Mans train of thoughts [sex]
Always leaves platform for two
Mindful every three minutes.

Joy on the Trains at Jubilee Time
At the station, the platform is packed.
Soon our train is heading down the track.
As our London-bound train slowly approaches,
I am surprised by the evident lack of coaches.
The ensuing rush to get on, is all rather manic.
The Guard blows his whistle and everyone panics.
Upon the platform, there's soon no one left,
But many new passengers are out of breath.
Once onboard, there is standing room only:
There's certainly no chance of being lonely.
Of vacant seats, I see there is a major lack,
So I stand, holding on to the luggage rack.
Some people are huddled up by the doors,
Whilst others plump for a seat on the floor.
At the next station, they don't release all the doors:
Our already packed train can only take a few more.
By the time that our train reaches Woking,
It's a real nightmare - I wish I was joking,
But passengers are left abandoned on the platform:
Their faces disappointed, they all look so forlorn.
I overhear a number of passengers complain
About the distinct lack of carriages on our train.
During my journey, I spend most of my time
Thinking up sentences which, nicely, rhyme.
By the time our train pulls in to Waterloo,
With my new poem, I am almost through.
We're ten minutes late and the Guard explains
This was due to passengers boarding the train.
When I head home again, it is getting quite late.
And the number of carriages now totals eight.
No one is standing: everybody has a seat.
I travel home in comfort. Oh, what a treat!

On A Railway Platform
The world
Becomes small
On a railway platform
Irrespective of
Cast, color or creed
Old and young
Rich and poor
Known, unknown
Meet
Arrive and depart
The loved ones
Are received and sent off
Tears of happiness
And sorrow flow
Bustles
With noise and activity
Anxiety leaves
When the train arrives
Turns in to place with
Death like silence
Once it whistles
Leaves
For its destination
The world
Becomes still
On a railway platform

Good Morning Mr. Railroad Man
(traditional)
Good morning, mr. railroad man
What time do your trains roll by ?
"at 9:16 and 2:44 and 25 minutes 'till 5"
"at 9:16 and 2:44 and 25 minutes 'till 5"
Thank you, mr. railroad man
I want to watch your trains go by
Standing on a platform, smoking a cheap cigar
And waiting for an old freight train that carries an empty car
Well, i pulled my hat down over my eyes
And i walked across the tracks
And i caught me the end of an old freight train
And i never did come back
Well, i sat down in a gamblin' game
But i could not play my hand
I was thinkin' about the woman i loved
Run away with another man, poor boy
Run away with another man
I was thinking about the woman that i loved
Run away with another man

Yeah yeah yeah ah
You see a mans face
But you dont see his heart
You see a mans face
But you will never know his thoughts
Everywhere you go
Theres a man to say love
Never neither never neither
Take it to heart
For your heart is your heart
And your thoughts is your thoughts
Never mix love with hatred
You see a mans face
You will never see his heart
You see a mans face
But you will never know his thoughts
You see a mans face
You will never know his thoughts
You see a mans face

Ten Minutes Aint Enough
Ten minutes aint enough,
No!
To have my needs satisfactorily pleased.
Ten minutes aint enough.
Ten minutes aint enough!
Ten minutes aint enough,
No!
To know what I want before it leaves.
Ten minutes aint enough.
Ten minutes aint enough!
There has to be a bit of teased acquaintance.
With a chat that sits.
There has to be a bit of teased acquaintance.
With eyes that are fixed.
And not drifting.
Some may wish a quick...
Beginning that swiftly ends.
With nothing to explore.
But an exit out a door!
And not just there to lift and drift.

I like the rain
when I met you
it was a heavy rain
approached there my train
was a beautiful summer
on the platform the drummer
drummed and a sun
came out a fun
of hot rays began.
I didn't get
onto a train,
stopped me eyes
it was a day really
exceptionally nice .
and our fun
lasts as soon,
as is lighting the sun.
I am going to the platform
and I am waiting
perhaps a weather
will change
and a rain
will start
being
falling down...

Cross-tie Walker
I went down to the station, just to take a ride.
I went down to the station, just to take a ride.
Found myself on a flatcar, yesterday behind.
Pullin out from the platform, there was no brass band.
I pulled out from the platform, nobody raised a hand.
And there were no tears of regret from my runaway train.
Train, train, train, train.
Got no sand in my pocket, you know I aint tied down.
Aint no sand in my pocket, never do sit down.
Im just a cross-tie walker, where the freight trains run.
Run, run, run, run.
If you see me acomin, dont you waste my time.
If you see me acomin, dont you waste my time.
cause theres more miles between us than the santa fe line.
Run, run, run, run.
Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm....

Train thoughts
You see the train fires our thoughts-
We find a white metallic sky up there,
As though the train itself were the earth
Spinning like a top in cosmic space.
The train’s hoot pierces our awareness.
We then come down from the upper berth
To mundane matters of trivial concern-
Thoughts which are not train thoughts
But home kitchen and patio thoughts
Waiting for inquisitive neighbours to talk
So that we could pick large comic holes.
In the train, between our finiteness and sky
There is another white sky, train sky
Under which several celestial thoughts
Take place in our upturned sleeping faces
It is as though the metal sky does not exist
And we are faced with the Big sky itself.

Its A Mans, Mans, Mans World
Its a mans,mans,mans world
This is a mans world
This is a mans world
But it would be nothing
Nothing without a woman to care
You see man made the cars
To take us over the world
Man made the train
To carry the heavy load
Man made the electro lights
To take us out of the dark
Man made the bullet for the war
Like noah made the ark
This is a mans mans, mans world
But it would be nothing
Nothing without a woman to care
Man thinks of our little baby girls and the baby boys
Man make them happy cause man makes them toys
And aher man make everything, everything he can
You know that man makes money to buy from other man
This is a mans world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Not one little thing
Without a woman to care
Hes lost in the wilderness
Hes lost in the bitterness
Hes lost, lost and .....

trum...trum....Its a Train..! ! !
I love to travel in a train
in a bumping and humping bogie..
A long, beautiful
chugging train
with dad, mom and bro.
I love to travel in a train
that breaks into the platform,
with thundering wheels
and-
a whistle blown
I love to travel in a train
passing through
tunnels-
stretched and curved.
lights off,
howling on,
it is wonderful to be on a train..
I love to travel in a train
and roam all around the world
for ever and ever...

Welcome my Grandchild
I got up that morning
with a beaming smile
for I could see my grandchild
jumping down from the Brindavan Express
at twenty five minutes past eight.
I was busy on that day
buying biscuits, chocolates, cherries and fried nuts
as she could have now a little firm teeth.
Toys, pipes, electronic cars
I bought in the evening.
My wife had been decorating the house
for a week as our kiddie was coming.
At Six I was at the Central Station,
exhausting reading of all the eveningers.
When there was half-an-hour
for the train to roll in with a satiating smile,
I went out to buy a pair of ‘idlies’,
for our little queen would be very hungry
after a travel of fifteen hours.
I ran back into the station
and gazed at the glimmering electronic board.
My God, the train had arrived!
I ploughed through the crowd
with a bird’s eye to view our little mother.
But I failed to see her carrying a small bag
to ease my daughter on the platform.
I rushed home to see her
as a man running after fortune.
When my two-wheeler entered my house,
my grandchild came out yelling, “ Thatha (Grandpa) ’.
The bad train had come five minutes earlier
to prevent me from hauling her up at the station..

Tea Is A Platform
Tea is a platform
Tea is a platform
Platform to finalise deals
Deals of businesses
Businesses of sale and purchase
Sale and purchase of commodities
Commodities like bullion, cereals, tea
Tea for sale to customers
Customers drink tea at some platform
Tea is a platform
Platform to make friends
Friends to have co-operation
Co-operation to work together
Work together at a platform

~
I sit waiting on the platform
Watching lives and souls rattle by
From and to the unknown
So many stories being written
I have forgotten why I wait
Am I due to catch my train
Or greet my love from another
Sat world watching
Noticing moments in others lives
The smiles and laughter
The tears and pain
I am not sure if I am effected
Or just taking notes
Making my own stories
While I wait on the platform
A wind whistles through
A slight chill to the air
I stay sat, watching, waiting
Trying to remember
How I got here

But takin care of you darlin
Aint for one of the boys
Oh theres somethin in your soul

And lovin you baby lovin you darlin
Lovin you woman is a mans mans job
Lovin yous a mans job baby

Lovin yous a mans job baby

Well now his kisses may thrill
Those other girls that he likes

A real woman right
Well of all of his tricks
No they wont be enough
cause lovin you baby lovin you woman
Lovin you darlin is a mans mans job
Lovin yous a mans job baby
Lovin yous a mans job
Lovin yous a mans job baby
Lovin yous a mans job
Youre dancin with him hes holding you tight
Im standing here waitin to catch your eye
Your hands on his neck as the music sways
All my illusions slip away
Repeat riff from intro twice
Now if youre lookin for a hero
Someone to save the day
Well darlin my feet
Theyre made of clay
But Ive got something in my soul
And I wanna give it up
But gettin up the nerve
Gettin up the nerve
Gettin up the nerve is a mans mans job
Lovin yous a mans job baby
Lovin yous a mans job
Lovin yous a mans job woman
Lovin yous a mans job

Mans Road
Written by jimmy webb, 1982
Found on the last unicorn soundtrack and your move (french import only).
Horizon rising up to meet the purple dawn
Dust demon screaming, bring an eagle to lead me on
For in my heart I carry such a heavy load
Here I am on mans road, walking mans road, walking mans road
Im hungry, weary, but I cannot lay me down
The rain comes, dreary, but theres no shelter I have found
It will be a long time till I find my abode
Here I am on mans road, walking mans road
Moon rising, disguising lonely streets in gay displays
The stars fade, the night shade falls and makes the world afraid
It waits in silence for the sky to explode
Here I am on mans road, walking mans road, walking mans road
Walking mans road, walking mans road, walking mans road

Love Is A Mans World
Dont you know that the girl left a long time ago
And I find that she took half the blood that I own
And it pains me to think about wasting way the years
So Ill just wash this dirty whiskey glass with my tears
Love is a mans world
Love is a mans world
Love is a mans world
Its a crime the way weve been treatin each other
And a maze in between the real me and the lover
Im tired of believing that I lost all my senses
I never though my imaginary dream would be so expensive
Love is a mans world
Love is a mans world
Love is a mans world
Love is a mans world (etc fade)

Trouble On The Trains
Many of us often have to travel by train,
But the delays and overcrowding drive us insane.
The announcement at the station, informs of delays due to leaf fall,
But the computerized voice used, doesn’t sound very sorry at all.
Your train is now running well over twenty minutes late,
But, annoyingly, you have no choice, but to stand and wait.
At the watch on your wrist, you constantly look,
While some others immerse themselves in a book.
Then there are times when we have the wrong kind of snow,
Which means all of the trains are on a complete go-slow.
Stood on the crowded platform, you look down the track,
But, of a train approaching, unfortunately there’s a big lack.
The train slowly pulls in to the station – it’s finally here,
And from the waiting passengers, up goes a big cheer.
More often than not, there isn’t a spare seat,
So you spend your entire journey stood on your feet.
You stand tightly packed together like a tin of sardines,
Along with a large group of loud, gobby, young teens.
You feel awkward with their public displays of affection,
And quickly avert your eyes in the opposite direction.
At the next station, passenger wise, getting on, are even more,
So now you’re squashed together twice as tightly as before.
Inside the train, it’s getting really hot and stuffy.
Inside you, you’re feeling claustrophobic and puffy.
There are very similar scenes up and down the entire nation,
And you’re overjoyed when you finally reach your destination.

Train
There’s a train that leads to miles away,
It’s a special train, It leaves today.
You’ve looked it up and booked it
Bought your seat,
Invested
You’ve planned your trip
The time you’ll spend
The time you’ll spend away.
It leaves at ten o’clock today.
It’s a special train that leaves today
You’ve looked it up and booked it.
Bought your seat,
Invested.
But all the same, your special train
it angry engine will not wait.
And the timing you’ve neglected
And though you’ve planned the time you’ll spend
Upon your train away.
The special train for which you’ve paid,
the train, it left today.

Train Leaves Here This Morning
I lost ten points just for being in the right place
At exactly the wrong time
I looked right at the facts there, but I may as well have
Been completely blind
So, if you see me walking all alone
Dont look back, Im just on my way back home
Theres a train leaves here this morning, and
I dont know, what I might be on
She signed me to a contract, baby said it would
All be so life long
I looked around then for a reason
When there wasnt something more to blame it on
But, if time makes a difference while were gone
Tell me now, and I wont be hanging on
Theres a train leaves here this morning
And I dont know, what I might be on
Ooo, ooo, ooo.. etc...
1320 north columbus was the address
That I wrote down on my sleeve
I dont know just what she wanted
Might have been that it was getting time to leave
And I watched as the smoker passed it on
And I laughed when the joker said, lead on.
Cause theres a train leaves here this morning
And I dont know, what I might be on
And theres train leaves here this morning
And I dont know, what I might be on
