From Weeds' Ground to Seeds Found

As weeds which struggle spite capricious light,
each generation reaches out for space,
each generation fights to mark its place
before the next, forgetful, frets Time’s night.

As weeds we wither when our mortal plight
severs theme's thread, dreams seem too often vain
before most seek beyond pain's wi[n]dow pane
which separates won world from Nature’s bite.

Few glow within, wing free flight holiday,
few fail to compromise, in any case
few dare prolong the moment’s state of grace
when faced with choice – heed winning voice “We may! ”

Where rare exception to fools’ rule is found,
weeds fail to fuel foul play, rot healthy ground.

Where chance encounter contradicts Earth's dearth
of understanding and enlightenment
one rose through smog's pollution spreading scent
is worth wait's weight, may herald hope's rebirth.

Where joy and reciprocity share berth
with touching tenderness, no supplement
should be sought after as entitlement,
enjoy Time's gifts and revel in paired mirth.

Who seeks on land or sea, our wide world's girth
for satisfaction in life's sojourn lent
may well discover to his doorstep's sent
bliss peerless trading restlessness for worth.

Bid welcome earnest stranger at your gate,
maybe [s]he holds gold keys joys conjugate.

As Life is Mirage - Acrostic Sonnet

As dusk to dawn succeeds, so death to birth,
Swift arcs the arrow, with the ark of man,
Lost on Time’s sea, while his allotted span
Is soon forgotten, dry-docked, - narrow berth.
For dust to dust returns, earth turns to earth;
Each sickled moon a sickly herald, wan,
Is witness to impermanence. The plan
Spins to Fate’s farce fast ending. Light and mirth
Must fade or jade before they prove their worth.
In earnest, blazing brightly, nothing can
Remain eternal, beacon Hope can’t scan,
And flame as ‘fixèd mark’ – and so its dearth,
Ghost mirage, mocks love’s life and locks life’s love -
End is in sight, flight spent, expressed above.

Someday At Christmas

(r. miller/b. wells)
Someday at christmas men wont be boys
Playing with bombs like kids play with toys
One warm december our hearts will see
A world where men are free
Someday at christmas therell be no war
When we have learned what christmas is for
When we have found what lifes really worth
Therell be peace on earth
Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at christmas
Someday at christmas well see a land
With no hungry children
No emtpy hand
One happy morning people will share
A world where people care
Someday at christmas
Therell be no tears
When all men are equal
No man has fears
One shining moment
One prayer away
From our world today
Someday at christmas
Men will not fail
Hate will be gone
And love will prevail
Someday a new world
That we can start
With hope in every heart
Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at christmas time

Tempest Tossed

New Year here heralds cares to come, scarce cheer,
In this age of transition where the earth,
New born, is torn protesting at its birth,
Emerging prematurely from the bier
That too well represents the dying year.
Each breath brings death towards us, proves its worth
Eternal yet ephemeral, tears, mirth.
Not in itself, but by an insight clear
Nature gifts bestows on who know dear
Is bought all liberty sought where its dearth
Never seemed so much the rule through wide world's girth.
Enter a clown, whose painted smile masks fear.
The Past is dead. New forces Fate shall steer.
Yet hide-bound minds remain too tied to berth,
Trammelled with ghosts past, whereas the earth
Witness whirlpool, progress drawing near: -
Oh, tempest tossed Tomorrow shall appear!

Avoiding The Weeds

Come out from among the strife, unto The Savior, Jesus Christ,
From the weeds of worldliness, unto the Son of Righteousness;
Out from a world of dark despair, into The Lord’s love and care,
From a world of darkened blight, into The Lord’s Glorious Light.

Around us is such pain and strife, in this world, where sin is rife,
With many hindered by the weeds, as they attend to their needs,
Providing for the family’s care, they find temptation everywhere,
So in the darkness of the night, we truly need The Savior’s Light.

Weeds surround us in many ways, as we live life in darker days,
Even finding their way inside, The Church, for whom Jesus died,
Into the Church of Jesus Christ, His people, bought with a price,
As darkness finds its way within, the Body, God saved from sin.

In an increasingly darkened time, by our Lord God’s own design,
He is our Strength and a Tower, for believers to flee to any hour;
To this Tower the Righteous flee, Believers, just like you and me,
In this Tower strength is found, for us to stand on higher ground.

As God’s Truth a soul heeds, the man of God avoids the weeds,
With freedom in Christ our Lord, while the weeds can go ignored,
With our Savior right by our side, in Christ’s Spirit we shall abide,
To live daily, in the Light of God, led by our Lord’s staff and rod.

The Time Of Albion

Here comes the birth of a new dawn,
a time when every hopes can be look up.
A moment of divine transformation,
that will change the destiny of our generation.
A generation of great attribute,
where the fate of the world will be accepted without dispute.
A generation of people with good character,
whose theme will be ' THEY LIVED HAPPY EVER AFTER '.
A time when sound of war will be forgotten,
and where every sins will be forgiven.
A time of divine & everlasting peace,
were our joy and happiness will not be on lease.
A world full of happy citizen,
with enermous blessings from heaven.
A time when evil will be erradicated,
and every single good deed will be counted.
A time full of brotherly love,
from people who are as gentle as a dove.
A realm of unity amongs nations,
where people will have to live without segregation.
A time when people are shown care,
where they won't have to live their lives with fear.
A time when there will be a chance of a rebirth,
without walking through the path of death.
A time of equal rainfall and sunshine,
when every darkness will be outshine.
A generation of people connected by a single bond,
and euthesastic of a peaceful world beyound.
A time of heavenly bliss,
when every thing will not be done amiss.
A time when everybody will be seen as one,
when the battle for good will have been won.
It is only through the acceptance of God,
that this extraordinary generation can be applaud.
Through the repentance from our sins,
that's only when this amazing time can be seen.
If only we can trust and love God with our heart,
our hope for this unique world will not be torn apart.
For he alone can put this world in the palm of our hand,
and give ur a reassured and a peace of mind.

And I... Et in Arcadia Ego Fui - Thesis and Antithesis

Exacting wrinkled tribute line by line,
Time moulds the tale of each unfolding year,
Entrancing for a spell, til tumbling tear
Gouges ruts, cuts trembling Columbine.
Old age advances, hope must undermine.
Insubordinate to fard soon fears
Neath cold creams mushroom, one by one appear
As added sores when worries serpentine,
Respect refusing riches. Cheques can’t sign
Contentment, winter chimney, summer cheer.
At last, with hoary beard and bitter bier.
Descendant is the star which proud would shine.
It is no tree of life that rings the earth,
And I in shadows walk, yet fear rebirth...

Entrance for a spell can also bring
Timeless memories mind may rebirth,
Enraged entrapment caged, as from paged berth
Guard lifted, sentry spurned, free soul shall spring
Over, above man's mortal limits, sing
Intuitive true joy, transmit from Earth
New song old garments dress with healing mirth.
Address hope's message spiting mortal sting.
Rush counter clock, wise swirl and spiral, wing
Climbing skywards, surfing, soaring, worth
At last discover, mock apparent dearth,
Deride vain scoffer's coffer-coffin ring.
If life's tree be but mirage, still its leaves
Awake joy's book, whose leaves forget life grieves.

Together

Refrain
Together forever for all the time
Together we welcome the secret sign
Together in freedom we take the chance
Together forever we will be friends
Refrain 2
We are what we are - Together
And we went so far - Together
We are what we are - Together
We all long for a land to be free
Verse 1
The promised land is close to you
The rain is gone, the sky is blue
Hand in hand we can survive
Were fighting for a better life
Bridge:
Its a new generation
Without hate and frustration
Promised land, promised nation
Without pain, without control
Verse 2:
Planet earth is our place
Insanity is lost in space
A world of dreams is what we share
Where honesty is in the air
Rap:
Together forever for all the time
Together we welcome the secret sign
Together in freedom we take the chance
Together forever we will be friends

Sonnet- God's The Weed-puller

Despite my sweat and toil with pen and hoe;
My rose-filled garden grows recurrent weeds;
God plans to give me roses all the more;
A small reward for my good thoughts and deeds.

This time, God picks the weeds in His own style;
Each one by Hand with intact roots and stem;
And burns them all thoroughly in a pile;
And plans to give to me the diadem.

The ways of God are strange but never fail;
With woeful hearts, He pines for righteous souls;
I need not fight hereafter by e-mail;
God is plugging the Rodent, Snake, Fox holes.

No more, my garden can grow lethal weeds;
God will provide His honest people's needs.

Cui Bono

1.

Why should we care for storms that rave and rend,
Safe at our household hearth?
Unknowing whence we came, or where we wend,
Why should we ache and toil, and waste and spend,
Treading from no beginning to no end,
An uncrowned martyr's path?

2.

Is it worth while to suffer, when we might,
Like happier men, be blest
With that dull blindness that desires no light,
That peaceful soul that feels no need to fight,
Nor thirsts for liberty, and truth, and right,
But lives its life at rest?

3.

Is it worth while to work, and strive, and learn —
To sow where none may reap?
Is it worth while to rage, and fret, and yearn
For nameless treasure that we cannot earn?
Is it worth while in fever- fires to burn,
While wise men eat and sleep?

4.

Is it worth while to care for praise or blame,
This little time we live,
When purest deeds are oftenest put to shame?
To pant for noble strife and lofty fame,
When gold seems better than a stainless name,
Or all the world can give?

5.

Is it worth while for friendship's gift to sue,
For friendship's joys to crave?
When sordid tests, that bring us ruth and rue,
And sorrowful years, alone discern the clue
That tells us what is false and what is true,
And what we lose or save?

6.

To open wide our sanctuary door
Some welcome guest to greet,
To find, perchance, when we have shown our store,
The sacred places rudely trampled o'er,
Bereaved, profaned, and soiled for evermore
With tread of vulgar feet?

7.

Is it worth while to love — though love find grace
In our belovèd's sight?
To bear a restless heart from place to place,
Hungry for sight of one transcendent face,
That shines our central sun in azure space,
Or leaves our world in night:

8.

And, after all, to gain no more than this
At such a life- long cost —
A taste, a glimpse, the memory of a kiss,
A speechless sense of what diviner bliss,
That might have been, we have contrived to miss —
To know what love has lost?

9.

Is it worth while — O sadder fate! — to heed
The solemn chime that knells
The death hour of an immemorial creed —
A staff of strength become a broken reed —
And never friendlier help in time of need,
Nor surer guide, foretells?

10.

To heed the spirit- voice that bids us take
A strange new road alone;
From gentle slumber and sweet dreams to wake,
And hear the mighty billows boom and break —
The thunder of immortal seas that shake
The earth's foundation- stone?

11.

Is it worth while, so far away as we,
To long, in hope and dread,
For the great unborn Age that is to be —
To pine for light that we shall never see —
To care what course man's life and destiny
May take when we are dead?

12.

Is it worth while to toil in doubt and fear,
Through thorny ways like these,
When they who turn blind eye and heedless ear
To change and portent, and who see nor hear
The pregnant storm that gathers far and near,
Dwell all their days at ease?

13.

To leave the Good whereof we are possest,
To search, in gloom and grief,
Through pathless trouble, for some unknown Best,
And see no goal, and find no place of rest —
Is it worth while, on such a fruitless quest
To waste a life so brief?

14.

Is it worth while to wear out heart and brain?
Ah me, what must be must!
The maddening Mystery cannot be made plain,
And they who seek to solve it seek in vain,
Yet can but seek, in sleepless hope and pain,
Till heart and brain are dust.

Voice Of The Noble

Let us heed to the voice of the noble
No matter however weak and feeble
Deserves to be carried all through the cable
Without keeping the message just on the table!

Voice of the noble cry for peace
Peace, multiplied peace all with ease
Curse of the world should surely cease
Look at the world as one and not in pliable piece!

Voice of peace is sure the soul of wisdom
Choice of the world is to reach God's kingdom
Where love and peace is bound to rule
Where faith and truth is every one's tool!

Voice of the noble seeks the world of peace
Noise of the wicked breeds the world of war
Peace indeed is the nature's choice
Peace indeed is the right man's voice!

Birds and trees sing for peace
Cruel and the wicked stink with strife.
The senseless inflicts war on nature
Least worried about grace of future
Nature revolts with quakes and storms
Millions suffer in pain and grief!

Let us heed to the voice of the noble
No matter however weak and feeble!

Time Clock

we all have a time clock ticking every moment
of every day.
until the last gasp of breath
which slowly slips away.

so while here on this earth
use every second that goes by.
for we pass through this world but once
no matter how we try.

we will be remembered by friends and family
for the goodness when we care.
for that is something that they'll always share.

when you share the joys and sorrows
the heartaches and the pain
the warmth and tenderness that you feel
for them is still the same.

open up your heart for all the world to see
that what you have locked up inside
has finally been set free.

enjoy life to the fullest
for there is no turning back
the time clock keeps on ticking
and does'nt ease up the slack.

Flowers Of Tomorrow

Forget unkind words and deeds
For life is a ground of weeds
Where you have to sow the seeds
Of happiness to get rid of weeds

With the weeds of pain and sorrow
And hope for the flowers for tomorrow
That will bloom evenin narrow
Path of joy to bring you tomorrow

A bright tomorrow where will shine
The sun of joy all for mine
That will spread the joy of wine
To bring joy to thee and mine.

After While. A Poem Of Faith

I THINK that though the clouds be dark,
That though the waves dash o'er the bark.
Yet after while the light will come,
And in calm waters safe at home
The bark will anchor.
Weep not, my sad-eyed, gray-robed maid.
Because your fairest blossoms fade,
That sorrow still o'erruns your cup,
And even though you root them up,
The weeds grow ranker.
For after while your tears shall cease,
And sorrow shall give way to peace;
The flowers shall bloom, the weeds shall die,
And in that faith seen, by and by
Thy woes shall perish.
Smile at old Fortune's adverse tide,
Smile when the scoffers sneer and chide.
Oh, not for you the gems that pale,
And not for you the flowers that fail;
Let this thought cherish:
That after while the clouds will part,
And then with joy the waiting heart
Shall feel the light come stealing in,
That drives away the cloud of sin
And breaks its power.
And you shall burst your chrysalis,
And wing away to realms of bliss,
Untrammelled, pure, divinely free,
Above all earth's anxiety
From that same hour.

Weeding

As busy Aurelia, 'twixt work and 'twixt play,
Was labouring industriously hard
To cull the vile weeds from the flowerets away,
Which grew in her father's court-yard;

In her juvenile anger, wherever she found,
She plucked, and she pulled, and she tore;
The poor passive sufferers bestrewed all the ground;
Not a weed of them all she forbore.

At length 'twas her chance on some nettles to light
(Things, till then, she had scarcely heard named);
The vulgar intruders called forth all her spite;
In a transport of rage she exclaimed,

'Shall briars so unsightly and worthless as those
Their great sprawling leaves thus presume
To mix with the pink, the jonquil, and the rose,
And take up a flower's sweet room?'

On the odious offenders enragëd she flew;
But she presently found to her cost
A tingling unlooked for, a pain that was new,
And rage was in agony lost.

To her father she hastily fled for relief,
And told him her pain and her smart;
With kindly caresses he soothëd her grief,
Then smiling he took the weed's part.

'The world, my Aurelia, this garden of ours
Resembles: too apt we're to deem
In the world's larger garden ourselves as the flowers,
And the poor but as weeds to esteem.

'But them if we rate, or with rudeness repel,
Though some will be passive enough,
From others who 're more independent 'tis well
If we meet not a stinging rebuff.'

Homerun

HOMERUN
From dark to light – one cry.
cot, tot, fine whine, youth tries
to rise, outshine, – strength vies
to test itself far, nigh,
will ever improvise,
wings spread ahead would fly
beyond the common sty.

Ends, means, some justify
as tools to fool, win prize
refusing to downsize
goals which new goals supply,
to grow, while enterprise
won’t sit, knit idly by
would flow to know, apply.

See sun at zenith high
where fair sweep cloudless skies,
fragility belies.
Self on self will rely
And thus we compromise
ourselves – each hour thereby
prepares grief leaf’s demise.

Men, weak “how, what, when, why”
seek to deny, despise
as limits while each eyes
ambitions run awry.
Most fail to realize
fame’s flame soon sinks, falls shy
of promise time can’t buy.

Stagnation by and by
sets in, transforms to ties
what once soared free, - denies
rights others seek would lie,
Inventing alibis
inverting truth stain, dye,
strain, pain, until sparks die.

Still time will onward fly!
Few care to recognize
sunset whet hopes defies, -
dare not, with rules comply, -
scope set cut down to size.
With humour grim and wry
Fate on each whim may spy.

Life’s voyage does imply
page after page time tries
to crop or circumsize -
each stage a wager sly
as cause, effect, in guise
of free choice voice deny
to unborn options! ... Why?

Tide turns, Time’s spring runs dry.
The candle burns. The wise,
the fool, fourscore, fade, - rise
no more, till final cry
whose sense none can disguise.
No echo, no reply...
from light to dark, sole sigh.

New Generation

Another day no peace in sight
A solution, far away
The military won the war
Certainly not for you and me
How many generations will it take
To cut the stream of blood
I hear voices that spin inside my head
It's your voice that counts so much
Here comes the young,
the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
The world looks kind of small from way up there
Through the window of our time
The shuttle broke into a million pieces
In the bluest sky
The world is spinning 'round way too fast
And New York City went all dark
There's a message that goes out tonight
From the bottom of my heart
Here comes the young, the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
Here comes the young, the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
Always hold on to your dreams
Because the world is not the same
The day your hope will die
Just carry on for you and me
'Cause it's the spark inside that flame
That gives your visions life
Here comes the young, the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
Here comes the young, the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
We are we are the new generation
We are the only ones
We are the only ones who can make a change

Sonnet XIV

IT may be for the world of weeds and tares
And dearth in Nature of sweet Beauty's rose
That oft as Fortune from ten thousand shows
One from the train of Love's true courtiers
Straightway on him who gazes, unawares,
Deep wonder seizes and swift trembling grows,
Reft by that sight of purpose and repose,
Hardly its weight his fainting breast upbears.
Then on the soul from some ancestral place
Floods back remembrance of its heavenly birth,
When, in the light of that serener sphere,
It saw ideal beauty face to face
That through the forms of this our meaner Earth
Shines with a beam less steadfast and less clear.
