The roundness of your eyes is eternity
eternity, if i can just understand what it means?
well should it mean a moment stalled
no forward, no backward, on and on of eternity?
or does it mean a moment
that bounces over and over
with the unfathomable 'no ending'?
how boring it can become if
i do not know how to deal with it
i would prefer the former
especially if i can look into
your ingratiating warm and lovely eyes
bath and luxuriate in them
as time twirls runs round and round
their stunning roundness
losing the grip of its own existence

A Moment in Time
A Time to live,
a time to die,
life is like a vapor
so short and swift.
A blink of an eye
and it is over
a moment in time
you were ten years old.
A moment in time, you
were living so carefree
a moment in time
now your worn out.
From childhood
to adulthood,
only a blink
of an eye.
A moment in time
thinking it would
last for all eternity, just a
vapor before your eyes.
A moment in time
as you look
at your life
of chances you had.
A moment in time
is now ending
as you lay on your
death bed and,
you wonder where
life vanished to
as you close
your eyes in death.
The Miracle of a Moment
A week?
A day?
An hour?
Time enough
For excellence
A moment?
Too little!
Too swift!
Too short!
Too brief!
Not so
Not right
Not true
A moment?
It’s enough!
Pregnant with possibilities
A moment
Overflowing with opportunities
A Moment
Saturated with significance
A moment
Rich with reality
A moment
Bursting with beauty
A moment
Loaded with life
A moment
Encoded with eternity
A moment
Maximize every moment

Sister Sara
Now I don't know but I've been told
There's a nun having fun and she lost her soul
She's got cash, she got laid
Now she's dealin' with me and she's gonna get paid
She got caught with the bishop
She got caught with the abbot
Even cardinal sin tried to feed her habit
Now we get whores and pimps and skanks
But when your judgement came down even
He gave thanks
Whatever happened to me
Can't remember my name
Flying so high on angelic wings
Flew too close to the flame
Sister Sara
It's your penalty for eternity
Did you think that you were saved
You forget your old identity who you used to be
Sister Sara
So depraved
Moment to moment
Hour to hour
We'll be together
Oh, come O ye faithless
Get in line
You're gonna drown in the water
Turned to wine
And you're all going to wallow
When you sin and shame
You had every opportunity to call His name
Don't look surprised
Don't be in shock
You'll be a lovely little demon in my private stock
I'm just doing my job to pull you down
Cuz it's a one way ticket down to Dragontown
You got caught in my web
You made your own bed here
And now you must keep me well fed
You're mine
Too bad
You're here for me
You're just here for me
Sister Sara
It's your penalty for eternity
Did you think that you were saved
You forget your old identity who you used to be
Sister Sara
So depraved
Moment to moment
Hour to hour
We'll be together
Moment to moment
Hour to hour
Forever and ever
Time after time after time
Sister Sara
It's your penalty for eternity

If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful
Each day I live
I want to be
A day to give
The best of me
I'm only one
But not alone
My finest day
Is yet unknown
I broke my heart
Fought every gain
To taste the sweet
I face the pain
I rise and fall
Yet through it all
This much remains
I want one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel
I will feel eternity
I've lived to be
The very best
I want it all
No time for less
I've laid the plans
Now lay the chance
Here in my hands
Give me one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel
I will feel eternity
You're a winner for a lifetime
If you seize that one moment in time
Make it shine
Give me one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will be
I will be
I will be free
I will be
I will be free

Another Language
The whole world is flat
& I am round.
Even women avert their eyes,
& men, embarrassed
by the messy way
that life turns into life,
look away,
forgetting they themselves
were once this roundness
underneath the heart,
this helpless fish
swimming in eternity.
The sound of O,
not the sound of I
embarrasses the world.
My friends, who voluntarily have made
their bodies flat,
their writings flat as grief,
look at me in disbelief.
What is this large unseemly thing-
a pregnant poet?
an enormous walking O?
Oh take all the letters of the alphabet but that!
We speak the Esperanto of the flat!
Condemned to sign
language & silence, pregnant poems
for men to snicker at,
for women to denounce,
I live alone.
My world is round
& bounded by the mountain of my fear;
while all the great geographers agree
the world is flat
& roundness cannot be.

Never in all the years that I am living
Never in all the years that I am living
could I learn to know someone so intimate,
have I been so caught in your love,
did I want to win your heart so desperately;
it's as if I know you from the start of human existence,
as if God has drawn a way for us through eternity,
from the moment when I noticed you for the first time
it's as if you are making me much greater than mere humanity,
as if you are bringing joy for heartaches,
when I awake every morning with greater power
and I know that God Himself is present in your presence
then there is only sunshine in the waiting day
and I wonder why I had to find you after a lifetime
when something so unfathomable strong binds us to each other?

Dream In A Thousand Droplets
Unswerving the water runs over familiar steps
Taking along the energy that filtrates each drop
The water runs over my body creating silver rivulets
Clinging to my skin turning it wet and resilient
Forgotten are time space and all tribulations
There is you and eternity in a timeless existence
I reach and you are there beneath the falls
Time stands still only the moment matters
The language of loving hearts perfumes the air
Etching the scent in every rock and crevasse
I release my hold letting the moment fade
A sense of well being sustains my soul
The sound of a sweet timeless acclamation
Takes me away to a safe place within the realm
Reality calls but repose has sealed my fate.

Til The Season Comes Around Again
til the season comes round again
(john jarvis, randy goodrum)
Come and gather round at the table
In the spirit of family and friends
And well all join hands and remember this moment
til the season comes round again
So let us smile for the picture
And well hold it as long as we can
May it carry us through should we ever get lonely
til the season comes round again
Bridge:
One night, holy and bright
Shining with love from our hearts
By a warm fire lets lift our hands high
And be thankful were here til this time next year
May the new year be blessed with good tidings
til the next time I see you again
If we must say goodbye let the spirit go with you
til the season comes round again
Repeat bridge
May the new year be blessed with good tidings
til the next time I see you again
And well all join hands and remember this moment
And well love and well laugh in the time that we have
til the season comes round again
til the season comes round again

Serenity
Baby
we're not looking for eternity
So smile now
while you're looking for this serenity
He dosses out here in doorways
Caught between wars
Tells us something is coming
won't reveal more
She shuffles up close beside him
And kisses his ear
I guess all our time is running,
Running on fear
And it goes around,
round, around again
Like a magic circle
till it comes to the end
Baby
we're not looking for eternity
So smile now
while you're looking for serenity
Out from the marble palaces
kings and queens Will rejoice
their importance of being
Their importance of choice
And as they swung Mussolini
like a chime in the breeze
The pope blessed his children
in a sea of sleaze
And it comes around,
round, around again
Like a magic circle
till it comes to the end
Baby
we're not looking for eternity
So smile now
while you're looking for serenity
Solo
And It still flowers
in springtime
Dogs howl at the moon
Now the funeral is leaving
to the general's own tune
All the rich and the famous
don't know who I am
The jokers and the jugglers
Even the prince of Siam
And it goes around,
round and round again
Like a magic circle
till it comes to the end
Baby
we're not looking for eternity
yeah, yeah
So smile now
while you're looking for serenity
oh yeah
Baby
a little faith or charity
So smile now
while you're looking for serenity
oh Baby
we're not looking for eternity
Hey,hey yeah
So smile now
while you're looking for eternity
Hey,hey yeah yeah
Baby
a little faith or charity

Love Is Colder Than Death
Love is colder than death, they say
To warm your heart to the bone
Hold me closer, don't dare to speak
For soon my love, I'll be gone
Cherish the moment with me
Love for all
Love for all
All eternity
Go and dance with the moon tonight
The starlight to serenade you
Venus, the goddess of love
Loved for all
Loved for all
All eternity
Loved for all
Loved for all
For all eternity

Kindness
Just one moment is all it took for me
to fall in love forever,
forever and a day.
And what is a moment
in the minutes that you love?
It's as big as an ocean
and the skies up above.
It can be elongated into an eternity
which has no end.
It can consume every breath you take
and can always mend
every separation that eventually
comes along.
Just that one moment is filled with song.
It sings in the heart of me
and fills me with delight.
There's always that one moment
I remember day and night.
A moment of recognition,
a moment of joy
a moment of acceptance
for me to employ
all of my wiles to keep you content,
All of my attempts to keep you spent
as you lay your head upon my breast
and know that we have been so blessed
by just one moment.

Eternity
Into a lifetime of the time[? ]
See flowers bloom then fade to dust
I watch each moment sadly die
Time the[? ] stranger called me here
Fields before me I walk alone
Each tear that falls is lost forever
And this illusion where time has its way
Stripping away the future
People standing still, waiting for a tomorrow that never comes
Eternity, deserting me
While time just passes by
Eternity, deserting me
Time...
Time...
My soul has touched [? ] isolation
The ticking clock of passing time who never stops to see today
Time the[? ] stranger called me here
Fields before me I walk alone
Each tear that falls is lost forever
Eternity, deserting me
While time just passes by
Eternity, deserting me
Eternity, it calls me
While time just passes by
Eternity, deserting me
Time...
Time...

Rejoice
(jon anderson)
Rejoice forward out this feeling
Ten true summers long
We go round and round and round and round
Until we pick it up again
Time flies, on and on it goes
Thru the setting sun
Carry round and round and round and round
Until it comes to carry you home
Rejoice forward out this feeling
The white eagle soars
He goes round and round and round
Until the early winds of change
Dawns new light conquering timeless ease
Spread the harvest breeze
Let our hour of passion
Gently hold our heads on high with you
Gently hold our heads on high

Love justifies the presence of divinity in all that life means, giving it Eternity as an ageless season. You recognize yourself in this eternity as the existence of the other.

Take a Moment
Take a moment
To look into my eyes
Just before you leave
And say your last goodbye.
Take a moment
To hold me one last time
To feel the love we had
The time when you were mine.
Take a moment
To hear the beat of this heart
And know its pain in pleading
That you will not depart.
For this is time suspended
Engraved in eternity
When our Love had ended
And you are gone from me.

Eternity
I, follower of foolish
maker of mistake
stumbler at the gate
Blinded by the night
maker of the left
from the right
I caught the every thing
of eternity
but just not fast enough
Flash - here and gone
for that is all
That eternity is
A moment seized
like air gone
and it flies off forever
And if you are looking
for eternity it has
found you and already fled

Dead Eternity
You'll never be alone again
You'll never die again
You'll never be born again
You'll forever be, stuck here in eternity
I bid you welcome to my world
They call me existence
You have just entered through the gate,
to you journey towards the eternity
This part I control
In the beginning you'll fear nothing
As I climb beside you
time will be your master
in this laborious part of human subsistence
This part I control
Black clouds embraces you soul
Slowly passing through repeating lacunas of anguish
When time takes you life
I will transfer you into the bare grip of thinking tranquillity
Voices frilling the emptiness of the dead floating
Seamless across the surface into chilling stillness
Nothing can help you now
You'll never be alone again
You'll never die again
You'll never be born again
You'll forever be, stuck here in eternity

Chalk White
Pieces of you, spread all over, torn in two
Forward/Backward
Save yourself, from nothing, from no one
Forward/Backward
You better get yourself out of it
You better get yourself ouy of it
You think you're right but it ain't right
You think it's right but it ain't right.
Cease the slide, use the talent god gave you
Forward/backward
You better get yourself out of it
You better get yourself out of it
You think you're right, but it ain't right.
You think it's right, but it ain't right.
