Eve Of St. Agony Or The Middleclass Was Sitting On Its Fat

Man-dirt and stomachs that the sea unloads; rockets
of quick lice crawling inland, planting their damn flags,
putting their malethings in any hole that will stand still,
yapping bloody murder while they slice off each other’s heads,
spewing themselves around, priesting, whoring, lording
it over little guys, messing their pants, writing gush-notes
to their grandmas, wanting somebody to do something pronto,
wanting the good thing right now and the bad stuff for the other boy.
Gullet, praise God for the gut with the patented zipper;
sing loud for the lads who sell ice boxes on the burning deck.
Dear reader, gentle reader, dainty little reader, this is
the way we go round the milktrucks and seamusic, Sike’s trap and Meg’s rib,
the wobbly sparrow with two strikes on the bible, behave
Alfred, your pokus is out; I used to collect old ladies,
pickling them in brine and painting mustaches on their bellies,
later I went in for stripteasing before Save Democracy Clubs;
when the joint was raided we were all caught with our pants down.
But I will say this: I like butter on both sides of my bread
and my sister can rape a Hun any time she’s a mind to,
or the Yellow Peril for that matter; Hector, your papa’s in the lobby.
The old days were different; the ball scores meant something then,
two pill in the side pocket and two bits says so; he got up slow see,
shook the water out of his hair, wam, tell me that ain’t a sweet left hand;
I told her what to do and we did it, Jesus I said, is your name McCoy?
Maybe it was the beer or because she was only sixteen but I got hoarse
just thinking about her; married a john who travels in cotton underwear.
Now you take today; I don’t want it. Wessex, who was that with I saw you lady?
Tony gave all his dough to the church; Lizzie believed in feeding her own face;
and that’s why you’ll never meet a worm who isn’t an antichrist, my friend,
I mean when you get down to a brass tack you’ll find some sucker sitting on it.
Whereas. Muckle’s whip and Jessie’s rod, boyo, it sure looks black
in the gut of this particular whale. Hilda, is that a .38 in your handbag?

Ghosts in packs like dogs grinning at ghosts
Pocketless thieves in a city that never sleeps
Chains clank, warders curse, this world is stark mad

Hey! Fatty, don’t look now but that’s a Revolution breathing down your neck.

Around # 3

the hand of God, the hand of fate,
where do you cast the blame?
humanity, cursed by apathy,
acts of murder in God's name.

national pride, guess what they lied,
putting money in the bank.
bombs falling, terror crawling,
putting gas in the tanks.

and the world comes crashing down.
in too deep, the fearful drown.
stand up and be, or just sit down.
what goes around comes around.

Knife

Slit and
Slither knife
Penetrate in phallic push
To perforate the pulse of tissues in the flesh
Slice a vein to drain the unsuspecting victim
E’er they bleed and plea
Their scream
Of death

Dire Wolf

In the timbers to fennario, the wolves are running round,
The winter was so hard and cold, froze ten feet neath the ground.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
I sat down to my supper, twas a bottle of red whisky,
I said my prayers and went to bed, thats the last they saw of me.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
When I awoke, the dire wolf, six hundred pounds of sin,
Was grinning at my window, all I said was come on in.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
The wolf came in, I got my cards, we sat down for a game.
I cut my deck to the queen of spades, but the cards were all the same.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
In the backwash of fennario, the black and bloody mire,
The dire wolf collects his dues, while the boys sing round the fire.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
No, no, no dont murder me. I beg of you,
Dont murder me. please, dont murder me.

Bloody Luxury

(coverdale)
Now when I first met you
I was rolling along,
Just a bar room crooner
Singing heartbreak songs,
An I supposed I could never get next to you
But, you seemed quite happy with my company
You kept my body heat steady at 103,
With your mouth full of gimme
An your body full of much obliged
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
What you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...
Youre a five star woman,
An you know what to give
To fill a part time loser
Full of reasons to live,
But, theres no doubt about it
Im taking a chance on you
Becos you get my heart beating heavy,
Make my knees go weak
You get me so damn nervous
I can hardly speak,
But, nothings gonna stop me
Hanging on my good luck charm
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
What you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
Honey what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
Honey what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me,
No matter what you do to me,
No matter what you do to me,
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...

Premeditation

Oh blade you'll warm tonight!
Awash in crimson-purple flows,
Your sheen will dull with aching flesh:
Palpating anatomic mounds
Caressing, dancing, writhing round
Your metal form-
Whetted ‘gainst a lonely bone,
Then to probe the pounding, begging heart.

And all the while the prey will howl
Before they crumple; greet the mud-
A taut and unbelieving jowl
Will open out for giving blood-
A vent from down below,
Once a brutal show
Of metal in the man.

After the Hunt

Underneath the windy mountain walls
Forth we rode, an eager band,
By the surges and the verges and the gorges,
Till the night was on the land—
On the hazy, mazy land!
Far away the bounding prey
Leapt across the ruts and logs,
But we galloped, galloped, galloped on,
Till we heard the yapping of the dogs—
The yapping and the yelping of the dogs.
Oh, it was a madly merry day
We shall not so soon forget,
And the edges and the ledges and the ridges
Haunt us with their echoes yet—
Echoes, echoes, echoes yet!
While the moon is on the hill
Gleaming through the streaming fogs,
Don’t you hear the yapping of the dogs—
The yapping and the yelping of the dogs?

Bloody Murder

Bloody murder bloody murder
Nothing tastes as sweet
As this delectable bloody murder
Even if this feeling is fleet

Oh didn’t I warn you then
When I said leave or you will pay
I’ll write this in deaths darkened pen
You should listen to what I say

Don’t turn back the blades not still
Don’t look back the bloods still warm
Who said I had no will to kill
Who said I was innocent in every form

Crackle like the madman listen and hear
There’s nothing worse than a broke mind
Soon he shall see my name clear
You think these bonds truly bind

Once again I’m free but none the less trapped
Thinking clearly as his words chain
Kept in a cage so my mentality he sapped
So I do as he says, broken from the pain

On the loose again playing his game
Running from an evil only I know
For my mind he has laid claim
Because under his thumb am I below

I am his shiny loyal toy
I am the one who can
Murder in silence and act so coy
Because I’m his broke assassin, a perfect hit man

Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder” (The Billion-Dollar Question)

We must all stay aware…..,
Of the Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder….,
It’s been increasing for years….,
The Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder ….! ! !

Can’t dare turn our backs….,
On the Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder ….,
It’ll sneak up and kill us…,
The Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder ….! ! !

It’s hard to believe and conceive….
The Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder ….,
That’s why so many are blind….,
To the Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder …! ! !

We’ve seen the bloody attacks…..,
Of the Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder ….,
So we must face the facts….,
On the Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder ….! ! !

Yes they’re after us all…,
The Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder ….,
Their radical religion condones it….,
The Insane Culture Of Mass-Murder ….! ! !

Can we control it or stop it….,
So it won’t go any further….? ? ?
That’s the billion-dollar question….,

His Red Dirt Life

So many red dirt roads he’s traveled
Along his long red dirt life
Children born and raised with
His charming red dirt wife

A home was built and furnished
Upon his red dirt land
He’s done the very best he could
Always taking a red dirt stand

Red dirt roads that lead up to
A bridge to the other side
He tries to go right with the flow
Along life’s red dirt ride

And during that ride it seems
There are some pot holes in the road
But he just keep pluggin’ along you see
Just carrying his red dirt load

The streams and valleys continue
Until the end of his red dirt time
And when the sun beats down on him
He loves to see that red dirt shine!

Murder In Her Eyes

Some say she's bitter,
some say she's sweet.
They know her by her shimmer,
Oh how sometimes her crime can be so neat.

She makes her enemies real slick,
she makes her friends so easily.
Although her enemies slaughter is real quick,
but she's a generous person, really.

The murder in her eyes
reveals her disguise,
The taste of her enemies blood,
she cannot recognize.
She seeks for revenge
For only those who caused her agony and avenge.

The murder shows who she truly is.
The sweet girl with a bloody blade in her hand.
Her enemies dead body laying on the floor
as she laughs and hounds as her enemies body rots to the core.

The murder in her eyes is severe...
Something that nobody dares to conquer

They laughed at her in the past,
She knew their life's wouldn't last.
The murder in her eyes hides the tides of her personality
for her enemy's, she loves to rec their reality.

No one ever thought she could do that.
Until they saw her true disguise which showed the murder...
Murder in her eyes.

Burning Flags

they're burning flags again....
sit down stand up protesting,
cracking heads like eggs,
yolk running down on hallowed ground....

they're burning flags again...
soldier boys coming home
to no work, living in cars,
no help, without a country...

they're burning flags again...
your sister died giving birth.
your brother-in-law cant get work,
making meth in the tub...

crying at night 'neath a picture
of Jesus hanging on the cross....

they're burning flags again...
small town football heroes
in prison cells learning
to live outside the law....

they're burning flags again....
and the words of Jefferson
fall in the empty rooms
where justice and equality lived....

they're burning flags again!

We Dug A Hole

His head is a big black hole
full of big black things
and it sucks so hard
you could never against the mud
Sugar plum, no ones ever seen anything come
ouch, what a travesty, what a sad fate
someone get a band-aid please
we gotta get this guy a machine for his cranium
I mean I don't need
maybe I don't hear what i need
this never really goes anywhere
We dug a hole
And put our heads in it
We dug a hole
We dug a hole
And put our heads in
This winter they come too quick and broad
with not enough hot spiced cider or cinnamon toast
you never think you know this but when you got a dead start
sucking up both times in your brain
things start to change
and for the record let me say
its not his fault that things never change
the summer is always too short
and still they broke up for a guy with a black hole in his head
and you'll never meet him anyway
We dug a hole
And put our heads in it
We dug a hole
We dug a hole
And put our heads in it
We dug a hole
(We dug a hole)

Bloody red

Bloody red, she screamed her lungs out
Crawling and shouting for help, in pain
The morning turns dark and grey for her
Bloody red, clothes are burnt and
House is broken home, no where to go
Take a look around and all you see is hate
Bloody red, the lies turn white and
Skins ripped off, this is a reason
For broken wings of an angel
Bloody red, I scream for happiness to come
No one can hear me, please lord
Just listen to my prayer
Red! I'm dying here tonight in your arms
Your my assasin for life and this is my sweet dream
I'm all yours for life, dear pain..

Auntie’s curse

She said to me, now in her old age
to stay away from the dogs and cats,
as if they were spiders, snakes and bats

being scared
that I would catch
something from them

like lice or ticks or fleas
or maybe some hidden disease
and although I had used frontline on them,
had dusted them with karbadust,
had sprayed shoo-fly on their heads and necks

she wished that I would catch lice from them,
or the illness which they were carrying
like a member of the flat earth society,
still believing in vain
as if cats and dogs infected with
the one or other pest
were going to rain down
out of the sky
and infect every one

and then she bought some expensive shampoo,
bathed, washed her head
five times a day
to kill the pests
which she believed
was now crawling over her
and was very angry at me
for not comprehending
life exactly as she did.

A Story of True Love *Abortion

The room smelling of cleaner and metal
nauseating and mind reeling
feeling her heart race
with nervousness and fear
for the life inside her
her beloved
hoping for life
in the outside world
feeling along and afraid
putting a small hand to her womb
as if trying to get a hold of the tiny new life
forming inside her body
such a beautiful thing
closing her eyes
sighing deeply
slipping into an unknown world
dreaming of love
only to be jolted awake
a stern voice rang out
calling a foreign name
her name
could it really be?
was it really time?
her heart in her throat
she stood
shaking uncontrollably
tears threatening
mind screaming bloody murder
murder...
murder! ! !
what was she doing?
realizing her mistake
her heart stopped
she gasped
biting the hand that appeared
at her frozen lips
tears now flowing
asking herself why
why she was putting herself through this..
why she was putting her baby through this..
through such terror and turmoil
her whirling thoughts were making her dizzy
hearing her name again
she looks up
tears blinding her vision
feeling empty and ashamed
she shakes her head
the stranger questions her stance
she stares blankly at her
and shakes her head
understanding her decision
the woman's heart swelled with pride
tears projecting
she looks at the closed door
telling her to leave this desolate place
to give life and hope
to love the small being growing inside her
to live in eternity

Hydraulic jacks

Sounds like something obscene I thought
some erectile dysfunction device
or an aid for relieving gastric distress
I don't know what I thought then
but after crawling about on cold
concrete working the damn lever
and looking in vain for a spot
on the undercarriage that would
support the car's weight
I ejected a stream
of damns
and shits!

Who invented these damn things
devised to drive a guy bonkers?
Damn him and his ilk
to mechanic's busted knuckles
for eternity!

A Red Carnation As A Symbol

many want to stand for it
love, yes could be,
fire, fire on a green stalk
from whom? from love
yes, yes it could be
bloody, this red carnation
is bloody
but love, love, yes it could be
love, from the pocket
of your black suited heart
oh, yes, bloody, so bloody,
this red carnation, could still be
love, love, yes it could be

how much harm more can
it do
wrecking havoc on innocent
hearts, these bloody, bloody
victims
of love, love, yes, the red
carnation could still be

Crawling Back

(orbison/dees)
Only you and no one else
Can keep me crawling back
You know I cant help myself
And now Im crawling back
After all youve done to me
The times youve turned me down
I still will be your clown
Because I love you
Im crawling back
You know I would die for you
Heaven knows how I have cried for you
But what else can I do
But crawl on back to you, ooh
Crawling back to you
People stop they talk and they stare
But they dont know that you really care
That youre only lonely, and making believe
And you need me around
When the world turns you down
Whenever you might need me
I will come crawling back
Wherever you will lead me
I will come crawling back

Irritating Sky

The sky is always changing –
Can't it settle down?
Shades of blue, then reddy hue,
Puffs of grey and white;
And then it's bloody night!
At least I see a smattering
Of twinkly little things,
A silver globe occasionally
Which admittedly it brings
A sort of pleasant feeling,
Warming to the soul,
But overall it's so annoying –
Irritatingly droll!

The Creature Crawling

The creature crawling don't know when he'll arrive
Don't know if creature is dead or alive
All of god's creatures have the will to survive
Did you know about that ?
Did you know about all that ?
The creature crawling
The creature crawling
The creature crawling and he's coming up the road
He's crawling over to your area code
Crawling through the grass of your little abode
Did you know about that ?
Did you know about that ?
Did you know about all that ?
Whatcha gonna say ?
Whatcha gonna do ?
What goes around it comes around
One fine day
Look around
There will be nothing but you
