Sapphire Stars

SAPPHIRE STARS

Sapphire stars inset on cream surround,
Unique is image nightly sent to splice
Sundered souls, excitement adding, spice,
As dreams rewrite reality joy crowned.
Night hangs its sleepless head as silent sound
Near, far, unites, spheres’ song [st]rings. Time must dice,
Ensnared, against itself, as virtue vice
Successfully defeats. Fantastic found,
Unscathed by envy, jealousy wraith bound,
Sensations soothing left to their device
Attenuate all cares, share, melting ice,
Neither challenge hope, nor need give ground.
Nature ne’er strays, stays true to way within
Empty each phrase, praise other maids would win.

Sapphire Stars

Sapphire stars set in a sunny sea,
Unique are those soft eyes each night I see,
Since they alone two sundered halves can splice,
And dreams bring to reality, add spice
Ne'er known before, and help the heart soar free.
Night hangs its sleepless head, all cedes to thee
Enraptured, Time against itself does dice
Successfully, and virtue over vice
Unadulterated victory
Soon wins, and Nature owns thy primacy.
All worship at your throne, from men to mice,
None fail to hail thy worth, - none else suffice.
Natural nobility is thine,
Empty is praise apart from all that's thine

STAR-SAPPHIRES

Magic star-sapphires, sun-sky, moonlit sea,
Are those deep orbs absorbing all of me,
Unique they are, and all embracing, splice
Dreams to reality, to life gift spice.
Each complements the other, all can see.
Mooning night hang sleepless head, cast dice
At jealous odds with Love whose victory
Undisputed shines, whose aim’s precise.
Divinity claims homage. In a trice,
Empires surrender, to her swear fealty.

Don't Grieve, Leave! - 1124 - Initial Version

Don't grieve, but, leave, and do so in a trice,
better alone, than moan pain doubled twice.
'If of himself he will not love' advice
is academic - so why starve on rice
when heart and mind may find with roll of dice
a spare rib tasty? Hasty snap the splice.
Waste not the day, turn swift from prison vice
and leave ice scoundrel to his own device.
Does praise aloud from crazy crowd suffice
revising shaky rake with snaky vice?
Dance on, advance, leave loser to his lice,
and unforesworn incite tomorrow's spice.
Counsel in terse verse can't be more precise,
wench grieve not, take French leave, split in terms w[r]it concise.

Dipyramidal - sweet sapphire
Saturation tone and hue
All contribute to sapphires richness
A precious stone of azure blue
Kings - Knights and Knaves would all desire
Their fairest ladies to adorn
A cool blue stone - but full of fire
Dipyramidal - sweet sapphire.

Sapphires gems of situation
Sri Lanka - Kashmir - other places
Pink (padparadshas) - yellow - white
And even green - through iron traces.
Blue is sapphire's presentation
It speaks of truth and constancy
Insight and interpretation.

Bringing calmness - healing tensions
Linked with Zodiac sign of Virgo
Perfecting us in all dimensions.

Fitting in a perfect pattern

I Came, I Saw, Who Conquered?

I CAME, I SAW, WHO CONQUERED?
Music sudden waved Time's blight,
An incarnation of delight
Unchallenged. Naught continued to
Deny bright beauty, spirit true.
Each blush rose paled, blood ruby too.
Magnificence expelling night,
Acknowledged inner thirst quenched through
Unequalled charm, dream beamed delight
DEfying definitions trite.
Magical our planet blue
Appears to Nature, taps into
Unsullied streams of rainbow hue.
Descriptions fail. These splendours span
Eternities unguessed by man.

Flowing Sea

I long for the true sea
No illusions, no pretense
Tides that ripple with mystery
Seagulls free like the breeze

You are centuries of shells
You are deep light on the shore
You are hope shivering in my bones
Everywhere the blue sky lives
I meditate like a saint
Sweet waters of life
The whispers of dawn
Purple blue worlds
Ancient wisdom
Emotions like driftwood
Romance radiates
Renewed by a deep angel

Golden sands give way to moonlight
Shadows wash the night
Foghorns like stars
Soulful lighthouse in the distance
Salty air on a summer night
Dreams of peace
Shrines of stars
The sea never lets me down
Pearl sky perfume
Gates to my soul
Washed in hope
Envy gone
The world behind me
Sapphire religion
Turquoise past and future
Free fires burning with love
Waves shelter the child
The sea flows like an angel

My Love Outshines The Summer Sun (Sonnet Corona)

(after William Shakespeare)

I

My love outshines the summer sun,
even stars in their remote twinkling light
and her eyes are more beautiful, each one
than the stars glimmering at night

Her cheeks is dimpled cute
her hair is an auburn crown,
her cheeks is rosy beyond repute
her hair is sun-shot twisting in a way of their own.

Her lips are more soft and warm
and her spirit is more mild
than a ray of light falling on my arm
or at times more free and wild

than birds where they fly,
my love is like the radiant sapphire sky.

II

My love is like the radiant sapphire sky
like the breeze rustling through trees
so lovely on my eye,
eager to please.

My love is like the summer sun,
like the blue hued sea
always warm and full of fun,
touching me gently

even when the darkness calls
and when time goes to its finality
like a star her light still falls,
my love stays true to me

in every thing her face I see
so gentle, sweet and free.

III

So gentle, sweet and free
my love lives her life
but I long for her to be near to me
in a world without any strive.

Like a lily prospering alone in the marsh
blooming pure and serene,
my darling lives unknown to a world harsh
out of control, away from the limelight scene

and in that rural place
her beauty is untouched by makeup,
filled with a sweet grace
and even in the morning when she wakes up

the sun is in her hair,
my darling is really fair.

IV

My darling is really fair
there are stars in her eyes,
she’s the most beautiful flower found anywhere,
her eyes are much more pure than the bluest skies.

When she smiles at me,
smiling tenderly,
I in her smile blessings see
as if love is there in all of its glory.

Still more so the bliss
that is caught in her kiss
that comes from the divine
which she is making mine

and sometimes the beauty makes her cry,
when the day flutters by.

V

When the day flutters by
with the sun setting red
you will find my love and I
where stars come out from bed,

then like a butterfly
the sun kisses the night,
touches the dark low and high
before it goes by with its last light

and she unloosens my tie
while we watch the full yellow moon,
while the fire in her eyes lie
sparkling, much brighter than the sunny afternoon,

but with a passing bat flying low she catches a fright,
while the stars are shining bright.

VII

While the stars are shining bright
like jewels in the sky’s crown
on a winter night
it has tranquillity, a beauty of its own,

her eyes are radiant,
as if aflame
lovely and brilliant
and of some she know the name

and something indiscernibly small
creeps into the very soul, into the heart
and of it that is all,
a smouldering, something with which we cannot part:

to me she remains the only one in joy and fun,
my love outshines the summer sun.

In Dreams En Route To Stars

In Dreams En Route To Stars
=======================

Let Your Dreams Fuel The Stars
To Light The Night To Peace.
The Peace That Comes With Heart
Of Mind En Route To Dreams.
When Dreamt Thereof A Night
To Comfort A Mind To Rest
When Rest Thereof A Life
In Peace Of Mind To Heart
As Hearts Coalesce As One
When Two Of Hearts To Love
A Peace Sought To Love
An Innocence Felt In Heart
In Heart Of My Virtue.
Of Virtue Divined Of Love
In Peace As Two Unite When One
Fore There To Be A Peace
To Rest The Mind For Love
In Dreams En Route To Stars
When Heart Of Virtue Dreams Of Girl
Seen As Whole Image Of You

Lady of My Dreams

Let signal sparkle slip between silk sheets
And message mind which finds intentions clear,
Daily sought though thought still to appear,
Yet somehow ever present. This defeats
Our understanding, nonetheless completes
Fine-tuned intuitions hinting cheer.
Magically she’ll grace this lower sphere,
Yearned, here on Earth, seems heaven-sent. Conceits
Defeat ambitions as one rarely meets
Recall, prompts karmic. Time deletes most. Fear
Endangers fancied links that disappear.
Awakening masks dreams’ forgotten sweets.
Mayhap map heart has charted day and night
Shows sharing twins to spin soul’s true delight …

Let your sparkle slip between the sheets
And etch within my mind your message clear.
Daily sought it was, still to appear,
Yet somehow ever present. This defeats
Our understanding, nonetheless completes
Fine-tuned intuitions showing, dear,
Magically you grace this lower sphere.
You, here on Earth, seem heaven-sent. Conceits
Dreams seldom spring to life, one rarely meets
Reminders karmic. Time deletes most. Fear
Endangers fancied links that disappear
Awakening brings longing, half-forgotten sweets.
Mayhap map heart charted day and night
Shows you as twin to spin soul’s true delight …

Stars in the dark night

Stars in the dark night, look like angels playing in the sky,
they twinkle and give light
radiant and bright bring life to,
silent sleepy night,
there aura fill the sky with long lasting grace,
whole night stars in sky are not tired of filling,
empty night with their glow taking away the lovers sighs,
stars twinkle never fades like blessing of god given to us,
for living life, their might changes the lonely night into maiden,
beautiful and filled with starry feeling in the eyes..

Nightfall (A Lullaby)

One by one the lights go down
Soon there will be nothing left to see
Night is here

One by one the stars come out
And with the moon will watch us from above
Night is here

Lay your head down to rest
Leave the weary world behind
Close your eyes, don't think twice
There will always be tomorrow

One by one the lights go down
Until there's nothing left to do but dream
Night is here

One by one the stars come 'round
To mark the way and guide us through our dreams
Night is here
Night is here
Night.... is...... here....

Whalesong

As wondrous as the stars at night,
That shine so bright and strong,
The precious joy that brings delight
Is that the whale has song.
The siren of the sapphire seas,
With tunes so lyrical...
To me, these are the things that please,
With each a miracle...

Perhaps it tames the savage beast,
As one of God's celebs
That glides below from west to east
Mid music of the depths...
Perhaps not with another whale,
But there and all alone,
With love his only Holy Grail...
Or Philosopher's Stone...

Like happy humans humming tunes,
Like hummingbirds and such,
The lonesome whale's seen many moons
And dreams of love so much...
When whalesong's played, we listen close,
To each new siren call...
There's only one thing each whale knows,
In life, true love is all...

The Orange Sapphire - By Kitty Cotton (My Great Niece) Aged 11 (Set of three poems)

There it goes high in the silk atmosphere,
There it goes again, but this time it has gone deep down into my lawn.

In the morning,
Bright and early its round yellow head sits in the blue sky,
In the evening,
Colourful and chilly an orange sapphire goes down, away from the peach sky.

There I sit watching and watching the sapphire rise to the heavens and down to the under world!

Night Queen

It was deep midnight
the sky was crystal clear
millions not millions
but billions of stars
assembled in the open sky
was it a procession
or obeisance of Night Queen

The downpour of stars
appeared as undulating scarf
studded with jewels
the humming of stars
was breaking silence of nature
as if
singing in praise of night queen

All stars slowly moved down
to horizon of sky
it was the time
for farewell of Night Queen
The king of the day sent a gift
of morning star to embellish her neck
then with a reddish shawl on her shoulder

I asked one of star
why do you assemble after every dusk
the star could not answer
after asking so many stars
I could know the Venus comes
after every dusk
to receive the Night Queen

The Night Queen comes to meet
her beloved Moon and slowly covers
the face of moon for a night

The Night Queen covers the entire creatures
under her veil to give them rest
and to give relief from days toil.

Midnight

The stars are soft as flowers, and as near;
The hills are webs of shadow, slowly spun;
No separate leaf or single blade is here-
All blend to one.

No moonbeam cuts the air; a sapphire light
Rolls lazily. and slips again to rest.
There is no edged thing in all this night,
Save in my breast.

Gazes

Moving in slow currents
washing against
a beautiful moment
tenderness reaches
to unfold a human trial.

Monumental stars
gaze upon
sapphire blue fringes
an edging hour
rising against the tide.

Beautiful existences
envied by a qualified moon
pure white
gazes upon a smile.

Following
a childish wish
never a failed risk
blazing into a full night
dreams take on light.

Breezing sighs
bring requests
of stars
a distinguished comfort
of a quenching splendor.

Arrival of sailing whims
returning from perils
of sea
the conscience
bleeding into clean waters
gazes the aspiring dawn.

Naked Dice

The orange horizon has but briefly glowed,
And Dice dons her jacket, her only clothes,
And begins her departure for her nearby abode.
Her nightly motive, only the Creator knows.

Because of her spots and freckles everywhere,
Dice, I call her, and nothing more.
Nightly, her footsteps are on my stair.
She’s in no more than a jacket, at my door.

She poses and pokes her nakedness,
As if it was her own invention.
And we spend the night in silent bliss,
For which I give more than honorable mention.

Her delicate figure gleams like the moon.
And in the twilight, erotic display,
As quaint as a familiar tune,
Embellishes my evenings in this way.

Daybreak always seems too near,
For it means her parting, my dear Dice.
So I thank the Creator that she is here,
Dashing the night’s darkness with sugar and spice.

Go West Young Girl, Go West

Somewhere in the western sky
the stars are brighter way up high.
Is it because that's where you are?
I wish that I could see that far.

My vision stops right o'er my head
but my thoughts of you are there instead.
They travel to the place you'd be
and all the stars would shine for me.

I am here and you are there.
There is no time for us to share.
But a lover's memory stays around
and beckons me. I hear its sound.

It says, ' Go west my girl.
It's not so far.
It's much too lonely with just the stars.
And what will happen if I stay?
Will all the stars just fade away
because they sense we are lonely?

Sleepless Eyes Make Sleepless Night

Sleepless eyes make sleepess night
Please world
Give me something to hold on tight,
For even though I have
Sleepless eyes that make sleepess night
I yearn to rest, a rest so peaceful
Only death can make it right.
Sleepless eyes make sleepless night
Please world
Restore my life so it can be in my sight
For all I see is death
Because only death can make it right.
Sleepless eyes that make sleepless night
Rest assues that the world
Will give in and not put up a fight
Otherwise there is but death
Only death can make it right.
Sleepless eyes make sleepless night
Please world
Shine hope back into my life with light
So brightand warm it makes
Death seem not so right.
Sleepless eyes that make sleepness night
Give me the strength and will
That the world will share its might
To fight against death
For only death can make it right.
Sleepless eyes make sleepless night
Please close your eyes
So death will disappear with the sunlight
And let the world
Be the only one to make right.
