Day's Of Summer
The scented air of summers breath, the warming summer sun
The tree-top call from Nightingale says Spring is on the run
The cattle graze at snails pace the sheep are being shorn
The cat has found the perfect place lay flat-out on the lawn
The background air is filled with noise, a tune the insects play
The crickets dance their noisy tune as they go on their way
The shimmer of the warming fields play tricks upon the eyes
The land it seems to dance and leap towards the very skies

The aching in my heart
Like sweetest kiss of scent
From love's bouquet.
As I fly into summer sky of blue
Wearing robes of cloud
And the touch of you.

It's so cold
Nipping at my fingers.
I bleed icicles
People fall from bicycles
In disbelief.
The wind howls
A dog growls
In the backyard
Of loneliness
- The thief.

Night’s Love Affair
A wisp of smoke from a crackling flame
signals a warming atmosphere
as two hearts smoulder
within the warmth of a summer night.
Sparks bust like fireworks
within their kisses of fire
embraced under a silver moon
heats this love affair.
The world is held with baited breath
to see what happens there.
The cocoon of falling shadows
cloaks any prying eyes
from their love affair.
There is a hush as darkness falls
as their time draws near
and with parting kisses
their night’s love affair end there.

I stand before you with my mind open wide
Waiting to receive whatever will be
The world the eyes survey is not the only world
For deep within the soul can be found all things
Like the shape of sound, the shape of wind
Like the shape of things when they first begin
How could I stop what I had to start

A sunlit bouquet

By a promise of blue moon.
