Mother's Day
No Mother's Day card this year
Mine is no longer here
Heaven is now her abode
And i can't remember the post code
No chocs tagged with last minute thoughts
Or life saving flowers from Garage forecourts
So Mother's Day is cancelled then
Bar the odd million or even ten.
So washers of dishes and breakfast maker
And kids who with trays at 6am wake her
Never forget days with her are so dear
So far away when she once was so near.
Yet she came in my dream
Still wore that red coat
With a glass of Emva Cream and a handwritten note
It said ''Son, don't be sad, now i have no fear.
It's my best Mother's Day, love
Wish you were here.

If You Forget Me
If you forget me
Who ever you are?
It will mean nothing to me
Who will go on living
Having forgotten the purpose
To a life
That drags heavy footed
Through grey streets
If you forget me
Just remember,
I have already forgotten
You,
And if you remember this,
Please remind me,
So that I will stop posting you
A christmas card
Whoever you are,
We who are strangers
Who go on living
Because we have forgotten
The pointlessness to our lives
Or why we wear sensible shoes
At a certain age
Or why some eat cereal
While others go empty into the morning
Why where how?
If you forget me
Remember to remind me that,
I have already forgotten you
Then I promise to stop sending you a christmas card
Or wishing you a happy new year
And if I have forgotten that you who are living
Have died and are now dead,
Then forgive me for sending you all those post cards
Without a return to sender
I may have simply forgotten to read the small print
On the invite card
Or maybe it rained
or I had a cold
Or was too busy forgetting the day of the week
And the pointlessness to my existence
Which when forgotten
Along with you, my friend,
Is less bleak
Infact it is quite pleasant
Okay
So let's just forget the whole miserable affair, okay?

Oh! Natural Beauties!
Earth laughs in flowers, flowers laugh in showers,
Sea laughs in fishes, fishes laugh in waters ……
Sky laughs in clouds, clouds laugh in rain, oh sire!
But man laughs in BSNL Towers and what a satire!
Nature is a wonderland; it is heaven's abode with elixir,
Thus, I wonder at this nature’s splendor!
In the garden with heaven’s flowers
Oh nature’s gifts! You are funny little fellows!
Oh natural beauties, you are dainty little dears!
Come! Come near me, Do you hear me, my little fellows!
Nature is a wonderland; it is heaven's abode with elixir,
Thus, I wonder at this nature’s splendor!
The woods are full of faeries!
As The trees are the lovers........
The garden is full of angels without worries!
As the flowers are the lovers.........
Nature is a wonderland; it is heaven's abode with elixir,
Thus, I wonder at this nature’s splendor!
Nature is admirable and inspirable........
Nature instills hope and enlightens us all days;
Being thus prepared for us in all ways with......
Good for food and made our life desirable;
Nature is a wonderland; it is heaven's abode with elixir,
Thus, I wonder at this nature’s splendor!
Let me hire satire! Let me fire human ire

A Anonymous Valentine
A Valentine for You
Charles Garcia
Another year has passed,
My secret I can no longer hide,
I send this card of love,
Hopefully you’ll understand.
Year after year swiftly passes by.
I sent you, anonymously, a valentine.
Although I know you were never mine.
You belong to someone else, that’s fine,
I wait my time to say
I love you:
You are mine: you are forever
My Valentine

Mother
Mother 'o' mother of mine,
Who will forget thee...
Earth and heaven enfused in thee,
Ye suffered with shaping pine.
Mother 'o' mother of mine...
Thy love, bliss from heaven,
Thy words, a calm breeze
Ye the morning sun shine.....
Mother 'o' mother of mine,
Holiest among holy ye be
Magical music thy lullby
Thy lap was my cushion fine
Thankless to her, a supine
Mother 'o' mother of mine,
Who will forget thee...

On Not Sending Christmas Cards
Dear Friends –
for friends you are, and friends
you will remain –
I’m not sending any cards this year –
so of course, I do not deserve to receive any,
by the human law of tit for tat…
So if you’re sending me a card
because you sent me one last year
and think I’ll notice if you don’t -
don’t bother.
If you’re sending me a card
just because I sent you one last year-
I don’t want it. Just don’t bother..
If you’re sending me a card
because we haven’t seen each other all the year,
maybe we should arrange to meet? Or
maybe we simply haven’t anything more
to say to each other?
Maybe we’re happier leaving it that way?
Don’t bother with a card..
If you're sending me a card
because - it's part of Chrismas fun -
and open hearts, and memories -
then, bless us every one...
If you’re sending me a card
because you never sent one before
and feel the urge – I’ll be delighted;
and if you don’t get one in return –
rest assured, that I’ll remember, and
we’ll probably soon meet;
and know: you have enrolled yourself
as my friend, anyway,
by that warming thought..
If you’re sending me a card
because you have me so deep
implanted in your heart
that your love for me is beyond a printed word –
then that’s the way that I reciprocate your love,
how could I not? Just don’t expect mere words –
though there’s a chance
a poem may wing its way one day
as whitest swans and downy doves
know in the air and space above
their heart’s true home..
for, if ever, for however short a time
you were my friend, or I to you – you are that
always. Always. This
is what the heart is for.

One Year In Heaven
One year in heaven,
One year you've been there,
So far away,
Someday I'll see you in the air,
One year in heaven,
I miss you so much,
Smile down upon me,
And show me your love.
One year in heaven,
It seems like so long,
Since the last time I saw you,
And then you were gone,
One year in heaven,
You left earth to soon,
But I know they need you,
More then I do,
One year in heaven,
I'm alone on the earth,
I miss your sweet kisses,
And all that you're worth,
One year in heaven,
Is God really there?
Why did he take you,
As I cried in despair.
One year in heaven,
I still see your face,
The day that you took,
The last breath you would take,
One year in heaven,
Why did you die,
I know God needed you,
But still I cry.
One year in heaven,
Soon I'll be there,
So wait by the gate,
Please, this do swear,
One year in heaven,
To me it is long,
But you have no pain,
From this earth you have gone.
One year in heaven,
It's so hard to move on,
I'll send you a prayer,
And sing you a song,
One year in heaven,
Life's not the same,
Since you left this world,
I'm living in a daze.
One year in heaven,
You watch from above,
Sit there and smile,
And send me your love,
One year in heaven,
You may think it's just a day,
But this world is so different,
Since God took you away

Mother o' Mine
If I were hanged on the highest hill,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!
I know whose love would follow me still,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!
If I were drowned in the deepest sea,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!
I know whose tears would come down to me,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!
If I were damned of body and soul,
I know whose prayers would make me whole,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!

How far to the next garage
Just as I stopped at a garage today
the car’s engine died,
as it was running
with the yellow light burning
and the last gasoline was gone.
I had no cash on me
and there was no card machine
and the auto bank
at the shop was broken
and I was told,
about an auto bank at the next garage.
I started walking
and found a black man
along the way.
How far to the next
garage I asked
and he replied,
just on the other side
of the bridge.
On the other side
of the bridge,
there was one more bridge
and on the other side
of it,
no garage could be seen
for two kilometres or more.
So I wondered while I walked along
with a plastic can in my hand
that if he really didn’t know
why did he lie,
or was the man
too afraid to be seen
as a fool
while the biggest fool
was I?

All About Money
nothing comes free..here
everything is tagged
excepting life...strange
life given to us not tagged
the days and nights given
are not tagged even
even then....
day in and day out
i am all out
searching ways and means
to make my money...
i do not pay any money
for the sun and breeze
god in nature an absolute giver
praying for wealth and prosperity
praying for money...money..and more money...to god
i feel will get us not even a penny
GOD DOES NOT KNOW OUR MONEY
when you send your kid on a trip away
you will give him money to spend on the way
we were sent here without a penny
when i return as dead stock one day
worldly wise kith and kin of my
send me with a penny on my forehead
just a penny?
is that what i was worth...or
is that the way fare to hell or heaven
just a penny?

Please Mister Postman
Wait, oh yes wait a minute mister postman
Wait, wait mister postman
Mister postman look and see
You got a letter in your bag for me
I been waiting such a long time
Since i heard from that girl of mine
There must be some word today
From my girlfriend so far away
Please mister postman look and see
If there's a letter, a letter for me
I been standing here waiting mister postman
So patiently
For just a card or just a letter
Saying she's returning home to me
So many days you passed me by
See the tear standing in my eye
You didn't stop to make me feel better
By leaving me a card or a letter
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta check it and see, one more time for me
Wait
Wait
Wait
Deliver the letter, the sooner the better
Wait

10/31/2007 Command Post Controller
I work in the command post,
You wouldn’t know there everywhere from coast to coast.
We work while everyone else is wake and sleeping,
We do things that help our nations safe keeping.
No one understands the command post because,
No one fully grasps what the command post does.
Know this though,
Controllers are at work even in the snow.
Holidays we are still here,
24-7 every day of the year.
I work in the command post,
Family I miss the most.
But I don’t gripe nor complain,
I’m proud to serve I have no shame.
Next time your working your nine to five,
Remember controllers actions help keep you alive.
When you lay your head down and asleep you drift,
Remember a command post controller is still on shift.

Anniversary
I thought Id write you something to remember me by,
A commemorative for the two years you spent by my side,
But every day is a new mistake,
A new song to be written and erased,
Why would you listen anyway,
Finally Im going on with my life,
What a big mistake it was saving all my good-byes,
Im not the type of person to get over it,
Its stuck in the back of my mind along with the time we spent,
Finally Im going on with my life,
What a big mistake it was saving all my good-byes,
By the end of the year,
You wont even be there,
What a big mistake it was,
I wanted you to be there
Piece it together,
Along with all the rest,
Dont forget to write,
Warm your cold shoulder,
Dont listen to what they say, what they say,
I thought Id write you something to remember me by,
Finally Im going on with my life,
What a mistake it was saving all my good-byes,
By the end of the year,
You wont even be there,
What a big mistake it was,
I wanted you to be there

Zero Covers All
Lately I realize.
I am a numb number,
living through life.
First child.
Date of birth.
Sixth star of twenty-seven.
Scorpio numbers six of twelve.
Studied tenth class,
Then 5-year’s graduation,
Every class I had a scroll number.
Exams written on id number.
Studied law.
Head churning three years,
with numbered sections.
Penal code, constitution.
Clauses of law in numbered sects.
Registered in bar council.
Legal practice.
Case files are numbered.
Subsequently I got,
House number, door number.
Phone number.
Mobile number.
Account numbers.
Credit card number.
Pan card number,
Folio numbers,
Car number,
License number,
Policy number,
Health card number,
Election card number,
Passport number,
Ration card number,
Ultimately, when you put me in morgue,
allotted me a number.
Which, I do no know.
However, I know a number.
I am a big zero.
It covers all my life
Yes, we discovered zero.
What a relief?
Does it not cover all?
fulfill all values!
By the way your number please?
X number or N number?
Infinite numbers.

As I cannot touch you
With my fingers, as I cannot take a longer
Gaze at you without being condemned
As I cannot be always with you even longer than a minute, as I cannot sit beside you without being
Despised, as I cannot talk to you about
How people love and love so true
Without being ridiculed,
As I cannot
Offer you fresh white flowers as symbols of my affection,
As I cannot send you a greeting card wishing you well,
As I cannot hold your hand even in casual friendship,
As I cannot
Take you to dinner and be myself sharing
What I can give you,
As I cannot
Hug you and kiss you and make love to you even in the wildest of my dreams imaginations without me dying in sin and guilt
As I cannot walk with you in a park
Without being
Ostracized by this decent society
I will just think of you in milder forms in decent thoughts,
And write about you in clean and clear words,
That will just be enough.
I always look at you on this one-way mirror tinted with silver,
And so you do not notice
And so no one knows.
Because,
Strictly, I am prohibited
And that to me is loud and clear.
And by all means within my powers, I have to gently obey.

Where you live.
What's in a postcode? , of your humble abode.
Not just part of your address, information they possess! !
Browsing the net, pigeon-holed info'my eyes met.
Departmentalized, job and income, even what paper's I read, ‘Star& Sun.'
Ironic, me the‘tabloid stereo type', their web-page is static, not right.
So much for the world wide medium, on the day, I'd been reading the‘Guardian'!
This all explains'personnel circumstances'getting a loan and your chances..
Regards to my loan rate, dictated by‘Where You Live'it should state.! !
They categorize, label, stigmatize, so'they', your custom, can patronize.
Ticked off, a bit annoyed, at their criteria that's employed.
If only, I had lived in a ‘better location', maybe, gotten a better deal with my loan situation?
So if ever you're refused a card or loan, 'No'you're told,
Check your out your post code, and the data it may hold! !

Minute By Minute (Dobbie Brothers)
(Michael McDonaldLester Abrams)
Hey, don't worry, I've been lied to
I've been here many times before
Girl, don't you worry, I know where I stand
I don't need this love, I don't need your hand
I know I could turn, blink, and you'd be gone
Then I must be prepared any time to carry on
But minute by minute by minute by minute
I keep holding on
Oh, minute by minute by minute by minute
I keep holding on
You will stay just to watch me, darlin'
Wilt away on lies from you
Can't stop the habit of livin' on the run
I take it all for granted like you're the only one
Livin' on my own
Somehow that sounds nice
You think I'm your fool
Well, you may just be right
'Cause minute by minute by minute by minute
I keep holding on
Oh, minute by minute by minute by minute
I keep holding on
Call my name and I'll be gone
You'll reach out and I won't be there
Just my luck you'll realize
You should spend your life with someone
You could spend your life with someone
Minute by minute by minute by minute
I'll be holding on
Oh, minute by minute by minute by minute
I'll be holding on...

In A Better World
The day I leave this earth
There will be nobody always to help me in my life
And nobody else will need to look after me here on earth
Because I will be in heaven
In a better place than earth
But I must say that I can't wait for this day to arrive
And when this day arrive I will be ready for God to take me home
To his abode in heaven
My life will end here on earth
But it will continue in heaven inside of God's abode
And in the garden in heaven I will go for walk any time that I feel like
Without being disturbed by the other people that lives in heaven
Also the dogs in heaven will come and great me while I walk in the garden In heaven
Of course I won't see anymore violence or homeless people here in the sky
At all and that to me will be a relieve
Also my pain and my life strugles will be over
