Daedalus in Sicily
All his life he was building something, inventing something.
Now, for a Cretan queen, an artificial heifer,
so as to cuckold the king. Then a labyrinth, the time for
the king himself, to hide from bewildered glances
an unbearable offspring. Or a flying contraption, when
the king figured himself so busy with new commissions.
The son of that journey perished falling into the sea,
like Phaeton, who, they say, also spurned his father’s
orders. Here, in Sicily, stiff on its scorching sand,
sits a very old man, capable of transporting
himself through the air, if robbed of other means of passage.
All his life he was building something, inventing something.
All his life from those clever constructions m from those inventions,
he had to flee. As though inventions
and constructions are anxious to rid themselves of their blueprints
like children ashamed of their parents, Presumably, that’s the fear
of replication. Waves are running onto the sand;
behind, shine the tusks of the local mountains.
Yet he had already invented, when he was young, the seesaw,
using the strong resemblance between motion and stasis.
The old man bends down, ties to his brittle ankle
(so as not to get lost) a lengthy thread,
straightens up with a grunt, and heads out for Hades.

Cleverness
Friendship,
Fellowship,
A clever boy sits among you;
And out of the smell came something sweet.
Of a dog and a monkey,
Of a goat and a donkey,
A clever girl sits among you;
And out of the smell came something sweet.
The character of man,
A clever man sits among you;
The character of woman,
A clever woman sits among you;
And out of the smell came something sweet.
A man marries and doesn't want children,
A woman marries and doesn't want children,
Like a stolen money tithed off!
For out of something very sad came hardship.
You have lost a limb on this war so,
Do keep your marriages according to the law;
You have lost an eye on this war so,
Be very wise like king david who was the seventh born;
You have lost your hearing from this war so,
Try to live at peace with others too;
For out of the smell came something sweet.
To feel touched when love calls,
From Yaaqob came the twelve tribes of Israyl;
But try to be like a new hewn stone.
And like the leadership of the sun god of the heathen,
Try to bring to your side always.
Respect all life forms and,
Reproduce and replenish the earth;
Like a wise woman sitting around you.
What you do with your life is your choice,
Like a wise man sitting around you;
But in this life, history do repeat itself.
You can correct this history with time,
But you need to know your direction;
Because, some things will never change!
Time moves on as man grows,
And out os something sweet came the baby;
But, real life means a lot to all of us.
Cleverness,
Of the time frame of life that swings around us;
With all that muses in peace and love,
But at times with the difficulties of life as well.
Be clever and do learn at all times,
For Rome was not built in a day.

Life Is King
Lifes a garden
Life is king
Life is all
And everything
Life is golden
Life is fair
Like a rainbow in your hair
Lifes a once fantastic light
Life is shining in the night
Lifes a fire from above
Life is you
And life is love
Life is golden
Life is king
Life is all and everything
Nothing to believe in
Its just there
Without a care
And no religion
Than the enigma of love
Life is king
Lifes a poison much too strong
Makes you running on and on
Lifes a drug and not your friend
Life will kill you in the end
Life is smooth
And life is friction
Life is such a contradiction
Life is god
And God needs lives
Lifes a billion battlecries
Life is golden. . .

King Of The Universe
Its all making me ready
Its all doing what you gotta do
I know a
I see my life come shine
Golden sunrise
Tragic day dream
I am so afraid --
King of the universe, are you king of the earth
King of the universe, are you king of the sky
King of the universe, are you king of the sky

Hes The King
(harold faltermeyer/ gernot rothenbach)
Producers for bonnie: harold faltermeyer and gernot rothenbach
Hes seen all the changes
been going up and down
Had to rearrange it
But never lost his crown
Never was afraid of
Playing his last round
He is, he is the king
Look into his face
It never told you lies
Falling down from grace
Has been more than twice
But theres always one thing
You should realise
He is, he is the king
He is the king
No one else will be around
He is the king
Sometimes lost but now hes found
Without losing all, you wont touch sacred ground
He is, he is the king
He is the king
Loving her was easy,
They were day and night
Trying to release her
Was a never ending fight
He had only one chance
Playing for her life
He is, he is the king
But theres always one thing
You should realise
He is, he is the king
He is the king
No one else will be around
He is the king
Sometimes lost but now hes found
Without losing all, you wont touch sacred ground
He is, he is the king
He is the king
No one else will be around
He is the king
Sometimes lost but now hes found
Without losing all, you wont touch sacred ground, yeah
He is, he is the king
He is the king

Its so sad, livin at home
Far from the city and the midnight fun
Its so bad, goin to school
So far from me and the dirty things that we do
Im the king of the night time world
And youre my headlight queen
Im the king of the night time world
Come live your secret dream
Its so fine, lovin with ease
Far from the house and the family fights
Its so fine, bein with you
Bein with me makes everything alright
Im the king of the night time world
And youre my headlight queen

Come live your secret dream, alright
Its so sad, youre not content
Far from the music and the neon glow
Aint you glad we got the time
Far from our folks, theyll never ever know

King Of Somewhere Hot
King of somewhere hot
By: jimmy buffett, ralph macdonald, william salter, robert greenidge
1988
Robert greenidge and ralph macdonald finally got me to trinidad and when I heard the desperados playing my song up on laventhill I felt like a king and it was hot.
Ive travelled all around the world
And there are places that still stand out to me
None can really quite compare
To my island in the sea
My personal utopia
A place to run to where I can hide away
Where I can truly reign supreme
Somewhere fresh and clean where a man can dream
Chorus:
Im king, (king) king of somewhere hot
Im king, (king) like every man should be
Im king, (king) king of somewhere hot
Where the music in my soul(music in my soul)
Makes me start to lose control (start to lose control)
And Ill melt right on the spot
Im the king of somewhere hot (hot)
King of somewhere hot (hot)
King of somewhere hot (hot)
King of somewhere hot (hot)
Now you just rent yourself a tile and dance the night away
Just like the locals do
A million miles from robin leach, life is just a beach
So far out of reach
Chorus:
Im king, (king) king of somewhere hot
Im king, (king) like every man should be
Im king, (king) king of somewhere hot
Where the music in my soul(music in my soul)
Makes me start to lose control (start to lose control)
And Ill melt right on the spot
Im the king of somewhere hot (hot)
King of somewhere hot (hot)
King of somewhere hot (hot)
King of somewhere hot (hot)
So hot!
(pan solo)
Some day I hope to find my queen I know shell come my way
Ill give her all my love
Its not a complicated thing someplace I can swing
Where a man can be a king
Chorus:
Im king, (king) king of somewhere hot
Im king, (king) like every man should be
Im king, (king) king of somewhere hot
I dont care how hard you look (dont care how hard you look)
Ooh you wont find me in the book (wont find me in the book)
cause Im here right on the spot
Oh! Im the king of somewhere hot (hot)
King of somewhere hot (to trot)
King of somewhere hot (hot)
Hot to trot
King of somewhere hot (to trot)
(king of somewhere hot)

Bible Stories: Esther (Part VB)
Esther Brings About the Downfall of Haman:
The King and Haman dined with wine;
The happy King asked Queen Esther,
“Tell me your request, anything! ”
Esther replied, ‘Your majesty,
If I‘m your favorite truly,
O spare my life and my people! ’
“I’ve come to know that we’ve been sold;
Our people will be destroyed soon;
Their property will be seized too;
Our children will be taken slaves;
The foe’s a member of your court! ”
The king asked, “Who dared to do thus? ”
‘Dear King, that evil man’s Haman! ’
Said Esther Queen, in almost tears.
Haman was panic-stricken fast;
The King went into the garden;
Haman was begging for his life;
He threw himself on the Queen’s couch,
And pleaded to be forgiven.
The angry King then asked Haman,
“You want to rape my wife right here? ”
Haman was too shocked to reply.
Just then, a eunuch told the King,
Haman has set a pole ready
For Mordecai who saved your life;
The pole is seventy-five feet high,
And stands right in his very house.
The King said, ‘Hang Haman on it.’
Haman was hung upon that pole
He’d erected for Mordecai;
The King got over his anger!
Then Mordecai took Haman’s place
As Esther was his relative;
King’s signet ring was given him
And Haman’s wealth too went with it.
Then Esther begged the King again,
‘Cancel the order Haman wrote.’
The King replied, ‘How can I bear
To see my people mistreated?
Could I destroy my own people? ’
The King allowed a new order
To save the lives of every Jew!

In reading the scriptures of truth, we often put wrong constructions upon them, and apply them improperly; and I apprehend it has often been the case in relation to this portion, particularly that part in relation to man's seeking out many inventions.

Life And Time
if life is a book, then time is pen--writing pages of life journey;
if life is a piece of white paper, then time is color--painting more colorful life journey;
if life is a long river, then time is surging waves--pushing forward of life journey;
if life is a tree, then time is pieces of green leaves--enriching life journey;
if life is a door, then time is just the key--opening new start of life journey;
if life is a cup of coffee, then time is a bag of condiments--flavoring into life journey;
if life is a scene of tv play, then time is nameless leading role in it--performing its own speical and unique life journey;
if life is a oil painting, then time is its palette--rendering life journey;
if life is a fast horse, then time is its running greenland--carrying load of life journey;
if life is a greenland, then time is spring rain--moisturing nutrition of life journey
...........
this is ur own life, a life which only belong to ur own, ur sepcial and unique one.......

There will always be the King
in waiting there's a King
peaceful king
filling with his dream
never stop building
what He could imagine
caring and giving everything
for His beloved living
only time has remained
of shattered hope and feeling
in their heart thirst loving
there will always be the King

King
KING
' Martin Luther King
and that he was
a man of great moral
a leader because he led by example
KING
what makes a man a king
his determination to lead his people
his commitment, his drive
KING
a father
a husband
a friend
a Leader
For whom left his mark as KING
Man of the century to many who knew his pain
his struggle
Name another man who put his life in the teeth if death for a cause more than King
and for that same reason,
That Farther, Husband, Friend and Leader
Remains most of all
KING'

(Love Poem) Building It All Up
Building it all up. Here I come.
With the antidote to what you need.
So sure of myself.
Absolute certainty.
Building it all up.
This is concrete.
No more dragging my feet.
You make me feel whole and complete.
Building it all up.
Time to lay the foundation to the everlasting.
Forever as a word means nothing,
but in my heart it means everything.
Building it all up.
Even when its hard.
Even whens it far.
I still can see my star.
Even in the dark.
It shines so bright.
Building it all up.
I feel so strong.
The weight of whole world on my shoulders.
It will never get old.
It will never get cold.
You are building my fire,
my warmth, everything that means so much.
So build it all up.
Here I come.
Were gonna have so much fun.
But yet the work shall never be done.
I will always love you hun. Always.

Lost & Found
Chorus:
I was lost then I was found your love has turned my
Life around
You gave me hope when hope was running low
I was dead now Im alive your faith allowed me to
Survive
You touched my life when I was touch and go
I tripped the light fell into a trance
I tendered the song in my soul for dime and a dance
A line of tears a stash of shame
A fool lost in a losing game this whole life through
til there was you
(chorus)
I lost my heart my head my watch and my will
Enchanted by lawyers in love and a little white pill
A king a clown a falling star
For rich for poor still there you are God only knows
I love you so
(chorus)
A king a clown a falling star
For rich for poor still there you are
A rush a ride a rock a rave
A dead man walking on the waves
A life the only love could save
(chorus)

The Crown
The crown is up in smoke,
One tells lies to the queen with a backstroke.
It flies, it ties with birds of prey,
To be hunted, the thief is to say;
But he is to be king and man of steel,
The very man who wins and fools like a meal.
The stealer is a criminal of repute,
To be a kingly man he is astute.
The queen lied to the king,
The king vanished like a sting.

Tales Of A Wayside Inn : Part 1. The Musician's Tale; The Saga of King Olaf XV. -- A Little Bird In The Air
A little bird in the air
Is singing of Thyri the fair,
The sister of Svend the Dane;
And the song of the garrulous bird
In the streets of the town is heard,
And repeated again and again.
Hoist up your sails of silk,
And flee away from each other.
To King Burislaf, it is said,
Was the beautiful Thyri wed,
And a sorrowful bride went she;
And after a week and a day,
She has fled away and away,
From his town by the stormy sea.
Hoist up your sails of silk,
And flee away from each other.
They say, that through heat and through cold,
Through weald, they say, and through wold,
By day and by night, they say,
She has fled; and the gossips report
She has come to King Olaf's court,
And the town is all in dismay.
Hoist up your sails of silk,
And flee away from each other.
It is whispered King Olaf has seen,
Has talked with the beautiful Queen;
And they wonder how it will end;
For surely, if here she remain,
It is war with King Svend the Dane,
And King Burislaf the Vend!
Hoist up your sails of silk,
And flee away from each other.
Oh, greatest wonder of all!
It is published in hamlet and hall,
It roars like a flame that is fanned!
The King--yes, Olaf the King--
Has wedded her with his ring,
And Thyri is Queen in the land!
Hoist up your sails of silk,
And flee away from each other.

My Inventions
My invention carries grim events,
At last the night has observed a rest;
To me you sound like my invention,
Opening of pages, closing of books.
These families of words rest and relax
Like the inhalation of the air by the lungs.
My heart has twitched and feared
From the slight whispers and customs.
My invention is sweet for the eyes of the public,
My inventions improve by the day.
My inventions cause us to be substances
So pure and lovely, to the touch and taste,
But do not just smell or sniff,
Also care for the people who are inventing.

King & Country
All the love of my mother, I offer to you
And Ill try so very hard , to get you through
If lay down my life, for my king and country men
Would it change you for the better
It better be all right
To be always like children
Afraid of the night
If I gave up the cause , what would you give me
To make up for all the things that I would lose
If I lay down my life , for my king and country men
Would it change you for the better
It better be all right
To be always like children
Afraid of the night
Well you better get busy , get it over and done
I was here when you arrived , Ill be here when youre gone
If I give up my life for my king and country men
Would it change you for the better
It better be all right
To be never like people
Afraid of the night
Do do do , etc ... (fade out)

Its Good To Be King
Its good to be king, if just for a while
To be there in velvet, yeah, to give em a smile
Its good to get high, and never come down
Its good to be king of your own little town
Yeah the world would swing if I were king
Can I help it if I still dream time to time
Its good to be king and have your own way
Get a feeling of peace at the end of the day
And when your bulldog barks and your canary sings
Youre out there with winners, its good to be king
Yeah, Ill be king when dogs have wings
Can I help it if I still dream time to time
Its good to be king and have your own world
It helps to make friends, its good to meet girls
A sweet little queen, who cant run away
Its good to be king, whatever it pays
Excuse me if I have some place in my mind
Where I go time to time
