Halloween Yolin
HALLOWEEN YOLIN
Charming her smile. Black painted hat
Halloween prepared by night.
Rising from sheets of purest white
In haste she dressed, caressed the cat.
Scorpions, spiders, sable bat,
The table decked, while pumpkin bright
Inside did glow with candle light.
No pains she spared while father sat,
Eyed lips dyed in vermillion vat, -
Yet inside thoughts turned out not! Kite
Only flew to test insight.
Light-hearted talk tripped pitapat.
If Tuesday's dinner she renews
No other venu would I choose!

An Ode to Halloween
I am new to writing poems and I hope I can learn from all of you.
By the way, I learned how to write this kind of poem because of
An Ode to Christmas. Thank you very much!
An Ode to Halloween
When you see a child
In a costume scary and wild
You know it is Halloween.
When kids go trick-or-treats
And get lots and lots of sweets
You know it is Halloween.
When the trees give up their yellow leaves
And the dead give back their R.I.P.s
You know it is Halloween.
An Ode to scrumptious snacks

My Halloween Spirit (The Ghost That Carries The Jack-O-Lantern)
From my childhood and now to adulthood
I always knew when to expect you
I always knew when you'd come around
Because you're a part of my lifetime
You're my halloween spirit
Even though you're dressed perfectly as a ghost
While carrying a jack-o-lantern in your hands
Even though I've gotten older
You still inspire me to celebrate Halloween
As well as keeping on instilling a love for me of Halloween
The years keep on flying by
But every year since my childhood
You still know me
You still remember me
You still inspire me to celebrate Halloween
As well as still encouraging me, to have the love that I have for Halloween
Even after all these years

L'Amour qui me tourmente
L'Amour qui me tourmente
Je trouve si plaisant
Que tant plus il s'augmente
Moins j'en veux estre exemt :
Bien que jamais le somme
Ne me ferme les yeux,
Plus amour me consomme
Moins il m'est ennuyeux.
Toute la nuit je veille
Sans cligner au sommeil,
Remembrant la merveille
Qui me tient en éveil,
Me representant celle
Que je voy tout le jour,
De qui l'image belle
Travaille mon sejour.
Toute nuit son image
Se montre devant moy :
Le trait de son visage
Tout tel qu'il est je voy :
Je voy sa belle bouche,
Et je voy son beau sein,
Ses beaux tetins je touche,
Et je baise sa main.
Le jour si ma Maistresse
Favorable m'a ris,
Il faut que j'en repesse
Toute nuit mes espris.
Si d'une oeillade gaye
Elle m'a fait faveur,
La nuit sa douce playe
Me chatouille le coeur.
S'elle égaye la place
De son bal gracieux,
Toute la nuit sa grace
Recourt devant mes yeux :
Si en douce merveille
J'ay ouy sa chanson,
Toute nuit en l'oreille
J'en regoute le son.
O heureuse ma vie
De jouïr d'un tel heur !
Non, non, je n'ay envie
D'avoir d'un dieu l'honneur,
Puis qu'à souhet je passe
Et la nuit et le jour,
Recueillant tant de grace
Du tourment de l'amour.

Hymne
Toute gloire près d'eux passe et tombe éphémère ;
Passe sur leur sépulcre où nous nous inclinons ;

Halloween In April{for The Kids Of The Hall}
in a window, sat a pumpkin of light
to thrill the kids with fear and fright
to gaurd the candy, of halloweens eve
and prove that halloween, is no make believe
his grin was toothy, off and large
and you could see him from way, out in the yard
kids would walk by
but they wouldnt stop
there were safer places, to candy shop
but no matter where you were
in this new neighborhood
you could see that pumpkin
really good
framed by darkness of the shrill october night
his white hot candle, was the only night
but one brave kid, walking by
got too close
and could see the pumpkins eyes
and to this day
that one kid does swear
that pumpkin screamed
its halloween all year! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
there you go kids of the hall.be chill and eat burger king for lunch for me, less you live on amelia island, where our burger king is torn down, then eat mcdonalds.

Halloween
Masquerade, masquerade
Grab your mask and dont be late
Get out get out well disguised
Heat and fever in the air tonight
Meet the others at the store,
Knock on other peoples door
Trick or treat they have the choice,
Little ghosts are makin lotsa noise
But watch out. . .beware--listen. . .take care
Chorus
In the streets on halloween
Theres something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, its hell or paradise
Ah--its halloween
Ah--its halloween. . .tonight!
Someones sitting in a field,
Never giving yield
Sitting there with gleaming eyes,
Waiting for big pumpkin to arise
Bad luck if you get a stone,
Like the good old charlie brown
You think linus could be right
The kids will say its just a stupid lie
But watch out. . .beware--listen. . .take care
Chorus
Listen now--we are calling you. . .
And there is magic in the air
Magic in the air. . .on halloween
Black is the night full of fright
Youll be missing the day
What will be here very soon
Changing your way
A knock at your door
Is it real or is it a dream
On trembling legs you open the door
And you scream. . . .on halloween
Darkness
Where am I now
Is there anybody out there
What has happened
Am I in heaven
Or is it hell
I can see a light comin
Its comin nearer
Its shining
Its shining so bright
Its shining on me
I am the one, dooms in my hands
Now make your choice,
Redeemed or enslaved
Ill show you passion and glory
He is the snake
Ill give you power and abundance
Hes the corrupter of man
Save me from the evil one
Give me strength to carry on
I will fight for all mankinds
Deliverance and peace of mind
But watch out. . .beware--listen. . .take care
Chorus
Yeah, its halloween
Yeah, its halloween. . .tonight

Halloween I Am
This is the winning poem of the Jon London's The Halloween Challenge last year.
Hello! ! This is the last night of October Speaking! !
Ghoulish costumes and Jack-O -Lantern is what I’m seeking
Hobgoblins, ghosts, witches all are freaky freaking
I parade around the neighbourhood when kids are tricking
Trick or treating, bob for apples anything will do
Beg for soul-cakes when skeletons say –“BOO”!
Instead of turnips the perfect pumpkin carved
Candy Factory, Creepy Cupcakes are you all starved?
Black cats drink water breaking superstitious dam
So, Beware! Spooky grim night Halloween I am! ! ! !

Geraniums would blush
GERANIUMS WOULD BLUSH
Geraniums would blush to see her lips,
And Helen Paris plaster prove to be.
In years to come when rainbow’s mystery
Lies secret solved all souls will know their trips
Have in one smile their origin. Eclipse
Afrights the sun when warming light none see.
Resplendent, ever human quality
Confirmed is from those pearly finger-tips –
Unless Truth lies – to crown from toes to hips.
Such sparkle springs divine, as all agree.
Glad honey-bees for nectar forage free,
Alas for them – not one such sweetness sips!
In platitudes most writers refuge seek –
Life’s poesy through one alone shall speak.

C'était en juin, dans le jardin
C'était en juin, dans le jardin,
C'était notre heure et notre jour ;
D'un air frêle comme la soie ;
Et veut le ciel entier pour resplendir ;

Car tu me regardais avec toute ton âme !
Des choses d'ici-bas ;
Où mille instincts profonds nous fixent nuit et jour ;

Halloween Day
My life, just got grim
My life, on account of him
You had a chance
You could have made it again
Are you really gonna marry her on
Halloween day
Halloween day
Your wife is torn apart
Beware of her haunted heart
I thought you had a chance
I thought youd make it again
I never really thought youd marry her on
Halloween day
Halloween day
And somethings spooky in the pit of my heart
And somethings stirring in the trunk of my car
My name(? ) is itching on the roof of my houses(? )
Dont go out
Dont go out
Dont go out after
Go out after dark
After dark
After dark
After dark on
Halloween day
Halloween day
My life, just got grim
My life, on account of him
On account of him
On account of him
On account of him

Halloween On The Barbary Coast
Well, the retards laughed
When the evening came
The librium makes them
All the same
And boy, you still got
Shit for brains
Its halloween on the coast again
Well the clowns roll in
And the line never ends
We get the last part
We get the bends
And the bends always last
Till the blast
And they sucked us down in the hole again
And its halloween on the barbary coast
Well, the mothers smiled
When the morning came
Under the christmas tree
They looked all the same
And boy, you still got
Shit for brain
And its halloween all over again

God's Will
I met God's Will on a Halloween night
He was dressed as a bag of leaves
It hid the braces on his legs at first
His smile was as bright as the August sun
When he looked at me
As he struggled down the driveway, it almost
Made me hurt
Will don't walk too good
Will don't talk too good
He won't do the things that the other kids do,
In our neighborhood
[Chorus:]
I've been searchin', wonderin', thinkin'
Lost and lookin' all my life
I've been wounded, jaded, loved and hated
I've wrestled wrong and right
He was a boy without a father
And his mother's miracle
I've been readin', writin', prayin', fightin'
I guess I would be still
Yeah, that was until
I knew God's Will
Will's mom had to work two jobs
We'd watch him when she had to work late
And we'd all laugh like I hadn't laughed
Since I don't know when
Hey Jude was his favorite song
At dinner he'd ask to pray
And then he'd pray for everybody in the world but him
[Chorus]
Before they moved to California
His mother said, they didn't think he'd live
And she said each day that I have him, well it's just
another gift
And I never got to tell her, that the boy
Showed me the truth
In crayon red, on notebook paper, he'd written
Me and God love you
I've been searchin', prayin', wounded, jaded
I guess I would be still
Yeah that was until...
I met God's Will on a Halloween night
He was dressed as a bag of leaves

On Halloween
On Halloween the sky was scarred
With full moon stuck, a piercing shard,
Within a hole, the eye of night,
Above the smell of death and fright,
Along a bone laced boulevard.
The corpses, dragged from crypts unbarred,
The flames, they gazed, with pale regard,
At roasting rot, a blood soaked sight...
On Halloween.
The bones, they blanched within the yard,
Again to have their evening marred,
By ghouls and fiends who rip and bite
With claws and fangs which drip delight
While gorging flesh, so slightly charred...
On Halloween.

Et qu'à travers le corps même, l'amour soit clair ;
Et tes deux mains me sont tendues ;

Les grands astres d'argent tracent là-haut leur route ;
