White, laughing and chatting too and
Fro, sunbathing bright

Daisy or Daisylike, so confusing
Related how you all, so muddled..
One there's worldover sprawling
Leaves elliptic in hairy spread
Buds bunched together budding
Blooming white to pink faded
Her name, Mexican Fleabane...
And Hairy Fleabane hilly spread
Wild and fierce all blanketing
White to pink yellow centered..
Oxeye Daisy Oh, one more joining
Rhizomes and rosette all spread
white around yellow disk raying
Up the stem solitarily seated
Medicative energy across spraying..
Dazzling Daisies more and more found
Puzzled mind true or false learning
Everything yet enterprising sound..
Daisy or Daisylike, so confusing
Related many more still, so muddled..

more yellow
than yellow
lemons on a white
white table cloth.
3
peals of
the bells
you laughing
'I LOVE YOU...! '
'I LOVE YOU I...! '
'...LOVE YOU! '
The sun
a bright orange
in the blue sea
of the sky.

Here in the depths of winter as the new year is about to turn...I turn back to the days of summer....that heady mixture of sunshine and love...love and sunshine.

Bright Colors
bright colors hang
on a horizontal pole
a white bench a red
pail and purple clouds
yellow sand black
sea grass and lavender
shadows umbrellas
on alternate orange and
white and saffron and
yellow green and crimson
blue sea with white foams
escape from a shrinking world
to the sea breeze and solitude

When we were trying to get the money for Driving Miss Daisy, everyone kept saying no one could direct it well enough to entertain an audience for 100 minutes essentially watching three people chatting in the kitchen.

Daisy.
Daisy.
So lazy.
In a field.
A sunlit shield
Of meadow green.
Bows
To fan your beauty.
Vows
It's never a duty.
So serene.
An open portrait
For the sky
To paint
With cumulus billowed white.
As skylarks duet
In choral flight.
With floral smile
Of sweet delight.
Daisy.
So crazy.
All now is revealed.
As Heaven peeled
The sun away
Your moondance lit,
In beam you sway.
White petals gleam
In every ray.
A tiny flower
That lives one hour
In hidden bouquet.
That sea of colour
Could lose a minnow
It's true.
Yet daisy I know
Again
I will find you
In midnight blue.

Be Contented You Are Telling Me
you sent the slideshow
of the little white daisy
contented in the
forest where all the
other plants are confused
the oak wanting to be a lilac
the lilac wanting to be a pine
the pine wanting to be a daisy
you are the daisy
i suppose so
how can i ever believe you
when all the while
you have been dreaming
of wings to fly away?

Why The Daisies Are Not All White
Uncle Rob says:
Once the daisies all were white,
Till a baby fellow
Ate his supper down one night,
And stained his face all yellow.
Smeared with butter, off to bed
Crept the sleepy flower.
'Fie!' the good nurse dew-drop said,
Come now to my bower.
'Let me wash you clean, I pray,
Like the pink and rosy.'
But the daisy pulled away
Like a stubborn posy.
All unwashed he went to sleep,
Naughty little fellow.
Ever since he's had to keep
That great patch of yellow.
So Uncle Rob says.

Talkin' Bout My Baby (Midfield General's Disco Reshuffle Mix)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,
Wah Yeah, Talking Bout My Baby,
Talking Bout My Baby,
When She Go Walking Down Bourben Street,
I Just Can't Understand As I Walk Behind Her,
She Got Red Hotpants On,
She Got On A Low-Neck See Through Blouse With No Brassier On,
She Shaking Like Two Big Old Balloons In A Hurricane,
She Got A Purple Afro,
She Got Her Hand On Her Hip,
Better Not Let Her Slip???
Battering Her Eyes
Looking Straight At Me Yeah,
She's Battering Her Eyes
And Looking Straight At Me With That Sassy Saucy Look On Her Face,
She's Beside Me,
I Wanna Go Out On A Picnic With You Baby,
Out Under The Big Bright Yellow Sun,
She Said I Wanna Go Out On A Picnic With You Baby,
Out Under The Big Bright Yellow Sun,
Out Under The Big Bright Yellow Sun,
Out Under The Big Bright Yellow Sun,
Out Under The Big Bright Yellow Sun

The Daisy Chain
Oww!
Scream one more time
Scream, scream one more time
Oww!
Bless my soul, save my name
I ain't never goin' down to the daisy chain!
Just a young man tryin' to feel the flow
(Flow, flow, flow)
Got no idea what the chain is for
(No idea, No idea)
The lesson on the t.v. blush and bye
(Yeah, yeah)
Cop a teeny whiplashed, but still he tries
Bless my soul, save my name
I ain't never going down to the daisy chain!
Black girl givin' it up
White girl givin' it up
Black girl givin' it up

Funky like a junkie with corn rows
That's why your behind's so narrow
(So narrow)
Switchen numbers with the video
Leave ya with a headache, no more fame
I ain't never going down to the daisy chain!
Black girl givin' it up
White girl givin' it up
Black girl givin' it up
White girl givin' it up
Girls gonna keep on givin' it up
A mouse to the trap, the cheese is up
A little bit of pleasure for the guilty pain
Think about it sister, now you're livin' in shame...
Gots no hips 2 vibrate
(Mm mm)
That's why you gets no page
Everyone of y'all suspect
I takes no blame
(takes no blame)

I ain't never going down to the daisy chain!
I ain't never going down to the daisy chain!(repeat)
(Black girl givin' it up)
(White girl givin' it up)(repeat x 2)
Ahoo, ooh ooh ooh

I knew a dancer, her name was Kelly
Nickname Candy with a hoop through her belly
A tongue ring with a voice to sing
With a body like whooo, die peace, everything
See I used to deliver pizza to her house
But tonight she said, "Yo, Come in and chill out"
I came in, sat down, I was lookin' around
What I found, I found she was steppin' out a gown
I had to stop that girl in her tracks
I said let me tell you something by a guy that raps
Yo, why buy you if he can just lease you
Why iron you if he can just crease you
Why try you if he won't breed you
Why drive through if he won't eat you
Why V.I.P. you if he can nose bleed you
Ok, stop cryin'
Sorry, I'll leave you
Daisy chain
Daisy chain
Daisy chain
Daisy chain
Daisy chain
This will make your hips vibrate, make your hip vibrate
This will make your hips vibrate, make your hip vibrate
Make your hip vibrate, make your hip vibrate
Vibrate
Daisy chain
Leave you with a headache, daisy chain

Anemone (Balassi stanza)
Like big white and red eyes
opening under the skies
growing from a russet stalk
fragilely flowering
early in the new spring
when some people laugh and talk
they hardly ever see
your bright blooms hanging free
while chatting past they do walk.

The Yellow Ribbon On The Old Oak Tree
who can forget the yellow ribbon
on that old oak tree? tell me.
tomorrow, i shall wear my yellow cap
my yellow shirt, my yellow brief,
my yellow pants.
my jaundiced eye, my golden yellow ring.
tomorrow, in my country, the sky is yellow.
all steps lead to the yellow brick road.
all fruits are ripe and mellow and yellow.
Tomorrow, the country is yellow.
Yellow for integrity, Yellow for change.
Yellow for justice. Yellow for truth.
One day more, and the sun shall rise
Yellow as ever.Yellow forever.

Seasons......
Spring brings joy and revival
The world is filled with freshness,
Sprinkle and sparkle glimpse
Sky gets painted with Rainbow;
Summer is bright and colourful
Bright yellow flowers bloom afresh,
Summer has arrived with fullness,
White, yellow, red, orange and blue;
Autumn is dusty and dry
Withering and falling old leaves,
Autumn is setting in fast
Old decay for new to arise;
Winter is cool and blissful,
Snow is pleasant surprise,
Everything is painted white,
Soon it shall melt to make way;
The cycle of Seasons goes on,
World changes with its mood.

Yellow Roses
Hello you said the day we met
Handing me a yellow rose
You asked me out
And to your surprise
And to mine I said Id go
I thought it so romantic
And I found you sweet and bold
Though wed only met
I still said yes
To a single yellow rose
And for years to come
You were the one
To sleep with me at night
To laugh and talk
And share my thoughts
And hold me when Id cry
And on every occasion
And for no good reason to
A big bouquet or a single yellow rose
Was sent from you
Chorus:
Yellow roses
The color of sunshine
You loved me at one time
Why did you have to go
Yellow roses
Are you sending your new love
My bright yellow rose buds
I still love you so
I never see a yellow rose
That I didnt think of you
Its still my favorite flower
Though the yellows turned to blue
The day you left my teardrops fell
Upon your farewell not
You said goodbye like you said hello
With a single yellow rose
Chorus:
Yellow roses
The color of sunshine
You loved me at one time
Why did you have to go
Yellow roses
Are you sending your new love
My bright yellow rose buds
Oh I still love you so
Yellow roses
The color of sunshine
You loved me at one time
Why did you have to go
Sweet yellow roses
Are you sending your new love
My bright yellow rose buds
I still love you so

Humble Daisy
Humble daisy
Form a chain to hold all battleships in check
Humble daisy
Knit a ladder down to natures sunken wreck
Ragged rug unbound
Tangle trip the lovers
Royal barge aground
Brighter than all of the others on the window sill
Ill sing about you if nobody else will
Humble daisy
Cast the milk and coins of mornings cash about
Humble daisy
I fell down to heaven as you picked me out
Well look up together
Browsing through some old sky
Sipping in the weather
Youve got me dizzy, the fly that climbed the sugar hill
Ill lay upon you till somebody else will
Humble daisy
Well look up together

A spring evening
Outside the irises flower yellow and purple
and I haven’t seen a red one yet
and there are some pink and white blossoms
on the fruit trees
and the streetlights burn continually
glowing orange-yellow
all day and all night
as if the municipality
does not know how to do things right
and in the fading evening light
the moon is full and white
and the evening star is already shining bright
and a hot breeze sweeps in
through the open windows
and I wonder when the first spring rain
is going to fall
and in the distance I see thunder
crashing down
in blue-white flashes, but the storm
is blown away and again the sky is clear
and the black speckled by stars.

Incantation
A white well
In a black cave;
A bright shell
In a dark wave.
A white rose
Black brambles hood;
Smooth bright snows
In a dark wood.
A flung white glove
In a dark fight;
A white dove
On a wild black night.
A white door
In a dark lane;
A bright core
To bitter black pain.
A white hand
Waved from dark walls;
In a burnt black land
Bright waterfalls.
A bright spark
Where black ashes are;
In the smothering dark
One white star.

How Can I Tell The Yellow Daisy?
how can i tell the yellow daisy about the sad truth that her fingers
that long to touch the blue clouds high up in the sky cannot be hers?
how can i tell her that she is just wasting her fleeting time and feelings
trying to touch that which cannot be touched by her fingers because
their worlds are far apart because the sun will not allow it because
she is just this tiny little daisy that grows wildly in my little garden?
how can i ever tell her that love too has rules? that love too can be
too painful and most of the time addressed to indifference: unrequited?
how can i ever tell her that like her i am also in pain in longing and dying?

Little White Dainty Daisy Opening Upon Such An Early Morning
little white dainty daisy
too fragile to believe that this
mighty bee
loves her
too young a bud
to open upon an early morning
the hairy bee rushes to take
everything from
dainty daisy
all her nectar
the might and force of the sucking and the sting
are too much
for her taking
upon the ground lies
the purest of all petals
when the sun & winds & clouds finally come
oh, there is so much weeping
