Broomstick Rhythm

As youre sweeping
Autumn leaves up
You are sweeping
My fallen heart up with em
As youre sweeping
Autumn leaves up
You are sweeping
In swish-back broomstick rhythm
Youre dressed in red
Your hair [would had a] brush on fire
To make leaves dress up dead
Ordered to parade
Swayed by broomstick rhythm
Hey!
As youre sweeping
Winter snow up
They have fallen
For you so please forgive em
As youre sweeping
Winter snow up
You are sweeping
In swish-back broomstick rhythm
Youre dressed in white
There is no; why dont we surrender
And in envy of you
Melting drips will rush
Brushed in broomstick rhythm
Hey! hey!
As youre sweeping
Summer dust up
See a squirrel
In homage making rhythms
As youre sweeping
Summer dust up
You are sweeping
In swish-back broomstick rhythm
Youre dressed in blue
The sky and sun a hue more paler
Than the glow in your heart
I bask in your rays
Days of broomstick rhythm
As youre sweeping
Springtime rain up
You are sweeping
My tears up for [i live em / a living? ]
As youre sweeping
Springtime rain up
You are sweeping up
What there remains
Of fears I earn
Upon giving my heart
Away to somebody
For good

Chained and Dragged Away

Leave them to lay in the shadows.
To pollute in soot.
As the belching smoke...
From the bellowing choking chimneys,
Keep them locked in a shock that stuns!

What is being incinerated?
No one knows.
But the smell of it is sweet.
It grows...
Pungent!
And knocks people to their feet.

Some are being chained and dragged away.
But to where?
Few are caring.
While others just run...
Escaping as they flee!
But to where?

'Over there!
Hovering in the air?
What gigantic monstrous 'thing' is that?
Huge in dimension...
And taking many up into it!
With a sweeping that does not attack!
What on Earth is that? '

Oh that?
That's the re-indoctrination ship,
Orion!
That's the smaller one!
See the larger ones above it?
Some depart for Saturn.
The others for Jupiter and Her Moons.
You are going to love Titan!
And adore its vistas,
With such beauty that looms!

Fisherman’s Sin

A deadly sin defies and disagrees, you are disallowed,
Forces of potions are a secret for talking evil aloud.
Then premises of good are able to pay sacrifice
To clouds all-sacred, too powerful and concise.
May definite devices have advice with fore-knowledge,
Hindsight is acceptable and too worthy an advantage
Without us, within us as soot and chimneys,
Their wisdom is of soot and blackness and abbeys.
Sin shall stay forcefully, it is health-preserving and my
Happiness fixes fishing of flesh by the boats of a butterfly.

Katherine Mansfield

Out in the Garden

Out in the garden,
Out in the windy, swinging dark,
Under the trees and over the flower-beds,
Over the grass and under the hedge border,
Someone is sweeping, sweeping,
Some old gardener.
Out in the windy, swinging dark,
Someone is secretly putting in order,
Someone is creeping, creeping.

Named By Memory!

they laugh at me
for talking to turtles...
ah, but they tell me
secrets i cannot reveal!
i discovered infinity
as i was sweeping,
between the cracks in the pavement,
just out of the reach of my broom.
the spider came every night
for a week, weaving it's gigantic web.
now all that's left in it's absence...
a hole in my thoughts,
named by memory!

Spring Cleaning Day

Spring Cleaning Day*

The strain of a deep winter's frost

Has taken it's toll and I've paid the cost

Layers of loam, dust and grime

Have collected and built up over time

Spring now arrives, newness begins

But my windowed soul is still in a spin

Try as I must to chisel away

The soot on my soul for it's spring cleaning day
