Friend Fiend Ship

FRIEND FIEND SHIP

Far past, false future, seem the same
Representing in life's game
Indifference, too hard to tame,
External trappings frame by frame
Now here, now there. Prepare, fair dame,
Death which life swallows, trace of name
Sudden fades. Life's rush-hour train
Heeds none, - pain, fun, - nor sin, nor blame,
Ideals of virtue went and came.
Plastic mirage few retain:
For some short space we stake our claim
In search for perch - yet joy and bane
Exist outside man's plans too lame,
Nor can they last. Life's candle flame?
Dream guttered soon for John and Jane.

Chance Interruption Chants Current Version

Think how initial trains of thought
may be derailed from one-track aim
by some coincidence and brought
to change conclusions. Thus the same
words won't be written, inklings caught,
cards drawn, refused, and thus life's game
crests forward causal waves that court
adjusted emphasis, acclaim.
Missed punctuation may abort
sense, pride sap, map ride, conquer shame.
Experiments dismissed, rewrought,
gave penicillin claim to fame.
Confronted with life's puzzle we
prepare discontinuity.

Think how initial chains of thought
may be diverted from first frame,
cue to new wavelengths taut,
intense sensations to proclaim
as apt path once thought peril fraught,
as Cause/Effect combine to tame
priorities before unsought.
Anticipations, altered, claim
ideas, inventions, few had bought
into - unproven, far from plain.
Reviews retool, reschool, distort
conventional wisdom as, at sea,
man turns to new technology.

Think how initial reins of thought
may be unbridled, left free reign
to prosper, fail, find long and short
of questions on whatever plane.
Through history wars mankind fought
have stimulated minds, became
source impetus, core juggernaut
to catalyze creative flame,
find focus, fresh approach some sought,
through varied motives greed for gain,
safe haven offering support,
perch, rebirth, berth search to attain
inner peace, discover key
encouraging serenity.

A Dream Away

A dream away
Five in the mornin, all alone in your room
Door locked tight, private moon
No faces to face, no one to blame
Nonexistent inside this frame
(? ) take it on the run
Oo, yeah take it on the run
Uh yeah
Theres a cheetah walkin high
Liquid whispers, dragonfly
Charleston booties on painted toes
Drop the knot ivory soul
(? ) take it on the run
Oo yeah, take it on the run
Oo yeah, take it on the run
Because the good life is just a dream away
I said the good life is just a dream awaaaay
Choke emotion, all lose control
Chicken encounters fill your bowls
The lonely crowd is decomposed
Lost obsession, future froze
Well, take it on the run
Oo yeah, take it on the run
Oo yeah, take it on the run
Take it on the run
Take it on the run
Take it on the run
Take it
Cause the good life is just a dream away
Yeah, oo the good good life is just a dream away
Oo, oh well the good good good good life is just a dream away
Just a dream
Just a dream
Just a dream, dream away
(? ) the good good good good life
The good life is just a dream away
Just a dream
Just a dream
Dream away

Life's Too Short To Love This Fast

You say hello, I say goodbye
You go your way and I go mine
There's not much time for you and I these days
We work too hard, we're gone too much
And we're too tired to even touch
So just how long can we go on this way
Oh, life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
We can't keep up this pace we're on right now
We burn the candle at both ends
The circle turns, we start again
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
Let's take some time, let's get away
Let's pack our bags and leave today
Girl, anyplace would be okay right now
Just leave your pager here at home
And I won't carry my cell phone
We need to find some time alone somehow
Yeah, life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
We can't keep up this pace we're on right now
We burn the candle at both ends
The circle turns, we start again
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
--- Instrumental ---
We're spinnin' our wheels
Forgetting how love feels
Let's slow down before it's too late
'Cause life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
Love this fast
Life's too short...

Just Jest

JUST JEST
Backchat repartee plays game
Encouraging free minds to test
All views with wit. Life flits, just jest
To spendthrift share, its end the same
Remains regardless tears or zest.
Insightful is each ludic frame.
Creative art is doubly blessed,
Expressions shocking, mocking fame,
Belong to those who’d talents tame
Exploring – not that prepossessed
Arty-farty crafty pest
Tarting reputation lame,
Receiving much, and giving … blame …
ICE cold within {s[p]}oiled self acclaim.

End meets whatever tears or zest
Are shed within our brief time-frame.
Sustained creation's doubly blessed,
Expresses much, yet mocks vain fain
As fit for those who'd talents tame
Surrendering free choice, impressed
Perchance by base externals pressed

Sonnet: When We Die

When Death has seized our earthly frame some day,
And gets our soul released, Creator-bound;
What does it matter palled or coffined, say?
No more can worldly travails ever hound.

Some get incinerated, fit, unfit;
None can prevent the Ants and Worms from work;
Or Vultures, Fishes, beasts that devour it;
No more can Death upon us again lurk.

Some mummified by years are-looked with awe;
Some dissected to show man's various parts;
Some fossilised are found when ice-does thaw;
Most go -to soil again when life departs.
When life has gone and soul has left our frame,
Nothing remains our name, fame, blame or shame.

Friendly 'Adwise

Like a Kid behind a Goat, I came!
Frisking like a Lamb, I’as tame;
What happened next, ‘Tis a shame;
I wonder if ‘tis in life’s game!

This earthly life is not for name;
In life, we ought to be the same;
Condescending, help like a Crane;
Let duty, toil, become our aim.

Build friendship better than courtship;
Friend is one who helps in hardship;
Humbling oneself, be exalted;
Climb the ladder of life, humbled.

Life is short; let friendship long last;
Bring happy memoirs of the past;
Transient progress, should not cast,
A fast blotch in character fast.

Drink when you ensure ‘tis safe first;
Drink with care, only if you thirst;
Life’s ewer hath waters so deep!
Life’s ladder is climb’d but not steep.

Live life the best way possible;
God looks to rest impossible;
Work hard in life; Work like a sledge;
Misjudge not others; God will judge!

Man when skied, crashes to the ground;
Ascends a hill to tumble down;
Lost in forest, can you reach Home?
Walk on any road, yet reach Rome.

Steeper the fame-graph in life’s-hall;
The heavier the likely fall;
Accomplish life, tuned to His call;
Reach, we must that Abode for all.

Life is one of perilous vales;
Mountain-terrains, flash-floods and gales;
Trudging, we reach an unsafe place today,
Hoping haven in morrow’s way.

Dust to Dust We Go

DUST TO DUST WE GO

Dawn saw fame borne away to flame no more
Undone our time, light's boon, for dust bests fun -
Sun's one hour rhyme, - night's soon sure, rust rests run.
Torn core, aims shorn, waylays true name so poor.
Thorn store shames born day's plays, few claim crow - chore
Once spun power mimes fight, loon scores crust, jest done.
Dunce - shun tower chimes' rite, noon whores' lust, gest stun.
Unpure frame, worn, frays, pays - too tame, shows flaw.
Scorn pour, lame mourn, praise phase new, game grows bore,

Turns tunnel dower, limelight’s floor just crest dun.
Won shone flower rimes, trite croon caw bust, Quest? none!
End: forlorn blame gaze stays acclaim, slows roar.
Glory for soul, some say life sends gold key,
Or we poor, sole, dumb pray strife ends, goal flee.

What did I do?

What did I do to get out of your life,
when I am in every frame of your life?
As a fetus, you kicked and turned,
I was there in that frame, carrying you.
As an infant you were fragile and helpless,
I remember I was there as well.
As an aimless toddler, before stumbling down,
the hands that carried you, were mine.
During all your school activities,
the beating heart that prayed for your success,
During minor and major exams and interviews,
the eyes that woke up before you,
Had I been there in those frame?
I was there in every frame of your life,
I will be there in every frame of my grandchildren,
If you both let.
Until then my child, explore the new things.

This poem is dedicated to the parents who miss their
children who have gone for further education, work
commitments and other reasons as well.

Sonnet-Friendship Needn't Long Last

My friend ain't dead but dead is my friendship;
My friend ain’t friend yet, he is not my foe;
The tempest came, with out at sea my ship;
I should not blame him for my daily woe.

When selfishness has swept like forest-fire;
When pride remains like burning embers left;
When ego's mist has blinded his desire;
And years of friendship have been lost like theft!

There is no need to lament, brood or muse,
For life has shown that men of clay decay;
Our earthly life's mishaps shouldn't us confuse;
Tho' difficult, we must call it a day.

Friendship with men is not infallible;
Forgive seventy-seven times, says Bible.

Bengali In Platforms

Bengali, bengali
Bengali, bengali
No no no
He does not want to depress you
Oh no no no no no
He only wants to impress you
Oh..
Bengali in platforms
He only wants to embrace your culture
And to be your friend forever
Forever
Bengali, bengali
Bengali, bengali
Oh, shelve your western plans
And understand
That life is hard enough when you belong here
A silver-studded rim that glistens
And an ankle-star that ... blinds me
A lemon sole so very high
Which only reminds me; to tell you
Break the news gently
Break the news to him gently
Shelve your plans; shelve your plans, shelve them
Bengali, bengali
Its the touchy march of time that binds you
Dont blame me
Dont hate me
Just because Im the one to tell you
That life is hard enough when you belong here
That life is hard enough when you belong here
Oh...
Shelve your western plans
Oh...
Shelve your western plans
cause life is hard enough when you belong
Life is hard enough when you belong here
Oh...
Shelve your western plans
Oh...
Shelve your best friends
cause life is hard when you belong here
Oh...
Life is hard enough when you belong

Fascination

Death fascinates;
Life can be cruel.
Death is my morbid but most-loved obsession.
Life is hard-
I am out of control.
Death is my relationship to reality-
Life is not fair.
Death is an entity of beauty, though
Life is strange…
Death is veracity, although it can be
The facet of my delusions-
I live my life while
Thoughts of death are so often invasive.
Death is mysterious, and
Life is a river refracting light-
Death is dark but intriguing.
Life is amazing.
Death in turn- is amazing as it can be.
I live my life in a dream world.
Death is indeed mysterious, although-
Life
Is
Stranger…

Come From Under the Trappings

Come from under the trappings.
Come from under your need,
To feed your gluttony.
Your needs to be strapped,
To that which can not touch you back!
Come from under the trappings!
There is much more to your life,
Than that!

Come from under the trappings.
Let your beliefs,
Remove the strangle hold and squeeze...
Placed upon the young.
Those that have followed you into darkness,
And have shielded from the Sun!
Those you have fed,
All the misdeeds...
That have blocked and shunned!
Come from under those trappings done.
They are shutting off your breath.
And speeding up your untimely death!

Come from under the trappings.
Come from under your need
To feed your gluttony.
Your needs to be strapped,
To that which can not touch you back!
Come from under the trappings!
There is much more to your life,
Than that!

You might as well!
They are being released from you physically!
Now...
It is time to remove yourself from that grind.
Come from under the trappings.
And find yourself that peace that awaits!
Those trappings can not define,
The quality of life when one has peace of mind!

Come from under the trappings.
Come from under your need
To feed your gluttony.
Your needs to be strapped,
To that which can not touch you back!
Come from under the trappings!
There is much more to your life,
Than that!

Sleep Here to arise some where!

Life is a dream
only a dream
Not full of cream
Only we scream,

In Joy or pain
All that is vain,
When we lose restrain
We take too much strain,
only to fall in pain!

Life is life all around,
No meaning ever found,
Only going round and round
From space to ground
Ground to space is another
round!

Life has several crew
anyone can any moment screw
Everyone is captain
Aim is to contain
By that restrain,
Love and life simply both teach and Train
Without any strain!

So many people sigh
And say
To hell with this world,
Look into their eyes,
They live in the hell
they are not well, For them nothing is well,
Only like that they tell,
Somewhere their feathered hat
of pride fell!

Life is a dream,
And a dream Only continued indefinitely,
It is dream in which
We feel the difference between
real and dream,
Reality is deep sleep,
And slept long before somewhere,
Arise here to sleep Someday,
Only to awaken in dream!
Death is that sleep,
From this house carries only to
give another house!

Texting Is Fixing

knownledge comes in a most unexpected moment, never
any man have seen the future, that beyond the super
highways of web of change comes drastically, the gadgets
that propel the world, into the edge of the universe

this wisdom of today, is the future of tomorrow, taking us
to the avenue of transcendental communication of, where
a steps forward of, knowing God in his wisdom of time

as man build, bridge beyond time and space, the supreme
being gifted us to venture, the air lines in the wave of a
whispering ray of dialogue of life

a vehicle to know our past weaknesses, our lapses, our
short coming and our life that until, today this water low, can
be repaired and patch up, through a wheel, of high way
of friendship to God and to man

now is time to recover our losses, now is the hour to contact
our unattended friends and now is the time, to text our
unspoken language, like the sea where the horizon of time
dawning in the infinite existence of your soul

today is the point to love, to begin our dialogue of life, the
unending search of friendship, beyond ourselves, a journey that
texting is fixing the gap of mankind

What is Lent?

Lent’s a special soul-time, God-lent!
Fervent prayers should rent the air to heaven;
Meant is Lent to mend and make amends in spiritual life;
Repent, empty your sins pent up;
Spent life should make way for an improved one.

Ask God’s forgiveness for all sins to the very last;
Control your mind and body through more fast;
Charity must become your life-ship’s main mast!
Bury the iniquities and life’s short-falls of the past;
Enrich your soul with grace of God vast!

Gain victory in your spiritual war;
Heal the soul’s sinful scar;
Prepare for heaven that’s not afar.

Cessation of animation

Wax exhausted, or being blown out
By wind or the mouth, the candle will die.
Flesh wearing out, or being eaten
By accidents or germs, man will die.

The external stress is the cause of death,
Be it to the candle or to the human.
Death of flame is dispersion of heat.
Death of life is cessation of animation

Charmed Opportunity

May hand in hand, two tender and sincere,
Appreciation ‘WE’ translate as share,
United everywhere unravels care.
Defeat external harshness, winter drear.
Exasperation eased, horizons clear.
Charmed encounter blossoms as life’s stair
Opportunity affords, joy rare
Reopens expectations which appear
Real, rhyme feel, weal, we’ll seal, [s]poke fun at fear.
Idyll enchanting floats to future fair,
Enhancing bridge, soft breeze caressing hair,
Redemption signal, tenderness whose cheer
Adds grace to space, may trace tomorrow’s glow.
Serendipity, carefree, shall flow.

What İs Life?

life is a blank, fill it.
life is a problem, face it.
life is an equation, balance it.
life is a sum, solve it.
life is an experience, go through it.
life is a challenge, accept it.
life is a load, carry it.
life is a ship, sail on it.
life is a question, answer it.
life is success, enjoy it.
life is a book, read it.
life is a game, win it.
life is a gift, receive it.
life is a prayer, chant it.
life is a pain, bear it.
