New love's peak passion dreams soon seem to fade,
and step by step by custom are betrayed,
too few familiarity flee, greyed

The Passion Fruit

[The Passion Fruit]

An epic Stanza a Dream if Might the cruel fates play tricks on the love longing mind. For Hope was the plant and Passion the fruit of the hearts implore. And love, Love is the Rain of all growth and for everyday a little rain must Fall.

The Dream of Dreams is to be loved in return by the one you dream of most. And so, her love grew for him as she saw the figure of his shadow in the corridor, and heard the deep soothing sound of his voice. And alas, She sought the longing in her eyes would at one point be returned by his. She knew at this point would be a point of no return.

Love can drive you to do incredible things; it seeks the soul, mind, and the spirit. And just as beauty, love is in the eyes of it’s beholder, for each person love comes differently, by the way they receive it, the way they give it, the way they earn it, and the way they see it. Each is its own plant.

For her it was the Passion Fruit.

She showered this fruit with love, and heartened it with hope. At last the fruit was brimming with Passion.
It was the Passion Fruit.

It was filled with Passion, but it was lacking light.
The light of restoration in which she would finally see the longing in his eyes as they were in hers.
And although she filled it with everything else there was no light, and No plant can survive without light.
Without light there is no hope and without hope there is no plant.

The passion in her eyes became a dull place in a bright world. For in her world there was no light in which to see, and no hope for it to be seen.

And so she faded away.

The day she would leave all passion behind, all hope, and all cares, she told him the story of the Passion Fruit. How it loved, laughed, and lived.

The words she said to him before her final farewell were, “When all seems Dark look for Light for there is always Light you just have to find it. Remember Hope was the plant and Passion the heart’s wish, it’s fruit. And love, Love is the Rain of all growth and for everyday a little rain must Fall.”

“But don’t forget light, for without light you cannot see the rain of love, and without the rain, a plant will cease to exist. I have Finally found my light, but alas I have already gone through a dark tunnel.” These words she uttered before she took her last breath.
He never forgot, for secretly she was his passion, his light, and his rain.

He eventually found another, but he would never love her, for there is only one love, for love is jealous of all others. So, he loved but once and the rest was just of like.

On his last breath he said, “I have found my Light, but at the end of a dark tunnel, for there she is waiting for me, my dream of dreams.”

The Duality Of Darkness And Light

If I search and seek inside my mind
The deeper I look the more I find
Exists a spiritual duality of darkness and light
My soul mirrors the world, the day and the night
In the darkness I seek the light to guide
From the sunlight I seek a shadow to hide
The dark is my shield, the light is my blade
They guide and protect me, the light and the shade
They are the sides of coin, opposed yet part of the same
They the sides of a blade, one cold one aflame
This is the spiritual duality of darkness and light
The immortal struggle of the day and the night
Two sides of one coin, two sides of one blade
The darkness and light, tools used yet obeyed
The shade of the daylight, the light in the night
Our immortal mortality, our hope yet our plight
The darkness a shield, the light a bright sword
To refuse their protection we cannot afford
Their immortal struggle, mirrored in our souls
They both play their parts, they both have their roles
A spiritual duality the darkness and light
A reflection of reality the day and the night

Lost My Poems

Somewhere in the night a child cries,
A Losing soul someone weeps and someone dies.
No Wear to be found in the night, humanity hides.
Somewhere in the night, a soul screams, not mistakin a thing
As people fade and die, lost in dreams tryin to intervene.
Somewhere in the night, reality lives in people steal.
Somewhere in the night loneliness dwells, many people fell
As people die, no one cares i am telling you now so beware.

I remember the last time we talked
How I listened but still did not hear
A fool thinks he's wise to it all
Even as love disappears
Now I'm down on my knees like a wounded man
I've made mistakes that I just can't ignore.
I'll follow my heart down this highway
And hope it leads back to your door.

A Hole In The Soul Of Depth

Soul why do you cry out?
In the depth of despair you don't even care-
even if they dare to speak to you...
dare to talk, walk, and share the breath of fresh air with you.
Soul you cry out, yet you do not answer to the beckoning of the caller.
You do not respond to the death of your soul-
losing blood at every waking moment.
In the quiet still of the night you scream once again, but your forever friend
is no longer there in the end...
for that night you did not only bend but you broke again.
You broke of your passions, morals, standards, and love.
You broke of your mercy, spirit, compassion, and your tenderness...
tenderness to understand and not command.
Tenderness to love and not judge.
Tenderness to withstand all life's demands without sinking in the sand and holding your love's left hand.
That part of your soul is gone.
Your soul is beyond hope-
beyond restoration...but only self medication in response to your frustration.
Now it is only devastation...
in response to the hole of your soul.
It is a vicious cycle on an upward slope that leads to no hope only depth of lose...the loss of everything.

Doorway

I stand in the doorway to my soul,
The door is locked and you threw away the key,
Please find it in your heart to forgive, then look me in the eye,
Find the key that unlocks the door, let me back in to our soul,
You did it without me but together we can do so much more,
Stay in the light and there will be no night anymore.

The pain is gone the heart is strong,
The future bright with stars and light,
The fear is gone the love is strong,
The love that shines is the eternal mind.

The deepest well has spat me out into the night,
I am lost and blind without your light,
Please be my friend in my darkest hour,

ANTIPERISTASIS

Fused through finest fairy fission,
emerald, jasper, jade,
to nothingness soon fade.
High symbols of romance soon fade
beside volcanic fires displayed
in dancing eyes of fairest maid,
who is a most enchanting vision!

Lovely, angel apparation!
in grey-green woolen plaid,
and cape of light brown suede.
Soft phantom of delight, when laid
upon my sight, as I surveyed
perfection’s sweet façade
reminiscient of great Titian.

And should e’er in exhibition
your image be portrayed
in Florence, Sorbonne, Slade,
should ever this win accolade
it would be truth betrayed, -
pale imitation made
of all thats best in heaven!

My soul is bound, in prison.
Name hidden, homage paid,
For were my heart X rayed
or its sheathed sinews open laid,
by scalpel blade displayed, -
Could purity persuade?
Why this sudden disparatition?

Why has our trysting been repaid
by such a very brief fruition?
Please reply to my petition,
to clarify your opposition.

These empty compliments, when paid,
put people in a false position,
ever appear an imposition.
To be my poor soul’s sole physician
was this your heart’s supreme ambition?

Perhaps your reason, Sir, has strayed,
mazed by a misplaced supposition!
I never thought to craze, imprison,
heart elsewhere already given.
My goal it neither was, nor mission,
to daze your soul into submission, -
I sought a comrade, not a cade!

Imaginations may be swayed,
for Eros is a fly magician,
leading emotion’s ebullition
down, down to bottomless perdition,
like siren sweet, mermaid musician
rewarding passion with prodition.
Tis true, - you fantasies obeyed.

With time, all ardour tends to jade,
so rectify this biased vision!
I am no perfect acquisition
like Caesar’s wife, above suspicion!
Before you reach a wrong decision
distrust distorted intuition -
shun this charade, false masquerade!

Another my fair hand has prayed.
Although resenting inquisition
I’ve explained my evanition:
Do not dispute, please, this decision.
