,
If only everybody in pain it would go so far away,
If only little children were not harmed in any way,

This Is Who I am

sometimes i feel so happy,
sometimes i am kind of sad,
at times i hang by a thread,
somtimes i am soaked glad,
sometimes i feel like i'm outrageous,
sometimes i think 'am i really mad'?
sometimes i feel like a writer,
but at times the stuff i write seems so bad,

but i really don't care, i swear,
this is the way i am,
i live the way i want to,
and this is who i am,

sometimes lots of friends surge towards me,
sometimes m not even able 2 catch up wid 2 or 3,
sometimes m havin the best dayz of my life,
but sometimes pain swells inside me,
then i cannot fight free,
people usually marvel at my looks,

Stay At Home

Outside these, four walls lies, anarchy babe
Unnatural acts and sights abound
Glass glaring, eyes staring, young pairing, maybe
What does the world care if Im not around
Cos, I think Id rather stay at home
With people I know
I could watch the whole thing on tv
And the neighbours never know
The bright lights, are like traps, for the unwary
You need a guard just to walk at night
Fights flaring, bombs scaring, pants tearing, maybe
How can you say it will be alright
