Acceleration Generation Regeneration or Degeneration

Terse verse rehearses Nature’s cycle sent
as curse hearse food for thought life’s answers sought
for four millenia or more - predicament
narcissistic of man shaman time-trap caught.

Face lost in crowd, once cowed, may soar unbowed
outside staged stages, mournful shadow phase,
brief briefcase hard luck history, dread cloud
forever present pillow night dismays.

Man’s no stranger to hustle bustle streets,
unrailed and yet derailed by accident,
disease, or time which harvests heartless beats
as often as those tuned to tenderment.

Rent must be paid for earthly tenement
from birth to earth berth threescore ten years taught,
taut tightrope led from dark, fed, darkness bent,
with best laid plans of mice and men cut short.

Ignore swift time rift, second-thoughts aloud,
ticked of some callendar of nights and days,
of ages rushed and crushed far more than wowed,
till Lethe drowns strife's sorrows from life's gaze.

'Unkindest cut of all' seems self-deceit's
travesty of chance earth birth has meant
for opportunities before the winding-sheet's
last laugh and rictus ends bewilderment.

The sum of knowledge - man's empowerment -
now doubles each decade, and this has wrought
scope for both hope, destruction; store saved, spent,
itself prepares fresh options, cyclic sport.

Invention, innovation, have allowed,
acceleration which might seem haste haze
to most, who'd cruise coast, choose not, will kow-towed,
or caught in fad, trend, fashion, transient craze.

Unprecedented upgrade mankind meets,
greets multi-modal gene switch tripped, yet ought
take time out, flout race, rush outface; crush cheats
new world more slave than brave, wave’s bore grave fraught.

Moore’s Law's extrapolations represent
not only chips more powerful to sport
networked communications excellent,
they challenge base assumptions 'heaven sent'.

Concern to channel causal temperament
may seem as dream to stumblers on time bought,
but bumbling being bubble bursts, has wrent
tissues, rewiring brain sheath substance - sort
of myelin, white matter supplement
to speed synaptic links as swiflty caught,
relayed, as thought by neurones excellent
whose store depends on practice or to naught
is brought by lapse which traps experiment.

Bewilderment seems signature for most
who means can't steer to ends whose causal tick
beyond the click of mice and men mere ghost
appear to veer haphazardly, fall sick,
lose sight of goals, won't strive, prefer to coast
then perish caring scarce a fiddlestick
for those behind who raise sham, futile toast
to life vain strife perpetuates - lipstick
gloss to hide loss of unused gifts they lick
to mask frustration, stress, quick nervous tic.

From Crown to Downhill Flight 1930

Uneasy lies ahead, head wearing clown
stems stillborn tears, while smile disguises frown
too well aware of faults that others wear,
weary of his own that must prepare
for page where stage is empty of both smile
and frown, both tragic rage, dramatic style.

Ill begotten pair, forgotten soon,
as bust boom follows, dust fate's finger doom.
Catch twenty-two, eternal double-bind
to whom dark doubts would flout, preserving mind
from limits mere mortality imposes,
wit providing witness wherewithal
to conquer temporal restraints, dread call.
Yet neither sage nor sot one whit proposes
allowing never-ending bed of roses
without death's thorn and all it interposes
between taut tightrope shared for stretch extended,
and that whose short days fray, tort stay soon ended.

Heroic couplets cover shady acts,
as line line links, entwines, enchains, both facts
and fancy in scales' balance count as naught -
synaptic leap upon sleep's breeze net caught,
counts sheep while at deep discounts keep is sold
for naught persists caught by death's stranglehold.
Tale told what stays? Play's days of coward, brave,
young, old, rich, poor, submerged beneath time's wave.
Short sneeze, brief moment seized, tree's leaf falls numb,
swept from strife's maps, life taps new shoot soon dumb.

From entrance until exit cycle turns
life's candle, merry, sad, at both ends burns.
Uneasy lies clown's head, for tumbling crown
usurped, tossed, lost again, pride's ride must drown.
From crown to downhill flight, from light till dark,
all passes, swift gift over, this too, stark.

Finality

A very short time we are given, to understand the purpose of living,
Our life down here upon the earth; the time between death and birth.
This time is short for you and me, compared to that time of eternity,
A time that we all will enter friend, as life on earth comes to an end.

Men live dealing with life’s reality, not thinking much of life’s finality,
Being caught up in a daily routine, is in many lives a common scene.
Dealing with what comes down the road, always under a heavy load,
Always dealing with here and now, while simply getting by somehow.

Within the brevity of such a life, weighed down with trouble and strife,
We get caught in the daily grind, which takes over our heart and mind,
With no thought and or no time, to think of Heaven or things sublime,
Or even thoughts of what could be, up in that place they call Eternity.

And even if you have thoughts of, God and Heaven and things above,
Friend, do you really understand, the Truth of God’s Sovereign Hand?
And how everything is set in place, for us to just accept God’s Grace.
A Grace that grants you eternal life, through God’s Son, Jesus Christ.

As everything that must be done, has been completed by God’s Son,
And all you must do is to believe, then everlasting life you will receive.
For there is no intermediate place, to barter with God regarding Grace,
While you’re here, in this time, you must give Him your heart and mind.

Finality for believers then becomes, an eternity ahead with God’s Son,
Though life may be short down here, Eternity, you’ll enter with no fear.
But ignoring His Grace does have cost, as you’ll remain eternally lost,
Then finality for you my friend, will be an empty darkness with no end.

Emergency Exits - Acrostic Sonnet

In times of stress essential answers sought
Sudden surface in a subtle way.
Space and time dissolve, or interplay
Unconsciously until the flash is caught.
Enlightenment’s attained. Yet who may thought
Describe, synaptic, instant reflex-play
Embracing every aspect of life’s sway?
Split-second signals sent, received, rewrought,
Expand horizons, energize, consort,
Capture pictures which, translated, grey
Open up, disperse, may drive away.
Unlimited, our scope sets fears to naught.
Rise to each challenge with untrammelled mind,
Soar through massed cloudbanks, darkness leave behind.

All Earthly Things End

All things on earth are but a mist, and every life is upon that list,
As life upon this earth is brief, regardless of your present belief,
Whether ten or a hundred years, truly the end of every life nears,
But, with more, still ahead for all, decided for every human soul.

There is a time beyond this world, a time by God to be unfurled,
When this time will be no more, we’ll be ushered in another door,
Into a new dimension and space, all determined by God’s Grace,
This time on earth has an end, but, time in Eternity all will spend.

Since the earth will be destroyed, Salvation has been employed,
By the very Creator of earth, through Jesus Christ and new birth,
Separation from God, no more, and much ahead will be in store,
For every person in this life, who comes to God, in Jesus Christ.

For all those who want not God, in Heaven above or on this sod,
In the end, they’ll see Him never, as separated from God forever,
Never to be confronted by men, sharing a need to be born again,
Forever completely out of sight, will be all images of God’s light.

Here there’s much to anticipate, as believers for the trumpet wait,
When there will be a convocation, to meet The Lord of Salvation.
Unbelievers too will see their desire, but from in the Lake of Fire,
Unless saved through Calvary, going from death to life Eternally.

Striving For What?

Rivers of people come and go, on roads of life they’ve come to know,
Fully involved in a daily routine, across our land, is a common scene.
Striving daily to make ends meet, in a world that is filled with deceit.
What seems to govern this life, much corruption behind all the strife.

Everything seems to be sold at a price, as was our Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you know a Judas my friend, oblivious to The Lord and the end?
Willing to sell God for some change, in a life that is quite deranged.
It could be one close to your side, with a lingering darkness to hide.

Evil men wax worse and worse, influenced by sin’s dreaded curse,
As seducers continue to deceive, and attack those who truly believe.
All their deceptive practice and ways, bring many trouble filled days.
And all of their deceit in the end, brings undue trial to innocent men.

As soon a quiet everyday life, becomes filled with troublesome strife.
And your peaceful daily routine, becomes a hectic unwanted scene.
The fruit of deceptive schemes, has been the end of many a dreams.
But soon all these men of deceit, will be brought down in total defeat.

But you can transform this life, by walking with the man Jesus Christ.
Christ will give you a new mind, one that will go on through all time.
Accept in your heart Jesus Christ, and Jesus will give you New Life,
Friend, a life of Joy, you will see, as your hope moves on to Eternity.

Present grief will be in the past, as Christ gives you life that will last,
As we leave earth’s river of strife, we’ll see the Eternal River of Life.
No longer a routine of despair, for soon we will be caught in the air,
Where we will meet with The Lord, and live with Christ forevermore.

LOST FOR WORDS

The art of writing's such a sport
with styles of every kind and sort
that not to try would be a tort.
Synaptic leaps can keep, support,
ideas which interlink, report
mind melodies naught need contort
as eyes observant insight court:
imagination is my forte - right!

As interlocking lines of thought
are threaded neatly, tautly brought
to heel, reined in, discreetly taught
to underscore ideas, here’s sought
communication vectors caught
in lightning thought wave flashes short,
coherent, to the point! ... Now ought
I not recall the subject about which I meant to write?

Sere upon the Stem - 0849 - after William Shakespeare Sonnet LXXI

If, reader, brave, your stave taps this grave verse
unable to wave back Death's sable veil,
my phantom name don't pantomime, rehearse,
resign to Time that which beneath blade flail
harvest tithed, foregathered lies. Few wail
when petals fall, few care a tinkers curse
for memories that mattered once. Loves fail
when Winter's chill wind will to dust disperse
sad withered sepals sere upon time's stem.
Where shared chords strung wrung hands and shadowed hearse
mock best laid stratagem of mice and men.
none challenge Time beyond agenda terse.
Stark, poet sought postscriptum post mortem
to hitch starlight which might pitch night condemn.

Clear the Stage

The world was; before mankind was born
and will be when the last mans gone
There will be no left to mourn.
Who will replace us still unknown

It seems that since the world began
Dame Nature tries experiments
the latest of which seems to be man
She has established precedents.

At one time reptiles ruled the earth.
at last ashamed of what she’d wrought.
Great behemoths of giant girth
She wiped them out without a thought.

She cleared the way to try again
With creatures more intelligent
the reptile’s loss the mammals gain.
This seemed to her to represent.

A forward leap towards her goal.
Although she waited patiently
She was convinced that on the whole
too little progress she could see.

She thought maybe that the monkeys
With just a little tinkering
could be persuaded from the trees
The monkeys proved to be willing.

Monkeys evolved slowly into men
and not quite as she meant they should...
Her well laid plans had failed again
At last Dame Nature understood.

Mankind was too belligerent.
Determined to go his own sweet way.
A little too intelligent
he saw no reason to obey.

the rules Dame Nature had laid down
Rebelled against them constantly.
Convinced that he should wear the crown
Until at last reluctantly.

She thought it time to call a halt.
Another failed experiment
some inbred genetic fault.
Rendered them obsolescent.

The human race had reached their peak
and stubbornly refused to change.
Considering themselves unique.
The time had come to re arrange.

the way they thought and urgently.
They’d had their chance but lost their way
Nature reacted ruthlessly
That’s why there are no men today.

The world is peaceful once again
Without the constant battling
between opposing bands of men.
There is no sabre rattling.

I have no doubt she’ll try again
Perhaps next time she’ll get it right
with some new race replacing men
Without the warlike appetite.

The world was before mankind was born
and will be when the last man has gone
their wilfulness not to be borne.
the fault was theirs and theirs alone.

Dame nature warned them frequently
Her warnings they chose to ignore
So full of pride they could not see
That it was time to pay the score.

Extinction is the penalty
which failed experiments must pay.
This is the harsh reality
The race of man has had its day.

The Mystery Of The Four Ages

The Earth's moon and glorious master sun,
from whither is it that they both have come?
Hovering around in the sky during night and day,
how is it that they both have been placed that way?
Playing it seems opposite roles to our mind's eye,
yet shedding light and warmth down from up high.
One is the mere reflection and also shade of the other,
relaying light in degrees for the days of month to cover.
Then disappearing briefly at the end of this cycle
only to appear again looking no more than a trifle.

The moon revolves around the earth
which itself revolves around the sun,
But what does the sun revolve around?

All the heavenly bodies indicate movement and rotation,
this is common knowledge and is based on observation.
There is a cycle that resembles the four seasons of the year
made up of four different ages lasting thousands of years.
Each has an effect on the state and evolution of man's mind,
moving from light to darkness and then back again over time.
Modern science will eventually prove all this one day,
as it gradually moves from darkness to light on its way.
If man's mind is stooped in ignorance and cannot discern the light,
modern science itself is at a standstill; progress is groping for sight.

The four ages are those of Light, Thought, Energy and Matter.
Each one preceeds the other and are all contained in one cycle,
which lasts for about twenty-four thousand of our earth years.

As the sun also revolves around on its orbit in space
it comes closer at times to its orbital centre in place.
This movement resembles a giant ascending and descending arc
in which all the four ages mentioned alternate from light to dark.
Each arc has a lifespan of approximately twelve thousand years
and each arc incorporates the four ages comprising this sphere.
At opposite ends of the sphere the first and last ages are twice their length
moving each from minimum to maximum effect and back again in strength.
Those ages in between have each their duration which should be noted too
playing their roles in this cyclic transition affecting everyone including you.

As each cycle is completed, passing through these four ages,
man's consciousness and history undergo dramatic changes;
one has only to reflect on the rise and fall of past civilisations.

We have just come through a short transitional phase from a long dark age of matter
and are now on the ascending arc early in the electrical age also called that of energy.

Living Life on Earth

Laugh off your troubles all away;
Fears, known / unknown, night and day;
Live with much hope renewed, endless,
Lest turns life’s journey meaningless!

Vices and sin corrupt our life;
Be happy espoused or no wife;
Disease, penury all will strike,
Our earthly life, whenev’r they like.

By birth are we cast onto earth,
Where things perfect remain a dearth;
This world therefore can’t be heaven;
Earth is earth and heaven, Heaven.

Why bother man about stay then?
‘Take life as it comes”- men, women;
There isn’t a common way to live;
Our life’s our wealth that God did give.

Look for the writings on the wall;
We get up after every fall;
There is no time to sulk or muse;
On each depends, life’s use/ mis-use!

Why blame the Potter for the pot?
To be earthen-ware is our lot;
Let us adorn His earthly hall;
He expects not the same from all.

Let us then serve for what we are;
Death lurks so near and yet seems far;
Our duty done to Almighty,
We leave earth for eternity!

Perishing But Renewed

Though by illness my life is rent, I am mindful it's only a tent,
I speak of this body of mine, my temporal body for this time,
Though my outward body perish, my life in God I can cherish,
As inward I'm renewed by God, for life above this earthly sod.

My body may fail on the earth, but, my life is in my New Birth,
Now a member of God's Family, I received promises eternally,
Knowing on earth we all may die, real life starts above the sky,
In a place, prepared by Christ, where we begin our Eternal Life.

Our bodies are temporal friend, for this earthly life has its end,
An end indeed we all will see, and then there will be an eternity,
The end won't be the same for all, as we are under Adam's fall,
And some at their last breath, will see not eternal life but death.

However, in Christ I have hope, when in times it's hard to cope,
As this present cancer impedes, my present life with its needs,
My Lord God is always there, helping with each need and care,
Helping me trust in Him not me, as He prepares me for eternity.

For me there's only eternal gain, but my life He too can sustain,
Extending my life, as a mortal man, if that is within God's Plan,
So He would allow my present life, to continue on with my wife,
That we may both depart together, to live with our Lord forever.

A Question Mark Seldom Sums Sweet Scented Rose

A question mark: love's spark? dark thoughts stark caught?
Quest or request? What wistful vista sketch
Uncertain decks fair face? Has some base wretch
Embarked upon seduction? Is change sought?
Sweet nothings? Transatlantic ticket bought
To guarantee dream destiny, wreath etch
In smiles, not care lines' sybilline twines? Fetch
Overseas another life well wrought?
Naught offers easy answer. Last resort?
Mortar, bricks, altar? Lonesome? Two mast ketch
A-sail upon life's tide? Short haul? Long stretch?
Reward? Loss taught? Eyes tender? taut? distraught?
Knowledge alone in rhyme flows, free verse, prose,
Seldom sums soft glows, sweet scented rose.

Passed By - Acrostic Sonnet

As time drifts by Love’s tide flows coward, cold,
Slow beats sad heart, lost far from dreams once sought.
Too little lust, - blades rust, in cobwebs caught -
In time fires dim which once, in times of old,
Moved untamed ecstasy, flame bold.
Existence paled until encounter brought
Potency restored, fresh friendship taught
A focus fresh, let energies unfold.
Some dreams remain, most vain, in stranglehold
Spirit stifled, struggle not as thought
Experience leaves feelings dulled, distraught,
Dismisses soul from life's bright centrefold.
But chance encounter sets in timeless motion
Yen to advance, to share inspired emotion...

As Time Slips By

As time sleeps by love’s tide grows sluggard, cold,
Slow beats the heart, forgetting dreams once sought.
Then, fragile, faith soon spins its cobwebs - caught
In Time’s equation web. Where once soul bold
Made untamed music, passion dims, short-sold.
Existence pales, stales, fails, - loves tales abort -
Sheds goals, gaols aims at joys ‘chance’ might have brought -
Little cares how life’s tale may unfold.
Inspiration slips as fears take hold,
Plaintive spirit sinks in shell, distraught,
Second hand experiences, thought,
Buy time, dismiss love from life's centrefold.
Yawning the abyss which, biding time,
will swallow every line and every rhyme.

De Profundis

Come let us curse our Master ere we die,
For all our hopes in endless ruin lie.
The good is dead. Let us curse God most High.

Four thousand years of toil and hope and thought
Wherein man laboured upward and still wrought
New worlds and better, Thou hast made as naught.

We built us joyful cities, strong and fair,
Knowledge we sought and gathered wisdom rare.
And all this time you laughed upon our care,

And suddenly the earth grew black with wrong,
Our hope was crushed and silenced was our song,
The heaven grew loud with weeping. Thou art strong.

Come then and curse the Lord. Over the earth
Gross darkness falls, and evil was our birth
And our few happy days of little worth.

Even if it be not all a dream in vain
—The ancient hope that still will rise again—
Of a just God that cares for earthly pain,

Yet far away beyond our labouring night,
He wanders in the depths of endless light,
Singing alone his musics of delight;

Only the far, spent echo of his song
Our dungeons and deep cells can smite along,
And Thou art nearer. Thou art very strong.

O universal strength, I know it well,
It is but froth of folly to rebel;
For thou art Lord and hast the keys of Hell.

Yet I will not bow down to thee nor love thee,
For looking in my own heart I can prove thee,
And know this frail, bruised being is above thee.

Our love, our hope, our thirsting for the right,
Our mercy and long seeking of the light,
Shall we change these for thy relentless might?

Laugh then and slay. Shatter all things of worth,
Heap torment still on torment for thy mirth—
Thou art not Lord while there are Men on earth.

It's My Life

It's funny how I find myself in love with you
If I could buy my reasoning I'd pay to lose
One half won't do
I've asked myself
How much do you commit yourself?
It's my life
Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends
Funny how I blind myself
I never knew
If I was sometimes played upon
Afraid to lose
I'd tell myself what good do you do
Convince myself
It's my life
Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends
I've asked myself
How much do you commit yourself?
It's my life
Don't you forget
Caught in the crowd
It never ends
It's my life
Don't you forget
Caught in the crowd
It never ends

Bee Lines - Revised Version October 2006

Past and Present's argument:
busy bee belligerent
pollen gummy complement
bagged we present, buzzing by.

Season spent, none can prevent
destiny's predicament
when hive honey government
planned obsolescent workers die.

Sediment by sediment,
shows history self-evident,
defines Time's judgement - no postponement,
no atonement, ‘vein' appeals deny.

Inconsequent experiment, -
memory once fulgurant,
lacking, runny, insouciant
semi-senescent, streams awry.

I came, I went - to what intent?
R.I.P. advertisement?
Time's jokes, sad-funny, represent
transient moment's magician fly.

Permanent no monument.
‘Ici gît' lost figurant,
sad or sunny temperament -
No recommencement, - Death draws nigh.

Heaven sent or Hell's descent?
Seeking key see reverent
Christian, Sunni for portent
all-omniscient search the sky.

Sojourn tent is non-event.
Time flies by, moon gib, crescent.
Fame's gin, rummy, trump-trap vent
turns acescent, none know why.

Sentiment harsh, well-meant,
share same sigh, acquiescent,
proud or puny, soon repent,
share same statement - shroud cowed lie.

Cold, confident, or bland, ament,
trembling shy, bold, insolent,
see aims crumbly fade, fragment,
hopes delitescent ossify.

Circumvent predicament?
Though all try - fool and pedant -
jester dummy document,
share passing cry.

Life is lent, fleet fleece rent:
mortality deliquescent,
scoffs at monied supplement -
soon putrescent, low and high.

So, no comment. Evanescent
humanity effervescent,
you and I, represent
torment lament: born to die.

Illumination's Ruminations

Eye humble poet ruminate on Chronos and extrapolate
on quirks coincidence or fate invents to challenge counterfeit
preconceptions, toxic fumes, life rhymes with time until Death looms.
Time's second thoughts themselves consume themselves, upon themselves presume,
set plans o mice and men at naught, time lines taught, frustration fraught
as lender of the last resort whose lease on peace cannot be bought.
Time dominoes in sequency unseen by self-fufficiency,
translating into energy cusp crossroads few feel, fewer key
into to tune to roundabout synaptic, leaping in and out
neuronal pathways that without a doubt most misconceptions flout.

Wit started writ with couplets quaint that simple poets often paint
to speed ideas, draw sinner, saint, but back to drawing-board. Complaint
is respun, spins more complicated thought processes duly weighted,
some bright and airy fabricated from home-truths long anticipated
to see the light of day when called on catalyzing what seemed stalled,
or double walled those half appalled by speculations scarce recalled.

Ideas fan out in rioutous dance whose chants advance as Chance decants
causal cusps sans backward glance defying deterministic stance.
Effective consequences Cause engenders through apparent flaws -
loopholse left in pseudo laws - leave food for thought pursued or pause.
Life's fractal harmony may be perceived expanding constantly
yet most are purblind, fail to see holistic authenticity,
while what seems static, lacking steam, prepares fresh channels for life's dream
to drive horse, cart, through what most deem stable season's reasoned gleam
essential to keep even keel while spin surfing karmic wheel
through stages pre-defined that steal no thunder from the common weal,
that time band, tide's hand, deal, conceal until fate's too late to repeal.

Simplicity in outward form may sometimes mask a perfect storm
that cause, effect conspire to warm when selfdelusions misinform
as much the writer as th reader - both speaker, seeker, - led lead leader,
guiding life's ride till time-wise weeder uproots tradition's strongest cedar.

Mind, stimulated, needs to feed a train of thought outside the tracks
of easy answers' whites and blacks whose monochromatic vision lacks
the wherewithal discernment backs when in betweet line links it tracks,
then spirals out on fractal limbs as sperm, inseminating, swims
towards true goal without which dim prospects of penatrating rim's
resistance, shaking out a leg in headlong rush towards the egg
that home to hive alive should beg his flag in meioitic keg.

Life's questions in its questions lies as much as answers it supplies,
confuting those who think they're wise behind dogmatic force which flies
in smithereens when ripe and rotten, their raison d'etre is forgotten
because of logic ill-begotten, assumptions strong as candy cotton.

True vibrancy must supervise, stay pregnant with its own surprise,
cut preconceptions down to size. No yard-scale ever quantifies
or censors those who fantasize. Conformity disqualifies
most open options. Life must rise to meet new challenge or it dies.
Yet some say Death is but disguise relinquishing all former ties
from which 'spore-radical' it grows renewed with energy that flows
from ground around, above, below, same answers seeking high and low,
forever in a different guise, forever noting how time flies,
here showing signs of compromise, there, fighting tooth and nail, defies
perceived time-traps against which rise emotions that 'self' justifies -
too 'primitive' to recognize evidence of its own demise.

I, humble poet, recognize the fact that one who versifies
through old equations may not rise to prose rose crystal clear - here eyes
observe far more than meet supplies of batons, cone arrays to size
confusing schools refusing school mistinterpreting tight rules,
to flux still subject, led by fools presuming vested int'rest tools
may subjugate the greater fool content to follow fallow rules.
Verse rules are worthy in as much as keeping change in constant touch
with elasticity of thought, veracity that won't be bought,
and ears tuned into the import of experience dearly bought.

Although these lines meander through thoughts' byways adding little new
to sum of sums, some take their cue from will to distill precious dew -
implicit questions overdue for whose horizons curlicue
into a mental cul-de-sac, who can't look forwards, won't look back,
who, superficial, float, and stack the odds against survival, lack
the wish or the ability to challeng sot stability,
through blatant imbecility prefer invisibility
to second sight that would prepare for future gambits though 'a hair
divides the desert from the sown' till climate change to dune unknown
and shifting, tune uplifting grown from fertile interchange no stone
unturned leaves in the search for bone the mind may worry, never thrown
away until the mind has sown a coracle to surf alone
currents mind's wind may have blown to lead towards a speed track shown
to feed felicity unkown to those who chose veils, nails ingrown.

Today... 'The First and Last

Before the creation had taken its place.
Before the beginning of this earthly race.
Before the heavens and the earth came to be.
Before the dawn of human history.

Before the tick of the seconds of time began
Then the Triune God formed salvations plan.
The Son of God at the very beginning stood.
and commenced all of creation by His word.

There is no one to compare with You my Lord
for You forever will be the living Word.
The One Who is the Son of Man walked on earth
Who came to us from heaven by virgin birth.

The Alpha and Omega is First and Last
was at the beginning and will time outlast.
Alive before time and creation began
and when history unfolded became a man.

Each chapter of earth and human history
has been encompassed between eternity.
For the Fathers' Eternally Begotten Son
stands outside of time as the Everlasting One.

The Alpha and Omega, the First and Last
all the years of time within Your hands You grasp.
from everlasting to everlasting the same
The Almighty God Jehovah is Your name.

When time shall cease and the sun no longer rise
When Christ has come with His glory in the skies.
When the ransomed called to reign with Him on high
and with all the angels 'hallelujah' cry.

When all the atomic clocks have ticked their last.
When matter has disappeared into the past.
When the new heaven and earth in sight appears.
There You shall still stand outlasting all the years.

The Eternal God and Everlasting Lord
by heaven and earth and forever adored.
There at Your feet all men shall fall as though dead
before Heaven's King and Everlasting Head.

And there at Your feet I shall willingly fall
before my King of Glory and Lord of All.
And then as I feel the touch of Your right hand
I shall rise up at the sound of Your command.

When the worlds are no more and all time shall cease
there You shall reign and Your kingdom shall increase
and I shall be there gazing into Your face
washed and clothed in righteousness by Your grace.

J' Accuse, ' Of Vice and Men

Of Vice and Men.
Here in my pen,
There is so much to say,
The same old song,
Man's got it wrong,
He cannot find his way.

The Conquering Lie,
Time does defy,
We're all caught in the Web,
No matter how the people try,
They'll never get ahead.

The Tribal Chief,
Promotes our grief,
Democracy defies,
Unjustly does he hide the Truth,
To better, Tyrannize.

Man's History, a mystery,
Of fiction and of lies,
Of Demagogues, and Red-eyed Rouges,
Where Liberty just dies!

Uncivilized, we still remain,
Is war a way of life?
Can Man only perpetuate,
Unhappiness and strife?
It's time to Stop,
War, murder, drop,
The innocent despair,
The Lives are lost,
Dictators, boast,
And who is there to care?

Of Vice and Men,
And Wars and Lies,
There's still so much to say,
We realize, that man just tries,
But Evil has it's way.

Of Vice and Men and Men and mice,
One day we shall recall,
That men were mice,
With so much Vice,
and that finished us All.

Eternity Is Looming

Many people just can't see, the looming Truth of Eternity,
An endless time ahead for all, yes indeed, for every soul,
Every soul upon this earth, is here today, by natural birth,
Here for a time all will die; these are truths you can't deny.

Many don't give a thought, to what choices have wrought,
This, in the light of eternity, or even what life after may be;
Some have bought the lie, live merry for tomorrow we die,
Giving after life not a thought, as God's Truth isn't sought.

Only one life's decreed by God, for beings on earth's sod,
As He Decrees our last breath, the time that we see death,
This encounter will then lead, to Judgment, for all decreed,
Appointed to all by our Creator, Who is also man's Savior.

Time on earth God gives us, so we may seek Christ Jesus,
Who paid the judgment for all, charged on us from the fall,
Reconciling God with men, when in Christ we're born again,
Removing the sting of death, while giving us eternal breath.

You may not believe this friend, as all life on earth will end,
Our soul lives on eternally, but in darkness without Calvary,
Which, gave us Eternal Life, through the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Come to Him before the end; eternity with Him you'll spend.
