After I prayed for the animals
poor creatures
always at the receiving
end of cruelties
the night i prayed for the
world's animals
that they would be delivered
from extinction, human iniquities
a bird of paradise flew into my dream
she came so near as if we were friends
and then i knew my prayers have
entered the realm of God and has been heard
he even sent the bird from paradise
flying straight to me, coming so close
eyes staring into my face

For Human Greed
We may as well try to find another Planet to live on
Since people they cannot live on the Moon
And Mother Earth the Planet that sustains us
We in our fits of madness choose to ruin.
And perhaps there's not another Planet out there
For human beings to live on and destroy
'Twould seem indeed that the price of human progress
Comes at a cost and the cost seems far too high.
Each day more creatures of extinction endangered
When the land they live on we choose to invade
And extinction sad to say it is forever
For human greed the price has to be paid.
We are paving the way to our own extinction
Where humans live pollution becomes rife
The World will not end with the death of the last human
And Nature will do nicely without human life.
We had better find another Planet to live on
Or become extinct as a species that's our choice
As we are making the Planet we live on for us quite unlivable
For human greed that seems too high a price.

Due To Our Lust For Money
The beauty of Nature for all to enjoy
Yet a beauty some people are happy to destroy
Due to this need that is in us for financial gain
Our craving for material success beyond me to explain.
For to build a new factory in the industrial side of the town
Twenty five mature monterey pine trees were cut down
Their cone seeds a food source for yellow tail black cockatoos
Due to our greed for money the birds have to lose.
The World we live in with others we do share
But due to habitat destruction some species of birds and animals rare
The pathway to extinction for them we create
This is not an achievement for to celebrate.
Like her Seasons to life we come to and from go
Yet so little about Nature we can claim to know
Due to our lust for money born of our human greed
For protection from extinction many creatures in need.

We Do Not Own Nature
Of Nature's ways we will never be aware
If the World with her creatures we do not wish to share
We dispossess the birds and animals when we cut their trees down
To make more room for development on the outskirts of town
Despite the discovery of cloning and the advanced science of today
Extinction is forever and will remain that way
Human tampering with Nature is not a good thing
And the praises of such I for one cannot sing
Genetic modification of crops and the cloning of life forms should never take place
Human tampering with Nature is humanity's disgrace
Though many with what I say may well disagree
Leave Nature to Nature that's how it should be
We do not own Nature to her we belong
And if you feel differently you've got it wrong.

Five Creatures In The Sky
In the end five creatures cycled around the sky,
In the sky there were bird-animals ready to drop
On unsuspecting prey.
It was to make an example of them,
Opening the books of freedom, and freeing them.
A sure fine custom of tasting the very best of those on land,
Wrecks found at last stayed on the ground
And were caught with talons
And hauled through the air like dinner was!
The end was for them, the beginning of a treat
For the bird-animals.

If I Prayed For You... (I Just Did)
if i prayed for you,
with the eyes of a child,
beaten, bruised, and hungry...
would you see, would you know?
if i prayed for you,
with an old man's hands,
hard, calloused, and gentle...
would you feel, would you know?
if i prayed for you,
with a mother's tears,
her daughter raped by your soldiers...
would you change, would you know?
if i prayed for you,
with a homeless man's heart,
a human story untold...
would you care, would you know?
if i prayed for you,
with a farmer's faith,
plowing and planting unseen...
would you believe, would you know?
if i prayed for you,
from a soldier's conviction,
who laid down his guns and walked away...
would you be inspired, would you know?
if i prayed for you,
with a real doctor's conscience,
who made his life's work for the poor...
would you love, would you know?
if i prayed for you,
with the protester's courage,
beaten and arrested for the truth...
would you live, would you know?
if i prayed for you,
from the heart of god,
revealing holy desire....
hey, i just did!

Out There In Nature's Wild Kingdom
Out there in Nature's wild kingdom the struggle is for to survive
And the strongest and the fittest can only hope to thrive
In a time of Global warming chances of extinction multiply
And people as well as all of life endangered as the Planet becomes more dry,
Out there in Nature's wild kingdom by men one more wood is cut down
For to build a new housing estate on the verge of the town
Habitat destruction a huge threat to wildlife
In a World where human greed is becoming more rife
Out there amongst Nature birds and beasts of prey
The creatures of night and the creatures of day
Must kill for to eat such is life one might say
Survival of the fittest that is Nature's way
And out there in Nature's kingdom the fittest survive
And most creatures must struggle just to stay alive.

Animals
I know what I need I need you
I cant see nothin else all I can see is you
I dont care what they say about my state of mind
I know whats good for me and you are just my kind
We are animals we are animals we are animals we are animals
I know what I want I want you
Shed your cloths forget your codes
You know this is nothing new
I smell your scent I taste your sweat
I feel this passion too
Lets trust our senses not our minds
Lets break all the rules
We are animals we are animals
We are animals we are animals
We are animals
We are animals
Come with me run with me leave this world behind
Come to me come with me I know that we will find
We are animals we are animals
We are animals we are animals
We are animals
We are animals

In Karma The Price We Must Pay
Birds and arboreal animals need every bush and tree
When their homes are destroyed by humans they must fight for a new territory
And if in securing new homes they are unsuccessful they become homeless and slowly die
I speak a fact of Nature and Nature does not lie.
The wildlife where trees are removed must search for homes elsewhere
Others they must try for to dispossess one reason wild creatures are becoming rare
Is that their habitat is being destroyed due to human financial greed
That the root cause of species extinction leads to human kind is so sad to say indeed.
Humans wage war on their own kind and war on Nature as well
How this will affect future generations of humans only time alone will tell
That what we do to Nature to our own selves we do is true
Since from her we will receive the Karma the Karma we are due.
Birds and arboreal animals need trees to live on and when their trees are cut away
They will have to fight for homes elsewhere since where they are they cannot stay
What goes around always comes around as some do like to say
And for our abuse of Nature in Karma the price we must pay.

Morse Moose & The Grey Goose
Right on down at the bottom of the sea
Tell me are you receiving me?
My name is morse moose and Im calling you
The grey goose was a steady boat
People said shes never float
One night when the moon was high
The grey goose flew away
As we were sailing round the rocks
The mate took out his compass box
And said the wind is like a fox
But the grey goose flew away
When out upon the open sea
The admiral, the mate and me
Prepared to face eternity
But the grey goose flew away
She flew into the stormy sea
Davy jones was calling me
But heading for tranquility
The grey goose flew away

True or false
Really animals do have it made.
Feeding them comes directly from God.
With us(people being the middle men)
Now give that a twist or two in your head.
People are always complaining
Never really wanting to compromise
And they pet themselves on the back
And that they are wise...?
I wonder what a birds eye view would be...
Let me see, says the bird:
'After hearing people feeling sorry for themselves
Whenever I am in ear shot..
Some how that just thicking's the human plot,
The humans have and have and not's.
After work they made go lay in the shade
Bitching: (is when one person can't seem to share with the other
Person.
But yet and still animals are fed.
...can people say that much of themselves?
Yet I am a bird and I share what I can.
And may just wake up some day as someone's
Oooo, La, la!
Look at her driving that big car,
While people in a distance place who can't really get to far
Draught is not as catching to all
Nor does it has sex appeal.
Look at him drinking his coffee everyday
While plotting on a friend or two...during his day
Killing each other for sport, fun, anger and whatever else
People deem that is correct.
Really we animals are dumb...
But damn!
Check where the human's are coming from.
I've heard a human speak of someone in passing
A jack and a Jill...how they both rolled down a hill?
Now most human children grow up and kill.
Just a birds luck...

The Ballad of God-Makers
A bird flew out at the break of day
From the nest where it had curled,
And ere the eve the bird had set
Fear on the kings of the world.
The first tree it lit upon
Was green with leaves unshed;
The second tree it lit upon
Was red with apples red;
The third tree it lit upon
Was barren and was brown,
Save for a dead man nailed thereon
On a hill above a town.
That night the kings of the earth were gay
And filled the cup and can;
Last night the kings of the earth were chill
For dread of a naked man.
‘If he speak two more words,' they said,
‘The slave is more than the free;
If he speak three more words,' they said,
‘The stars are under the sea.'
Said the King of the East to the King of the West,
I wot his frown was set,
‘Lo, let us slay him and make him as dung,
It is well that the world forget.'
Said the King of the West to the King of the East,
I wot his smile was dread,
‘Nay, let us slay him and make him a god,
It is well that our god be dead.'
They set the young man on a hill,
They nailed him to a rod;
And there in darkness and in blood
They made themselves a god.
And the mightiest word was left unsaid,
And the world had never a mark,
And the strongest man of the sons of men
Went dumb into the dark.
Then hymns and harps of praise they brought,
Incense and gold and myrrh,
And they thronged above the seraphim,
The poor dead carpenter.
‘Thou art the prince of all,' they sang,
‘Ocean and earth and air.'
Then the bird flew on to the cruel cross,
And hid in the dead man's hair.
‘Thou art the son of the world.' they cried, `
‘Speak if our prayers be heard.'
And the brown bird stirred in the dead man's hair
And it seemed that the dead man stirred.
Then a shriek went up like the world's last cry
From all nations under heaven,
And a master fell before a slave
And begged to be forgiven.
They cowered, for dread in his wakened eyes
The ancient wrath to see;
And a bird flew out of the dead Christ's hair,
And lit on a lemon tree.

If I Prayed with You
if i prayed with you
meshed together by the naked night
molten images of human groaning
lit by the very breath of God...
if i prayed with you
turning slowly on the spit
beneath the shadows we wear in darkness
and wrap our light inside...
if i prayed with you
nothing hidden, nothing faked
and stroked your face with knowing hands
as if the Painter's brush....
if i prayed with you
and was lost inside your hungry mouth...
would you dance with me inside
the meaning beyond our words?
if i prayed with you...

India- The paradise on Earth
India is the paradise on earth
I admire you the beauty of nature,
As you have created such beautiful creatures
The beautiful sight, the aromatic flowers,
The magnificent animals, and the colourful birds,
To give us courage, will and guts.
Our culture is the most popular one in the world
Every creature in this world appreciate India's culture.
Many foreigners come to India to marry, celebrate festivals
In the small villages, cities and towns.
They never forget it till they wear life's crown
Because India is the paradise on Earth.
Many Gods and Goddesses have incarnated in every eras in India
To rescue the world from destruction
He has fought and taken action
To destroy the destroyer
And to end the danger.
The people of India has made temples in the memory of unforgotable ancestors.
When the visitors visit those famous shrines,
They wash out all their crimes
Because India is the paradise on Earth.

Extinction Blues
World of fear
Dying sun
Amber tears
Wars to be won
World grown old
Lost to man
All alone
All but forgotten
Same extinction blues
Youve heard before the
Same old news
You and i
Last chance
Age of ice
Frozen romance
Time repeats
Death to life
Heartbeats
Save us tonight
Same extinction blues
Its great to be optimistic
And look at the world
Through rose colored eyes
Tell you what not to wish for
Mountains dont move
When you want them to
Same extinction blues
Youve heard before
The same old news
Extinction blues

Bird Watching
Bird Watching
Two sparrows, on roof of my car, noisily chirped, five
more sparrows came, tweeted too and showed no debate
culture, then they flew off and left the couple to it.
One, the male, I think, flew off and left, I assume, her
alone; not for long, he came back peeped and left again;
did this three times, finally she flew off with him, but
she deeply sighed. A drama had passed, that I had seen
and judged with a human’s limited understanding of
the life of other spices. Bird dropping on the car roof,
I had witnessed a love story, good as any seen on TV,
and as afternoon soaps must, had ended blissfully.

Robin's Mistake
What do you think Red Robin
Found by a mow of hay?
Why, a flask brimful of liquor,
That the mowers brought that day
To slake their thirst in the hayfield.
And Robin he shook his head:
'Now, I wonder what they call it,
And how it tastes?' he said.
'I have seen the mowers drink it-
Why isn't it good for me?
So I'll just draw out the stopper
And get at the stuff, and see!'
But alas! for the curious Robin,
One draught, and he burned his throat
From his bill to his poor crop's lining,
And he could not utter a note.
And his head grew light and dizzy,
And he staggered left and right,
Tipped over the flask of brandy,
And spilled it, every mite.
But after awhile he sobered,
And quietly flew away,
And he never has tasted liquor,
Or touched it, since that day.
But I heard him say to his kindred.
In the course of a friendly chat,
'These men think they are above us,
Yet they drink such stuff as that!
Oh, the poor degraded creatures!
I am glad I am only a bird!'
Then he flew up over the meadow,
And that was all I heard.

Creatures Of Love
A woman made a man
A man he made a house
And when they lay together
Little creatures all come out
Well, Ive seen sex and I think its alright
It makes those little creatures come to life
I can laugh or I can turn away
Well, Ive seen sex and I think its okay
We are creatures, creatures of love
We are creatures, creatures of love
From the sleep of reason, a life is born
We are creatures, creatures of love
Its okay to be afraid
When the blue sparks hit your brain
We can love one another
Ive been told that its okay
Doctor, doctor, tell me what I am
Am I one of those human beings
Well I can laugh or I can learn to think
So help me now to find out what I feel
We are creatures, creatures of love
We are creatures, creatures of love
Weve been here forever, before you were born
We are creatures of love, we are creatures of love
A man can drive his car
And a woman can be a boss
Im a monkey and a flower
Im everything at once
Well, a woman and a man can be together
If they decide to theyll make little creatures
Watch em now!
Little creature of love
With two arms and two legs
From a moment of passion
Now they cover the bed
We are creatures of love, we are creatures of love
We are creatures, creatures of love
We are creatures, creatures of love
From the sleep of reason, a life is born
We are creatures of love, we are creatures of love
