Jingle, Jingle, Nickels in the Pocket
christmas - not always cold and snow
but wont ever be without the nickels
try walking through orchard road singapore
where christmas is the prime draw of the year
walk through any street round the world this season
to feel how drenched you would feel
without the real fuel for life
snow can be of cotton, white rolled papers
mary and jesus cut out painted stereofoam
but xmas will never be without the jingles of the nickels
down and up, up and down the street
everywhere is the reindeer pulling at the sleds
and magnanimous rosy cheeked big belly father christmas
and his bags of presents ever so near, yet so far away
if you do not have the jingles of the nickels in your pockets
everywhere they talk about giving presents, receiving presents
but never will the season be without the nickels in the pockets

Christmas Gifts
Ten Christmas presents standing in a line;
Robert took the bicycle, then there were nine.
Nine Christmas presents ranged in order straight;
Bob took the steam engine, then there were eight.
Eight Christmas presents--and one came from Devon;
Robbie took the jackknife, then there were seven.
Seven Christmas presents direct from St. Nick's;
Bobby took the candy box, then there were six.
Six Christmas presents, one of them alive;
Rob took the puppy dog, then there were five.
Five Christmas presents yet on the floor;
Bobbin took the soldier cap, then there were four.
Four Christmas presents underneath the tree;
Bobbet took the writing desk, then there were three.
Three Christmas presents still in full view;
Robin took the checker board, then there were two.
Two Christmas presents, promising fun,
Bobbles took the picture book, then there was one.
One Christmas present--and now the list is done;
Bobbinet took the sled, and then there were none.
And the same happy child received every toy,
So many nicknames had one little boy.

Father Xmas Song
Father xmas
Will be working all night today
So that he can deliver all the christmas presents on time
To the children and their families
Father xmas
Is living his workshop now
In his reinder to deliver the Christmas presents
To all the houses here at home
Father christmas
Won't have any time to sleep at all
Because all the christmas gifts have to be delivered by christmas
And he has to follow the clause in his contract or otherwise he will get fired
And he could even make the children upset
Because there will be no presents to open at christmas
Father xmas
Goes down through the chimney
And then he comes out in the living room of the houses
Inside of the living room of the houses at christmas time
Father xmas will find the christmas tree decorated and lighted up
Father xmas
Eat his shortbread cookies and drink his glass of milk

Same Old Christmas
Rows of angels in the snow
Hugs and kisses by the mistletow
Sugarplum fairies everywhere
Must be that time of year
Stars that shine on Christmas trees
Smoke that curls from chimneys
Rednose reindeer taking flight
And choir singing O Holy Night
It's the same old
Same old Christmas Eve
It's the same old Christmas Day
It's the same old
Same old Christmas
But I like it
I like it that way
Another snowman with a button nose
Presents all wrapped up in bows
Friends and neighbors knocking at my door
Like every Christmas that's come before
It's the same old
Same old Christmas Eve
It's the same old Christmas Day
It's the same old
Same old Christmas
But I like it
I like it that way
Season's keep on changing
The snow will melt away
But everything will be the same again
Next year on Christmas Day
And I like it
I like it that way
Rows of angels in the snow
Hugs and kisses by the mistletoe
Friends and neighbors knocking at my door
Like every Christmas that's come before
It's the same old
Same old Christmas Eve
It's the same old Christmas Day
It's the same old
Same old Christmas
But I like it
I like it that way

Two For Christmas
Kids all grown and have their own thing
Family too far away...
Just two for Christmas this year
Never been just two
No need for trees and shiny things
Or all the presents and food
Just two for Christmas this year
Never been just two
Quietly to bed on Christmas eve
Wont feed the reindeer this year
Just two for Christmas this year
Never been just two
Strange to wake on Christmas Day
No laughing kids to watch
Just two for Christmas this year
Never been just us two.

Christmas Wishes (written with Chloe Labrie)
For Christmas wishes, I only have one.
I don't want a vacation under the sun.
I don't want the presents under the tree,
I only want you to be with me.
The snow is falling lightly,
And Christmas is coming near,
But I don't want the presents that I may receive.
What would fill my heart with cheer,
Is you just being here.
When our love is matched with Christmas spirit,
There is just no way to cure it.
I don't need any twinkling Christmas lights,
Just you alone makes my holidays bright.
When you come around,
You'll have to keep my feet on the ground.
To make my perfect holiday,
I don't want you to stay away.
Please grant my Christmas wish,
Because you're the only thing on my Christmas list.

Christmas Just Ain't Christmas Without You
Don't you know
It always happens
Same time every year.
Snow flakes and heartaches
And that lonesome Christmas chill
I keep going through emotions
Hiding from the truth (oh yes I do)
Don't you know that Chritmas
Just ain't Christmas without you.
You know Christmas
Hasn't been the same
Since the day you left.
I still send you
Real tight greetings
Hoping someday
You might forget
I try to hold up tradition
Do all the things we used to do (oh yes I do)
But you know that Christmas
Just ain't Chritmas without you.
'Cause all are having Silent night
Memories of how we used to be (yeah)
And all would come back to my world
If you just let Santa bring
Your sweet love home to me.
There's a season
To be happy
But Lord, Lord I feel so blue
'Cause girl Christmas
Just ain't Christmas without you.
(help me...)
--- Instrumental ---
There's a season
To be happy now
But Lord, I feel so blue
Because Christmas
Just ain't Christmas
You know Christmas
Just ain't Christmas
You know Christmas
Just ain't Christmas without you...

Christmas - A Little Friend's Poem - Written By Amy Boothby, aged 10
Are you...........
ready for Christmas? , to decorate the tree,
The sparkling baubles that shine with glee,
The shops are filled with Christmas galore,
But the people are shouting, 'We want more',
Each and every leaf, is covered in snow,
We're still waiting for Santa's Ho! Ho! Ho! ,
The Christmas lights, light up the street,
Presents to open, people to greet,
Look what's under the tall green tree,
Are these presents all for me?

Merry X-mas?
Say Christ at Christmas, men pause, isn’t it about Santa Claus?
Isn’t he that one, who comes, for all of our daughters our sons,
Bringing presents for everyone, creating for us all, holiday fun?
Say that Jesus is the ultimate Gift; simply creates a spiritual rift,
A gift for whom, they may say, even though it is Christmas Day,
Is not Christmas all about toys, for our precious girls and boys?
Mention at all the baby Jesus; they reply, He is not for all of us,
Speaking of Christ, He’s the one, who came down for everyone,
The only Son of The Eternal God, sent from Heaven to this sod.
Speaking of the Man Jesus Christ, you will create political strife,
For we must be politically correct, not to mention at all that sect,
Christ is never to be spoken of, during a season that we all love.
Mention at Christmas the Savior, many don’t believe in a Creator,
Accountability, they have none; they have no regard for His Son,
Christ, being the one they need, Christmas Truth they don’t heed.
Just mention at Christmas Calvary, they say what about the tree?
The one on which He was crucified, when for all, the Savior died?
Even all who’ve yet to believe, yes, God’s Truth they can receive.
Friend, what is the exact reason, we have the Christmas Season?
It’s not for presents, but God’s Son, Who was born for everyone,
And Jesus Christ is His name, Who, well before Christmas came!

Christmas By The Phone
Another year, Another tree
But this year you won't be with me
And it don't, feel much like christmas
We used to watch the same old shows
Sing Social D on the radio
But it don't, feel much like christmas
This used to be, my favourite holiday
My Christmas Eve was filled with dreams
But youchased them all away
[Chorus]
Why did you leave me for Christmas?
You left me lonley its true,
Could you have waited till New Years?
At least the year would be through...
And now the misletoe's hanging
For no reason at all
And all the presents are still wrapped
But you don't even call
I took a walk to where we go
There were lights and there was snow
But it don't feel, much like christmas
And people ask me how you've been
I fake a smile and say ok,
But i don't feel, much like christmas
You used to be, my favourite holiday
But now you're gone, i'm all alone
And all that I can say
[Chorus]
Why did you leave me for Christmas?
You left me lonley its true,
Could you have waited till New Years?
At least the year would be through...
And now the misletoe's hanging
For no reason at all
And all the presents are still wrapped
But you don't even call
Waiting here alone
Christmas by the phone
Waiting here alone
Spending Christmas by the phone...

Christmas Is Coming
Christmas is coming
Yes, it's that time of year
When Jesus was born
May we all standup and cheer
Christmas is coming
To every house and every town
So bring on the smiles
And wipe away those frowns
Christmas is coming
And presents will be all around
Santa will fill childrens dreams
Without ever making a sound
Christmas is coming
May the snow bring you delight
But watch out for those reindeer
If you're out christmas night
Christmas is coming
May your hearts fill with cheer
As you sit back and think
All you've accomplished this past year
Christmas is coming
May that spirit of love never end
As you spend your time
Among your family and friends
Christmas is coming
May all your dreams come true
And now if I might say
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU

Hey Santa
If everyday was christmas
If we could make believe
If everyone would care a little more
Thered be harmoney
The city is covered in snow tonight
The children fast asleep
Im waiting for him, but hes nowhere in sight
And I wonder if he can hear me
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
I wish with all my might
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
Bring my baby home tonight
Why does it feel like its colder than winter
Even by the fireside
My baby said hed be home for christmas
And now its almost midnight
The christmas lights up and down the street
Are such a sight to see
But all the presents by the tree
They dont mean a thing till hes with me
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
I wish with all my might
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
If you hear me wont you hurry
Bring my baby tonight
I know your sleigh is full inside
But wont you stop and give my baby a ride
Ill be waiting by candle light this christmas
The christmas lights up and down the street
Are such a sight to see
But all the presents by the tree
They dont mean a thing
Santa please hear me
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
I wish with all my might
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
If you hear me wont you hurry
Bring my baby tonight
The christmas lights up and down the street
The presents by the tree
I hear a knock, oh can it be?
My wish is staring back at me
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
I guess you heard me tonight
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
Im underneath the mistletoe
With my baby tonight
Sleigh ride...
Its christmas time...

Chorus:
Its christmas in the caribbean
Snowbirds fill the air
Its christmas in the caribbean
Lots of presents everywhere
We dont live in a hurry
Send away for mistletoe
Its christmas in the caribbean
Got everything but snow
Lights are blowing in the palm trees
Stockings hanging from the mast
Santa riding on a dolphin
Dont you want to make it
Dont you want to make it last

Its christmas in the caribbean
Snowbirds fill the air
Its christmas in the caribbean
Lots of presents everywhere
We dont live in a hurry
Send away for mistletoe

Snow?
Suntanned children sleeping
Hoping santa will come true
Christmas morning marlin leaping
Oh its papas birthday
Mister buffetts birthday too!

The Season of Christmas
You hear trees rustle outside in the winter wind
Ornaments cling as you decorate the Christmas tree
Church bells ring as Christmas comes near
The season of Christmas is here
Your family talks while the food is served
Plates clink as they are passed down the table
Teeth chew on the delicious food you made
The season of Christmas is here
Your excitement grows and you rip the wrapping paper
Children laugh as they play with their new presents
The season of Christmas is here
Its time for bed and kids yawn
Toys crash together as they are put away
The season of Christmas was here

When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
Dear Santa,
I live in Hollywood
But it's not like in the movies
Where Christmas is always snowy white
On my list is just one wish
That it would snow tonight
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
You close your eyes
And to your surprise
You see the reindeer fly
As choir's singing
Fa la la la la
Go walking by
You're singing and a ringing right along
With the church bells in the air
It seems so real
That you can feel
The snowflakes in your hair
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
In the morning
When you awake
Your face all shining bright
And when you look outside
You see the palm trees
Dressed in white
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
Dear Santa,
Thank you
Thankyou for that perfect Christmas Day
Gliding down the streets of Hollywood
In a one horse open sleigh
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown

Nickels And Dimes
I used to stand on a corner when i was a child
And i'd play my guitar and sing as the people went by
The sidewalks were crowded but i'd just sing louder cause i didn't mind
Just spending my time, spinning my rhymes and singing for nickels and dimes
Nickels and dimes a song at a time for nickels and dimes
I'd brighten their day as they go on their way and they'd brighten mine
A sidewalk rehearsal for dreams that i held in my mind
I knew that someday in my own special i'd repay all their nickels and dimes
I recall the sidewalk each night as i stand on the stage
As i play my guitar and sing for the people who paid
Cause i finally made it to what they all call the big time
But i still remember i still owe some nickels and dimes
Nickels and dimes a song at a time for nickels and dimes
A sidewalk rehearsal for dreams that i held in my mind
So if you remember a child on the corner of time
You'll know that i wrote this to repay your nickels and dimes
Nickels and dimes a song at a time for nickels and dimes
A sidewalk rehearsal for dreams that i held in my mind
So if you remember a child on a corner of time
You'll know that i wrote this to repay your nickels and dimes
Nickels and dimes a song at a time for nickels and dimes
A sidewalk rehearsal for dreams that i held in my mind
So if you remember a child on a corner of time
You'll know that i wrote this to repay your nickels and dimes

Merry Christmas Santa Happy New Year!
Joys can come in many ways -
Especially on our Christmas Days:
New presents wrapped exquisitely...
New presents unwrapped expertly!
In times like these, the heart beats fast
For Christmas Day has come at last!
Excitement tempts us take a peak!
Remembered lists of gifts we seek!
If only all our days were so:
Season's wishes would overflow!
Look here! Look there! Look everywhere!
Our hopes and dreams fulfilled by prayer!
Visits by friends and folks we love -
Each acting gentle as a dove!
Lights on Christmas trees that cheer!
Yet Christmas joys come ONCE a year!

The Christmas Poem For My Daddy
It was a cold dark night,
And i'm waiting for the snow
I know its nearly christmas
It'll be cold on my toe
I can't wait to see my presents
Stacked high beside the tree
All different shapes and sizes
All for me me ME
I love having christmas dinner
All as one big family
It's only once a year
Let's go decorate the tree
We'll put tinsel all over
And different colored ball's
All sparlky and shiny things
Can't wait till my dad call's
I really love christmas time
For the presents and the gifts
All the cold and frosty air
And the number one Christmas hit
Can't wait for the things im getting
I'll finish here and go to sleep tight
I wish you all a merry christmas
And to you all a very good night.

Alll I Want For Christmas Is You
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true...
All I want for Christmas
Is you...
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you...
You baby
I won't ask for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeer click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
You...
All the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me the one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me
Oh I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just want to see baby
Standing right outside my door
Oh I just want him for my own
