Affair

Most flee feared future's disarray,
undercover years' tears, doubt,
demonstrating life's roundabout
wry, hearts' harmony astray.
Black tie affairs mask day-to-day
regrets, misundersandings, flout.
impressions, hide affections' drought,
disavowing sharing, pray
upon timeworn love's interplay,
Instinctively pretend without
fete; bluffing athough all about
guiltily observe dismay.
Cummerbund infidelity
funds monochrome obscenity.

After Black Tie Dinner

Most couples, from their future, with dismay
attempt to hide as years add tears to doubt,
reminding one that life seems roundabout
gone haywire, fun affection run astray.
Black tie affairs too often day-to-day
regrets, hedged bets, must mask as inside out.
impressions fool, fears false conventions flout,
too few prove love's success in sharing way.
Rewards are justly won. The interplay
Instinctive of your talents is without
counterfeit fête; bluff though all about
in black and white back from right track, bright play.
Though cummerbund funds infidelity
restore from monochrome integrity.

Black Tie Affairs

Behind sedate appearances, facade,
Life carried on ignoring threats of war
As if genteel existence more and more
Created chrysalid safety net. Brocade,
Kith, kin in ordained order well arrayed
Too often hid uncertainties in store,
Impressions maintained for flirt hid dirt on floor.
Expections - Empire, rich brigade -
Amid light table talk itself betrayed,
Fortunes dissipating, from its core
Fell rotten apples, all afraid to bore,
Awaiting Sarajevo, shell cascade.
In spite of surface gloss one class prepared
Revolts, spelled revolutions, few unspared.

Bloated few fled future's disarray,
Led undercover lives where years' tears, doubts,
Avoided challenging life's roundabouts,
Conventions stifling at odds with hearts astray.
Kinky Black tie affairs masked day-to-day
Trials and tribulations few dared flout.
Impressions hid internal demons, drought
Emotional disavowed to prey
Archly on time-worn love's interplay,
False pretense stiff upper lip throughout
Fêtes and fancies bluffing all about
As guilty parties sly denied dismay.
Infidelities and cummerbund
Raised silver spoons' praise, lazing, merit shunned.

After Dinner - Margaret and Richard

Most couples, from their future, with dismay
Attempt to hide as years add tears to doubt,
Reminding one that life seems roundabout
Gone haywire, with its genius astray.
And yet you’re an example day-to-day
Regrets no space retain, inside or out.
Each in his way should vain conventions flout,
Though few give striking proof succeed we may.
Rewards are justly won. The interplay
Instinctive of your talents is without
Counterfeit or bluff though all about
Hope for mere fraction of your worth to lay
A sure foundation for that joy which I
Rise up to toast, pair love does sanctify.

Hi Mom; Remember me?

Tissue warning.

Her eyes abrim with unshed tears
She tries her best to hide her fears.
But tells her beads compulsively.

Her soldier son a fighting man.
Is serving in Afghanistan.
She prays for him continuously.

She prays he will soon be home again
And bring an ending to the pain.
She cannot hide effectively.

But those of us who love her know
She is prepared to undergo
Her sufferings stoically.

It is her choice to hide her fears
It is her choice to hold back tears.
So we pretend we cannot see.

It is our choice to show respect
We know she’s trying to protect
us from sharing in her misery

but we have a secret too
We know her soldier son is due
to land almost immediately.

But he swore us to secrecy
Though we agreed reluctantly
We will stay with her until we see.

Him say “ Hi Mom remember me.”
The she will let her tears flow free
whilst she is smiling joyfully.

Coincidence Coins Serendipity

Mountains into molehills melt
As steps towards enlightened dream,
Unclear at first, may later seem
Drawn up by fate. Emotions felt,
Empowerment with cards well dealt,
Contrary winds disperse, joy's beam
May filter through black walls, blocked scheme,
And blows aimed low below the belt.
Unfair conditions in die Welt
Delight defuses, hope on stream
Ends anguish, loss of self-esteem,
Comfort challenged, doubts indwelt.
Muse's music, meditation may
Create conditions to defeat dismay.

More than before she finds felicity
At hand, within, without, without a doubt.
Unfortunate conditions round about
Divert attention from her need to key
Emotions into opportunity,
Coaslescing energy to flout
Man made blocks, internal locks, whose rout
Appears essential for heart's harmony.
Unperturbed, frustration fought, she
Defeats dismay, demands free flight. Love's drought
Ends offering expansion, joy throughout.
Coincidence coins serendipity.
Meaning, which below horizon hid,
Comes clear: fears, tears, fade, open inner lid.

Undercover

Oh, sweet darling, kick your shoes off,
Let your hair down, get in bed;
Come and lie down here beside me,
Chase the demons from my head.
Oh this day had been a devil,
Come here angel make it right,
Undercover heavens waitin,
Will you take me there tonight?
Undercover angels hover,
As we fell in love in bed,
Undercover words are uttered,
Even though its never said,
Undercover I would rather,
Be with you than anywhere,
We are undercover lovers,
And I run to meet you there.
Private eyes and private moments,
Private words and flying sparks,
Sharing fantasies and secrets,
Fiery kisses and racing hearts,
Its a sacred place we go to,
Magical and sexy too,
And when we go undercover,
There is only me and you.
Undercover we discover,
Theres another world inside,
Besides this crazy world we live in,
We can leave it all outside,
Oh, undercover.
Come here darling let me hold you,
Jump in here beside of me,
When the world is blown to pieces,
You can always come to me,
Let me touch you, let me kiss you;
You dont have to say a word,
What you tell me with your body,
Beats all Ive ever heard.
Undercover angels hover,
As we cuddle up in bed,
Undercover run to other,
Even though its never said,
Undercover I would rather,
Be with you than anywhere,
We are undercover lovers,
And I run to meet you there.
Come and lay down by my side,
Undercover heavens waitin,
And were going there,
Going there, going there right now...

Wearing It Now

People are around
I know I’ll be alright
The mask doesn’t hurt
No tears
Come from the mask
I put my own on
Thinking that’s the only way it should be
Becoming someone not even I can recognize
In the puddle on the ground
Stomping in it knowing this is not me
Then when the people go away
So does mask
This is the scene in the play I don’t know my lines
For I get scared and choke every time
Mine my mask just changes from
White-ish pink to a dark red
Where the mask simply goes from
Oh look at me I don’t do any thing wrong
To black showing it’s true colors
Whoever said black was all the rainbow mixed together
Is wring in this case
There is no other feeling other then black
Like truck tiers black
No sadness no joy just anger and hatred
The mask gets switched around from him to her
All the time I never know who is wearing it or
If the both of them are sharing it at the same time
So walking through that broken old door
That squeaks and carries on when you open it
You never know if this time
Will be the one time that will kill you
Or break your back
But you hope like heck you make it through
‘Cause if you don’t then you know your not
The only one the mask subjects
And the others will not survive without you

She'll hide her face

She'll hide her face when shes not alone.
she slaps on her a mask, but its not her own.
It's the mask that everyone else wears.
She wants to be just like them
supposedly free with glee.
Free from her troubles, worries and strife.
Free from her demons that dominate her life.

But when the darkness falls.
And she's all her alone she can't hide her face.
Her mask falls and crumbles apart.
Her heart fills with the numbness she's had for many years.

Now her tears will fall she's all alone.
In her last bid for a better life,
She let the mask slip once.
She had to put it on again as they stared at her in disbelife.
The world didn't want to see her pain.
Rather belives she's an annoying pain.

So Her mask went back on.
Well she planned the day when she'd be gone.

Cleansed

CLEANSED

Love cleansed today dreams interplay
complete, spoon, fork and knife,
derides dismay, lined cares which prey
upon brief Beauty’s life.

From disarray love’s here to stay,
towards joy’s light may trace
convincing way, chase cares which weigh
down those who change fear face.

Keep open door, no bad blood pour,
tomorrows true touch base,
hope sets fair score where scope’s shared core
united future grace.

Concord and cheer won’t disappear
when feelings interface
with someone near, who clear will hear
heart, comfort, share embrace.

Thus, change of gear, dissolve false fear,
it seems in any case
enchantment here may re-appear,
admit acceptance, space.

Life’s new frontier in this New Year
lost voice shall now replace,
from drear nights’ wear to fresh light steer,
heartease naught may displace.

Love’s Future Fare

Love yesterday seemed interplay
complete, spoon, fork and knife
that scorned dismay, false on fears does prey
to threaten Beauty’s life.

But try today to feel a way
towards the light don’t trace
heart’s disarray, the fears which weigh,
the weary tears, disgrace.

Don’t close white door let blood red poor
with future fair touch base!
if traitor’s core is known before
tomorrow you may face.

When drugs and beer both disappear
soon feelings interface
with someone near, who clear will hear
heart, comfort and embrace.

So, change of gear, dissolve false fear,
it seems in any case
resentment here needs disappear,
leave hope for scope and space.

Life new frontier will find, my Dear,
Death’s shadow shall replace,
all nights austere to fresh light steer
there’s other fish to chase!

Cincinat Pavelescu

Adieu [Adio]

Let us just strangers to remain;
Each other's smile thus to reject,
That love is ultimately vain
Like in a dream to recollect!

And our past love, so badly scarred,
Let's cover with a thick black shroud
And chilly rays of disregard
To feel that in our hearts will crowd!

The memories to us will flee,
But we'll perceive them as a dream
That back in time in a great glee
We bathed our souls and made them gleam.

And let's not cry when bitter grief
Cuts in our hearts a painful sore;
For we'll preserve a sweet relief,
The smile of that dear love of yore!

And if we ever go astray
In wilderness and shed hot tears,
Let us be guided by the ray
Of our forgotten lovely years.

Open Your Heart

Tis' one life you have,
Open your heart to love.
Love your wife, your son,
Daughter, husband, or special one.
Friends never turn away-
Open your heart to love every day.
Your scars will be many;
Much pain there will be.
Knives will cut deep;
Your eyes will for years weep.
At times you will wonder,
Is it really worth it all?
To love, feel, and cry,
Or to raise walls and inside die?
The latter seems the safer,
But behind walls doth one falter.
For we were made to live,
To love, breathe, and give.
To hide behind the walls,
Slowly one falls.
Petrified till no longer a soul,
Just grey stone, dead and cold.
Never able to move beyond,
The wail of a heart break song.
Forever in the past,
Never in the future, this his cast.
Never the chance feel,
The warmth of love so real;
The closeness of a friend,
When you are facing the bitter end.
Just a life of reclusion,
Doomed to seclusion.
A life wasted, a life for nothing.
A life of pain and bluffing.
Woe to sad memory,
But happy ones will never flee.
To love and live,
Or to die all stiff.
The choice is all yours,
What will be your course?
Please please open your heart,
Though it may be oft torn apart.
For if you don't ever,
True life experience you will never.
Tis' one life you have:
Open your heart to love.

Jenny I will never forget you

When it comes to having friends
There's quite a few about
But JENNY you're the very best
Of that I have no doubt
We've been good friends a long time
For nearly 6 years
We've held each other's hands and hearts
Through laughter and through tears
You're very, very precious,
You're solid platinum
In fact you're decked with diamonds
My very special chum
Today's a time to celebrate
And I just want to say
I wish you WERE here beside me
Celebrating this day.

No Regrets

Harry tobias / ingraham
No regrets
Although our love affair has gone astray
No regrets
I know Ill always care though youre away
So now our happy romance ended suddenly
Still in my heart youll be forever mine
No regrets
Because somebody new looks good to you
No regrets
Sweetheart no matter what you say or do
I know our love will linger
When the other love forgets
So I say goodbye with no regrets
No regrets
Because somebody new looks good to you
No regrets
Sweetheart no matter what you say or do
I know our love will linger
When the other love forgets
So I say goodbye with no regrets

Give allowance to vigilance

The one who was uxorious,
might, nevertheless, have a mistress,
as infidelity is not disloyalty.
Loyalty and infidelity
are not to be confused with each other.
Ergo, you men and women,
never ever demand your spouses
about the truth of their affairs.

Growing Pains

I was a child
Beguiled and fresh
Of innocents and new
Who played like many
With trust and hope
For the future that would be new
But unlike many
I broke in two
A rag doll in despair
And knew not of the
Wrong been done
To a child of one so young
Suppressed I learned
So young in life
Of what not to share
Love, life and Happiness
Were things to me not real
I walked around half dead half live
Thinking alas is this my life
And every day I cried in vain
Crying I want to take my life
But life for me continued
In suffering and pain
Never really sharing

All that I had gained
Life can take its ups and downs
For me more so the downs
But then I learned to look for hope
That carried me to higher ground
So from childhood to teenage years
To young adult I grew
With all those years of doubt and shame
Suppressed with in my pain
The burden I carried for so many years
Turned to hatred and pain
So for many years my anger
Took me through a life of pain
Of self doubt and helplessness
So I always hide my pain
You learn to live you bare the pain
Of all that life can give
Then grow into a women
That your burdens you bare alone
But now I stand before you
A women of today
Learning, Love, Life and Happiness
And this time for me it’s real
And with open arms I learn
To share my love once again
With all my family and Friends
I say thanks once again.

January Friend

Reach for higher ground
About the way you look
The way you scream out loud

Mine
Just like the last time
It's all the same to me
She said

Let's pretend
My January friend
I'm wanting you again
I wanna touch ya
Every single heart that beats
Pretend
My January friend
I'm wanting you again
I wanna touch ya
Every single heart that beats

Cry
Don't cry out loud
You've gotta bear your cross but never dream too loud
And you're tied
Tied to the next time
You realize your crimes

Let's pretend
My January friend
I'm wanting you again
I wanna touch ya
Every single heart that beats
Pretend
My January friend
I'm wanting you again
I wanna touch ya
Every single heart that beats

Time stood still Monday mornin' yeah
Showed me what I had to see
It's not the way I thought it should be

You're my January friend
You're my January friend
You're my January friend
And every heart that beats pretend
Oh January friend
You're my January friend
You're my January friend
You're my January friend
And every heart that beats tonight's
Pretend

Wings

Love comes but once in a while
Now that you're here I'm beginnin' to smile
Why do they want us to walk when we can fly
Our love is burning inside
Why is it somethin' that we have to hide
Why do they want us to walk when we can fly
We'll always feel the same
If they break us up
We'll only have ourselves to blame
But we know they're playin' games
What affairs to show
We can make it go
If they only had wings
Then they'd be sharing in all of our things
Why do they want to walk when they can fly
break
What affairs to show
We can make it go
If they only had wings
Then they'd be sharing in all of our things
Why do they want to walk when they can
Fly, fly, fly, fly, fly

Conservative Health Care after Edmund Spenser The Faerie Queen Book II

See British youth war weary with unemployment
was by Cameron's coalition lately led away,
with wretched miseries, and woefull truth,
were to employers made a hopeless prey.
Time witness bears to beings' brief buffet
except for rich who, well insured for years,
waste while the poor essentials lack - dismay
Increased by Bill of Commons and of Peers
dismemb'ring N.H.S. with crocodile tears.

The weary Britons, whose war-hable youth
Was by Maximian lately led away,
With wretched miseries, and woefull ruth,
Were to those Pagans made an open pray,
And dayly spectacle of sad decay:
Whom Romane warres, which now foure hundred years,
And more had wasted, could no whit dismay;
Till by consent of Commons and of Peares,
They crowned the second Constantine with ioyous tears.

(Love Poem) 4 Days and Counting

4 days and counting,
the excitement is mounting,
a new a life, a better life, full of happiness.
Saying all these goodbyes,
bring tears to the eyes.
Its a fading sunrise.
That first moment Ill forever cherish.
First impressions, first impressions,
will everything go right.
Its the mornings delight, to see you.
Even if it means the loss of a future that
I don't know what holds.
Only in a world so cold could
I either say no or let go.

4 days and counting,
the truest emotions surmounting.
Going for it all, the story book fight.
Reading it under a child's night light.
Making it work even when were at our worse.
All my energy being dispersed,
dispatched, by a higher calling.
My life was stalling over, and over again.
The constant wounding and mending.
It was never ending till I found my greatness in you.

4 days and counting.
The soul searching is over.
I have been delivered from my solitude and
we have raised the aptitude.
The skies so high, afraid to fall,
well do it together.
Floating down like a feather.

Priest

Through all the chapters of life's play
my flock I ever did beseech
the Holy Church’s sacred way
to follow, for the truth we teach, -
so all on the appointed day
St. Peter’s charity may stay

Through all life’s verses I’d allay
here fears, there tears, e’er sought to reach
the hearts of youth, the old, hair grey,
within my fold I’d always preach
that light eternal will array
all who do fight firm, don’t betray.

I wonder what to think of they
whose scarlet sins will never bleach,
who pawn their future lives for pay,
for silver coin their souls, - for each
Thy mercy, Lord, I humbly pray,
lest they should stoop ‘neath Satan’s sway.

Since souls are struck by doubt, dismay,
like driftwood stranded on life’s beach,
and since soon stiffens mortal clay,
contrite repentance is my speech: -
may those who He has drawn away
as angels rise at Judgement Day.
