Divine Plans
we will never ever understand god
his plans are played out
day after day like a song
in the layout of buildings
in the nuances of nature
yet we are not able to interprete
the finer parts of them
they are shrouded as heaven's will
- the fowl that comes ever
closer as you sharpen
the knife for its neck

The Woman In You
The woman in you brings out
the man in me
It's the woman in you
And the finer parts of your anatomy
But baby sharper than a knife
help me to know you
Show me the night to satisfy
A sinner with the flash of an eye
There'll never be another me
I never knew love could wind me up
I don't do my stuff
"till you go walkin' by
And maybe old enough to try
I never knew anyone in between
The devil and the angel
All in one and maybe old
Enough that I can ride
Your love let me burn
Let me slide down to your soul
You can pull me in
You can push me out
But your baby needs love
Somebody to hold
show me what to do
The woman in you brings out
the man in me
It's the woman in you
And the finer parts of your anatomy
But baby

Closer To Heaven
Never been closer to heaven
Never been further away
Never been closer to heaven
Never been further away
Give me hope
Give me all your love
Tell me now
Youre coming home tonight
Have some faith
In the love we share
Is it fate
Does darkness end in light
Never been closer to heaven
Never been further away
Never been closer to heaven
Never been further away
Whered you go
Did you loose your way
Tell me now youre coming back to stay
In my hopes
Paradise is real
Horoscopes
Cant forecast how well feel
Never been closer to heaven
Never been further away
Never been closer to heaven
Never been further away
Give me hope
Give me hope
Never been closer to heaven
Never been further away
Never been closer to heaven
Never been further away
Give me hope
Give me hope

The past is still visible. The buildings haven't changed, the layout of the streets hasn't changed. So memory is very available to me as I walk around.

When I want to render these fine nuances, I do not find them in the subject, but in the nature of women in real life who seek unhealthy emotions and are too stupid even to understand the horror in the most appalling situations.

With each of those projects I wasn't thinking about how the layout would really affect the story I was working on - it wasn't the content that was affecting the layout, it was, how I wanted to draw at that point in time.

Finer Feelings
Written: stock waterman
The finer feelings, the finer feelings
1a:
You cant give to me
Anything
I couldnt get for myself
I have needs as much as any man
And I understand the feelings well
1b:
I can still have a true heart
With a free mind
A good life
With a good time
Chorus:
But what is love
Without the finer feelings
Its just sex
Without the sexual healing
Passion dies
Without some tender meanings
It aint love
Without the finer feelings
2:
I get passionate
Just like you
But I have a little self-control
You just show your selfish attitude
Your emotion leaves me cold
1b:
Chorus:
Bridge:
The finer, the finer
The finer feelings
3:
(I can still have a true heart) it aint love
(with a free mind) it aint love
(a good life)
(with a good time) feelings
Chorus:
(repeat & fade)

Move Closer
Hey' baby
You go your way
And I'll go mine
But in the meantime
Move closer
When we're together
Touching each other
And our bodies
Do what we feel
When we're dancing
Smooching and swaying
Tender love song
Softly playing
Move closer (move closer)
Move your body' real close until we
Feel like we're making love
Get closer
So when I say sugar
And I whisper i love vou (I love you)
Well I know you're gonna answer
in the sweetest voice yeah my sexy baby
I love you too
There's much room for passion, oh no, no
There no room for fears
When the love flows smoothly between us
my dear
Oh move closer baby
Come here girl
Let me hold you
You feel so good to me woman
Move closer) Let's get closer
(Let's get closer) Gonna make sweet love to you
Honey get beside me
And let me love you
My baby, baby, baby
I love you
So baby won't yoy
Move closer (move closer)
Why don't you move your body real close
Until we feeI like we're really' making sweet, sweet,
sweet, sweet, sweet love
Move closer (move closer)
So why don't you take me to heaven
Oh baby, to heaven, yeah
Let's take our time and do it right
Be going all night, yeah
It's gonna be a long night

Closer To Heaven
(lead vocal - eric woolfson)
Rising and falling lighter than air
Silently calling no one is there
Oh, bird that is flying so high and so free
Closer to heaven than you and me
Voices of strangers keep me from sleep
Guardian angels watch over the deep
A ship that is sailing way out to the sea
Closer to heaven than you and me
Visions of rain fall out of blue skies
Rivers of tears fall out of dry eyes
Answer my question tell me no lies
Is this the real world or a fools paradise?
Wind that is blowing so wild and so free
Closer to heaven than you and me
Closer to heaven longing to be
Closer to heaven than you and me
Visions of rain fall out of blue skies
Rivers of tears fall out of dry eyes
Answer my question tell me no lies
Is this the real world or a fools paradise?
Love that lies sleeping wakes in the night
Secrets for keeping that wont see the light
I look to the future and I hope it will be
Closer to heaven than you and me
Closer to heaven longing to be
Closer to heaven than you and me

Heaven Gets Closer Every Day
I was talking to barry who says theres a change in the air
Hes just found a magic kite that can fly him anywhere
He leans on his window as the trash daytime radio plays
Hes got all the shelter he needs, and heaven gets closer everyday
I got a postcard from mandy; the farmers are bringing in the hay
Our friends will be home in the morning, and heaven gets closer... everyday
We dont think too much about a crisis in the west
Because it couldnt happen here again and anyway; all men are equally blessed
They say a war is coming but it all seems so far away
Because where we live the sun shines, and heaven gets closer everyday
I got a postcard from mandy; the farmers are bringing in the hay
Our friends will be home in the morning, and heaven gets closer... everyday
I got a letter from london; tanks are rolling over the hay
Soldiers will be here in the morning, and heaven gets closer...

Neck On Up
I gave the girls the eye
Ive given lust a try
Im just an average guy
From the neck on down
I used to have my fun
When all was said and done
I only wanted someone
From the neck on down
Maybe its one too many mornings after
Maybe Im sick of my own nervous laughter
Now Im looking for heaven
From the neck on up
For a perfect eleven
From the neck on up
I was a typical man
I had a master plan
I thought that heaven began
From the waist on down
And I had always said
That I could use my head
But I was thinking instead
From the waist on down
Maybe its one too many frozen shoulders or
Maybe I havent noticed getting older
Trapped in a dream
Something has to change in this endless stream
Of ships that pass in the night
Is this what I want out of life?
I want to know what this game is about
I want someone to try and figure me out
I cant determine why
But Im a different guy
Your modus operandi
Turned me inside out
Its not that I dont care
About your fine hardware
But youve got something else there
I cant figure out
Maybe I just cant finish what Ive started or
Maybe its simply that Ive been outsmarted
Now Ive found my heaven
From the neck on up
Youre a perfect eleven
From the neck on up

By The Fireside : The Open Window
The old house by the lindens
Stood silent in the shade,
And on the gravelled pathway
The light and shadow played.
I saw the nursery windows
Wide open to the air;
But the faces of the children,
They were no longer there.
The large Newfoundland house-dog
Was standing by the door;
He looked for his little playmates,
Who would return no more.
They walked not under the lindens,
They played not in the hall;
But shadow, and silence, and sadness
Were hanging over all.
The birds sang in the branches,
With sweet, familiar tone;
But the voices of the children
Will be heard in dreams alone!
And the boy that walked beside me,
He could not understand
Why closer in mine, ah! closer,
I pressed his warm, soft hand!

Branch
the woodpecker is so much fun
the parakeet is so much fun
the swallow is so much fun
they are all trying out their
primary environment with all
its natural endowments,
sounds, privilege of flights
their phsique is a tip top
musical wonder each finds out
echoing by the greater self
shrouded in another sphere
i am so much fun
i dont know every of these
god given parts, trying out
a few, guessing here and there
hoping this is this and that is that
a chirp here, a chirp there
a prayer here, a prayer there
wishing things would solve by themselves
i am a soul with little knowledge
of these god given body parts
trying out a few and learning
something out of them
a bird in a primordial jungle
a fish in an ocean of wants
slowly learning to adapt to
its every cell, in blood, in flesh
revealed in sights, in sounds
echoed in so many realms
nature trying to find a step
in one of its other branches

The artist is the confidant of nature, flowers carry on dialogues with him through the graceful bending of their stems and the harmoniously tinted nuances of their blossoms. Every flower has a cordial word which nature directs towards him.

Knife Party
My knife - its sharp and chrome
Come see inside my bones
All of the fiends are on the block
Im the new king, Ill take the queen
cause in here were all anemic
In here - anemic and sweet...so...
Go get your knife, go get your knife
And come in
Go get your knife, go get your knife
And lay down
Go get your knife, go get your knife
Now kiss me
Oooh...well I can float here forever
In this room we cant touch the floor
In here were all anemic
In here - anemic and sweet...so...
Go get your knife, go get your knife
And come in
Go get your knife, go get your knife
And lay down
Go get your knife, go get your knife
Now kiss me
Ohh... I could float here forever
Ohh... anemic and sweet
Ohh... I could float here forever
Ohh... anemic and sweet...so...
Go get your knife, go get your knife
And come in
Go get your knife, go get your knife
And lay down
Go get your knife, go get your knife
Get filthy
Go get your knife, go get your knife
And kiss me...

Why This Song
Why this song, filled with laughter and hope,
Why should it be loved and while a dope,
Why should it be played on the top,
Why should I listen why should I love.
It is played silently and you listen,
It is closer heard as chosen,
It is much louder when open,
It is I listening, it is I loving.
It is there when called,
It is here when drowned,
It is there when cried,
It is here when afraid.
Why should I love, why should I Listen.

Up To My Neck In You
Well Ive been up to my neck in trouble
Up to my neck in strife
Up to my neck in misery
For most of my life
Ive been a fool
And you know what a fool can do
Im telling you
You came along when I needed you
Now Im up, Im up to my neck in you
And Ive been up to my neck in pleasure
Up to my neck in pain
Ive been up to my neck on the railroad track
Waitin for the train
To cruise on through
Well baby my time is due
Oh its way overdue
You came along and you pulled me through
Now Im up, up to my neck in you
Well Ive been up to my neck in whiskey
Ive been up to my neck in wine
Ive been up to my neck in wishing
That this neck wasnt mine
I was a loser
You werent lost
Baby you were too good, too good to be true
What youve got no one else could do
Now Im up, Im up to my neck in you
Yeah you came along when I needed you
Oh Im up to my neck in you
