Time Trap
Juxtaposition in an active mind:
unstretched potential and a spirit free
seek space to taste then test eternity,
leaving wasted years far, far behind.
Intense the need for speed, choice voice must find,
before too late, - an opportunity
tuned to new horizons’ patterned key.
Before too late... life its own double bind
sees night light follow as Time’s skeins unwind,
as most is swallowed, soon forgotten, - we,
today ahead, tomorrow sped, can’t flee
Nature’s mortal paradox designed.
Whether open, closed, the intellect
self justifies through merge-urge to project...

Choice Voice
Ideas, ideals, freethinking underlined,
no negligence can know whenever they
allow free range where spirit well designed
marks space to catalyse choice chance which may -
if choice is choice not circumstance designed -
new windows open through which interplay
another to another insight wind,

Double Bind
The book of Life too soon is signed
away, as to eternity
all vain pretentions are resigned,
few dare discover secret key
unlocking cipher which behind
the letters here or there that we
may string together – for mankind
has other claims, priority.
For Cause, Effect, in double bind
united are – and who’d be free
from one the other meets behind
the veil through which few mortals see.
Complexity’s thus intertwined
with what appears simplicity -
yet some solutions groomed may bind
to tomb the doomed had thought to flee.
No culture code or time-line twined
with cant restraints can ever be
maintained for long, life’s dice remind
contentment knows no prepaid fee,
no cash-and-carry cheque combined
with D.N.A. for passage free
accorded some, - the rest, resigned,
monopolizing misery.
There is no fate which, pre-defined,
MUST circumscribe life’s destiny,
or cheese for some, for others rind
to gnaw while stretching sanity
beyond the limits humankind
should tolerate, while vanity -
inanity – must soon unwind
its substance rotting on life’s tree.
When I was born I woke to find
a world in bloom, but lived to see
the flowers fade. Death came, unkind.
May joys not jade, nor love, for thee.
Beyond Time’s dark, incessant, grind,
find ways with creativity
to soar, explore, - scope redesigned -
rejecting blind conformity.
The moral here is underlined: -
play for the day, meet what will be
with open heart and open mind, -
sufficient flexibility,
to see Chance is not undermined,
that every opportunity
may lead beyond bare alley blind
towards serenity.

Following God
To follow God, it is my choice, as I hear that inner voice,
Of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, guiding me through my life,
To follow Him, as my guide, as Jesus walks by my side,
Guiding me, in all that I do; as He daily sees me through.
Given the choice, if I choose, to walk alone, I could lose,
The peace of God deep inside, when in the Spirit I abide;
Or blessing and joy my friend, as I go around each bend,
But, with Christ, I am content, wherever by God I am sent.
To walk in His Righteousness, life's filled with fruitfulness,
In my deeds along the way, as He guides me, day to day,
Fruitfulness which is from God, as I walk this earthly sod,
While I'm guided from above, in the Spirit's light and love.
If I choose to walk alone, I lose that power, of His Throne,
Power from the Spirit of Christ, to deal with trial and strife,
If I walk opposing the Spirit, ignoring His voice as I hear it,
I am open to the subtlety, of deceptive ways of the enemy.
So my choice is The Lord; my ways by Him aren't ignored,
As The Spirit truly guides me, in life with grace abundantly,
As He helps me live for God, led by Christ's staff and rod,
In this life, as He blesses me, as I'm on my way to Eternity.

Reluctance and Self Acceptance
RELUCTANCE AND SELF ACCEPTANCE
Neutrality is rarely cup of tea.
where intelligence creative and aware
dare not stagnate, can't simply stop and stare.
Open mind needs true transparency,
tunes into wave length seeds so few can key, -
finds answers which should new advance prepare -
to change dimensions as defensive layer
at last can soften, leaving spirit free.
Although the quest for self discovery
lends hope to scope to answer inner prayer
though self acceptance may not dare to dare
respond to feelings in the first degree,
Never content within the status quo,
you “why' and 'wherefore' therefore need to know.
Need to feed, reluctance to be fed,
is paradox where intellect attracts -
comb[in]ing 'cause/effect' for hidden tracks
opens patterns which help think ahead.
Leaving double bind behind, mind's led
defeating ‘déjà vu's’ stark whites and blacks.
Where harmony, transparency one lacks -
trust may be spurned though earned - dark path to tread.
Though years past cost counts spread crape mirage b[l]ed.
one must look forward, sow, life interacts
with feeling flows emotions mesh, - no cracks -
reactions to response tune heart to head.
Nourished, open sentiments take root,
then flourish where their boughs may bear full fruit.

Seal Our Fate
They say it's never too late and
though that might be the case sometimes
The sad truth of it is opportunity won't knock twice
You can put off until tomorrow
but tomorrow might never come
Gotta think about the future
'cause today soon will be long gone
Where will you be a few years down the line

Late, Late, So Late
Late, late, so late! and dark the night and chill!
Late, late, so late! but we can enter still.
Too late, too late! ye cannot enter now.
No light had we: for that we do repent;
And learning this, the bridegroom will relent.
Too late, too late! ye cannot enter now.
No light: so late! and dark and chill the night!
O, let us in, that we may find the light!
Too late, too late: ye cannot enter now.
Have we not heard the bridgegroom is so sweet?
O, let us in, tho' late, to kiss his feet!
No, no, too late! ye cannot enter now."

Reluctant
RELUCTANT
Much need to feed, reluctant to be fed,
A paradox where intellect detracts.
Unlocking former fears dulls doubt’s attacks,
Desire draws trumps, lumps crumple, heart instead
Exposes double bind behind mind led
Combatting déjà vu's stark whites and blacks.
One wonders why self-confidence she lacks
Regarding sensuality two thread -
Rough past perhaps cost counted, mirage bled.
Idyll awaits as life's flow interacts
Exchanging sentiments, repairing cracks,
Response, reactions spurned, tunes heart to head.
As nurture helps true sentiments take root,
Seed sown may blossom, fair boughs bear full fruit.
Mediocrity can’t be her cup of tea.
Alert intelligence seems well aware
Urge to expand won't simply stop and stare,
Doubts must flout through shared transparency
Exploring wave lengths to which few can key.
Control, when role-reversed helps heart prepare
Open options, sloughs defensive layer,
Refutes old walls, heeds shackled spirit’s plea.
Renascent quest for self-acceptancy
Inhibitions shed is inner prayer -
Emancipation, self-fulfilling dare -
Requires heart’s hopes stir mind’s integrity
Affording comfort outside status quo,
So happiness may shared emotions know.

Living Choice
Its deep in heart that felt repeatedly
about a being in time and space
that follow the laws of nature
Betwixt the stimulus and response
a space and time that can defy the nature and destiny
defines the state of being
in the form of choice
Choice lies before us at every moment in life
to chart the direction of life
Else the chance will takeover the course
subordinating to the flow of nature
With choice in your hand
begin the passion to reach the destiny
Raise the motivation to be better
Unleash the talents required
That take the life towards evolution
pushing the human race ahead of the present existence

Time
Linear time frames every persons day
as seconds pass in an unstoppable way.
Time moves on in a measurable amount
as we begin to age and each year we count
Time differs in aboriginal thinking
Yesterday, today and tomorrow linking.
Repeating themselves at the turn of each day
No months and years are to be found by this way.
In the beginning God said 'Let there be light'
and then the first moment of time ticked so bright.
As light shot forward matter and time was born
and then nights and days measured creations dawn.
As Light sped at its colossal speed through space.
Time began and now governs the human race.
Man's deeds are written in historic pages
showing the passage of time through the ages.
Then the atomic clock began recording
and the scientists commenced calculating.
How quickly earth spun as night and day revolved
and the time earth circled the sun was resolved.
Einstein viewed time using relativity
Through mathematics and great ingenuity.
The formula e=mc2 then found.
That Moving at speeds of light time stands its ground.
Time is relative in a different sense.
It seems to vary greatly when we feel tense.
When those anxious moments come along our way
time then seems to drag slowly to our dismay.
When we're having fun time appears to race by.
Why it passes by so fast we don't know why.
But then as we get older it seems as though
years fly quickly by but each day goes so slow.
Noting the years and each millennium.
Life races on by as it gains momentum.
We calculate the average of a life span
to estimate the lifetime of each man.
The bible says we might live three score and ten
and if by reason of strength four score and then!
Birth and death may define our humanity
but our soul lives on for an eternity.
But mankind armed with his modern medicine
accepts no limit on a life span of men.
Prolonging the course of illness and disease
unable to guarantee life's qualities.
But we can step right out of time by God's grace.
Eternity to eternity embrace.
God's plan for man in an eternity past
born again we will this creation outlast.
God is outside the limitations of time.
In an eternal 'now' supreme and sublime.
It's because of this He can transport us so.
Back in time for great healing to undergo.
The child of the past that's hidden so deeply
can be brought to Jesus feet so completely.
Real healing of body and soul can take place
because God exists outside of time and space.
God came into this earths time and history
condensed to a span and hiding His glory.
Came to this world walking and talking with men
and tasting death that we might be born again.
Now when we are standing before God on high
He sees us not as we appear when we die.
Our life before Him in panorama plays
and He sees us as the sum of all our days.
To stand alone before God's great judgement throne
Without Christ to mediate and on my own.
Cast out from Him to spend an eternal night
in Hell and misery cast out from His sight.
Why do I refuse this great gospel of grace
that can set my spirit free from sins disgrace?
Cleansed and released from the awful chains of sins
there with God as His new creation begins.
In heaven no more in times captivity
for death has been swallowed up in victory.
'This day you with me in paradise you'll be',
Christ says to the thief on the cross and to me.
Its Never Too Late
(d. hartman)
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Its never too late
To try and reach for your desires
Even when your luck is down
You still got chances of turning around
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Its never too late
To hold the power in your hands (power in your hands)
You will find a good, good feeling
Makin new plans and starting again
Its never too late
No, its never too late
No, its never too late no, no, no, no
No, its never too late
No, its never too late
No, its never too late
Its never too late
Time keeps changin everything
Sometimes tearin down
The treasures that it brings
Ever strong
Youll make it through
The secret lies in knowing
That its up to you
Say it with me now
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
We got the time
Theres no doubt in my mind
That its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late

Its Too Late To Change The Time
[intro]
Too late
Too late
Too late
[verse 1]
In this automatic age
We shop through the yellow page
Gone is the corner store
There is a supermarket there for you
People give way to change
But feelings remain the same
[chorus]
And its too late, too late to change the time
Well its too late, too late to change the time
And its too late, too late to change the time
But its not too late (too late) to change your mind
[verse 2]
Its a new day, a new age
A photograph just taken, is ready one minute later
Cars are bigger and better
But the manufacturers sastified never
In a world full of crime
I cant let you think thats right
[chorus]
And its too late, too late to change the time
And its too late, too late to change the time
And its too late, too late to change the time
But its not too late (too late) to change your mind
No, no
[bridge 1]
So you wanna be a star (so you wanna be a star)
You are who you think you are (ah think you are)
You dont have to go further
Than my loving arms
[chorus half]
And its too late, too late to change the time
But its not too late (too late) to change your mind
[bridge 2]
Are you sure you wanna go to new york city (new york city)
Where girls make it big if theyre pretty (if they pretty)
Let say you get that penthouse view
But whos gonna love you the way I do (just the way I do)
[chorus]
Its too late, too late to change the time
And its too late, too late to change the time, no
Too late, too late to change the time
But its not too late (too late) to change your mind
Yeah, yeah, yeah
[chorus]
Its too late, too late to change the time
Its too late, too late to change the time
Ooh, too late, too late to change the time
But its not too late (too late) to change your mind
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Tomorrow
If you would noly treat me right
I'd stay here by your side
But I am down to my last cry
So I'm leaving you goodbye
You turned away from opportunities
To sit and talk things through
But now when I say I'm leaving you
You have so much to prove
So long to all my pain
Good night to my heartache
Goodbye sorrow
I won't cry no more
I'm leaving tomorrow
Stop writing me sweet letters and
Calling me on the phone
We argued constantely when I saw you
Always left me in the cold
I made the choice to finally go
Cause I can't stand this pain
It's time for my last tear to fall
And me to smile again
Sorrows and heartache goodbye
I'm leaving you
Don't wanna meet again
Has got to be the end
The end
The sun will finally shine on me
And clouds will drift away
There's something that's in store in me
That's my brighter day
Now I just can't wait
Tomorrow's too late
I'm leaving you today

Innocents Suicide
Innocents Suicide
Innocents of suicide lose the creator's gift of free will
Intellect lost in silent secrets and their mind forever still.
A sucide seldom only involves a singular individual one
The list inludes parents, family, friends, and God's will not be done.
Some of your yesterdays were just like today
The ones which were bad, you always threw away.
Innocents of a suicide lost God's gift of choice
No longer expressive is your mind and human voice.
If you wish to go then try to leave in peace
Sacrifice and give up your life and turn in your lease.
If you find it so difficult and can't find a friend
Go to the universal creator and say; 'I want my life to end'.
Each of us comes into the world and never alone
You insult your Mother to put her word love on your headstone.
If your life is filled with destructive forces and hate
Then talk with your God and do not hesitate.
Seek solace, speak, take a walk and if necessary cry
To kill an innocent soul is the same as a human suicide.
Tomorrow will never be exactly like the one today
The future you deny; because you intent is to slay.

Its Late
Scene 1
You say you love me
And I hardly know your name
And if I say I love you in the candle light
Theres no one but myself to blame
But theres something inside
Thats turning my mind away
Oh how I could love you
If I could let you stay
Chorus
Its late - and Im bleeding deep inside
Its late - is it just my sickly pride
Too late - even now the feeling seems to slip away
So late - though Im crying I cant help but hear you say
Its late its late its late
But not too late
Scene 2
The way you love me
Is the sweetest love around
But after all this time
The more Im trying
The more I seem to let you down
Now you tell me youre leaving
And I just cant believe its true
Oh you know that I can love you
Though you know I cant be true

An Answer?
An Answer?
Seek not in sect the answer to lost soul
As narrow road leads into narrow mind.
Make most of opportunity to find
A way to join both Search and Way made whole.
None need to feed from need to fire the coal,
To spark the flame which burns the Past behind,
Heed intuitions, harmony, to bind
All pattern parts, let inner knots unwind...

Respite
Seek not for quick relief, few sects console
as narrow road leads to, from, narrow mind,
open tracks which back up tacks to find
respite till Search and Way unite soul's whole.
None need to feed from need to fire fame’s coal,
match flame with aim in game to leave behind
the past, for first IS last, draws double bind.
Reject temptation’s superficial role,
lip-service lending simply to control
disparities that, poles apart, unwind
when tenets tested cannot be combined
with sentiments sustained, coherent goal.
If puzzle pieces of their own accord
can fit, ‘tis writ, - if not, await reward.

Sooner Or Later
Yes, in time, sooner or later, all will know there’s nothing greater,
Nothing at all upon this earth, that offers men such eternal worth,
No possession, yet know to man, can match God’s Eternal Plan,
The Father’s Offer of Eternal Life, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
That life begins when you believe, and Christ’s Spirit you receive,
His Spirit to lead us in all things, as we live for the King of kings,
While He fills us with a peace, that during our trials will not cease,
With a promise He’ll never leave, when His Truth you truly receive.
Soon may be that time for some, that they truly meet God’s Son,
As their eyes are opened wide, to His Truth, they so long denied,
Or maybe they just never heard, The Gospel right from His Word,
But when ready, you can be sure, God’s Spirit will open the door.
For some that time may be later, as they seek something greater,
Some may think Heaven’s on earth, with no need for a New Birth,
Maybe they’re waiting for proof, but, will only see strong reproof,
Whatever is causing you to wait, to continue, it could be too late.
All though, shall meet their Creator, as their Judge or their Savior.
During the present Age of Grace, all men can truly seek His face,
The choice is all yours to make, as God you can trust or forsake,
God made His choice at Calvary, to give us a choice for Eternity.
Many will make God their choice, and then their hearts will rejoice,
Some will decide not to believe, looking back later only to grieve,
As this Age comes to a close, all must deal with what they chose,
All men shall see their Creator; may it be for you, sooner not later.

In a Box
A closed mind cannot further taste
Enlightenment or validity of reason
Absence of will to accept negates
A slight hint of proof or explanation.
So leave such a man in his little box
His choice is respected and given free
Why try to even take the sharpest axe
When his soul has dried up like a tree?
There's a time and a season for that man
When the LORD does all His knocking
But even that has a set time to end
It could be too late when he's dying.

Do Or Die
Today I saw my hero fall apart,
the one who taught me to be strong,
on the outside I look fine,
but on the inside I am dying
my strength has overcome my pain
my love for you remains the same
the loneliness is setting in
I have no one to free my sins
It's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's do or die
it's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's your to mine
Now it's my time to help you out,
coz you were there when I was down,
it's hard for me to seal this way
losing all your sanity
you helped me, keep my dreams alive ,
without you how would I survive
it's time for me to be a man
now I finally understand
It's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's do or die
it's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's your to mine
It's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's do or die
it's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's your to mine
I cant run anymore
I cant hide anymore
I cant run anymore
I cant hide anymore
Today I saw my hero fall apart,
the one who taught me to be strong,
on the outside I look fine,
but on the inside I am dying
It's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's do or die
it's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's your to mine
It's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's do or die
it's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's your to mine
It's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's do or die
it's never too late to live your life,
the time is now, it's your to mine
I cant run anymore
I cant hide anymore
