Stardust
Our hearts rule our heads
when it comes to love,
often we leap before we look
and many times disaster occurs
when we are blinded by
the stardust in our eyes.
We see things we want to see
and not what is really there,
we walk the tightrope of love
rushing head long without a care
and get blinded to reality

Partings are always sad
having to let love go,

My Mind, In Blinding Light
Waits, waits, in a silence that is heavy as pearls.
Waits for the lines and lanes of destiny to redefine
And refine; when the refined mind
Silently doubles and doubletalks itself out of rational thought;
Waits for the light to go, to disperse itself after the gloom
When the eyes can refocus and see
The difference between can and would be.
