The German-American
HONOR to him whose very blood remembers
The old, enchanted dream-song of the Rhine,
Although his house of life. is fair with shine
Of fires new-kindled on the buried embers;
Whose heart is wistful for the flowers he tended
Beside his mother, for the caryen gnome
And climbing bear and cuckoo-clock of home,
For the whispering forest path two lovers wended;
Who none the less, still strange in speech and manner,
With our young Freedom keeps his plighted faith,
Sides with his children's hope against the wraith
Of his own childhood, hails the Starry Banner
As emblem of his country now, to-morrow;
A patriot by duty, not by birth.
The costliest loyalty has purest worth.
Honor to him who draws the sword in sorrow!

Flags & Tears & Heros
' For every flag, for every tear, for every Soldier loss.
A pride for One's Country and Freedom rings in Honor and Glory.
To die for Our Country is the most Distinguished Honor.
To all the fallen Soldiers and their Families,
There is never enough Thanks and Salutes for the Honor You gave to this Country.
Your Life is precious to all and you will be missed and remembered.
Watch over us in your new Mission from above.
The Sun will always remind us for the scarify you gave, to make it shine so bright.
The wind is your soul to touch our lives. TY for All you did My Fellow HEROS! ! ! ! '

Proud Old Glory
I am the blood, I am the soul
I am the essence of liberty, so bold
I am the heart, I am the life
I am the dream and the vision, all that's right
I am the hope, I am the truth
I am the faith and the spirit of the aged and the youth
I am the warmth, I am the breath
I am the peace and the honor, life and death
I am justice, I am love
I stand for freedom, and salute our brave
I serve my country with pride
Old Glory is my name, God made this land my home
I am the proud flag of America
I am the proud flag of America.

Courage, Honor, Duty.
Courage is a big word, but not many have that,
Falling apart, full of fear for everything, never became a true diplomat.
Courage is when you face your daily life happily
Enthusiasm, never blame, in calm & peace all the time, not just for temporarily.
Honor is when you learn to have a good manner
Never become a rude gabbler
Honor yourself & others no matter what,
From the heart, never a false performer with a short cut.
Duty is when whatever you do you do it well,
Everything is for your own satisfaction, not for show up, I can tell.
Duty gives you purpose in your life,
With long, healthy & happy feelings, without any strife.
Courage, Honor and Duty what the military is teaching,
Which is a perfect idea for everybody who are living.
If you can adopt these for all the time
Your life will turn into a lovely rhyme.

Fire Brothers
In the valley where the moons and lovers play live two children who were born on Saturday.
One was dark, one was fair, followed by the hawk, mothered by the mare.
Stranger children you will never see, brothers of the forest and the sea,
One was land, one was air, and they kept the fires burning there.
In a golden vessel and silver vase, kept them burning in the strange enchanted
place,
Kept them burning to the sky, for they knew someday the sun would die

The Way That Honor Is
Honor, gold and praised
highlight of life
given to those raised
Honor struts about with the chest puffed out.
All of the achievements won
these past memories recalled and sway
Honor remembers what fun.
How fun it was to win the cause
to beat the challenge.

Children Of Gaza
Ooo! ! ! you young infants of the stolen land
Be strong, you are the seeds of the sand
Rain of missiles showered you every day
the world watch as if it is a comic play
your playground has become a missile garden
And you had become a weed that need to be up rooten
every day of yours, some of you are called by him above
But with tears of sorrow you buried them with love
Ooo! ! ! you children of gaza
Be strong, God will answer your prayer
You have never had a memory of sweet infancies
your childhood is constantly rubbed by plague of brutalities
Your eyes are running water no more
they pumped blood from sorrows core
Ooo! ! ! children of this ruined kingdom
let no one break your spirit, they will call freedom
Ooo! ! ! you children of palestine
Be strong, your home will be a glowing vine
our hand are tied to our eyes
our ears are deaf only few of us heard your cries
But I say to you hold on
It wouldn't be long before you see the sun
It wouldn't be long before we hear your solitary strain
It wouldn't be for ever this pointless emblem of pain
Be strong children of gaza
Freedom will wipe your fear

They Cannot See
Their eyes can not see what to hear,
The path is so strange we do not bear.
Childhood is weak in surrendering
To the way I have explained, the way God is crafting
Openly, for our intellect, and our song-
This song has might and power,
Due to special measures,
Duty arises from this.
I call him a God when he has proven his way,
This is exactly why my life is obeyed.

Troy
She thought it is real love
But she also seeks for freedom
He thought it is a gift of god
But it is also a hidden curse
They thought it's only a matter of heart
But it becomes a fate of the country
He wants his love back
But actually it is his wounded pride
He excuses it as a battle of honor
But it is actually a war of greed
They thought it is a fair consequence
They didn't count the sacrifice the others should make
Why for love they all could hate
Why for life they all could hurt
He doesn't care about love
All he wants is the glory
He thought it is to fulfill the pledge
Now all he yearns is to go home
They thought it is a simple mission
But actually it forces them to question their loyalty
He thought it is love worth to protect
Even though it costs his life
He always expected to be a great ruler for his kingdom
But he could put it aside and be a good father
They thought it's a part of their duty
But it also a choice of their destiny
Why hero should raise from tragedy
Why lover should bloom from enemy
He thought that love is courage
He wants to prove it by becoming a warrior
He acts like he is a respectable ally
Though he feels like walking on the tip of the sword
They thought they have control for what they doing
But in the end of the day what they got
She has a warning about love
But no one would ever listen to her
She has long be abandoned
Now she would get her revenge
They thought they are too weak to involve with their future
Now they'll struggle with their own power
Why men leave only to fight
Why women left only to pray
When the divine lead their mortal player
And human trapped in their desire
The legend would be born
And the myth would be written

The Beauti Of Sorrow
Beauti of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
conceptually multiplied
virtually personified
politically religified
perceptually cubified
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
life is a beauty
living our prize
to share them our duty*
effects all our lives*
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
running reel of thoughts
projection of the mind
independent performing plots
and a function to define
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
many a different beauties
shine in a single sorrow
many a different evenings
raise a plethora of tomorrows
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
contemplation of all thats left
the final mystery announced
a souls a speck of a black hole's death
so evil, and good renounce
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
sorrow isn't knowing now
knowing hurts so much
hurt is hope that holds you down
ego is a common crutch
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me

Oh What A Love
Oh what a love, thatll bind the wounds of a loss and heal my heart
Oh what a love, to cast away the pain
Oh what a love, thatll bear for me the cost of a brand new start
Oh what a love, to let me begin again
Oh what a life, thatll brighten up the corners of a lonely life
Oh what a life, to cast away the rain
Oh what a life to remove the gloom I face in the dark alone
Oh what a life, I believe I can see again
I remember the day
We walked on the beach till sunset, then we sang
And the songs we played were a promise of love thatll honor beyond the grave
Oh what a song, learned from the sea taught slowly to the young
Oh what a song, to cast away the rain
Oh what a song, to break the bonds of fear and still the sound
Oh what a song, I believe I can sing again
I remember the day we met at a place of hope, I took what you gave
And the words wed say were a promise of love thatll honor beyond the grave

To Every Fallen Soldier
-- * TO EVERY FALLEN SOLDIER * --
The honor of the Country
Given to a Hero true.
This honorable young soldier
Who died for me and you.
To every fallen soldier
No matter, heritage or creed,
Who fought bravely for country
Due to someone else's greed.
Returned in flag draped coffin
No more laughter or joy to share.
A solemn trip into the prairie.....
A Spirit Crossing, there......
As Mothers weep in sorrow
Wives crying out in pain,
The earthly presence of this child
In life, we can't retain.
This honor, we do give you.
It's not enough, we know.
But to all these sons and daughters,
This Honor, now, we bestow.

On A Candle
Of all inhabitants on earth,
To man alone I owe my birth,
And yet the cow, the sheep, the bee,
Are all my parents more than he:
I, a virtue, strange and rare,
Make the fairest look more fair,
And myself, which yet is rarer,
Growing old, grow still the fairer.
Like sots, alone I'm dull enough,
When dosed with smoke, and smear'd with snuff;
But, in the midst of mirth and wine,
I with double lustre shine.
Emblem of the Fair am I,
Polish'd neck, and radiant eye;
In my eye my greatest grace,
Emblem of the Cyclops' race;
Metals I like them subdue,
Slave like them to Vulcan too;
Emblem of a monarch old,
Wise, and glorious to behold;
Wasted he appears, and pale,
Watching for the public weal:
Emblem of the bashful dame,
That in secret feeds her flame,
Often aiding to impart
All the secrets of her heart;
Various is my bulk and hue,
Big like Bess, and small like Sue:
Now brown and burnish'd like a nut,
At other times a very slut;
Often fair, and soft, and tender,
Taper, tall, and smooth, and slender:
Like Flora, deck'd with various flowers,
Like Phoebus, guardian of the hours:
But whatever be my dress,
Greater be my size or less,
Swelling be my shape or small,
Like thyself I shine in all.
Clouded if my face is seen,
My complexion wan and green,
Languid like a love-sick maid,
Steel affords me present aid.
Soon or late, my date is done,
As my thread of life is spun;
Yet to cut the fatal thread
Oft revives my drooping head;
Yet I perish in my prime,
Seldom by the death of time;
Die like lovers as they gaze,
Die for those I live to please;
Pine unpitied to my urn,
Nor warm the fair for whom I burn:
Unpitied, unlamented too,
Die like all that look on you.

She is Far From the Land
She is far from the land where her young hero sleeps,
And lovers are round her, sighing;
But coldly she turns from their gaze, and weeps,
For her heart in his grave is lying.
She sings the wild song of her dear native plains,
Every note which he loved awaking; --
Ah! little they think, who delight in her strains,
How the heart of the Minstrel is breaking.
He had lived for his love, for his country he died,
They were all that to life had entwined him;
Nor soon shall the tears of his country be dried,
Nor long will his Love stay behind him.
Oh! make her a grave where the sunbeams rest,
When they promise a glorious morrow;
They'll shine o'er her sleep, like a smile from the West,
From her own loved island of sorrow.

The Pine Tree
LIFT again the stately emblem on the Bay State's rusted shield,
Give to Northern winds the Pine-Tree on our banner's tattered field.
Sons of men who sat in council with their Bibles round the board,
Answering England's royal missive with a firm, 'Thus saith the Lord!'
Rise again for home and freedom! set the battle in array!
What the fathers did of old time we their sons must do to-day.
Tell us not of banks and tariffs, cease your paltry pedler cries;
Shall the good State sink her honor that your gambling stocks may rise?
Would ye barter man for cotton? That your gains may sum up higher,
Must we kiss the feet of Moloch, pass our children through the fire?
Is the dollar only real? God and truth and right a dream?
Weighed against your lying ledgers must our manhood kick the beam?
O my God! for that free spirit, which of old in Boston town
Smote the Province House with terror, struck the crest of Andros down!
For another strong-voiced Adams in the city's streets to cry,
'Up for God and Massachusetts! Set your feet on Mammon's lie!
Perish banks and perish traffic, spin your cotton's latest pound,
But in Heaven's name keep your honor, keep the heart o' the Bay State sound!'
Where's the man for Massachusetts! Where's the voice to speak her free?
Where's the hand to light up bonfires from her mountains to the sea?
Beats her Pilgrim pulse no longer? Sits she dumb in her despair?
Has she none to break the silence? Has she none to do and dare?
O my God! for one right worthy to lift up her rushed shield,
And to plant again the Pine-Tree in her banner's tattered field!

Peace In Our Time
Go swiftly
The flags and drums can hypnotise
When glory has faded the dream
Is worth more than the prize
A twisting turning flame
And a freedom burning bright
Knows all of the names
And all of the games
Of the yellow black and white
Weve gotta have faith
To work it out
Faith and hope
Without any doubt
Give us strenght to make a start
Put a song in our hearts.....
Chorus:
Were never gonna break down these walls
And build a prison with the stone
cos you and I know what love is worth
Were gonna build heaven on earth
Were running in the wheels of fortune
Turning water into wine
Were gonna take love and make it shine
Were gonna find peace in our time
Softly, softly
When there is lightening in the sky
When the rivers are rising and
Trouble rolls in on the tide
Well keep on keeping on
til all the tears are dry
Well weather the storm and
Welcome the dawn
Of tomorrow you and i
Weve gotta have faith
And get it fast, faith and hope
And make it last
Give us strength
To reach the stars
Put a song in our hearts
Repeat chorus
Solo
Were raisin the dust
Its heaven or bust
And well see this dream come true
Were gonna have faith.....(faith)
The road will be long
But theres hope.....(hope)
To carry us on
Well have strength....(strength)
Well never go wrong
With this song in our hearts
Repeat chorus
At the sign (sign)
Of the dove
Its gonna shine (shine)
Shine (shine)
Shine (shine)
On a wing
And a prayer
Well be fine
Fine
Fine
Repeat chorus til fade

A Christmas Carol, Sung to the King in the Presence at White-Hall
Chorus.
What sweeter music can we bring,
Than a Carol, for to sing
The Birth of this our heavenly King?
Awake the Voice! Awake the String!
Heart, Ear, and Eye, and every thing
Awake! the while the active Finger
Runs division with the Singer.
From the Flourish they came to the Song.
Voice 1:
Dark and dull night, fly hence away,
And give the honor to this Day,
That sees December turn'd to May.
Voice 2:
If we may ask the reason, say:
The why, and wherefore all things here
Seem like the Spring-time fo the year?
Voice 3:
Why does the chilling Winter's morn
Smile, like a field beset with corn?
Or smell, like to a mead new-shorn,
Thus, on the sudden?
Voice 4:
Come and see
The cause, why things thus fragrant be:
'Tis He is born, whose quick'ning Birth
Gives life and luster, public mirth,
To Heaven and the under-Earth.
Chorus:
We see Him come, and know Him ours,
Who, with His Sun-shine, and His Showers,
Turns all the patient ground to flowers.
Voice 1:
The Darling of the World is come,
And fit it is, we find a room
To welcome Him.
Voice 2:
The nobler part
Of all the house here, is the Heart,
Chorus:
Which we will give Him; and bequeath
This Holly and this Ivy Wreath,
To do Him honor; who's our King,
And Lord of all this Revelling.

D Day
Vast field of lonely soldiers graves
Grown over with grass and clover
They are gone, their country saved
Young flowers, their ghost still hovers
Today clouds fill the morning sky
Green vernal spring seems so sad
Tears swell in old veteran's eyes
Here to honor these fallen lads
Broken hearts of dads and mothers
Barely children they gave their all
Forget not these sons and daughters
Brave soldiers of freedoms call
Hear the trumpet play the taps
Say a prayer with a tear shed
Let the flags fly half mast
We honor their life's and deaths
Buried on foreign soil
Name after name, row after row
Gone from this mortal coil
Covered by grass, rain and snow
The guns of D Day are now silent

Union and Liberty
FLAG of the heroes who left us their glory,
Borne through their battle-fields' thunder and flame,
Blazoned in song and illumined in story,
Wave o'er us all who inherit their fame!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!
Light of our firmament, guide of our Nation,
Pride of her children, and honored afar,
Let the wide beams of thy full constellation
Scatter each cloud that would darken a star!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!
Empire unsceptred! what foe shall assail thee,
Bearing the standard of Liberty's van?
Think not the God of thy fathers shall fail thee,
Striving with men for the birthright of man!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!
Yet if, by madness and treachery blighted,
Dawns the dark hour when the sword thou must draw,
Then with the arms of thy millions united,
Smite the bold traitors to Freedom and Law!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!
Lord of the Universe! shield us and guide us,
Trusting Thee always, through shadow and sun!
Thou hast united us, who shall divide us?
Keep us, oh keep us the MANY IN ONE!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!

Cuckoo Song
(Spring begins in southern England on the 14th April, on which date the Old Woman lets the Cuckoo out of her basket at Heathfield Fair -- locally known as Heffle Cuckoo Fair.)
Tell it to the locked-up trees,
Cuckoo, bring your song here!
Warrant, Act and Summons, please,
For Spring to pass along here!
Tell old Winder, if he doubt,
Tell him squat and square -- a!
Old Woman!
Old Woman!
Old Woman's let the Cuckoo out
At Heffle Cuckoo Fair -- a!
March has searched and April tried --
'Tisn't long to Mary now.
Not so far to Whitsuntide
And Cuckoo's come to stay now!
Hear the valiant fellow shout
Down the orchard bare -- a!
Old Woman!
Old Woman!
Old Woman's let the Cuckoo out
At Heffle Cuckoo Fair -- a!
When your heart is young and gay
And the season rules it --
Work your works and play your play
'Fore the Autumn cools it!
Kiss you turn and turn-about,
But my lad, beware -- a!
Old Woman!
Old Woman!
Old Woman's let the Cuckoo out
At Heffle Cuckoo Fair -- a!

Up From Your Life
So much for your moment of prayer
Gods not at home
There is no there there
Lost in the stars
Thats what you are
Left here on your own
You can only hope to live on this earth
This here is it, for all its worth
Nothing else awaits you
No second birth
No starry crown
For an un-believer like you
Theres not much they can do
It would turn you away
Though I hate to see you surrender
You need to surrender
We must find you a way to
Chorus:
Look up from your life
Up from your life
Look on up from your life
Look up from your life
Theres a river running under your feet
Under this house
Under this street
Straight from the heart
Ancient and sweet
On its way back home
Even in the middle of your sadness
The everyday madness
The ongoing game
Even when you cant find a reason
Still there is a reason
You dont need to name it
Look on up
Look up from your life
Only for a minute
To find yourself in it
To wait by the stream
To drop out of your dream
Look on up
Look up from your life
