The Grass Is Blue

i've had to think of a way to survive since you said it's over told me good-bye
i just can't make it one day without you unless i pretend that the opposites true
rivers flow backwards
valleys are high
mountains are level
truth is a lie
i'm perflectly fine
and i don't miss you
the sky is green and the grass is blue

how much can a heart and a troubled mind take
where is that fine line before it all breaks
can one end their sorrow just cross over it
and into that relm of instantive bliss
there's snow in the tropics
there's ice on the sun
it's hot in the Artic
and crying is fun

Daivame

The rivers have sung a powerful song
A song of fury
The song that echoed even in the mountain peaks
One with red flames
The rivers have kept it in its womb
And when the song arrived
Rivers, the mothers whispered words of anger
and tunes of war into its tender but willing ears
The world waited for it as if for the coming of the spring
And those who heard it;
some died on the spot
some resurrected
many forgot themselves
The priest crossed himself
The God Almighty smiled to himself
I kept on looking at the reflection in the ocean!

On the wings of youth…

Mayfly if ever an angel be
It was you and me
Pirouetting in the air so free
Above a cobweb lea…

If ever a child had azure blue wings
As blue as a periwinkle sky
Then sweet tenderfoot, swimming
It must have been you and I.

Down amongst the meadows
Where the green-woods wend:
Down amongst the willows
Where the reeds draught an end.

There I came a dancing…
A roving like a bee
With honey-dew brown eyes,

The Woods

The trees flow around me
The cool air whips my face
The green of the tree
I have left no trace

I see my dogs running with pure adrenaline
The peace of the woods along no trail
The pure happiness of my dogs
The fast wagging tails

I find a nice tree
The urge to sit down hits me
I watch my dogs and I watch the tree that is thin
It is time for me to think, find what’s within

I need to start over
It’s time to end this persona

Let Me Wake Up Young

Let me wake up young at early dawn again
And welcome the showers of spring first rain
Let me love and peer up at the morning sun
With half shut eyes and comfortable fresh cheek
Let me live a sweet life tale full often to seek
Through meadows and pathless woods where rivers fall and run
Let me love again my brightest beautiful one
Of heaven and divine let me slowly speak
These love tunes to the night and the starlight meek
Or the moon, if that her hunting be begun
Let me know, let me relive these delights and be prone
To moralize upon a smile and a tear
And find at once a region in a world of my own
A meadow, a bower for my spirit where it will steer
To alleys of forest gloom where pine tree dropp their cone
Where foxes hide, robins chirp and leaves are fallen sere

Let me wake up in strength and vigor hope
Worship the morning, the mystic night, the light the shade and lush lea on slope
Let me glance again fresh on wide plains, fair foliage trees, and at sprouting flowers
Call on birds over clear streams, smooth calm lakes, and long stretched bowers
Let me lost in the happiness of pathless woods with tall towers

At Michael Sars's Grave

Ever he would roam
Toward th' eternal home;
From the least life deep in ocean
To each gleam of stars in motion,
Worth of all he weighed.
Now the Lord lends aid.

Still he passed beyond,
Softly dreaming; fond
Nature met him as her lover.
God with strength his soul shall cover
'Mid the starry throng
Through the spheres' pure song.

Even here on earth
Harmony's sweet birth-
When discovery new truth sunders,
When the small reveals its wonders-
Filled his soul with song
For the ages long.

Where his watch he kept,
Eyes a hundred swept.
Where millenniums sand assembled,
Where the tiniest life-pulse trembled,
There he sought the clue,
Silent, wise, and true.

Searching he saw pass
All the ocean's life; his thinking
To unfathomed deeps was sinking;

The Failed Mystic

When I was young, the wind in the trees
Brought intimations of the Great Spirit.
Later, I suffered from a grey disease
And my soul was like an apple, rotten to the core.

I used to try to freeze Eternity
Into one single Moment,
Stand on a hill-top and try to transfix
The Beauty of Nature like a
Final Butterfly captured Forever.
It was a hopeless task.

Later, I wrote down my Vision
In poems of no merit
And dreamed of Immortality.

Now I cannot say You were always there,
Knocking at my door,
Beckoning me to a life of Love through Action.

It isn't true.

I was fumbling about in the darkness,
Trying to be sure,
To find my Vocation in the dullest chore,
Like saints do.

I always wanted to be special,
The centre, not on the periphery,
To be loved.......

But tell me, Great Spirit, is there no cure?

Night Fall

The Night Fall

My evening walk was interrupted by night. Keeping close the verge
of the road I fell down a ditch, and saw stars as never before.
A kaleidoscope of colours swiveling around and around in my head
Life, we never see in daylight, was all around me, spirit shadows in
a haste to find food and safety before man intruded. Knew I had
caused chaos in their life, I got out of there and heard silent relief.
Starry, starry night, as the song goes, trees moved and whispered
scary stories about the man with the chainsaw, whether it is true
there is a Paradise for trees. Wished I could tell them a tall story
with a happy ending- no turning into winter woods and ashes for
them, but a malevolent mule kept kicking me home as it wanted
the night to itself.

For i am here like one of the children of your children,
So don't see my disability and run away! !
For i am the one for your true heart.

Please do not dropp me like the toilet roll,
For i am deep rooted in your love!
And, don't throw me away like the water from the shower bathe.

The pine woods on the hill,

Showed clear as though behind a lens
Under a sky of peacock blue!
