A Prison Paradise

A prison paradise of planes,
Sulfur-spewing cones, foreboding drains,
Deadly dysentery, parasites,
Sad, tortured days and sleepless nights!

Protect the children for awhile, until
They come of age, then watch them gag and spill
And writhe in vile contempt before their death—
Blood-flooded lungs gasping for breath!

O fallen ones, I bid you fond farewell,
And where the journey ends no one can tell,
But blindly guess between two vast extremes—
A desert and a tundra of dead dreams!

The litebrite's now black and white
Cause you took apart a picture that wasn't right
Pitch burning on a shining sheet
The only maker that you'd want to meet
The dying man in a living room
Who's shadow paces the floor
Who'll take you out in the open door
This is not my life
It's just a fond farewell to a friend

All night before the brink of death

For through the dream that stilled their breath
Too gauntly glared the coming day.

The Howler

There is blood
dripping, dripping
off snow white paws,
ice perfection,
caeser beauty.

You howl, dark, blood stained muzzle
piercing the air
the cold, cold broken air
that shatters soul and
thought and prose.

Your hackles raised your amber sockets
your fire-light eyes
dancing, grinning, lolling jaws
gasping
Lungs shattering-frozen glass.

You are a blizzard,
tearing across the
frozen tundra
confidence in essence,
you alone- the world your
enemy, your
arena, your solace.

You are cold, an ice sculpture-
somehow melting, but ever slow

Dreams

What is missing during the days
Can be retrieved during the nights,

Nights are not found after sunsets
Or in the midst of hours of darkness,

Conjuring things that have not been
And walking among them,

No Peace Anymore

All the troubles and wars
blood spills and pours
this is the times of revelation
that we destroy all creation
blue skies turn black
days gone we can't get back
this is the end of time
we crossed that thin line
their's no peace anymore

And this is all we have left
between love and theft
children killing children
these are the things we teach them
behind locked doors
their's no peace anymore

Tear down the walls
just to put up new ones
mankind falls
still we never learn
we just let it all burn
their's no peace anymore

We suffer persecution
tortured and put to death
for your belief
you're only just a martyr
in your eye we mortify
as we watch another one die
take your last breath
this is all that remains
their's no peace anymore

Tied to chains
you hide behind repulsion

one with power refrains

Assassinated

The night was dark
As she walked on and on

The scream pierced her ears
As she stopped to listen

Her neck felt cold
By the blade of the knife

Her breath came in a gasp
Her lungs were exploding

But the hand on her mouth
Was strong and unwavering

She saw her death coming
In the stream of blood flowing

Screaming her last scream
She fell to the ground

Welcoming the death
As the pain let her go

Her heart did not beat

radiation is raw spewing into the sea
off island of Honshū from number two
nuclear reactor at crippled Fukushima
nuclear power plant seeding sea currents
lethal death ray deadly spray radiation

radiation ripped glow fish soon no fish
dead sea hot zone death creeping raw
radiation still spewing seeping fear fish
cooked on your plate nice steaming but
what was it eating where swimming past

radiation survivors swimming is building
up in sea food chain levels concentrating
building in plankton for choice whale meat
building in snapper tuna fish for your dish

The Prisoner

I lash and writhe against my prison bars,
And watch with sullen eyes the gaping crowd . .
Give me my freedom and the burning stars,
The hollow sky, and crags of moonlit cloud!

Once I might range across the trackless plain,
And roar with joy, until the desert air
And wide horizons echoed it amain:
I feared no foe, for I was monarch there!

I saw my shadow on the parching sand,
When the hot sun had kissed the mountain's rim;
And when the moon rose o'er long wastes of land,
I sought my prey by some still river's brim;

And with me my fierce love, my tawny mate,
Meet mother of strong cubs, meet lion's bride . .
We made our lair in regions desolate,
The solitude of wildernesses wide.

They slew her . . . and I watched the life-blood flow
From her torn flank, and her proud eyes grow dim:
I howled her dirge above her while the low,
Red moon clomb up the black horizon's rim.

Me, they entrapped . . . cowards! They did not dare
To fight. as brave men do, without disguise,
And face my unleashed rage! The hidden snare
Was their device to win an untamed prize.

I am a captive . . . not for me the vast,
White dome of sky above the blinding sand,
The sweeping rapture of the desert blast
Across long ranges of untrodden land!

Yet still they fetter not my thought! In dreams
I, desert-born, tread the hot wastes once more,
Quench my deep thirst in cool, untainted streams,
And shake the darkness with my kingly roar!

The Kiss of Death

I
There she lay
Her soul astray
Her cruel lips
Where my soul slips
Into the taste of death
To find her breath
The breath of pain,
Where souls are slain
Death does not kill pain!
It lives in the one who suffer from it.

Death is the ultimate symbol of life
Its deadly kiss pierces harder
Than the plunge of a sharpen knife….
