Blossom Comes with Spring - 1378
Joy and imagination here would seek
Attainment and serenity, at last
Creating through a wonder word world fast
Karmic fusion where two minds may speak
Intensely, neither verbally nor weak.
Expectations high were, in the past,
Countered by betrayal - world which vast
Had seemed became less trusting, sprang a leak,
Although awareness reached fresh plateau peak.
Need for self-trust, priority forecast,
Combining choice with voice, full sails, strong mast,
Heart high held here hopes harmony. Hurt bleak
At present fades preparing future fair,
New blossom comes with spring, warms everywhere.

SEASONAL TRAMPOLINE
Joy joins imagination, seeks
serenity, at last
creating wonder, world which speaks
renewal. Very fast,
wintry woes which weighed for weeks
are banished to dark past.
Awareness reaches plateau, peaks
before horizons vast
boundless, cloudless, rebirth leaks
from blossom, bird, sky, grass.
Joy springs trampoline - sad cheeks
bleak, teary, overcast.

In Times Like These
I seek The Father’s Will, not mine, in God’s Ways and in His time,
For on the path He has me take, my life, my God will not forsake.
As the present times do darken, I know my voice, He will hearken,
Sending me His calming Grace, His presence in the darkest place.
I know just what I would desire, but, God’s Plan for man is higher,
And He knows just what I need, so for such things I do not plead.
God is never far away from me, no matter what the times may be,
Even if my heart wells up with fear, I know my Lord’s always near.
It’s knowing God within my heart, that calms my fears at the start,
When my heart begins failing me, through God’s Spirit I shall see,
The plan God has for everyone, who truly trusts in Christ His Son,
And all we need is trust in Him, Christ, who saved us from our sin.
Present times so dark and bleak; affects the strong and the weak,
Knowing not what is just ahead, can fill hearts with fear and dread,
But, knowing Jesus Christ as Lord, true peace to us He will afford,
To understand, God is in control, of the world and our eternal soul.
When man’s alarms start to ring, I know I belong to Christ the King,
Who rules and reigns from on high, as man’s darker ways go awry,
As man’s ways falter all around, Christ places me on firmer ground,
In a Kingdom which has no end, with God not the world as a friend.

When Feelings Fail to Flabbergast - 1968
Future today, tomorrow: past,
love's piper must be paid at last,
where two's no longer company
one's crowded out, one too many
fights pseudo superfluity
self-confidence at sea, aghast.
Too late is hell. Seek, rather, fast
to try new track, exile, outcast
unworthy partner, fake. Break free
from falsehood lacking harmony's
far better far than fragility
stretched out by thin elastoplast.
Life's boat cannot advance half-mast,
an appetite scorns cold repast,
‘alone' keeps credibility
preparing for fresh melody
by banishing futility
when feelings fail to flabbergast.
Causal love-links multicast
play games, dream's downfall seemed forecast
to herald heartbreak threnody
yet somehow primes rhyme's melody,
prime-time until eternity
mocks mortal bombast vain as vast.

Heart is tiny, Hopes are high
Heart is tiny, Hopes are high
On top of the world, wants to fly.
Wants to surf, in mid of the ocean;
Wants to climb, Highest the mountain;
Always willing, to touch the sky.
Heart is tiny, Hopes are high
Wants to shine, like a bright star;
Wants to race in, the worlds' best car;
Lighter as feather, wants to glide.
Heart is tiny, Hopes are high
All things happen, On its commands;
Every thing comes to, When it demands;
Whole beauty of world, wants in eyes.
Heart is tiny, Hopes are high
Better if it does some good deed
Helps the poor and who are in need
Accepts the truth and denies the lies.
Heart is tiny, Hopes are high

Never Think Of Past
Never think of past
That might have ended fast
Think of present where everything is absent
You are with your strong body and present
Work for stable future
That may make your side secured
Work hard towards goal and make it sure
Nothing will go wrong and it will reassured
To think of past may be just suicide
The difference remains very wide
The past might be sweet or dark
Yet one must cautiously embark
Past must be kept in mind but for reference
Just to compare with it and take chance
To improve the present at the same time take lessons of the past
Never to look back with pain and confidently last
Past may always remind you of poverty
How were you in those days and feeling very sorry?
How were the pitiful days spent with worry?
Now left with no choice but to go ahead with mission to carry
Some of the strong steps are needed
Some drawback has to be accepted
Yet it should not mar your will power with strong resolve
Self effort with dedication and aim to solve
Leave behind everything and think of glorious tomorrow
Live in present, steer your course and allow
That shall never allow you to go slow
As you were coming with high sprit while lying low

My heart in the world
My heart cries
for change in the world
My heart bleeds
for peace in the world
My heart seeks
fullness in the world
My heart beats
for love in the world
My heart howls
for sanity in the world
My heart hopes
for greatness in the world
My heart fades
for hate in the world
My heart dies
for life in the world
My heart prays
for faith in the world
My heart crawls
for growth in the world
but the world
spills my heart like water held in its hand

Brighter World
Insight grasps unhappy challenge passed
prepares for future fair where blossom spray
accompanies warm summer welcome, play
fresh heartfelt tunes to links which very fast
create fresh interfaces, leave aghast
old trials and tribulations. Interplay
anticipates enchanting gladsome way
to seek, to learn in manner multicast.
Much dust is swept away. Rich joys at last
may metamorphose cold troubles, homage pay
to true enchantment freeing kite from stay
that shatters. String locks fall away, outcast.
A brighter world, long waited, weak with strong
replaces, solace shows life knows no wrong.

Denial
My plight isn’t what you think or
What you care to believe-
Just as cherry trees do not blossom in
The month of January or
You cannot dance in the midst of fire, and not get burned-
Your high hopes for me became
Shattered dreams- only because
You did not care to see the truth –
I know it hurt you to believe
I could not build mountains of success, as
From the time I could speak,
Aspirations were extreme-
From the moment I learned to walk-
You envisioned me running marathons-
I tripped and fell so many times, hills were insurmountable,
I tried to rise to every occasion and
To rebuild collapsed foundations-
The pain of constant failure evoked
None but anger, dismay and turbulent moments-
You never realized that every time I danced in
The midst of my own fire, I was burned and
How I would have so desired to see
Spring flowers blossoming in the mid winter-
It was not my choice to falter in every step I took or
To fear climbing a mountain no matter how high or low-
The voices I heard when no one was speaking-
You did not hear and to the depths of my fear
You looked the other way-
My life isn’t the way you think or
What you care to believe-
I weep tears of frustration every single day-
My spirit knows and I feel inside of my heart-
That the reason you had so many dreams for my renowned success
Were not out of abhorrence – I being your one and only child-
I can see through the darkness of my window of pain-
All of the hopes and dreams you had for me were
Just out of love, and there is no shame in wishing for
Flowers to blossom in the midst of winter-

I Offer You My Heart
Time stands still for one brief moment
The air gently plays with the hair around my face
Today I stand alone
Ready to face the one thing I regret
Too long I have ran
Straying far from anyone I could trust
Life wasn’t my only fear,
Betrayal was what truly killed
So I stand here on the edge
Ready to jump
Thoughts racing around in my head
Trust is what I want
I gave my heart away once before,
Only to have it handed back
Bruised and bloody
The wounds have yet to heal
Scares still litter the flesh
I kept it locked away in a box
Never to be hurt again
That was until the key,
Long forgotten,
Was found
The chest was opened and exposed I was to the world
A new feeling long hidden awoke to wondering eyes
Now I give my heart up
A relationship to forge
A trust to instill
This jump no longer feels high
And,
Anxiety has faded
The past is in the past, and
The future is open
Until that heart is taken,
I will not jump
Until the trust is given,
I will not fall
Until I find me,
I will stand alone

The Secret of Time and its Passage
Memory defeats passage of time
Hurts and pains enliven passed times and events
In the form of aches, and rarely are enlivened pleasant experiences had;
Anxiety, fear, apprehension constitute the future;
Past and future are thought forms
In the present continuous,
Arising out of earlier experiences,
And doubts and imaginations about the imminent,
Are mere mental projections
In the present;
The present continuously changes
Every one tenth of a second
As a pulse series of awareness
Replacing past dissolving into future;
Events took place and the ones we imagine may happen
Respectively create memory,
And doubts, fears and expectations;
Thus the egoistic mind drawing us into the past or future
And seldom allowing us to live in the present
And enjoy current bliss, peace and silence
Creating whirlpool of time and its passage
Never lets us transcend the notion of time
And its passage;
But the reality is,
Present continuous being
One-tenth of a second,
The past over and the future yet to dawn;
Realization of this secret of
Passage of time, past, present and future
As mere thought forms in the present,
Sets in us peace, bliss and quietude
And we face life cheerfully
Transcending mental suggestions
And enjoy the present in calmness,
Peace, bliss, silence, in unoccupied awareness
As contented and content-free state of mind

Confidence - 1232
Hope's heart heart follows, head held high,
regrets may melt where heartfelt tune,
cues to tomorrows shedding sigh,
discovers confidence which soon
tints rainbow arch 'spite cloudy sky.
Free spirit fills will's bright ballon,
soars from discoloured background dry
which morning, night and afternoon
emotions often would deny.
Where twin souls share serenity
hearts, minds, unite in harmony.

A glorious past
Past is always glorious
by that only you have become known or famous
that must remain on or continuous
the reason may be many or various
you can't go by the past
though it might have ended fast
the present may still be eluded
if past is not at all included
you love the present and think of future
the thing which is not there for sure
Think of the past with little from present
you won't feel future too absent
don't read much about anything
you will have to prove for everything
you can't trust the present trend
you may plan accordingly with some mends

How January Is Propelled To Spring
Chill January’s snow falls thick and fast
Propelled by blinding blizzard’s biting blast,
So soft white blankets bind the earth for days,
Though spring means drifts shall not lie long nor last.
Bleak January’s rain falls hard and long
Impelled by fierce Atlantic gales, full strong
So even mighty oaks bow in their wake
Till fury fades to calm in spring’s sweet song.
Wild January’s storms shall shed their sting,
Repelled by sun, as winter spins to spring,
So kinder, temperate breezes gently blow
To melt the snow, that all the fields can sing.
Mean January’s curse will never stay,
Dispelled by hopes of ever-lengthening day,
So gardens don spring coats of cheerful hues
As colour’s charm returns where all was grey.
Cruel January’s cloak of white shall yield,
Compelled to turn to green in springtime’s field,
So leaping lambs can clothe the hills again
And cattle quit the comfort of the bield.
Grim January’s gloom will end, by mirth
Expelled, as warmth returns to cheer the earth,
So birds will nest and leaves begin to spring
And dormant buds burst, bearing brand-new birth.
Harsh January’s coldness is compelled
To change, as dismal drabness is expelled.
Repelled by spring, impelled, the frost must flee;
So, doubts dispelled, to warmth we are propelled.

Without the ones I love, Without the god above.
Without the ones I love
Without the god above
I am of but of the weak
An existence so bleak
They say come on man you should really turn the other cheek
Listen to every word I speak
I'm here to teach
So mistakes won't be repeated
A heart that I can't stop the bleeding
With my words I can only hope I'm reaching
Let distance divide
Still I shall try to change the tides
Without the ones I love
Without the god above
I am of but of the weak
An existence so bleak
They say come on man you should really turn the other cheek
Listen to every word I speak
For I'm not here cause I like to preach
Pain can be prevented with right medicine
An antidote with and injection
A simple confession
To my self
And everyone else
Without the ones I love
Without the god above
I am of but of the weak
An existence so bleak
They say come on man you should really turn the other cheek
Listen to every word I speak
My intent is not of the cheap
Bury all the greed in the dead sea
For it is dead to me
I've done things in my time I'm not proud of
I've made up reasons that start with because
I tried to justify the why
It engulfed the sky
Without the ones I love
Without the god above
I am of but of the weak
An existence so bleak
They say come on man you should really turn the other cheek
Listen to every word I speak
I must eat
Not because want to, but because I need to
Someone has to keep this body alive
Through those evil eyes I watched you die
Didn't lift a finger, you said it was what you wanted
Didn't try to stop you, figured you wouldn't go through with it
But you did and now it is so hard to forgive
Without the ones I love
Without the god above
I am of but of the weak
An existence so bleak
They say come on man you should really turn the other cheek

Perhaps extreme danger strips us of all pretenses, all ambitions, all confusions, focusing us more intensely than we are otherwise ever focused, so that we remember what we otherwise spend most of our lives forgetting that our nature and purpose is, more than anything else, to love and to make love, to take joy from the beauty of the world, to live with an awareness that the future is not as real a place for any of us as are the present and the past.

Journey To The Past
Heart don't fail me now
Courage don't desert me
Don't turn back now that we're here
People always say
Life is full of choices
No one ever mentions fear
Or how the roud can seem so long
How the world can seem so vast
Courage see me through
Heart I'm trusting you
On this journey to the past
Somewhere down this road
I know someone waiting
Years of dreams just can't be wrong
Arms will open wide
I'll be safe and wanted
Finally home where I belong
Well starting now my life begins
Starting now I'm learning fast
Courage see me through
Heart I'm trusting you
On this journey to the past
Heart don't fail me now
Courage don't desert me
Home

Buddha at the Bodhi tree (Sri Lanka)
Here, to the oldest living tree
Pilgrims have flown, sailed, crawled and bussed
To feel its shade to know its strength
The world’s not owned but held in trust
It never withers, fresh shoots grow
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Does not apply to such a tree
The world’s not owned but held in trust
Buddha, in this tree’s motherland
Had conquered self and fear and lust
Now every seed the message gives
The world’s not owned but held in trust
Treasures you covet, things possessed
Silver and gold all turn to rust
Others will claim your home, your land
The world’s not owned but held in trust
Your little self’s a puff of smoke
To every living thing be just
Power brings responsibilities
The world’s not owned but held in trust
The fluttering leaves eternal tell
Man’s not immortal, die we must
Live a full life but live it well
The world’s not owned, but held in trust

Longing
Aching.
Longing.
Museful pondering.
Hopes peak and blossom
like a tender and delicate white rose
perched precariously
on the edge of a mountain peak.
Hopes plummet and swirl
downward
downward
downward
into a rushing
rocky
tumult
of
unsettled
and chaotic
waters.
Hopes spring anew
with vibrancy
and a tender compassion
and fresh promise
and wonder
if they
can begin again
anew?
