Timely Open Book
An attractive pair of eyes
of almond aspect, startling size,
sparkle with suggestive look
to signal “I’m an open book”
to which all welcome are who, wise,
rise, meet sweet challenge, find replies
the overhasty overlook.
Moreover, who their minds mistook
face value take where their own lies
make mirror image, dark disguise,
soon blot their ego's copybook -
self image wage, page books may cook.
From downturned mouth to upturned nose
verse flows until this tale we close.

Shared Intuitions
Mistake, or insight worth a second look
As printed with key code of cause, expect?
Rainbow skeins need braiding to effect
Interactions on an open book.
Excitement keeps hearts in the air, on hook.
Can intellects combine, twine, intersect,
Hearts’ energies spontaneous direct,
Rise to challenge, shed gobbledygook,
Ignore conventions set that overlook
Shared intuitions which interconnect
To filter chaff from grain, detect defect
Ignoble which life's books too often cook?
Now rule lure, unlured by rules harsh lined,
Expressing feelings with an open mind...

The Chornicles of a Dark Heart Part 16 The open book's monologue
Red what is it to you black the color of death? maybe maybe not? anyone here play video games? FOR CHAOS? ring any bells help spread the taint more quickly? what might an open book write
what would a open book draw
what would an open book think
open books are predictable
so predict what the picture means
why is black black? why is red O infused? what is the meaning only you know maybe only me...
(added years later)
Maybe I'm the book, and maybe you're the reader
but who is you? is it not everyone
since I'm open, for all to point at laugh at, out of malice or for fun
because they know my thoughts, they know i love her? !
what did i do?
i never said i love you! ! !
how can they know?
how did i reap what i did now sow? !
The worst part
about being an open book,
is an open book can't close itself, can't have a heart
anyone can know all from just one look
there seems to be something wrong with being too open and honest
but it's too late a book can't close itself
can't move by its own accord to a shelf
an open book can never rest
so now I'm the book, so since im there just read
just read.... and watch my heart, my purpose, my soul, my life, me
watch.... watch them bleed

The Only Person Who
The problem with an open book, is it can't know
How it feels, what it says, who it is.... only show
The problem with an open book is its fraught with confusion yet no answer
With danger yet no protection
How can i run from her?
When she's written all over me like an inscription
Open books don't have a say
Open books won't last more than a day
If left open, they cannot defend or close
Can't run away, no toes
Even if it's all an illusion
This delusion
This me, I'm the open book because I'm the the only
One who can't read me
The only one who doesn't know how I feel
So please tell me because I get hurt, but no one heals
I feel this way or that
But to me I don't know what is fact
What is dreamed and what is real
The only person who doesn't know me is me
Someone close it or kill it so then no one can see

Little Lies
If I could turn the page
In time then Id rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes
But I couldnt find a way
So Ill settle for one day to believe in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you cant disguise
(you cant disguise, no you cant disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
Although Im not making plans
I hope that you understand theres a reason why
Close your, close your, close your eyes
No more broken hearts
Were better off apart lets give it a try
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you cant disguise

Watch me!
I am an open book you see,
turn the pages look at me.....
So disturbing this game that you play,
not so smart at the end of the day.
I see through you can't you see,
what part of you isn't me?
Play away, look and see....
so far, so far, you will always be.
Don't mistake my open book,
look deeper inside....for me you mistook.
Thinking always...that is truly me...
my desire is truly to be free...
my book is my own...you will never write my story,
oh...I know...you think its for glory.
No, not now,
no, not ever......
I wish that you could be more clever!

Mirror Image
I get up this morning, forget about all my plans
Think about my vacations with my latest man
Everything I did, what I shouldve done
Why I didnt stay why I didnt run
Only I hold the key to unlock the door
I might make mistakes I made them before
Think I hear about my life as a book
Think I rather forget but they forced me to look
Chorus:
(mirror image, mirror image)
If it isnt in black and white
(it never happened)
(mirror image) reflection of me
Do you see what they want you to see?
Looking at my life through mirror image
Mirror image
Must I confess everything that Ive done?
Cant a girl go out and have herself some fun?
I dont wanna be judge I dont want the blame
Living for the day is how I play the game
There always a dream theres always a stage
Somebodys looking now its on the front page
Through my rear view mirror I can see where Ive been
I forget the beginning and I cant see the end
Chorus
Only I hold the key to unlock the door
I might make mistakes I made them before
Think I hear about my life as a book
Think I rather forget but they forced me to look

The Mirror Struggled
The mirror struggled; reflecting beauty such as hers
Prescribed a glory in the challenge – a fairytale
Or such as like! To shimmer back hypnotic hues
From auras of her skin – how do mirrors cope?
Hoary tales of pretty adolescent buds
Could never hope to match the tomes of dreamy
Pulchritude apprising us of such a belle as she.
The mirror shone; and as it worked itself, a moment –
Did it overlook the hidden melancholy?
Were melting eyes bedewed–? Florid lips imbued
With mournfulness? The hindrance of the silver glass!
Oh! to seek – to know the meaning of the sorrow!
She (with tearful hair, an image out of heaven)
Never opened up her heart. The mirror struggled.

Requiem I - Parody Robert Louis STEVENSON - Requiem
Through the artificial flowers
let me slide when all my powers
have passed as pass man’s mortal hours,
and let me burn.
Spurn graven verses for my head,
spade not the body laid, instead,

book me no urn.

From life's dark, unwholesome cage

Requiem
Under the wide and starry sky
Dig the grave and let me lie:
Glad did I live and gladly die
And I laid me down with a will.
This be the verse you grave for me
Here he lies where he long’d to be
Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.
Robert Louis Stevenson 1850 - 1894
Requiem
Under the free and open sky,
There let me rest, nor breathe a sigh, -
Gladly I’ve lived, and gladly I’ll lie,
Content by night and day.
Grave no rude tombstone to mark my rest;
But deep in your soul may you say with zest;
“Here is the Seeker after his Quest,
And the Actor after the Play.”

You Might Be Wrong
Uncouth ill educated lout.
You make your mind up instantly,
you are quite sure you have no doubt.
He is what he appears to be
You later find to you surprise
he is in fact a gentleman.
Regarded by the world as wise.
Not as you thought an also ran.
Because he does not look the part.
You thought him worthy of disdain.
But now you have a change of heart
you have been forced to think again.
Clothes do not make a gentleman.
Quite often they disguise a thief
who’s out to steal all that he can
He’s confident of your belief
That you can quickly recognise
the calibre of those you meet.
Forgetting that appearances lies
when other men are out to cheat.
The cover does not tell the tale
of what is written in the book.
If you are wise you will not fail
to take a second searching look.

On the Hook
ON THE HOOK
Moonshine madness or an open book
imprinted with key code of cause, expect?
Rainbow skeins need braiding to effect
interactions worth a second look.
Anticipation keeps heart on the hook
as second-sight skeins time-twine, intersect.
Energies spontaneous direct
focus fresh to filter gobbledygook,
shed set conventions staid that overlook
essentials, causing conflicts few correct.
Filter chaff from grain, detect defect
mendacious which life's books too often cook.
Rule lure, unlured by rule's harsh line to find
music’s fountainhead with open mind...
Man's numbered days
reel out as plays
time's dance on burning deck.
Pollutions preys
as man displays
contempt for earth, his neck
feels noose which frays
trace for always
wrung D.N.A.'s strung trek.
Through cristal gaze
pierce time-trap haze
ahead remains man's wreck,
greed's interplays
ambition's phase,
pride soon falls as high-tech
meets grave delays
as ice melts weighs
on ocean currents' beck.
While fiddler plays
Rome burns - he says,
for future 'what the heck! '
man's race relays
ants run - our phase
proves evolution's fleck
which Chance amaze -
fiat lux phrase -
created just on spec.
Time's stream counts days
til dream theme pays
foreclosure with bad-check.
Error or insight worth a second look
as print-out information scores collect?
Life's causal chains rebraiding need, to check
acceleration's spin-offs old earth shook.
Speed spins more questions while by hook or crook
bewilderment straws clutches circumspect,
the commun scrum struck dumb would change reject
cling to past tenets senates have forsook.
Conventions are upset - who by the book
sought continuity must reconnect
bridge spanning global warming's threats, elect
minds-sets more plastic or pragmatical,
distrusting false 'solutions' magical.

Little Wise Pink Book.
Oh! The wise little pink book,
Which contain the wise words and pictures,
Where my love lies,
And ma heart lay its head.
How shall I forget about you?
You the mother of ma heart,
Oh! My heart soothers.
Which soothes every pimple that causes agony in ma heart.
You’re my photos album,
when I want to see ma boom,
You contain pictures of ma heart,
From head to toe,
I love you so much, little pink book.
You’re my dictionary,
Whenever I need any love word’s meaning,
Ma love encyclopedia,
To calm my psycho-phobia.
I love you little pink book,
You have been the source of my comfort,
When ma heart was in trouble,
I can’t forget about you,
Little wise pink book.
You are everything,
You are the promise we make,
A phone-family we set-up,
Oh! Little pink book,
You are the CPA of our love.
I love you little pink book.
My eyes shall not let down,
Neither will my heart fail you,
For your words pass through my eyes down to ma heart surpassing my brain,
I love you, little pink book.
My life is yours, little pink book.

The Last Page
I always dread the last page in a book,
especially when the book was good.
So I close it up and put it aside
but some of those pages you can't hide.
They've become a memory to keep.
So the book just goes to sleep
for a while.
And some time in the future out it comes
just like a trusty old friend.
I open it up and start it once again
reading it from beginning to the end.

Why face dejection on an online page,
heart dark foreboding contest trophies lost,
misplaced rejection outlines inner cost
step on cold road stings egotistic rage.
Blind interjection seems vain sacrilege
st[r]ung from sterile code, with lies embossed,
no need for def[l]ection conscience tossed,
or rigid thought-mode - spirit’s self made cage.
Unshared reflections seldom souls engage,
can’t transfer load, translate degrees of frost.
Let go, - sow new directions, river crossed,
Where upload crafts emotions, sets fresh stage.
So nets to open source true lend an ear
Sonnets through hopes endorsed too blend, endear.

You know that we do take away
We deliver too
Open 24 hours babe
Just waiting on a call from you
Waiting on a call from you
Well I'm in the yellow pages
You just take a look
Look me up under services
You know it's just an open book
Babe it's just an open book
It's just an open book
Well baby

O' Mirror
All day long roaming around
Sometimes I stand before the mirror,
See my own image looks at me,
Yet I'm puzzled not to find my `self' there.
I see the quiet nature depicted on my complexion,
And I know my `self' is veiled by a humane mask.
In the mirror my image looks like any other human,
My hand-face-eyes all are normal and intact.
Yet behind that intact wall
How many wounded memories, how much pain of loss,
And emptiness lives
Only my heart knows.
Where does my heart live?
Nobody knows that, even the mirror does not.
Still I look at with deep wonder
To find where in my heart
Inconsistent pain and imperfections are;
In the outer shell of mine I find only indifference.
This mirror shows very strange image;
It does not find my own world, -
My emptiness, frustration, the heart breaking emotion-
It does not show me anything.
Only those impassive eyes look at me,
How much tribulation of heart it hides!
In the outer quiet nature none of that be found;
O' Mirror, show me the image of my heart, if you can.

X-Ray Mirror
Tunnel seems so long
Touching the bottom
A slim reflexion
Punctured my vision
I didn't notice
Beside the last door
Standing on nothing
There was a mirror
Even inside...scrutinized
I am, he is, the face I hate
Refracting cells and prismed self
Who's x who's y in a blank place
I can't believe this is my image
Like the mirror without a frame
Baring a scarred side
Open in daylight
Recoil and reply
Farside of my pride
The introspection
Ruptures the blood core
Magnification
Draws out the mirror
Seeking me out
What will he find?
I am, he is, a repugnant state
I can't shake this curiosity
My privacy starts to fade
I can't believe this is my image
Like the mirror
A polar exchange
He gloating over my fleeting image
He used to be me
He knows who is free
How long will I wait...here
Stuck in this void place...here
I can't believe I am the immage
Within the mirror
Into the chrome lake
The glass is broken
But I look the same
