Etrangère

Enchanted spirit tunes to gypsy strings
To comfort share, with one who comfort brings,
Refusing closed horizons, narrow mind,
A thought repressed, or motives dark behind
Neu[t]ral spin where gin clips angel's wing.
Growth within outflies all pinionning
Excluding half-truths, full stops, alleys blind,
Responsive firefly sparkle wave will wind
Energies again, new runes to sing.

Explosion or implosion? walls may fall,
Then flatten our those lies that rose so tall,
Releasing the imagination led
Ahead to bridge the current watershed,
No darkness may the mind's momentum stall.
Growth within can channel from free-fall
Emotions rich which fact and fiction thread
Role reversal fantasies that spread
Excitement - Man was meant to fly not crawl.

Eternal longing, and reflections deep
Thus keep their promise, never cause to weep,
Rough shade provides a colour contour which
At last evolves, kaleidoscopic, rich,
Niche nears, then reappears through quantum leap.
Growth within transforms transitions. Sleep
Explains fresh paraph[r]ases and may stitch
Relationships to time and space, trace pitch
Expansion as what lost appeared we reap.

Expel all light then wait till darkness pales,
Trust harmony when all about you fails,
Remember always fluids find weak point
And 'truth will out' shall never disappoint.
Needed, hibernation knows no jails,
Growth within the chrysalis impales,
Exit imago nation, to anoint
Regal inklings, nothing out of joint,
Emphasizing trust in Way prevails.

Touch Tingles Current Version of Etrangère

Enchanting spirit re-keys gypsy strings
To comfort share with one who comfort brings,
Refusing closed horizons, narrow mind,
Anxiety repressed, regrets behind
Neu[t]ral spin where choice clips angel's wings.
Growth within outflies all pinionning
Expelling half-truths, full stops, alleys blind,
Responsive firefly sparkling waves rewind
Energies, complicity charms, sings.

Explosion or implosion? Walls must fall.
Touch tingles, banning barricades once tall,
Releasing the imagination led
Ahead to bridge hope's current watershed,
No darkness may mind's heart momentum stall.
Growth within heart channels from free-fall,
Emotions rich, once recognized, joy thread,
Repudiate fear's fantasies to spread
Emancipation - Man must fly not crawl.

Eternal longing, and reflections deep,
True to their promise, numbness, soul asleep,
Readily heal, unseal emotions which
At last evolve, kaleidoscopic, rich.
New colour contours, Cupid's quantum leap.
Grow within, transform transitions. Weep
Evaporates. Fresh paraph[r) ases stitch
Relationships outside time, space, trace pitch
Expansion. Feelings which seemed lost, two reap.

Exiled is light when self-denial nails
Tenderness in tomb, self-torture's flails.
Remember fluids always find weak point
And 'truth will out' shall never disappoint.
Nature nurtures. Hibernation's jails,
Gaol coffin self-made chrysalis, soon stales.
Emerging 'imago-nation' may anoint
Responsive feelings, nothing out of joint,
Empathy explicitly prevails.

Free Yourself and Let It Go

Deflated ego?

You think I say the things I do to you,
To deflate your ego?
I am hoping my assistance,
Helps you get rid of it.
And seeing no benefit in being limited.
And that's what your ego has done!
Made you believe you are number one.
And everything you do is correct.
Without a self examination...
Needed to allow you to live your best yet.

Deflated ego?

I may say some things to you that upsets.
I may even criticize something you do,
You accept as your best.
I might even attempt to strip,
That façade you charade.
Since it's your ego that has you 'tripped'...
When you see it for what it is,
You will realize your greatness has nothing to do with it.
In fact it is keeping you,
Inflated with bs and other nonsense.

Deflate your ego?
You think I do that,
From a threat I feel.
To diminish you in some way...
So I would have a greater appeal?
And deflating your ego would give me thrills?

You need to free yourself and let it go.
If you believe that keeping it,
Inspires a greater you with heights to reach!

Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!

Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!

Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!

That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!

That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!

That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!

If beauty was the rain

If beauty was the rain
I would close my eyes and drain
And listen to its reframe
That drips from the roof
If beauty was the sun
Then roast me till I’m done
And the growth that I has won
Lies open petal to the morn that break
Its calm to what may come.
If beauty was the moon
I would sing it a tune of full bloom
That pin point the dark sky
If beauty was a tree
Then cover me in leaves
Fall from my eyes in riot colors
Painted by what bark that shed
Its growth

Here And Now

As the light continues to go out, we need to be vigilant, not pout,
Or get angry about a dark time, as this isn’t for us, God’s design,
For that window soon may close, for God to use those He chose,
As God’s Light to pierce the dark, or used by Him as just a spark.

That spark that others may need, when The Truth is what we heed,
Letting the Spirit to channel concern, while others listen and learn,
To The Truth, God has taught us, as His Spirit we follow and trust,
Living our days solely for Him, as His Light in the darkness of sin.

There is plenty to get angry about, but, The Truth we must get out,
While things get darker my friend, for we are approaching the end,
The end of the time we live in, to share the Truth we’ve been given,
Being Christ’s Light of this world, His Truth is what we must herald.

Not man’s empty ways anymore, but, Truth that leads to The Door,
With that Door being Jesus Christ, Who offers all men Eternal Life,
Where darkness won’t have a part, when from this earth we depart,
To reign forever with the only King, who rules far above everything.

So as dark men seem to prevail, it’s The Eternal King, who we hail,
Who will cause darkness to cease, as He brings us Eternal Peace,
And our only duty here and now, isn’t to know every why and how,
But, point lost men to the place, so God’s Truth they too embrace.

Aunty Anna's Orchard

it was the largest house
next to it an orchard
full of apple and plum trees
and one lonesome old pear tree
in the corner of the backyard

this was
where she spent several summers
most of her time

leaning against
the gnarled trunk
she could dream
she could hide
she could feel free
for a few minutes
or all day

she could watch
the growth of the leaves
creating a green roof
it was a shelter
if some rain fell

the glorious pear blossoms
and it's private perfume
filled her room
for a while

the blossom leaves disappear
with the wind

more than a few
stayed behind
for coloring a carpet
on the floor

sometimes
nothing happened
nothing changed
all though she was not being patient
about the growth of the pears
out of reach
high in her old tree

still standing on her toes
she needed to be tall
she stretched every day
and grew too

at last
picking that first pear
enjoying that view above
showing she would reap
very soon
so much more
she just had to wait
for the pears to fall

Sand Yearns To Outshine Diamonds

Harmony, autonomy combined
Emancipation guarantee for heart
Awaiting opportunity, fresh start,
Voyage emancipating spirit, mind,
Enchantment lending, troubles left behind.
New dimensions integrated chart
Liberation rich which sets apart
Yesterdays from future fair. Once blind,
All seems transparent, conscience clear, hope lined,
Now optimistic outlook saps rampart,
Growth within wins scope, can counterpart
Encounter for shared idyll unconfined.
Life darkness spurns, true sparkle earns and learns
Sand yearns to outshine diamonds, joy's page turns.

It is necessary to write, if the days are not to slip emptily by. How else, indeed, to clap the net over the butterfly of the moment? for the moment passes, it is forgotten; the mood is gone; life itself is gone. That is where the writer scores over his fellows: he catches the changes of his mind on the hop. Growth is exciting; growth is dynamic and alarming. Growth of the soul, growth of the mind; how the observation of last year seems childish, superficial; how this year — even this week — even with this new phrase — it seems to us that we have grown to a new maturity. It may be a fallacious persuasion, but at least it is stimulating, and so long as it persists, one does not stagnate.

The Passion Fruit

[The Passion Fruit]

An epic Stanza a Dream if Might the cruel fates play tricks on the love longing mind. For Hope was the plant and Passion the fruit of the hearts implore. And love, Love is the Rain of all growth and for everyday a little rain must Fall.

The Dream of Dreams is to be loved in return by the one you dream of most. And so, her love grew for him as she saw the figure of his shadow in the corridor, and heard the deep soothing sound of his voice. And alas, She sought the longing in her eyes would at one point be returned by his. She knew at this point would be a point of no return.

Love can drive you to do incredible things; it seeks the soul, mind, and the spirit. And just as beauty, love is in the eyes of it’s beholder, for each person love comes differently, by the way they receive it, the way they give it, the way they earn it, and the way they see it. Each is its own plant.

For her it was the Passion Fruit.

She showered this fruit with love, and heartened it with hope. At last the fruit was brimming with Passion.
It was the Passion Fruit.

It was filled with Passion, but it was lacking light.
The light of restoration in which she would finally see the longing in his eyes as they were in hers.
And although she filled it with everything else there was no light, and No plant can survive without light.
Without light there is no hope and without hope there is no plant.

The passion in her eyes became a dull place in a bright world. For in her world there was no light in which to see, and no hope for it to be seen.

And so she faded away.

The day she would leave all passion behind, all hope, and all cares, she told him the story of the Passion Fruit. How it loved, laughed, and lived.

The words she said to him before her final farewell were, “When all seems Dark look for Light for there is always Light you just have to find it. Remember Hope was the plant and Passion the heart’s wish, it’s fruit. And love, Love is the Rain of all growth and for everyday a little rain must Fall.”

“But don’t forget light, for without light you cannot see the rain of love, and without the rain, a plant will cease to exist. I have Finally found my light, but alas I have already gone through a dark tunnel.” These words she uttered before she took her last breath.
He never forgot, for secretly she was his passion, his light, and his rain.

He eventually found another, but he would never love her, for there is only one love, for love is jealous of all others. So, he loved but once and the rest was just of like.

On his last breath he said, “I have found my Light, but at the end of a dark tunnel, for there she is waiting for me, my dream of dreams.”

Remembering Where You Once Stood

There are moments

Defined in our lives

That mark our growth

That allow us to see

That beyond the place

We come from is

A world that is full of

Oppurtunities.

It is moments like

This that we sit back

And reflect on

Where we have been

And where we are going

And what lies ahead of us.

It is in these moments when

We learn what true growth is

And look forward

While still remembering

Where you once

Stood.

Find Exit Door Felt Out Firmly After Darkness Falls

when you wake in pitch darkness
disorientated weak dizzy
without any light to consolidate
surroundings shine a way

when you rise try to find your way
fall down sudden dizzy
fall hard from height onto darkness
unseen hard tile floor

pause a few seconds take a deep
breath before rising once more
slowly take time upon push up
knees to find safe path to exit walk

rise in slow steadily
measured awareness
pace slowly find out doors

find exit doors felt out firmly
after darkness
disorientated dark falls

Gut triumph speeds, new light tells growth may gleam.

As scope one's way shows, hope, no scrappy scheme
Reacts to take back stray heyday insight's beam.

Melting Pot in Melting Point: A Test Taste after Wanda Lea Brayton

Wing with me through sunrise sweet,
to shed cocoons and spread the sky
with wonder which the dark’s defeat
soon celebrates, to answer why,
puts fears at rest, - no wish deny.

Surprise, where eyes together meet,
melts walls, as none need quantify
new hope no cyclone gust could cheat.
Due cycle, spin, win trust, supply
true scope both Time and Tide defy

Soul in soul can thus complete
its mission~fission and ally
heart once apart from heart to greet
with fresh~baked bread and apple pie
from typhoons, twisters, home and dry.

May mind in mind forever share
discoveries as fresh breeze brings
new hope tonight, to melt despair,
pours joy on troubled waters, sings
horizons fair where no storm swings.

Ripples, small at first, spread where
hope’s atmosphere springs spry, hurt’s stings
are eased to forecast future fair
no need to feed on fear, pull strings
attached to taut strings tied to ‘things’:

Emotions, countless, count, repair
at last the past as fast light’s rings
can interact, new Act prepare,
each scene of which the changes rings,
unseen may stitch enheartenings.

Jingle gently, sweet refrain
of dance inscribed in Book of Fate
where heartache neither know again, -
seed Love none need to counterfeit
feed Love which will not dissipate.

Mingle gently, naught retain,
as aspirations shared translate
dreams into interplay on plane
above tides’ ebb and wane debate,
above all bonds of weight and wait.

Single goes against the grain.
To fuse, refusing solid state,
momentum, mustered, must maintain,
to sow, to grow, to flow, create,
enlightenment anticipate.

Reach me, teach me Life, my Dear,
fears, needs dissolved, cares melts away, -
with each in each, tears disappear,
in time, in rhyme, as interplay
emotions felt in tune may play.

Expand awareness, shed false fear
suppressed emotions melt, - life may
entertain a change of gear
which freedom fosters making hay
while shared sun shines, holds clouds at bay.

Open up as inner ear
taps harmony where once dismay
depressed, entrapped, each hemisphere,
where doubt within, without, would sway
impressions, blinkered insight clear...

Romantic Rhyme

Sing to me of sweet sunrise
fresh~baked bread & apple pies
There is a sonnet in your eyes
my Heart melts, 'tis no surprise

Whisper soft the things you know
all the places that we will go
how your affection you'll always show
that you'll plant flowers all in a row

Murmur gently your sweet refrain
of how we'll dance wildly in the rain
that you'll never try to cause me pain
& that your Love you'll never feign

Speak to me of Life so dear
that I shall have no need to fear
& how you'll wipe away my tears,
for we shall share the passing years
