Decisions

DECISIONS

When choice, once clear, uncertain grows,
when confidence is in the throes
of conflict as the hands of fate
turn counter-clockwise, retrograde,
decisions must be made.

As lost hands may not be replayed
act, don’t delay, and fears may fade,
so plan ahead, anticipate
life’s pattern to its ebbs and flows
key in, diverting current woes.

When doubt, once abstract, shadows throws
to dim the spirit’s inner flows,
the mind must not procrastinate,
though expectations seem betrayed
where visibility has greyed.

Decisions must in time be made.
Tomorrowrs no safe barricade!
As rates of Change accelerate
Chance cannot, even if it chose,
avert Time’s arrows, flighty b[l]ows.

No door remains forever closed.
Internal or external foes
undermine the strongest state.
Initiative displayed
may turn the sharpest blade.

Decisions, if delayed,
beyond all reason Reason trade
for self destruction, - taken late
may compromise, harm, or foreclose
free choice, voice suffocate.

Life - 1240 - Initial Version

Life comes and goes as fortune flows
It never knows what cause it sows
For cycle slows or speeds, and those
Effects wind blows truth seldom shows.

Like April snows regrets melt: rose
In May soon glows to blossom grows,
Fling sorrow's bows and arrows, woes
End now, and close Time's book, compose

Lines which oppose all sadness owes
In verse or prose no debt - transpose
Free soul which chose as joy arose.
Expose nor woes nor hope foreclose.

LIfe shadows swallows, overthrows,
FEels rose row grows for soul's repose.

Life's Tides 1240 Current Version

Linked ebbs and flows, tides fortune blows,
It never knows what cause it sows
For cycle slows or speeds, and those
Effects winds chose truth seldom shows.

Like April snows regrets melt: rose
In May soon glows to blossom grows.
Fling sorrow's bows and sharp arrows,
Enjoy life 'til Time's pages close

Life which opposes sadness owes
In verse or prose no debt, transpose
Free soul cleansed whole as joy arose.
Expose no woes nor hope foreclose.

Life shadows swallows, overthrows,
Feels garden grows for heart's repose.

Decisions

At the times decisions must be had, we weigh the good and the bad.
Decisions not always cut and dry, being left too often to wonder why,
What decision bears more weight, on the scale that people call fate?
Why do these things happen to me, just what is it that I can not see?

With decisions made from the heart, reason sometimes plays no part.
There is never rhyme or reason, when it’s your heart you’re pleasing.
And reason can seem kind of cold, when a decision seems to be bold.
However, it is never fate my friend, with our God, who knows the end.

With any decision that you make, there’s a chance a heart will break.
But you must remember my friend, that in due time hearts will mend.
Decisions come in various kinds, and burden both hearts and minds.
Whatever the decision, be assured, guidance is offered by The Lord.

Friend, you can humbly go to God, and He will light the path to trod.
And when you truly seek His face, God will fill your heart with Grace.
Make the decision and take a stand, even if others don’t understand.
If someone towards you is unkind, Christ will give you peace of mind.

The Lord will light the proper path, guiding you from the unkind wrath.
If you have never sought The Lord, He’s truly a source to be implored.
Christ will then show you the way, to make a decision in a Godly way.
With God make your decision then, leave it with The Savior my friend.

Do Not Interrupt My Choice

I do have a choice,
And I make my own decisions.
Do NOT give me 'voice'.
When, in fact...
You're in a position to listen.

And...
If employed,
In a customer service position...
As a 'sales technician',
Like it or not...
Respect my choice.
Do not debate with me,
To stir up conflict...
With my decision.

When I'm given 'voice'...
And I know that voice to be,
Coming from one to indicate superior authority...
Over me!
As if what I decide for my life is not best.
Because I reveal I live on a budget...
And that is confessed how fixed it is.
Do NOT act as if,
I am not aware of it!
By treating me on the telephone,
Where I live is inferior.
And my mind is in a non-thinking zone!

I do have a choice,
And I make my own decisions.
Do NOT give me 'voice'.
When, in fact...
You are in a position to listen.

And...
Do not give me dial tone either.
Because my decision affects your commission.
I am not responsible for your economic condition.
Especially if I can barely satisfy my own!
Do not interrupt my choice,
By disconnecting your voice.

Making Decisions

We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!

We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!

How often does a hindsight renew,
A clearer vision wished we had then used.

How often do we then excuse this...
As mistakes we've made,
Too late to shake away.
To turn around unphased,
Just to have things our way!

We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!

How often does a hindsight renew,
A clearer vision wished we had then used.
While making decisions wearing the same old shoes.

Decisions

In our lives, we make
an enormous amount of decisions.
Some are wise,
while others are not.
Some are thought out,
while others are on
the spur of the moment.
It is these decisions
that normally cause us
the most pain
because we examine them
time and again.
Did we make the right one,
or would it have been better
not to make one at all.
As some decisions cannot be reversed
after, they have been made.

An IF Wished

Tomorrow comes too often,
To one listening to promises unfulfilled.
Today thoughts are delayed,
For decisions that aren't made.
And yesterday takes the blame,
When an IF wished...
Is replayed!

Aborted are actions,
Awaiting satisfactions...
As distractions take centerstage,
For delusions.

Conclusions never come,
To do the right thing that should be done.
Leaving happiness a myth,
For those bewildered...
By opportunities missed sent adrift!

Tomorrow comes too often,
To one listening to promises unfulfilled.
Today thoughts are delayed,
For decisions that aren't made.
And yesterday takes the blame,
When an IF wished...
Is replayed!

Like someone stuck in the pursuit of youth,
Applying denials diminished of truth...
Baiting as they wait,
To marinate in compliments,
Aging as time fades.

To Feel Freed

Escaped from fear to make decisions.
No longer in doubt,
I can and will have happiness...
Inside and out.
It is clear my needs are important to me.
And whether others are agreeable...
I have walked away from that wish to please.

Free with a peace of mind I sought.
Realizing 'that' piece of peace,
I could not have bought...
To have it released.
Letting go and leaving behind,
Anxieties that tensed with no sense...
That kept me sitting on fences,
With defenses I made!
I could no longer stay that way...
In shaded indecision.

I had to ignore,
What others had to say.
And I listened with deep thought!
A craving increased,
My need to obey.
Regardless of opinions...
That may have caused my steps delayed!
To flee from insecurities,
Within me beginning to fade.

Escaped from fear to make decisions.
No longer in doubt,
I can and will have happiness...
Inside and out.
It is clear my needs are important to me.
And whether others are agreeable...
I have walked away from that wish to please.
With tears of regret,
I chose my heart...
And what is best,
For it and me to feel freed!

Decisions (acrostic)

Decisions are hard to make.
Every time there’s more to take.
Choices there are lots of,
Involving life, school and love.
Some decisions can be easy,
Involving friends and family.
Others can be more difficult.
None are to be left alone,
Since good decisions are your own.

I See Them On The Weekends

Who selected what you wear...
And helped you dress this morning?

'What kind of question is that?
I make those decisions myself! '

Who selected where you shop?
Dine and entertain your whims?
When you have them?

'What are you getting at?
Is there a point to be made here? '

Sooo...
You will agree,
If you are influenced to do anything...
It will be a choice you make?

'Sure...
Everyone does that.'

Then why are so many people,
Blaming others for their problems?
IF they are making their own decisions.
And where they are in life by choice!

'Well...
Some folks have legitimate gripes.'

I know!
I see them on the weekends,
Packing the malls...
And spreading their girth on the sidewalks.

If That Is Possible

If you are not about who you are...
Then why are you here in prejudgement?
The only decisions you can make,
There is a hesitation.
You can not make up your mind!
Most of the time.
And you want your opinions heard?
Unsolicited?
To spend the time of others?
When you should take that time,
Finding yourself.
Or where you are.
If that is possible.
And if it is...
You've got a lot of work to do.
And time is not on your side waiting.
Not for those decisions to be made.

Kensho - What Stations?

‘Knowledge enormous makes a god of me’
Expressed John Keats two centuries ago.
Not what one knows, but how one seeks should show
Strength within, enlightenment to free
Harmony which channels energy
On wave bands which our spectrum need not know.
Knowledge is a stream, unconscious flow.
Each learns the virtues of simplicity,
Nuances slight turn insight out, can be
Sometimes a hindrance where we’d wish to grow
‘Heaven in a grain of sand’ to glow
Out of time, still, offering true key.
Rise up beyond all self-taught limitations,
Life’s train unwinds all thoughts - between...

what stations?

Rupert Kensho Robin Le Saux

Thus current woes or current's flows are seen
from vantage points depending more on chance
than finger fate, which blocks, unlocks, advance
as circumstance dictates, where choice sets scene
for voice to praise or raise the roof with curse -
Man stays Time's fool, whatever rites rehearse.

Scenario Difficult Decisions

difficult decisions
to make requires
time needs energy

focus firm resolve
quite meditation
to recharge batteries

praying for guidance
and strength is good
difficult decisions

can be hard
we can only
try our best

we rarely know
in major decisions
our best solutions

Fading Out

packing my bags and heading out on my own
making choices that will shape the future days I have to come
and I could choose the easy road but I have to be strong cause
I don't want to spend a lifetime knowing that I've chosen wrong
And it's so bittersweet these decisions I must make
throwing one choice to the wolves for the other one I make
and that itself seems wrong to me cause I am still so young
how can I choose right when my life has just begun
is it so bad to be unsure now woah ooo ooo
age is supposed to clear things up
but my future is fading out
those who are older say my mind should be made up
headed on some path to greatness but I think that's messed up
cause there's so many options and I want to try them all
but now for some strange reason my back's against the wall
and it's so bittersweet these decisions I must make
throwing one choice to the wolves for the other one I make
and that itself seems wrong to me cause I am still so young
how can I choose right when my life has just begun
is it so bad to be unsure now woah ooo ooo
age is supposed to clear things up
but my future is fading out
(x2)is it so bad to be unsure now whoa ooo ooo
age is supposed to clear things up
but my future is fading out

A Choice To Make

Believers have a choice to make, when we believe, what to forsake,
Leaving behind things of the past, for those that shall eternally last.
Things that we once held up high, after the Cross, we need to deny,
Making choices for the sake of Him, Who saved us from all our sin.

If Jesus Christ is truly your choice, in God above you would rejoice,
As you leave worldly ways behind, moved by a new heart and mind,
And the Lord will never forsake you, as Christ makes your life anew,
Through the power from Calvary, with your mind now set on Eternity.

From some things we must turn away, no matter what others will say,
Believers are to live their life anew, as God directs all we say and do,
Such decisions aren’t made in haste, as life of old would be a waste,
For with renewed minds and hearts, from older ways, our life departs.

With new choices comes reward, when we make choices for our Lord,
Who made the choice of the cross, a choice made for all sinners lost,
His choice to become sin for man, was the door for us to God’s Plan,
God’s plan of Grace giving New Life, to all who come to Jesus Christ.

Reward for Believers begins here, as we live upon this earthly sphere,
Receiving a peace and joy inside, when worldly ways are truly denied,
And real reward lasting forevermore, when you enter Christ, The Door,
With the ultimate reward you receive, of Eternal Life when you believe.

Decisions

Decisions, decisions
Options and choices
That signify our freedom
But make life more difficult
All the same

But what would life be without
Decisions?
Would it be a meangless
Tangle of days after days?
A predetermined boring
Routine?

They make make life hard
But they can make it
So much better
Choices will come and go
But the decisions
Stay the same
