P[l]ace not phased day by time, rhyme raised by night,
if there's no wrong may will still praise phrase right,
some corner stranger future friend may greet,
while stranger former friend turns, fiendish plight.
Cause and effect reflect on ends and means
as gridlock smashes into smithereens,
judgemental values must themselves defeat,
beat mind-sets' self-sufficient put up screens.
What's hid is bid unriddled when fond heart
throws rigid reason overboard to start
to separate appearance, surface sheet,
from innner senses' empathy, trust chart.
What's masked behind mind's veil tomorrow may
ignore, few score life's causal keys in play

Stranger In My Own House

I come stumbling in at a quarter to three
To the sound of my own dog growlin at me
Im scared to move or turn on a light
Youve got me creepin around in the dark
Like a thief in the night
Ive got no excuse, I should have known
Ive got no place to live
I never feel at home
I walk into the kitchen to see whats there
Im tired and Im hungry but the cupboards bare
Ive been working all day and all night too
I cant believe this is all I have to come back to

Who Do You Rely On?
As your world goes on day by day, who or what is your mainstay?
The One, who is The Only Way, will also sustain you from day to day.
Christ can not only be your end, He can guide you daily, my friend.
Friends can change their mind, but Christ is the same all the time.
When your world seems to fall apart, who or what calms your heart?
God will calm your heart in life, through the power of Jesus Christ.
Not only does He calm your fears, He can wipe away all your tears.
Christ can put your mind at ease, and fill your heart with eternal peace.
When someone close to you is unjust, whom can you place your trust?
When your friends leave for fear, He’s a friend who is always near.
Disappointed by those close to you, there’s a friend who’s always true.
When your friends forsake you, Christ will stay to see you through.

I Will Always Be A Stranger In This Town
Here I'll never even know local renown
I will always be a stranger in this Town
Some of the locals body language tell me what their tongues don't say
He is not one of us he is from far away.
I'm a stranger here I was born and raised elsewhere
And with most locals little in common I do share
I'm very much an outsider 'twould seem
And I don't even barrack for their football team.
From them I do not try to woo their wives
And my presence amongst them does not effect their lives
Yet for some strange reason unbeknown to me
A threat of sorts some of them in me see.
We live in an age that's corrupted by fear
And you need not scratch too hard for to find racism here
Parochial sorts in their own small ways can be rude
All outsiders from their own groups they exclude.
Even if I could their wives from them I would not try to lure away
Yet here I do not make a new friend every day
To many here mine's not a welcome face
I will always be a stranger in this place.

WELCOME STRANGER
Welcome stranger, settle bed and board,
Rest sore, weary head while dreamless sleep
both body, mind repairs. Let slumber deep

Today prepares tomorrow's change to keep
appointments neither 'good' nor 'ill', to reap
stimulating speculations scored
