Hope For Him
O friend! hope for Him whilst you live, know whilst you live,
understand whilst you live: for in life deliverance abides.
If your bonds be not broken whilst living, what hope of
deliverance in death?
It is but an empty dream, that the soul shall have union with Him
because it has passed from the body:
If He is found now, He is found then,
If not, we do but go to dwell in the City of Death.
If you have union now, you shall have it hereafter.
Bathe in the truth, know the true Guru, have faith in the true
Name!
Kabîr says: 'It is the Spirit of the quest which helps; I am the slave of this Spirit of the quest.

Hope For Him
O friend! Hope for Him whilst you live!
If your bonds are but an emptiness
Understand the prose of your Maker;
If you break the bonds of slavery
This day shall be mankind’s slaughter;
For in life we know this loves me
As I am a friend who bellows forth
Echoes in the valley of your desire.
It is but an empty dream, that the soul shall
Have union with Him
Because it has passed from the body.

Hope Of Deliverance
I will always be hoping, hoping.
You will always be holding, holding
My heart in your hand. I will understand.
I will understand someday, one day.
You will understand always,
Always from now until then.
When it will be right, I dont know.
What it will be like, I dont know.
We live in hope of deliverance from the darkness that surrounds us.
Hope of deliverance, hope of deliverance.
Hope of deliverance from the darkness that surrounds us.
And I wouldnt mind knowing, knowing
That you wouldnt mind going, going along with my plan.
When it will be right, I dont know.
What it will be like, I dont know.
We live in hope of deliverance from the darkness that surrounds us.
Hope of deliverance, hope of deliverance.
Hope of deliverance from the darkness that surrounds us.
Hope of deliverance, hope of deliverance.
Hope of deliverance from the darkness that surrounds us.
Hope of deliverance, hope of deliverance.
Hope of deliverance from the darkness that surrounds us.
Hope of deliverance, hope of deliverance.
Hope of deliverance from the darkness that surrounds us.

We Need But Ask
Its sad to see our neighbours fall
To see our families fail
Its sad that they reject God’s call
And spend their lives in jail
This age of car and aeroplane
Of spaceships to the moon
Man’s wanton lust and selfish gain
Though Christ is coming soon
They’ve been to school they’ve grown so wise
But still The Truth they doubt
Their selfish pride has closed their eyes
To what this life’s about
They fail to see the facts at hand
The devil’s robbed their sight
Whilst heads are stuck in shifting sand
They fail to see The Light
No thought of death and coming wrath
No thought of Heaven’s will
Choosing instead the devil’s path
They hope life’s hopes to fill
Whilst Satan yet controls their mind
Whilst evil fills their heart
They’ll wander lost and total blind
And have from life no part
God’s Son alone can save their soul
God’s Son alone can heal
God’s Son alone can make them whole
If when to Him they kneel
It matters not how deep we’ve trod
How shameful yet we live
We need but seek The Son of God
And ask Him to forgive

The Time Before Death
Friend? hope for the Guest while you are alive.
Jump into experience while you are alive!
Think... and think... while you are alive.
What you call 'salvation' belongs to the time
before death.
If you don't break your ropes while you're alive,
do you think ghosts will do it after?
The idea that the soul will join with the ecstatic
just because the body is rotten --
that is all fantasy.
What is found now is found then.
If you find nothing now,
you will simply end up with an apartment in the
City of Death.
If you make love with the divine now, in the next
life you will have the face of satisfied desire.
So plunge into the truth, find out who the Teacher is,
Believe in the Great Sound!
Kabir says this: When the Guest is being searched for,
it is the intensity of the longing for the Guest
that does all the work.
Look at me, and you will see a slave of that intensity.
To be a Slave of Intensity
Friend, hope for the guest while you are alive.
Jump into experience while you are alive!
Think...and think...while you are alive.

When Knowledge Comes
Of self, to God no sinners turn
Through pride, no kneel will bend
Convicting Fire inside must burn
Through whom The Lord will send
Remove; the devil’s sweet disguise
Bring forth to God what’s real
Expose the filth to holy eyes
The truth in Christ reveal
Be wise God’s child to right and wrong
Beware of Satan’s snares
Refuse to sing the devil’s song
Partake no more his wares
When faith takes captive all unknown
When hope of life is seen
When truth is sat upon his throne
God’s Son has found His queen
Till then His arms are open wide
We’ll hear Salvation cry
We’ll see through faith to walk inside
To dwell in peace on high
Caress God’s Light within your soul
With all your strength hold tight
Have faith in Christ fulfil your goal
Receive your robe of Light
With faith developed in Jesus’ hand
Whilst truth is our to hold
Whilst grace is given to understand
Remain within the fold
For even faith will bend her knee
Once knowledge comes to reign
All this; man’s eyes will surely see
When Jesus comes again

What To One Is Truth
The truth can be hurtful when spoken without ruth
But then suppose the truth it is the truth
And one lie leads to another it is said
And deceit can only live where truth is dead
But what to one is truth to another is not so
Why this should be you ask one who might know
You ask some how good is that and they say great
Whilst others answer only second rate
We all do look at life quite differently
And what's true to you may not be true to me
Though what's true to me may not be entirely so to you
To the higher self we should try to stay true
And though it's praises we may like to sing
The raw truth it can prove a hurtful thing.

The Doctrine of Christ
While abiding in the doctrine of Christ, we have hope of Eternal Life,
With The Truths Christ would impart, unto every true, believing heart,
Describing a sevenfold foundation, which, undergirds our Salvation,
A Salvation in which we can trust, all through our Lord, Christ Jesus.
First, God has just one true Body, One True Church for you and me,
A Body, where Christ is The Head, as others remain spiritually dead;
Then, there’s only one Spirit of God, for all believers on earth’s sod,
Christ’s Spirit that leads us each day, to live life on The Narrow Way.
We’ve but, One Hope in this world, our hope in Christ that we herald,
The Hope we have in Jesus Christ, Who shall take us all to Paradise;
As the Body has but One Lord, Jesus Christ, the one Savior adored,
By all, who truly belong to God, Who leads us all, with staff and rod.
Fifth, we all have but one Faith, that we’ve come to by God’s Grace,
But one Faith, held by all God’s own, our faith in Jesus Christ alone;
Then, there’s only one Baptism, standing apart from every other ism,
Our baptism through God’s Spirit, when believing Truth as we hear it.
There’s but One God for all of us, The Eternal Father of Christ Jesus,
Our Eternal Father and Creator, Who gave to us, our Blessed Savior;
All of these are found in our foundation, right from God’s Revelation,
Our foundation on which we stand, until we reach the Promised Land.
Shaking The Pagoda
Their seething toil churned
And churned and churned
The confined milky-ocean labouring
Whilst Vasuki's fanged venom
Throttling Shiva, Parvathi to scurry
All in spirit of unity rose up
Karpaga, Kamadenu.Mahalakshmi, Dhanvantri
And a potful of Amrit afloat
Be dished out to Devas
Whilst whorls storming the serpent
Their raging hilarity acquired
Perfumed with Karpaga all else in heaven
Decreed Devas won to declare Asuras driven
Whilst the asuras sheltering in humans
Deceived to avenge awaiting to betray
All in desirous guise Asuras sown
In a hush of reach to shake Karpaga
Possessed humans shaped up
Their masquerade named Desire
Whilst Asuras grading up to greed
Their craving quest humans coveted, coveting
For alltime bestowment to shake Karpaga
Illusorily on rungs of forbidden piety
Whilst Asuras delivering anger, enmity, hatred
Laddering and befriending lust and greed in hell

Hope Again
HOPE AGAIN
Hope again.
What are without Hope?
If we cannot Hope
We cannot live.
And what do we need to hope for?
A small thing?
A crust of bread?
Any dream that helps us believe in ourselves again?
The morning light-
Beauty Truth Goodness.
A word of kindness.
Love true Love.
The greatest and the smallest things.
Hope gives us life
We need hope to live
Thank God for all the times in my life when unending despair ended
And Hope has begun again.

Dream Of A Dream
I'll dream about you when I sleep tonight
Dream about what some wouldn't consider right
Dream about your touch
That I long for so much
Dream about my hope for a future with you
And that feeling of having something new
Something so wonderful and with all the meaning in the world to me
Something that would give me so much glee
And is sure to change my life undoubtedly
I'll dream about the memories we'll share
And all those good times, whilst for each other we care
I'll dream a dream sure to raise my heart
Then to brake it as from dreamland I depart
I talk of a story of a dream
A dream sure to redeem...
What has been lost from me for so long...
My life. Now seemingly so wrong
A dream I hope, but doubt to come true
But will continue to hope for no matter what I do
This is a dream of a dream of mine
A dream, that if should ever come true, I would not decline

Mutability - II.
I.
The flower that smiles to-day
To-morrow dies;
All that we wish to stay
Tempts and then flies.
What is this world’s delight?
Lightning that mocks the night,
Brief even as bright.
II.
Virtue, how frail it is!
Friendship how rare!
Love, how it sells poor bliss
For proud despair!
But we, though soon they fall,
Survive their joy, and all
Which ours we call.
III.
Whilst skies are blue and bright,
Whilst flowers are gay,
Whilst eyes that change ere night
Make glad the day;
Whilst yet the calm hours creep,
Dream thou—and from thy sleep
Then wake to weep.

We Need More Love And Understanding Of Others
We need more love and understanding of others in the World we live in today
Materialism and greed for money is the cause of spiritual decay
The gap between the haves and the have nots keeps widening and too many live in poverty
How can you feel love if you are hungry and homeless love doesn't bloom amongst penury
There are millions of angry people in the bigger World out there
And who can blame them for feeling unloved and of hope living in despair
They become poorer whilst a minority grow wealthier life on them is not very fair
Without food the body does not survive one cannot live entirely on air
The wealthy keep on getting wealthier money makes more money as some do say
The greed of some gives rise to poverty for others it does seem for to be this way
Some waste food the bounty of Nature whilst many don't have food to eat
The great gifts of love and understanding of others are strangers to poverty street
And the wealthy as ever growing wealthier in their case it is much wants more
In a World where millions are growing poorer the people we tend to ignore.

Faith, Hope and Love
With faith, hope and love, let us we pray.
We believe in this new union today,
And hope that it will always display
Mutual love, respect and equal say.
There’ll be highs and lows in future years.
Many smiles though a few tears.
A wondrous future there’ll always be
If faith, hope and love are family.
Through tribulations this union will need
To be placed ahead of self wants and greed.
At times success will need a healthy shove
From large daily doses of faith, hope and love.
This union’s endurance for eternity
Depends on putting “you” in place of “me”.
And each day of every year
To say, “I love you, my dear.”
Faith, hope and love will then live
As constant companions to give and give.

The Divine Lover
I
Me Lord? can’st thou mispend
One word, misplace one look on me?
Call’st me thy Love, thy Friend?
Can this poor soul the object be
Of these love-glances, those life-kindling eyes?
What? I the Centre of thy arms embraces?
Of all thy labour I the prize?
Love never mocks, Truth never lies.
Oh how I quake: Hope fear, fear hope displaces:
I would, but cannot hope: such wondrous love amazes.
II
See, I am black as night,
See I am darkness: dark as hell.
Lord thou more fair than light;
Heav’ns Sun thy Shadow; can Sunns dwell
With Shades? ’twixt light, and darkness what commerce?
True: thou art darkness, I thy Light: my ray
Thy mists, and hellish foggs shall pierce.
With me, black soul, with me converse.
I make the foul December flowry May,
Turn thou thy night to me: I’le turn thy night to day.
III
See Lord, see I am dead:
Tomb’d in my self: my self my grave
A drudge: so born, so bred:
My self even to my self a slave.
Thou Freedom, Life: can Life, and Liberty
Love bondage, death? Thy Freedom I: I tyed
To loose thy bonds: be bound to me:
My Yoke shall ease, my bonds shall free.
Dead soul, thy Spring of life, my dying side:
There dye with me to live: to live in thee I dyed.

On The Dark Height of Jura
I.
Ghosts of the dead! have I not heard your yelling
Rise on the night-rolling breath of the blast,
When o’er the dark aether the tempest is swelling,
And on eddying whirlwind the thunder-peal passed?
II.
For oft have I stood on the dark height of Jura
Which frowns on the valley that opens beneath;
Oft have I braved the chill night-tempest's fury,
Whilst around me, I thought, echoed murmurs of death.
III.
And now, whilst the winds of the mountain are howling,
O father! thy voice seems to strike on mine ear;
In air whilst the tide of the night-storm is rolling,
It breaks on the pause of the elements' jar.
IV.
On the wing of the whirlwind which roars o'er the mountain
Perhaps rides the ghost of my sire who is dead:
On the mist of the tempest which hangs o'er the fountain,
Whilst a wreath of dark vapour encircles his head.

Prayer to Sandman
Sandman, heave my head
For I have stained my hands
With blood and anguish
I found in virulent berries
I will take your gift as a punishment
As I lunge into wakefulness
Towards my penchant for people
Of lovely and nubile words
From their vestal gaiety
A wonderful profusion of fantasy;
That is, and will never be.
Beneath the thicket of periwinkles
And the cold belly of the earth
I will buoy my apprehensions
In a slumber induced by your grains
Perhaps, from the sands of time.
Puissant Sandman,
Before you jeopardize me
Let me show you how I freeze
On this incorporeal nakedness
As I till a barren soil
And condense with the milieu.
Watch me die whilst living
And live whilst dying,
So you can truly vindicate me.

Sonnet XL: But Love
But love whilst that thou mayst be lov'd again,
Now whilst thy May hath fill'd thy lap with flowers;
Now, whilst thy beauty bears without a stain,
Now use thy Summer smiles ere Winter lours.
And whilst thou spread'st unto the rising sun,
The fairest flower that ever saw the light,
Now joy thy time before thy sweet be done;
And, Delia, think thy morning must have night,
And that thy brightness sets at length to west,
When thou wilt close up that which now thou showest,
And think the same becomes thy fading best
Which then shall hide it most and cover lowest.
Men do not weigh the stalk for that it was;
When once they find her flower, her glory pass.
