Verse is Not Magic

Verse is not magic even though at times
as reader, writer surf together, cue
links through patterns shared, decoding clue,
enter into spirit of the rhymes.
Register chromatic tempting climbs
in/through spectral intensity, each hue
emotions keys no rainbow ever knew.
Voice finds expression, symphony sublime.
Although some stays unpolished ‘tis no crime
life recognizes where the spirit’s true,
empathy encouraging. How few
remain to shine beyond vain pantomime?
If letters can combine to stir the soul
each line threads through all parts, creates true whole...

Between Life's Smiles - 1055

Between life's [s]miles what truth is found
Exists both in and out of time,
The current flows, taps underground
Wells which fountain through soul's rhyme.
Empathy acts as enzyme
Enchanting: nor fixed object bound,
Nor line immutable, nor crime.
True pulses sometimes may astound,
Harmoniously tuned around
Eternal sustenance sublime.
Music keyed to silent sound:
Is free from crass judgemental grime,
Links two as metamorphosis
EStablishes shared oasis.

Theme From Mission Magic

Do you believe, you believe in magic, cos I believe, I believe that I do
Yes, I can see, I believe that its magic
If your mission is magic, your love will shine thru
Do you believe, you believe in magic, cos I believe, I believe that I do
Yes, I can see, I believe that its magic
If your mission is magic, your love will shine true
If theres one thing that the world needs, its a magic singing song
And Ill teach it to the whole world and make them sing along
Love is magic, its so easy, and its not hard to do
cos everybody, wants somebody, to give a little magic to
Do you believe, you believe in magic, cos I believe, I believe that I do
Yes, I can see, I believe that its magic
If your mission is magic, your love will shine true
Ive seem so many, unhappy people, reaching out in vain
You got the power, to shower, love like summer rain
Love is magic, its so easy, and its not hard to do
cos everybody, wants somebody, to give a little magic to
Do you believe, you believe in magic, cos I believe, I believe that I do
Yes, I can see, I believe that its magic
If your mission is magic, your love will shine true
Do you believe, you believe in magic, cos I believe, I believe that I do
Yes, I can see, I believe that its magic
If your mission is magic, your love will shine true
If your mission is magic, your love will shine true
If your mission is magic, your love will shine true

Ancient Dust Of My Homeland

Spirit of Mystic Aoteaora, enter into me
Land of Long White Cloud, enter into me
Spirit of My Forebears Ancestors, enter into me
Spirit you called Legendary Fairy Folk, enter into me

Spirit of ice capped southern mountains,
rivers forests glaciers, enter into me
Spirit of this old mystic majestic land,
encapsulating my birthright, enter into me

Dark majestic nights descend
upon wild west coast beaches,
Moonlight lapping serene wave tops
sparkling with ephemeral magic

Spirit of multitudinal diverse natures
Blowing in spray blown sea breezes,
Spirit of ancient dust of my homeland
Spirit of ancient Aotearoa, enter into me

My soul tells off my playful spirit

My soul tells off my playful spirit
Where is thine reverence it asks
I bow my head and ask forgiveness
But I know not for which giggling task

This soul has seen and felt deep love
And has touched great wonder sublime
It shares this love with its true dearest
Sending spirit free for playful rhyme

So when soul tells off my playful spirit
It's hard to take it seriously
As spirit knows that soul has caused
My love to spill for you deliriously

Before God`s Grace

After a mournful funeral
My soul was summoned before God`s throne
Bewildered, abject and all alone
Verily the scene was achy and sore
Couldn't expect that of more

God disclosed all of my guiltless crimes
In a harsh and grim rhymes
'So Mr. John
You claimed that sin is nothing but ignorance*
Like a Faustus* followed the Renaissance*

What I revealed unto Mortal minds
Are desperate thoughts of Hearts` confined?
Those sacred letters to you were hoaxed
Just the gentles to coax'

'You were blamed from a Satan`s clan
Of rude upon my Holy man
You have had an evil spirit John
So was vexed weird and wan'

I, John as humble as dust
Raised and phrased like thus
'Almighty! I had never lost faith in you
Let me confess what was true'

You made me born free
But was enchained by heaven decree
I wished to say my heart
But my lips were sealed and soul apart'

You said my laws are unchanged
But thy blessed one`s made them estranged'
If those were not suited me so
Should not be taken as low?

'Those were not thy Holy words
Revealed unto mortal soul
But some evil in disguise sacked the whole'

Thus my anguish spake in my silly rhymes
I was ranked with old Faustus prime
And thy true love was taken as crime'

'Mercifully gracious O my Lord
Unveil thy Mercy and Grace Sublime
Beyond every space and time

Music Keys Muse

Music offers key that may unlock
emotions’ tides which wash wide, far beyond
life’s toil and troubles, act as magic wand
ending Time’s hold on Man’s internal clock
where fresh horizons future fair unblock.
Enchantment uninhibited, true bond,
links heart to heart as each to each responds
as agent free to answer Chance’s knock.
Music’s magic, shared, must distance mock,
exchanging tone-true notes, souls correspond,
unleashing feelings, sound profound and fond,
resplendent rainbow unwrecked by Time’s rock.
Love’s lighthouse beacon crowned with music may
illuminate, each season sweet as May.

Spirit

I can see my destination
I can hear my call
No more hesitation, mmm
This time I'm goin' for all
'Cause I know where this road leads to
And therefore I will rise
I know this dream will come true, mmm
And I will soar the sky
(Spirit, spirit)
Would you guide me? Oh
(Spirit) oh (spirit)
Stand by me
Come on, Come on, Come on
Set me free
I can feel the penetration
Of a strong wind movin' me, mmm
I feel can the elevation, mmm
Of an angel lifting me, mmm
'Cause I know where this road leads to
Therefore I will rise
I know this dream will come true, oh
And I will soar the sky
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Would you guide me? Ohh
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Standin' by me
Come on, Come on, Come on
Set me free
(Oh spirit)
Now that I've found my way home
I've got to get there, get there (get there)
Though one step seems one mile long
Your bridge before my face (your bridge before my face)
I will take the leap of faith (I will take the leap of faith)
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Would you guide me? Oh
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Stand by me, oh
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Set me free...
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Spirit, set me free
(Spirit) help me find my way (spirit) stand by my side
Spirit take my hand and be my guide
(Spirit) run free (spirit) run free
Run free, run free
(Spirit) run free (spirit) run free...

Magic Ride (Whatever U Wish 4)

[Chorus:]
Come on let me take you on a magic ride
Boy I wanna show you better ways to fly
Whatever you wish for
I'll do it for you
All the other girls are a waste of time
Whatever they may have ain't as good as mine
Whatever you wish for
I'll do it for you

[Verse 1:]
I can light a fuse in you
Make you finally see all the things you need
If you wanna know the truth then you must believe
It's hidden here in me
When you finally cross the line
I know that you'll be mine
Boy you make our dreams come true
You know you only have to let go
That I can begin to show
What I've got for you
Come on

[Chorus]

[Verse 2:]
I can see it in your eyes
You've got the spark I need t o set my spirit free
And we don't even have to try time is on our side
And we can be complete
When you finally cross the line
I know that you'll be mine
Boy you make our dreams come true
You know you only have to let go
That I can begin to show
What I've got for you

True Poetry in Limelight

True poetry is filled with;
true inspiration,
true expression,
true composition,
true fun,
true-maturity,
true wisdom,
and true spirituality.

True poetry; deeply translate its true expression to the readers,
providing an unusual mutual extension which connects and familiarize its profuse massages to the reader.

True poetry has great powers of profundity
and unadulterated knowledge.

I keep hearing the saying; ‘plenty poetry lay in the graveyards'
but I don't give into that, because;
true poetry is like a moving destiny, its never lost or buried away.

No matter how beautifully engraved the grave is;
it must surely resurrect and be discovered in another creative beloved beholder.

True poetry never rest in tombs,
that's why it continuously itch thumbs and tongues until it is spoken or wittingly actualized.

True poetry, never frustrates a reader,
It's an excise which lustrates the brain and feelings.

Even if a poetry tries to depict political damnation, poverty, heartbreak, dearth/death, illness, or hunger,
it should always portray wondrous lesson or a revival mission.

True poetry makes you everything you want to be.

you can surely write your life the way you want it to be,
because your destiny is in your true poetry.

God Of All Creation

God of all creation,
Enter into my soul.
Let me feel the love you show,
So that I your kindness know,
Help me please to learn and grow,
Making my spirit whole.

God of all creation,
Enter into my soul.
Let me feel your presence near,
So that I will have no fear,
And your name to so revere,
Make my spirit your goal.

God of all creation,
Enter into my soul.
Lift me up when I am down,
Take away my solemn frown,
Wrap me in a holy gown,
My spirit to thus console.

Speed Read

Quick response serves not if message dim,
Unclear or out of kilter prove to be.
Importance lies retaining verity
Combined with style, - still keeping in the swim -
Knowing, sowing, owing naught to whim.
Links form, melt what appeared disparity,
Yet pulses patterns which provide true key -
Questions met when innovative vim
Unshackles chains to spirit free, or limb,
Incorporates sense hid as harmony
Crumbles Chinese walls with energy.
Keen mind on Time waits not to patterns trim,
Links signals swift, leaves noise behind, to piece
Years future, past, together, gains release...

Ink

A poet's ink
Is the paint and their
Notepad is the canvas, which displays
What they think
Collectively
reader and writer
Somehow fills in the blanks
To each one the words may protray something different
Each and every line is clue
The final analysis reveals
whatever the viewer wants it to do
Take for instance
The saying that
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
As a bird chirping may be music to some
However, to other simply noise
Regardless of the nature
However, the truth is always true

Mind Is The Magic

Mind Is The Magic
Come in to me
I know mystical garden
Orchards and violets
All mysteries are parted
Life is a mirageghost
Imagination
Pure inspiration called justification
Nothing's impossible
Nothing's concealed
Everything here is for real
What gives fantastic ghouls all in your head?
Who creates wonders like nobody can?
Chorus:
Siegfried & Roy
You know it's
Siegfried & Roy
So be it
Siegfried & Roy
I'm gonna...
Siegfried & Roy
When it's Siegfried & Roy
It's the mind of a magic in true
Your own thoughts play the game
In the magical wonders they do
The mind in the magic is you
Move of the head
And I'll change your emotions
Strange things appear
From euphorics, devotions
Everything's happening
Nothing's unreal
Hallucinating the mind in the real
Seeing black panthers
That suddenly fly
White tigers stalking your mind
Hallucinating the things that you see
This kind of magic's so hard to believe
[Chorus]
'Cause when it's Siegfried & Roy
It's the mind of a magic in true
Your own thoughts play the game
In the magical wonders they do
The mind in the magic is you
When it's Siegfried & Roy
It's the mind of a magic in true
When it's Siegfried & Roy
It's the mind of a magic in true
(Seeing is believin'...)
When it's Siegfried & Roy
It's the mind of a magic in true
Hallucinations
The game of this kind
This kind of magic
Throws mind
[Chorus]

Spirit to Spirit

Spirit to Spirit

So many things have turned my spirit so.
Yet I do resist and yield to it yet.
Know that I give my strength for you to know.
Forget you? No, I shall never forget.

Left with my sandpaper dreams since you left.
Love lies in my spirit, for you my love.
Theft of your presence is not spirit theft.
Above all my dreams, I hold you above.

You now have returned, I knew it was you.
Waiting so long as my heart was waiting;
few have returned, yet you’re one of the few.
Aching for you as my soul was aching.

War takes so many; yet, you've beaten war.
Door of my spirit, come enter my door.

Two Voices

Two voices I hear inside my head,
Both wanting their own way.
I must figure out, which voice must go,
And which I allow to stay.

One is the voice of my spirit,
The other of my mind.
One will move me farther ahead.
One will pull be further behind.

But I do not know, which voice is which,
And which voice has my best.
In order to know, which voice is true.
I put both voices to the test.

With one voice I know peace and love,
Are the rewards that I will find.
And the one that creates confusion and fear.
That is the voice inside my mind.

People And Their Situations Do Change

If it is true you knew,
How I felt in those times...
Where were you,
To help me empty...
Those many buckets of tears,
I cried.
If it is true,
My struggles with agony...
Had been something you knew.

If it is true you knew,
Who planted obstacles on my path...
Why were you not there for me at all?
And when I reach out to you,
You dismissed me and laughed.

If it 'is' true you knew,
What I was going through...
You said nothing about it,
Until several years have passed.

And,
If it is true you knew...
Anything about me at all,
Why have you waited until today...
To appear to say,
You are experiencing your own downfall.

To what degree of an empathy,
Do expect from me...
To receive?

'People and their situations change.'

I couldn't say that any better.
I agree.
Trust me.

And that person you say you knew back then,
Has matured to improve...
On my expectations of 'friends'.
And can see people and things as they are.
With a re-arrangement done to philosophies,
Without a passing of judgement on them.

'People and their situations change.'

I couldn't say that any better.
I agree.
Trust me.
And I've been blessed with a peace,
I am going to protect and keep.

And all I can do is wish you the best.
With a peacefulness I am feeling.
Hoping one day,
The same for you will come your way.

People and their situations do change.
Of that,
I totally agree.
But an empathy from me you wish to receive...
Was not from you,
Ever given to me from you to give...
To believe you can receive.

I agree...
People and their situations do change,
A lot!

Reader or writer

If you are a reader or a writer.
You should be a positive thinker.
You are more like a scientist observer.
Try to be an exact experimenter.
Nothing is too crazy to put on paper.

If you are a reader or a writer.
The reader is a wonderful dreamer.
The writer is a sincere worker.
Its lovely that both can be each other.

If you are a reader or a writer.
You should never say never.
So don't leave behind a book marker.
Make sure you have a word sharpener.

Reflections on Reflections Play

Poets finger frequencies chromatic
which few imagine, fuse into our days,
highlight dross in unexpected ways
turn common hieroglyphs to gold syllabic.
Poets tune to wavelengths which, harmonic,
impressions fleeting turn to interplays
outside Time transformed, for image stays
as fly in amber, glowing, flowing, tonic
despite enchroaching Time’s invasion chronic.
Reflections on reflections play. Relays,
found unbound, may colour in life’s greys,
unpick the spirit’s drawbridge lock symbolic,
depict emotions which, with rainbow tint,
may move, may pain remove, and joy imprint....

Evolutionary Soul

I was told that in the mirror I see my soul's reflection
But I only look at my face without a deeper connection
I have been searching for a sign of this soul of mine
Being curious about the aspects of intelligent design
Scriptures say that my immaterial parts are immortal
To join my creator one day leaving through a portal

But what if I only have material parts that are me
Tiny molecules held together tightly woven like a tree
Will they join others one day within time and space
Become one and form a new and smarter DNA base
That diversified me will it be better in spirit and form
And grow within someone else creating a new norm

Well - I like to believe that my conscience is my soul
That grows and learns like my own quality control
My soul is what is speaking to me when I am unsure
When I am lost it figures me out like an entrepreneur
My soul puts me back in line and keeps me intact
It reminds me that I am human and at times overreact

In my mind I combine the terms soul and humanity
But humans are often not humane and haunted by insanity
Within every person I try to see a soul but it is a struggle
Life occurs like a carnival exposing good and evil in a juggle
While I am staring in the mirror asking if I have done all I could
I am confused about my evolutionary soul hoping all is good

Recalculation

Place and Time no meaning may retain
As Time and space skeins melt down, disappear,
Sounds, colours, perfumes magic merge, as here
Calculations fail, all trammels vain.
A new day dawns, whose joys shall e’er remain.
Lightning fast love came, must last a mere
Eternity or two, to cleanse, make clear.
Patterns fit, hope’s picture fills life’s train
Advances, puzzle pieces finds, can gain
Some insight into mysteries to steer
Consciousness through dreams till dreams appear
As true to life as life whose sun won’t wane.
Look, thus, no further for those answers which
Each seeks to weave life’s blessings, joys to stitch.
