Doors of Perception
The doors of perception of heaven and hell
should always stay slightly ajar,
nine lives need we not to distill truth whose bell
can clearly be heard from afar.
The doors of perception, of second-sight, close
before who would tolerance bar,
but whatever beliefs one looks into, each shows
awareness that life’s on a par
with the spring of the salmon as upstream they swell
though ‘retour à la source’ scales can scar.
Successful soul’s progress sheds superfluous shell
as earthworm evolves into star.

Beliefs Forever Tricked
Marketing a perception,
Is only as good as the result.
If an anticipated result is achieved,
A perception fed can be said to be successful.
Hopefully the perception sold,
Does not become intercepted by the reality.
A clash with reality could leave some minds whacked.
To become entrapped with beliefs forever tricked to enslave.

My Door Is A Lamp
One day You ask: What are you up to?
- I work for lattices
And concoct doors for lamps.
The door to heaven will be split,
My doors shall turn into gates
Encircling my heaven of Old.
Radiation picks up from Hell,
Heaven closes its gates,
And my doors open and shut
To let Me only enter
My heaven and Paradise.

Packt Like Sardines In A Crushd Tin Box
there are bomb? doors and there are revolving doors doors on the rudders of big ships and there are revolving doors there are doors that open by themselves there are sliding doors and there are secret doors there are doors that lock and doors that don't there are doors that let you in and out but never open but there are trap doors that you can't come back from

Pull / Pulk Revolving Doors
There are barn doors
And there are revolving doors
Doors on the rudders of big ships
And there are revolving doors
There are doors that open by themselves
There are sliding doors
And there are secret doors
There are doors that lock
And doors that dont
There are doors that let you in
And out
But never open
But there are trapdoors
That you cant come back from

Doors will open
Doors will shut, open and close
I ask of you not to cry
While your troubles stir and fry
I ask of you not to sigh
Write this down with a pen
I cannot say when
Nevertheless, doors will open
Find those loose ends and tie them with a knot
Make some effort
Do not listen to any buts
You are the main decider
The one and only jockey rider
Of your own track events
Try to be patient
Not all rewards are heaven sent
So write this down with a pen
I cannot say when
Nevertheless, doors will open
Believe in yourself
Set out your goals
Think about yesterday, today and tomorrow
Keep walking even if hit by blows
Sometimes progress itself is slow
Yet, when it strikes you out of the blue
You will realise that it is indeed true
Doors will open!

Twenty-One
A Birthday cake for you,
A Slice of Chocolate Heaven,
It may be too sweet for you,
That's why it's a fake one.
Today you get your keys
Can open many doors,
Watch out for cheeky monkeys,
That hide behind the doors.
Sometimes you get donkeys,
You better slam the doors!
If it is a wolly wookie,
Dash quickly out the doors!
If it turns out Chucky,
You better lock the doors!
I hope that you are lucky,
Waiting behind the doors,
If that is your destiny,
He will find you and be yours.
Happy Birthday Dear!
The musician - if he be a good one - finds his own perception prompted by the poet's perception, and he translates the expression of that perception from the terms of poetry into the terms of music.

Through the doors of perception Down the corridors of uncertainty Into the room of self doubt Opens the window of opportunity.
Octavio 3
'We pursue modernity
in her incessant metamorphoses
yet we never manage to trap her.
She always escapes:
each encounter ends in flight.
We embrace her and
she disappears
immediately:
it was just a little air.
It is the instant,
that bird that is everywhere
and nowhere.
We want to trap it alive
but it flaps its wings
and vanishes
in the form of a handful
of syllables.
We are left empty-handed.
Then the doors of perception open slightly
and the other time appears,
the real one we were searching for
without knowing it:
the present,
the presence.'

A Change in Thinking
I'm alive and finally clear
About the reason I am here.
It was something that I longed for through the years.
Many times I wondered why
That at night sometimes I'd cry.
It was cleansing out my body through my tears.
I was happy with my life
As a mother and a wife.
But, still was living with the same old fears.
I knew something was missing.
My brain kept on insisting
To change my perception of how the world appears.
And then I started healing
And changed how I was feeling.
It opened all the doors to new frontiers.
I'm feeling so at peace now
In finding out that somehow
That tolerance for all is what endears.

Declining Comprehensions
Void of perception...
An introspection,
Some don't understand.
Many are inflicted with mind limits.
With no benefits...
To assist this supply,
That has gotten out of hand.
Face to face with truth,
Is useless without eye contact.
Saying something as fact...
Can not be backed up by heresay!
Yet
It happens
But it shouldn't!
Yet it does and can offer,
Considerations for conflict.
This is the kind of sick that is unaware,
Of it existing.
No one explores a better way.
Than the shutting down of borders,
And the closing of cracked doors!
Leaving everything to be driven,
Down the drain!
With claims of no one listening!
With an opened ear.
And everyone seems to fear,
Not being competitive in displaying more anger!
As we take seditives for this and that,
Just to keep ourselves...
Acceptably pretentious.
We do this consciously!
And self-righteously,
Standing in the path of others.
Those who beg for wanting less,
Than they already have!
Void of perception...
And how this rejection,
Stunts our very growth!
No matter who has been taught,
To pass judgements...
Based on declining comprehensions!
Every scene of this memoir,
In this age of reversing progress
Withessed,
And written about these times...
Will reveal detail upon detail,
A fast lip flipping delivery given.
A show of classic ignorance paraded,
With dignity and pride attached!
And masses attacked...
For disapproving this movement!

Two Doors Down
Chorus:
Two doors down
Theyre laughing and drinkin, and having a party
Two doors down
Theyre not aware that Im around
Cause here I am
Crying my heart out, feelin sorry while
Theyre having a party two doors down
I think Ill dry these useless tears
And get myself together
I think Ill wonder down the hall
And have a look around
cause I cant stay inside
This lonely room and cry forever
I think I really rather join em
Two door down, yeah
Repeat chorus
cause here I am
No longer cryin an feelin sorry
Were having a party just two doors down
I cant believe Im standin here
Dry-eyed, all smiles and talkin
Making conversation with the new love I have found
I ask him if hed like to be alone and we start walkin
Down the hall to my place waitin two doors down, yeah
Repeat chorus
cause here I am
Feelin everything but sorry
Were having our own party two doors down
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Two doors down
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Two doors down
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Two doors down
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Two doors down, oh
Repeat chorus
cause here we am
Feelin everything but sorry
Were havin our own party
Two doors down, yeah
Fade:
Repeat chorus

The Latest One Looks Better
I read to my son a story
I heard read when I was a child.
I read it to my grandson
Each time my perception grew.
I visited the Taj Mahal
As a child, an adult and
An old one and each time
My perception got better view.
She was my teenage girlfriend.
I met her as a young mother
And later as a grand mother.
My perception underwent changes.
Partly my accumulated knowledge
And partly the impact on them
Of time and space are the causes.
The latest beat the formers..

Perception
Trust and faith
in what I believe
comes to me
through all I perceive.
If I perceive myself
as free,
then that is what
I always will be.
If I perceive
that everything's fine,
then my perception
is a grand design
that takes me above
the chaos and fear.
It becomes nothing
to which I adhere.
If I perceive
that I'm in control,
then my perception is
a midnight's stroll
that leads me to find
great peace within.
It completes the perception
my vision lets in.
