Détente

Do nothing, just relax, compulsion free.
Everything seems simple as the mind
Throws tribulations, troubles, trials, behind,
Enjoys the moment spent, content 'to be'.
Need leads to greed beads, feeds society,
Thus outward show no inner flow knows. Signed
Elegy for well-being's underlined
Denying rights to jungle creeds that see
Exhaltation when life's daily grind
Treads on others, egocentricity
Excuse for 'counter_wait' humanity,
No space retained to gain détente, unwind.
To find oneself one leaves self on the shelf:
Endless peace, release, spurn man's urned wealth.

Enhancing Peace Releases Inner Wealth

Decelerate, compulsion free.
Everything simplified. Mind
Tosses tribulations behind,
Eliminates impurity.
Needs feed greed beads senselessly.
Tap inner energy re-assigned.
Enlightenment, when underlined,
Denigrates inhumanity
Exemplified by daily grind.
Temper egocentricity,
Encouraging transparency,
New evolution helps unwind.
Transforming self, leave self on shelf:
Enhancing peace releases inner wealth.

Détente

We...
You and I.
Have come to see,
Eye to eye.
Cleared are the clouds,
From misunderstandings allowed.
Détente did not come easy.
No sullen breeze,
Was this with it...
When that came!

We...
You and I,
Have come to see,
A shame we both came to claim,
To disperse and dispel...
The hell that kept us blinded!
In mindsets now left behind.

We...
You and I,
Know this détente,
Brings goodwill!
We share to give,
And this does us well.
To feel it be fulfilled
To grow and explore...
Together,
This life we live!
Letting a détente,
To flow between us as it is!
And free us of negative,
Stagnating ills that kill.

Too Connected To Humanity

Too connected to humanity,
To feel completely free.
Although I am committed,
To have my own peace of mind...
I still find I am happiest,
When near and close to those I love.

Too connected I am to those I care about.
Even those I see on a daily basis I don't know...
I give and show respect I don't in return get.
And yet,
I am not expecting it...
In wishes it to be given.

Too connected to humanity and accepting it.
With each moment lived to express gratefulness.
And to do that with the acknowledgement,
I can only be free to observe and learn.
Not be isolated with a freedom earned...
Yet to become upset,
Since my senses are not satisfied by my yearning...
To be held and touched.

A Quiet Mind

When all is done and said,
In the end thus shall you find,
He most of all doth bathe in bliss
That hath a quiet mind:
And, clear from worldly cares,
To deem can be content,
The sweetest time in all his life
In thinking to be spent.

The body subject is
To fickle Fortune's power,
And to a million of mishaps
Is casual every hour;
And death in time doth change
It to a clod of clay;
Whereas the mind, which is divine,
Runs never to decay.

Companion none is like
Unto the mind alone;
For many have been harmed by speech,
Through thinking few or none.
Fear oftentimes restraineth words,
But makes not thought to cease;
And he speaks best, that hath the skill
When for to hold his peace.

Our wealth leaves us at death;
Our kinsmen at the grave;
But virtues of the mind unto
The heavens with us we have.
Wherefore, for virtue's sake,
I can be well content,
The sweetest time in all my life
To deem in thinking spent.

Free Your Mind

Elevated, I feel elevated
I feel the love inside
I dont want to hide
Communication - is our destination
Be what you wanna be
Let the music set you free (x3)
Life is the key, what you want it to be
Release your mind
Release your mind
Open yourself to the universal truth
Free your mind
Free your mind
I close my eyes and I realise,
Something deep inside
Makes me feel alive
I seek to find, a better state of mind
Im gonna live my life
Im reaching for the sky (x3)
Life is the key, what you want it to be
Release your mind

To Be Happy

To be happy
Is to be happy with oneself.
To be happy
Is to be free with your thoughts and aspirations.
To be happy with oneself
Is to have that inner peace of mind acceptable to change,
Being able to play your part in life's forever changing game.
To be sad with life
Is to be discourage with life.
Do not be discouraged
Be encouraged
To have no cares no worries.
So be happy

Which leaves change colors everyday.
Find your color and grow your tree

As Troubles Brew

With so much about us happening, so many hearts cease to sing,
This as the many troubles brew, causing effect upon me and you,
Causing that song, within one’s heart, for a brief period to depart,
As those troubles seem to grow, and turn their joy toward sorrow.

But as troubles begin to mount, we have blessings we can count,
God’s Blessings that forever last, long after all our trials are past,
And in all trials there is reward, as believers are used by our Lord,
To be for God a shining light, as we’re sustained by God’s Might.

We acquire strength from Christ, while we live out our present life,
Through His Spirit Who lives within, to help us in this world of sin,
And Christ gives to us His peace, that in all trials does not cease,
Looking unto our Blessed Hope, Christ helps us in our trials cope.

Though the trials we may despise, upon our Lord we fix our eyes,
For He is the Author of our life, able to assist us through all strife,
Those trials He warned us of, before ascending to Heaven above,
Where He now intercedes for us, after, in Christ we place our trust.

Even when things in life go wrong, our Lord God gives us a song,
Providing blessings every day, when life’s trouble comes our way,
Strength and peace, God will provide, when in Christ we do abide,
And life’s trying times we rise above, guided by our Savior’s Love.

Im Afraid

Afraid of the dark
Afraid of the light
Dont walk in the park
Afraid of the night
Afraid to get stabbed
Or hit by a car
Afraid of the streets
Afraid to go far
Afraid of the sky
Dont like to be high
I dont want to fall
Afraid I might die
Afraid of my friends
Dont like to be seen
Afraid to be nice
Afraid to be mean
Afraid that the wind
Will knock over trees
Afraid of my dog
Afraid of his fleas
[chorus]
Peace of mind
Hard to keep
Hard to find
Look ahead
Look behind
Looking for
Peace of mind
Cant relax
Cant unwind
Deep inside
Secret mind
Oh no!
Afraid to be caught
Afraid to be free
Afraid to make love
Afraid of vd
Afraid of the rain
Dont like to get wet
Afraid to take drugs
They make me forget
Afraid that the air
Will make me get sick
Afraid that a girl
Will cut off my....oh!
Someone tell me how it happened
Why my head is so confused
Can it be my circuits finally blew a fuse
Can a human being really change into a humanoid
Or is my imagination paranoid
All I need is peace and quiet, maybe just a little time
Turn the channel, turn the channel piece of mind
[repeat chorus]
Afraid of success
Afraid to grow old
Afraid that my brain
Is covered with mold
Afraid that I might
Ce put on a shelf
But thats not the least, oh, oh!
Afraid of myself

Human being

Human being a prisoner of inhibition
Simply excused under the cover of prohibition
To relieve tension and worry and claim silly excuse
What else can be shining example than to refuse?

May prove good starter with the refusal by tribal
All our religious books favor ban on it including Bibles
Can that become a reality if life to lead life with ease?
Surely the Sun has reason to smile with peace

Prosperity may find its way all around
The financial condition may look very sound
No compulsion to beat any one under pretext
Life can be spent with happiness and its best

You can think of leading a purposeful life
A life helpful to others without any strife
To show the way to others and be lead
The message can be understood and clearly read

The Daily Act of Presence

Eight hours at work, commuting sometimes two,
the daily act of presence is assigned
its p[l]ace, weak celebration paid in kind,
traced race to waste bereft, much left to do.

Eight hours abed, at table almost two,
the daily act of presence, daily grind,
few dare opt out of as life's clocks unwind, -
such haste to conquer Time, whose ride’s askew.

Three hours of leisure, then, without ado,
day's drive departs, leaves most deprived of breath.
Who'd buck luck's trend bends in the end to Death
whose lock mocks motto 'to thyself be true! '

Three hours for chat, sex, net or television,
no wonder Man’s case-study for derision.

Double Bind

The book of Life too soon is signed
away, as to eternity
all vain pretentions are resigned,
few dare discover secret key
unlocking cipher which behind
the letters here or there that we
may string together – for mankind
has other claims, priority.

For Cause, Effect, in double bind
united are – and who’d be free
from one the other meets behind
the veil through which few mortals see.
Complexity’s thus intertwined
with what appears simplicity -
yet some solutions groomed may bind
to tomb the doomed had thought to flee.

No culture code or time-line twined
with cant restraints can ever be
maintained for long, life’s dice remind
contentment knows no prepaid fee,
no cash-and-carry cheque combined
with D.N.A. for passage free
accorded some, - the rest, resigned,
monopolizing misery.

There is no fate which, pre-defined,
MUST circumscribe life’s destiny,
or cheese for some, for others rind
to gnaw while stretching sanity
beyond the limits humankind
should tolerate, while vanity -
inanity – must soon unwind
its substance rotting on life’s tree.

When I was born I woke to find
a world in bloom, but lived to see
the flowers fade. Death came, unkind.
May joys not jade, nor love, for thee.
Beyond Time’s dark, incessant, grind,
find ways with creativity
to soar, explore, - scope redesigned -
rejecting blind conformity.

The moral here is underlined: -
play for the day, meet what will be
with open heart and open mind, -
sufficient flexibility,
to see Chance is not undermined,
that every opportunity
may lead beyond bare alley blind
towards serenity.

Heaven

Im longing for some space
Im longing for the place
Im longing for the days,
Where you start listening to me
Sometimes I cry
Sometimes I hide
Sometimes I buy a holiday
In seven heavenly skies
You think youre free
But the breed has got you
You think youre free
But the need has got you
You think you need the breed of greed,
You rule my world
With the breed thats got you
Chorus:
Heaven is a place I long to go
Has a face when I see you
Is a hell in seven skies
Tell me truth not holy lies
Show me the world of peace
Show me what I cant see
Show me that place and face your
Breed of greed
My mind is shaded blue,
I dont know what to do,
Shall I just leave or is there
Anything left to do
You think youre free
But the breed has got you
You think youre free
But the need has got you
You think you need the breed of greed,
You rule my world
With the breed thats got you

FOCUS

Season seeds another season’s seeds
Until all seasons cease with Time’s decease.
Reason reads another reason’s redes -
Understanding seldom sees increase.
Needs release still greater needs, each feeds
Non obstat on each other, ne’er at peace
Unless breeze ripples rush to stir the reeds
As when the pregnant cloudbanks grey release
Gaudy Iris, water-weighed, which leads
Everything to infinite release.
Garner feelings, disregarding creeds,
Retain true focus for fair golden fleece
Is found within heart's harmony which heeds
Simplicity, not ink lined frontispiece!

In Protective Custody

In a world of decay,
And accepted decadence.
One almost 'has' to be vicious,
To keep an earned peace of mind...
In protective custody.

It becomes increasingly difficult,
To maintain an addiction free existence.
Especially when one's own trials and tribulations,
Have been faced to confront obstacles...
That do not run in opposite directions.

Dig

Here a sight for sore eyes lay Lust in compromise with Harmony upon the shelf.
Find a place without yourself where you may lay forever young. Delve.
Pursue magick within the moulting cage as it lies shelved in derangement
Amongst the insane, those laid out upon the pavement strumming soft melodies sweet aloft
In vibrations changing out of place. Remedies fix on inhibitions, here the Shamans mix
Lifts the soul upon the drift to flow beyond the rift. Here Time upon the shelf lies
Content within herself, Content in inner space, allowing a shift in the passage of the wheels
Eternal massage of nature’s skin. Dig. Let me in.

What strange a friend is this that would act a fiend in spite of bliss.
What dangers lie upon the horizon we may never know, I'd rather miss.
The river stagnant requires a place to flow. I know this.

Let It Flow

Another wave has arrived
Being funk is so surprise
Welcome the world of xtc
When the funk takes over me
No need to try to run away
The funk will find you the mail today
Its best if you relax your soul
Grab someone, take the floor, let it go
Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow(whatd you say)
Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow(in your heart and in your vein)
Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow(free your mind)
Did you ever make it stop?
Feel it groovin hard within
Body is shakin and heads in sea
Why would anyone dare to deny it
Funk is fine, dont try to fight it
The funk is the epitome
Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow(whatd you say)
Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow(in your heart and in your vein)
Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow(free your mind)
Did you ever make it stop?
Dont you part with it
I devoured it
You can work with it
You can part with it
Satisfaction guaranteed
Giveem folks what they need
What you need is indeed
A little funk from ev
Now hit me
Sounds so funky, youd agree
Funky divas in 3-d
Let if flow
Did you ever make it stop?

The Wonder Of It All

In the time it takes for us to blink our eyes
somebody is born and someone else dies.
The way of the world is through life and death
all that exists is nourished by food and breath.

In just a fleeting moment so much goes on
it’s a wonder for our mind to reflect upon.
Yet all that ever happens has a beginning and end
in the vastness of time and space it has to contend.

What is life about and our purpose on this world here?
Is it not to grow and expand, to realise something dear?
We all have basic desires to achieve one thing or another
a sort of instinct or legacy through our father and mother.

In self knowledge and expression we all reveal the way forward
one step at a time or in leaps and bounds we come closer toward
where this impulse of life leads us or directs each one to go
while the emphasis is always to learn, live, love and to grow.

In life we all have to face situations by which we gain or lose
yet it depends so much on our ability and freedom to choose.
If we see beyond our present circumstances it’s a positive sign
and experience may prove that there was only an imaginary line.

In relationships there are certain things that we all come to know
whatever doesn’t appear on the surface, otherwise hard to show.
To cultivate or develop the best in ourselves and others is a worthy ideal
though many people have a tendency for the false instead of what is real.

There are so many aspects of life we take for granted or even miss their point
in our daily struggle for survival whoever we are or find ourselves at this joint.
It takes much discriminative knowledge based on experience to come out ahead
at the end of each day be able to relax or rest and even sleep soundly in our bed.

We’re all prone to the malady of living wherever we may happen to be
as long as we don’t make it harder for ourselves or others in being free.
And in seeking the right solutions to those problems or dilemmas that we face
we should realise them to be relative not just to one particular time and place.

3 B.06 Achievement Of Peace

Peace - the desire of every society,
Got not through war intermittingly,
Nor fear or weakness overwhelmingly,
But by pure will of peace of humanity.

Peace not an absence of war be,
It a virtue, a state of mind but be,
A disposition for benevolence truly,
Lying in confidence and justice only.

Peace ever always beautiful does be,
Not for oil, gold or interest of society,
Peace without moral purpose brief be,
If lacking human interest unattained be.

A war can not be won by any society,
But peace can be got by humanity,
Its success not by shunning conflict be,
But by removing causes of poverty.

By removing intolerance and oppression,
Ignorance, injustice and discrimination,
Envy, anger, pride, avarice and ambition,
With understanding and proper education.

Those of The Crumpets and Tea Party

Representing heartily,
Are those of the crumpets and tea party.
Those of greed and suppressors of rights...
And consumed with self righteousness,
To believe successful theft...
Should be kept in their sight.

In an uproar over spending,
That the government attempts to prevent.
This movement is relentless...
In showing their contempt.

Although they've acquired wealth,
By denying others to gain.
They refrain from being labelled racists.
Preferring 'conservative' names.

Conducting protests,
To keep their greed digested.
They wish to continue their interests...
That have shown them to be,
Thieves of neglect.

Isolating in separation,
From those they've made poor.
Their values and standards...
Have depleted economic doors.

And even though on their own shores,
A welcomed corruption was adored.
They insist there is a need for more of it.
Regardless who is crushed...
By a leeching that has benefitted,
Their tastes to luxurize...
And fatten their own thighs.

Representing heartily,
Are those of the crumpets and tea party.
Those of greed and suppressors of rights...
And consumed with self righteousness,
To believe successful theft...
Should be kept in their sight.
