Mistrust & Self-Sacrifice

Now like scar[r]ed moth around some sacred fire
On fragile wings she flutters to and fro,
Raising expectations soon brought low,
Entertaining self-delusion's choir.
As phoenix, sacrificed to suitors’ ire,
Long has she longed for longing, sought to know
Intense emotions, feelings’ easy flow,
Not framed response to worry's red hot wire.
Growth and warmth, shared tenderness, desire,
Remain ambitions though unkept vows show
Only mistrust of motives. Fast turns slow.
When answer lies within, no magic lyre
Tunes out to in to win through from dark fears.
Here fear of self-love through rued mask appears...

Passion

The keys to notes play tunes of loss,
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
'Til metal enshrouding the air does trump with
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
Wood and string provide a base for
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
Encased in brass belong the bones of
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
Emblems and traps do kick and swear by
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.

Until laughter disturbs this sweet eden,
My tortured soul lies bare.
I leave my emotions encapsulated
In sonic vibrations of air.

The tunes of longing and tunes of blues
Are played until the eve
When players no longer respect their tears
And thus, themselves, deceive.

Don't Go Too Fast

Verse 1:
Destination nowhere land
Let us find a place where heartaches end
It's good to hold you tight
Just make me surrender
Come on in and find out baby
We got time and hope and dreams enough
So don't you hurry love
Chorus:
Oh baby babe don't go too fast
Feel the rhythm of my heart
Don't you go for everything
I'm not a puppet on a string
Baby babe don't go too fast
Play it cool and make it last
Baby let your feelings flow
Just take it easy - get it slow
Love can be so beautiful
Feel the rhythm of my heart
Verse 2:
It's a "now or never-night"
Baby don't you try to break my pride
I've got magic words:
Together forever
Take away the spell of darkness
Baby come into my world of fears
To kiss away my tears
Chorus:
Oh baby babe don't go too fast
Feel the rhythm of my heart
Don't you go for everything
I'm not a puppet on a string
Baby babe don't go too fast
Play it cool and make it last
Baby let your feelings flow
Just take it easy - get it slow
Love can be so beautiful
Feel the rhythm of my heart
Bridge:
Take a chance on me tonight
Baby look inside of me - you'll see
The flames of destiny
Chorus:
Oh baby babe don't go too fast
Feel the rhythm of my heart
Don't you go for everything
I'm not a puppet on a string
Baby babe don't go too fast
Play it cool and make it last
Baby let your feelings flow
Just take it easy - get it slow
Love can be so beautiful
Feel the rhythm of my heart
Baby babe don't go too fast
Feel the rhythm of my heart
yeah yeah oh oh
Love can be so beautiful
Feel the rhythm of my heart

Sometimes A Mind Changes

He heard a voice call his name
Pulling hard and telling him to make some change
He let a lot pass him by
Sacrificed his sacred fire to buy some time
To let it go sounds easy
What used to be a certainty
Is shifting with the sands of time
Sometimes a mind changes
Then another hearts got to fly away
She had a dream of family
Two by thirty
Living in love in tenderness
She let a lot pass her by
Sacrificed her sacred fire to buy some time
Letting go sounds easy
What used to be a certainty
Aint true
Sometimes a mind changes
Then another hearts got to fly away

Chain Lightning

Sometimes when I'm thinkin that love's not around
My heart begins sinkin, I don't hear a sound
And the world is in blackness, no light shines on me
I suffer no blindness, no one can I see
Then a flash from the heavens, like loud jagged wire
And the silence is broken, and the night is on fire.
(Chorus)
It's like chain lightning, this love that I feel
Who knows where it strikes
Or when it will hit
How long it will last, or when it will quit
In the forest I'm burnin, struck down by the blast
The fever is churnin, and the heat rises fast
And those standing nearest can show their concern
But swear if they touch me, that they too will burn
They fear for their lives, for death will soon dwell
In the warmth of your love is the fire of hell.
(Chorus)
It's like chain lightning, this love that I feel
Who knows where it strikes
Or when it will hit
How long it will last, or when it will quit
And soon the sparks scatter and the wind whips the flame
And love will soon shatter what it cannot tame
And the cycle continues from life into dust
For I am now in you, with the fire of lust
I hear the explosion, and the thunder and rain
The water is falling, and the ashes remain.
(Chorus)
It's like chain lightning, this love that I feel
Who knows where it strikes
Or when it will hit
How long it will last, or when it will quit
The Indians tell us that the phoenix can rise
From teh smoldering ashes that once were my eyes
And watch beautiful colors from black and from grey
Be formed into wings and then take me away
Where evil is darkness and goodness is light
And love is the lightning that cust through the night
And strikes only once in a dark place in time
And forms a fold stairway that all of us climb.

A Sonnet

Flattering Hope, away and leave me,
She'll not come, thou dost deceive me;
Hark the cock crows, th' envious light
Chides away the silent night;
Yet she comes not, oh ! how I tire
Betwixt cold fear and hot desire.

Here alone enforced to tarry
While the tedious minutes marry,
And get hours, those days and years,
Which I count with sighs and fears
Yet she comes not, oh! how I tire
Betwixt cold fear and hot desire.

Restless thoughts a while remove
Unto the bosom of my love,
Let her languish in my pain,
Fear and hope, and fear again;
Then let her tell me, in love's fire,
What torment's like unto desire?

Endless wishing, tedious longing,
Hopes and fears together thronging;
Rich in dreams, yet poor in waking,
Let her be in such a taking:
Then let her tell me in love's fire,
What torment's like unto desire?

Come then, Love, prevent day's eyeing,
My desire would fain be dying:
Smother me with breathless kisses,
Let me dream no more of blisses;
But tell me, which is in Love's fire
Best, to enjoy, or to desire?

Thats The Way Love Goes

Like a moth to a flame
Burned by the fire
My love is blind
Cant you see my desire?
Thats the way love goes
Like a moth to a flame
Burned by the fire
My love is blind
Cant you see my desire?
Like a moth to a flame
Burned by the fire
My love is blind
Cant you see my desire
Thats the way love goes

Burned by the fire
Thats the way love goes
My love is blind
Cant you see my desire?
Come with me
Dont you worry

Music Band

Music band still plays and hold good as part of procession
Everybody prefer their presence in the opening up of session
They are still good at playing old music with famous tunes
It is general belief that good beginning brings the fortune

I heard from distance lovely music of band
May be they were the people dancing in marriage of friend
It approached the street blaring tunes from the far end
Wife was near and caught me mildly with the hold of hand

We both were happy and slipped in to old memory
it was cause of great concern at that time and matter of worry
I had happily consented and agreed to marry
Promised all the way to adhere to the responsibility and carry

The days Passed off easily like water flow
So peaceful, calm and quiet with maturity to grow
No worry, tension but ready to accept natural blow
Growth was fast but I kept pace little slow

She had never become so emotional
Held my hand with grip and intentional
She wanted to say thanks with little sparkle
Her grace was unique and very remarkable

Do you have anything specific in mind?
Do you want me something to find?
“No” came an answer from her with little tears
Separation at any time was cause of worry with fears

why are you thinking on those irrelevant matter?
Are you not well and feeling better? I asked
“I think but on different lines” was her answer
I have no clue but to offer suggestions fewer

What if, you and I are separated never?
Do you think it can happen in our life ever?
How one can or may get along in world?
Relation with all may freeze and get cold

This sudden Volvo from her sent shiver in spine
First time I felt it may prove true and she was not going to be mine
Was her indication real for sudden departure?
Was the fear for future was unwarranted and immature?

I failed to catch nerves and grasp her real intention
never before she has made any such mention
this proved as something new and bolt from the blue
I wondered and tried to know but found no clue

It gifted me many sleepless nights
was she correct in her own way and right?
I wondered but soon felt warmth in her hand
Music was dying away with passing of band

How Many, How Long

How many time wasted, how many
how many promises you said, to me
how many love I sacrificed, how many
how many scar scratched, my heart
I can't forget, I can't get out
pain feeling, fool longing
vague memory trapped in my heart
but no more love left

How long I've been waiting, how long
how long my heart tormented, your behavior
how long I live in vain, how long
how long my tears flow, like river
now it's over, now it's all done
storm in my soul, chained heart
don't keep me if you don't love me
let our promise becomes dust and ash

Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic

Though I've tried before to tell her
Of the feelings I have for her in my heart
Every time that I come near her
I just lose my nerve
As I've done from the start
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
Do I have to tell the story
Of a thousand rainy days since we first met
It's a big enough umbrella
But it's always me that ends up getting wet
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
I resolve to call her up a thousand times a day
And ask her if she'll marry me in some old fashioned way
But my silent fears have gripped me
Long before I reach the phone
Long before my tongue has tripped me
Must I always be alone?
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on

Trip My Wire

Be easy on me
I'm fragile
I'm easily broken

Be careful with me
I'm a fighter
And you're cheating
You're a liar

I don't need this anymore
This is not what I came for
I won't stand for this at all
I won't see you anymore

Be easy on me
Don't trip my wire
I'm freaking
I'm on fire

Be easy on me
Trip my wire
I'm freaking
I'm on fire

I don't need this any more
This is not what I came for
I won't stand for this at all
I won't see you any more

Be careful with me
I'm fragile
I'm a bitch

Woman's Skepticism

love, desire, passion, fire, is all the qualities that you seek
for this is what will make you complete.

the man will normally have the passion and desire
while the woman has the love and the fire.
his desires could light a stack of timber
and leave your body totally limber.

it will grow so strong, that it turns into passion
and not caring about which feelings is in fashion.
he has to quench this irresistible urge
burning every part of his being
and this is all that he is seeing.

the fire spreads throughout his brain
leaving him totally insane.
he finally realizes that this ' must be love'.

and these feelings were all brought on by you
and to his heart, he must be true.

when you finally find a man who has all these qualities
you have become so skeptical
that these qualities you do not see.

open your eyes for i am here.
let me take away that fear.
my love has become embedded so deep in my soul
that my heart it did take hold.

Sweet Mask

Hi dear, Hello dear
I remember father telling us,
Of girls, who hid behind curtains
Of girls who lit fires
On faces of, to be, bridegrooms
Of maids who wore masks.
And to reveal, were suitors.

The mask, I have seen
This mask, that ye have won
I wish I would peel
I know, beneath lies, no stern
Beneath, a longing, honeyed
Heart, lies in heaven
Ecstasy, a waits, a clock ticks
Sweet mask, ye will, peel!

Romantic Collision

In my mind lies a thought
a wonderful assumption
of an imaginary bump
so delightful and ecstatic
coming across my dream love
in such romantic collision.

With a passionate apology
a reciprocating handshake
mind blowing flashback
placing the familiarity
of your captivating beauty
in our once but lost
thrilling encounter.

A look of love at second sight
getting acquainted again for love
a steady gaze at charming eyes
getting carried away by lust.

Taking you back to past events
our long nice romantic stroll
of intense feelings being expressed
pleading then to be just a friend
when schooling split us up to part,
having to see your face no more
I've longed and longed and waited still
for such nice romantic collision.

Making sure we part no more
and having you all by my side
fixing up fast a date with you
with hope to see you once again.

A sweet share of intense feelings
and lovely share of sentiments
having such a sweet assumption
hold on realistic manifestation
of such nice imaginary passion
becoming but a true love story
of a sweet nice romantic collision.

Rubaiyat of Ghosts

One can, who strangers scan, too few admire,
as most play ghosts deprived of phantom choir,
tripping, tripping up, upon life’s board,
stillborn refuting intimate desire.

In game of give and take what ranks the higher
self-interest or charity? Enquire
about ambitions intimate, bond word,
suspicion from the shadows whispers: 'Liar! '

Most men as puppets dance upon a wire
taut from birth to death, - as seller, buyer,
taught to act and not to BE - Fate’s sword
to dust must sooner, later, each retire.

So few dare seek far stars, less dare aspire
for freedom, seldom search above their mire,
for seventy or eighty years life’s cord
they eke out, seldom seeking something higher.

A burning bush survived the blazing fire,
and witness stands to Time the purifier -
yet oil on troubled waters oft is poured
by those who spurn each prophet as a liar.

Life is too short. Who’d play the poet’s lyre
must tame the vagrant strings, the versifier
tunes into harmony whose every chord
responds to inspiration all desire.

Tendeness

Tenderness has million of faces and names,
Tenderness has million of secrets and signs.
It is in the autumns rains,
It is in the young wines.

Tenderness is a high flying bird,
It’s in the light breath of the wind.
It can be everywhere heard,
It can never be sinned.

Tenderness can be in crystal tears
Shining on your eyelashes.
It can be in timid rays of dawn,
It can be in warm sea splashes.

Tenderness is in all around,
It’s so easy to be found.
Wake up without vanity or flatness
And you will feel the tenderness.

Tenderness is in the quivering heart,
It turns your arms into the wings.
It can create a fine art,
Make a lot of beautiful things.

It fills your soul with magic light,
And all around becomes marvelous and bright.

That Magic Spell

How long I awaited that magic spell?
Everything was as per plan and going well
Eyes so much hungry and ready to reveal
May be intense desire and story real

What cold wind had to do here?
Except to sweep breeze with fear
Body fully shivering and longing for peace
How come that moment come at ease?

Swift knock at the door but heart picks it poor
Miss’s beats and waiting for rain to shower
The powerful hand just pushes way to enter
I lay in bed calm and quiet but with fear at the centre

I fear something wrong but ache sweet
He has specially come to see me and greet
I had read and reread message on paper sheet
It spoke of intense desire to see and meet

The surrounding was so appealing and lay open
I expected something to happen then
He loved me and lay just by the side
I could do nothing except eyes open and wide

He was murmuring something in ears
I had waited it for considerable years
Now the wait was going to be over
Yet I put the hands over eyes as cover

“Will you share, sink and swim together”?
I lay motionless and could not reply there
He was leaning and wrapping hands around
I sank fast and immeasurable joy was found

His words were most inviting and intoxicating
I had no desire for to end and started sweating
He lifted completely and laid me on the ground
I feared he had all in his to claim for flesh for pound

I sensed enormous joy and deep sensation
It was making me swim with some elevation
What was I up to this time as virgin toy?
He came down violently on me as powerful boy

The sky is overcast with dark clouds
Making powerful impact with lots of sound
I wished it to pour heavily and satisfy
I could breathe no more and felt shy

Well that was nicely rehearsed and over
Its end seemed to me like stopover
What was I dreaming for all these long years?
I thought it over but now without any fears

Sacre du Printemps

SPun lines like sparkling wines flow fast
RIpen spirit, winter past,
None grieve, freeze melts, warm zephyr breeze
Grants blossom, birdsong, leaves the trees.

SPontaneous seems growth Spring’s cast,
RIot runs, through Summer last,
Nature explodes in sprig and sprout.
Gusts sprung when young keep age sage, stout.

SPeech shared may reach fair pair’s desire
RIng golden satisfies to fire
New inspiration poet’s lyre
Gladly interprets, cannot tire.

SPirit of pride rides high at noon
RIch too soon, proves seldom boon,

Gifts light, lifts dark uncertainties.

RIse butterflies, blooms, birds in tune, -
Now sow, tomorrow harvest reap,
Glow now, now grow, then, cheerful, sleep...

Expelled from Eden - 1892

Shifting shadows shroud proud hopes once bright,
Expectations dampen, disconnect.
Sweet promise teeters, sudden circumspect.
Time's march mutes rhyme, climb turns descent, delight
Over as promise peters out despite
Love's theme which once seemed shared song strong, dream decked
Enchantingly with passions too perfect.
Magic unsustained, heart pained, from flight,
Yet still protesting, falls into dark night.
Vacant stare, anticipations wrecked,
On oaths unkept, rejection, broods. Respect
Is battered, sjattered joy leaves painful bite.
Confidence, contested, tasting tears,
Expelled from Eden, traces wasted years.
