A distant universe

dark as cave
we walk inside
yet is outside

there is a man
spiritual they say
filling the cave with
his chants

you walk the
lighted lane
they call common
sense

the darkness
holds over you
like a distant
universe, a
boundless part
you fear to tread

it exists like the
unreachable stars
so far away you never
even give it a thought

day after day
we walk the lane
a corner of the great cave
waiting for the man
to come out to light things up
with his halo and
enlightenment

there is a
distant universe
in the space of our brain
we all fear to tread
we walk inside
yet are all outside
a physique that helps
map every step we take
this cave that is all God
inside and outside

Inside The Cave

we are witness to the shadows in the cave.
Not to be mislead we touch each others' hands.
When we open our eyes we become more confused.
There are more shadows born when we begin to speak.

We are always patient. We imagine soon, always, the
soon in the shadows. Light created more shadows.
We fear it sometimes. We begin to mistrust it.

We are still inside this cave with all the shadows
of ourselves. We do not like to move, we are mocked
We are imitated by our shadows inside the cave.

Tomorrow is the exit. We become friends of the Light.
Then we become free.

Taking a Walk on Memory Lane

Taking a walk on memory lane
isn’t all that gray.
Taking a walk on memory lane
I see the sunrays.

Taking a walk on memory lane
isn’t all full of tears.
Taking a walk on memory lane
I have no fear.

Taking a walk on memory lane
not a dropp of rain in sight.
Taking a walk on memory lane
Every thing is alright.

Taking a walk on memory lane
is where I want you to come along.
Taking a walk on memory lane
is where we belong all lifelong.

Cave Men

still at the cave of existence
we plod on with our breaths
our intelligence

we call the cavemen names
the peking man, the perak man
what would the world label us
say in the same number of years
between us and the peking man?

man in the cave of universe
hogging on to a physique they
could not even get to really own?
disceptions at every end of the hair
burning the fire of disappointments?

what would you call them? Us?
the Trapped men, may be?
trapped in the cave of their own existence
- this physique that can be refashioned
to carry nothing but us

i fancy living without the bothersome
constituent and time has the technology to
help us make the switch

fancy us greeting each other
turning round and round in space
as we transfer our nature into
the sun, moon, earth and everything
that springs from it

Dreams

Through the misty swirls of broken thoughts
I passed the waterfalls you named unshed tears
And saw the single ray of hope
Piercing through the shadows of dark
I walk through dreams that are still yours
Fear not, for I tread softly still

Through the fantasy in your mind
I slayed the monster you named hate
With the sword of eternal light
Forged in the fires of pure love
I walk through dreams that are still yours
Fear not, for I tread softly still

Through the kaleidoscope of feelings
I saw the colors you named emotions
Mysterious black of unknown depth
And piercing blue of tranquility
I walk through dreams that are still yours
Fear not, for I tread softly still

Through the plush grass of emerald green
I ran through the field that you named peace
And heard the distant roar of freedom
Followed by the hush of calm
I walk through dreams that are still yours
Fear not, for I tread softly still

Your Cave Of Love

Let me spend te night in your cave of love,
And let me walk through your folding doors;
For i am like a tree floating along the direction of the river of love,
And like the joy of your muse in the time of romance.

Of the words you do speak in your bedroom,
And of the aroma in your cave of love;
So let me surround your city of love with my care,
Because, there is real peace in your dark cave!

Step Inside

Harrys on the run, hes got good reason
Since he bought a gun, hell never sleep again
Widow sleeps alone, she never shuts her window
Mandy knows whats fun, she just dont know whats right
Come on, step inside
Come on, step inside, dont walk on by
Step inside
Come on, step inside
Sequins on his shirt, stevies up for dancing
Always been a flirt, carol steps in line
History to the bone, memory to the marrow
Old an weary man, treads a travelled road
Come on, step inside
Come on, step inside, dont walk on by
Step inside
Come on, step inside
Standing in the sun, trolling cold maria
A hare krishna drum sounds distantly in time
The blood comes off like grime, in the wash hand basin
Just another crime, reason with her
Step inside
Come on, step inside, donmt walk on by
Step inside
Come on, step inside, dont walk on by
Step inside
Come on, step inside

Ruminations

If there were a cave
That I could wander into
I'd shout your name inside of it
And hear the echo of you.

To have it reverberate loudly
Might drown out my pain,
Pierce my ears, trouble my head
Where thoughts of you remain.

And as it bounced around inside
I'd welcome the chill of the cave.
For I'd know that as I exited it
Maybe my heart could behave.

For I'd find my heart is hollow
Like the cave I'd just been in.
And I'd feel the icy chill again
For your touch is absent from my skin.

of Phobias

Are you that person whom when you walk,
to whom you talk and coming I am, independently?
Whereof the road where you are dark walking
and talking you passing by me in the park.
You by your thoughts then start changing.
And as for me, me for as when, you.
When you have occasion and strange is that,
what you feel a little slower you walk it is dark.
Worry naught of fear, fear of the darkness,
when as for you it is fear, fear of me, fear of the darkness.
Whether the night brings you fear of the darkness,
and fear of the darkness I am coming to soon, I am there waiting.
Someones fear, fear of it fixating upon you.
I whom always it is, must posses.
Someone shakes one finger deep under the wall.
Move the moon to one side, which do you wish it possesses?
You by my deepest, up to the neck darkest phobia.
Yonder over there and your neck it is tearing off the skin.
Lines inbetween which are felt when you cry out and the tears.
Just last night when you felt what you saw.
And the footsteps you heard, it is what it is, and you never thought. Something from the rear and you walking it was heard.
And it is done again and again to the smile on your face.
And your face is right there and for who to see but me.
Because early it you does, to see it for the second time.
It is secured, firmly wrapped around and you think that it is difficult.
Are you troubled with your heart beats the heart underneeth you?
Your fear of your fear, of the shadow it plays in the darkness.
And in your cave and it dances in it comes in from the rear.
Of the eye it is felt suddenly, penatratingly quick much to quick.
To be felt.
Your fear of me of the darkness and this fear of the darkness and fear of the darkness being that of it, will it come to you soon for you.
Someones, fear of fixing and as for me, whom it always it possesses.
Where someone walked out the road,
and to I, of that of whom you it posses and your always afraid.
Not of me, it's your darness you fear, open your eyes and it sees.

I Will Walk With You

Cover your heart, put on your mask
Dance with me slowly, is all that I ask
What is the hardest, falling or not
Knowing just where to begin or start
I will walk, I will walk, with you
I will walk with you
Lay down beside me, tell me your dreams
The view from inside is not what it seems
But no one will hurt you, not like before
Your last thread of forgiveness wont reach the door, noooo
I will walk, I will walk, with you
I will walk with you
I will walk, I will walk, with you
I will walk with you
I will walk, I walk with you
Pull up the curtains
Watch the night fall
Who has the answers when nobody calls
Now rely on fury, blame the sun rise last
Cause I was in love with you, but I cant change the past
I will walk, I will walk with you
I will walk with you (with you)
I will walk, I will walk with you
I will walk with you

Contours

She invited her self into his dark
her out side wanting to absorb his inside part
his potential potential
his mysterious
cool heart
which she sensed needed nurturing.

She would enter his cave of cringing shyness
his cave of inarticulateness
bringing him to its mouth
showing him what light was.

She sensed that being
outside the cave
was an alien world to him;
she could be his guide
even as she partook
of his dark flesh
his dark longings
his darkened powers
which she sensed
wanted her
wanted to ravage her;
and she too
was curious about that
in him
excited by the fact that she controlled
it;
that it would not come out
until it was summoned by her
allowed by her;
plunging into her own dark
caressed by her own light.

She knew his need for her was
stronger
than her need
for him to have her
and so she gently,
Kissed His
Ironies,
toyed with her own
confidence
that
she would in the end
ravage him
in his need to ravage her;
that her enlightenment
was stronger
than the raw need to penetrate;
that she was correct in this
because it was balanced.

He understood this seemingly
saying:

'I want you more
than I can resist
that need in you
to transform
me.'

'This he said, 'will be the contours
of our relationship.
I understand.'

And he did

understand.
She
could then surrender
and she did;
he able to absorb her light's ability
to withstand his dark
she melding with him;
both moving toward
Twilight.

The First Tooth

There once was a wood, and a very thick wood,
So thick that to walk was as much as you could;
But a sunbeam got in, and the trees understood.

I went to this wood, at the end of the snows,
And as I was walking I saw a primrose;
Only one! Shall I show you the place where it grows?

There once was a house, and a very dark house,
As dark, I believe, as the hole of a mouse,
Or a tree in my wood, at the thick of the boughs.

I went to this house, and I searched it aright,
I opened the chambers, and I found a light;
Only one! Shall I show you this little lamp bright?

There once was a cave, and this very dark cave
One day took a gift from an incoming wave;
And I made up my mind to know what the sea gave.

I took a lit torch, I walked round the ness
When the water was lowest; and in a recess
In my cave was a jewel. Will nobody guess?

O there was a baby, he sat on my knee,
With a pearl in his mouth that was precious to me,
His little dark mouth like my cave of the sea!

I said to my heart, "And my jewel is bright!
He blooms like a primrose! He shines like a light!"
Put your hand in his mouth! Do you feel? He can bite!

A strong Bear, a poor cave

A quarrel took place,
Between a tight, narrow cave,
and a huge, black, hairy bear.
the poor cave was afraid of,
her narrowness,
the bear had no fear.

Actually, the bear was
in search of a cave,
where he could spent
his night merrily,
his mission was to hide himself,
by all means, fair or unfair.
The bear begged the shelter,
from the cave to get entered,
but cave denied.

she said, ' I am not wide.
if I take you in,
you may get me in trouble,
every thing mine get in disorder.
how can you stay in me quite?
seek other place to-night.'
The bear snored a loud,
as if, thunders of big cloud.
huge bear tried getting forcibly in,
smiled and said, 'I have to win.

O' poor cave, see my strong body,
look at my height!
I am quite black,
while you are white.
you are unaware of facts,
you are mine, my cave,
you are made for me.

I know, you think yourself too small,
If I enter, you will be torn,
and might get burst,
but it is nothing like this,
surrender yourself
before me silently.
or I will react violently.

the little cave said nothing,
but tried to scape herself,
with all her might.
thrusting the bear out.
Bear so huge, no doubt.
He tried utmost entering forcibly,
getting success a little bit.
until the cave burst,
the bear continued to hit.

At last, a hot bloody stream,
blew out of the cave.
It couldn't itself save.
It was torn and oozing sweat.
the huge bear was running,
in and out very smoothly,
Poor cave, in this struggle,
has become out.
the bear has come first, no doubt.

Walking through Myself

i walk through myself
the stripe glass ferns
that jut out like blades
cut me in so many ways
the cakes, the chickens,
the birds in the trees that chirp,
tinkle the piano of my heart
calming my fractured nerves
i walk through myself
the insects, crickets that shrill
echo my emptiness, the universe
i walk through myself
to discover that what i see
what all homo sapiens say i see
are not what i see
but a part of myself
logged in the world
what i see in the mirror
in the field, in the river, the sky
are myself unlimited
and the stars, the moons, the planets
far far away, they are in me
waiting to be explored
as i close my eye
a blackhole boundless as i am
i walk through myself
to find myself in the dark
looking at myself in the trees, the fish,
anything that i dont see
reveals another's existence
oh god, give me that dimension too
you are hiding from us
in the light, in the dark
right in front of our eyes
so many things we see
through your sights
teaching me about my own identity
this body a sensory bundle to see myself
the real me lying everywhere

Turn, and Walk Away

i gave you all the dreams i had
i gave you all i am
now the times are hard and bad
dreams have crumbled in the sand
you turn and walk away
you turn and walk away
you turn and walk away...

hungry eyes are distant now
you're lost inside yourself
you only feel what you allow
you've put me on the shelf
you turn and walk away
you turn and walk away
you turn and walk away...

autumn slowly turns to winter
as leaves fall from the trees
you're staring through the window
as your tears begin to freeze
you turn and walk away
you turn and walk away
you turn and walk away...

In Your Cave

in your cave
there is no sun
man-made
or superficial
or whatever

and so darkness
reigns
complete darkness
and when he mentions
about shadows
do not believe him

in your cave
there was complete
silence too
and so when he talked
about a dialogue
between two
speakers
do not ever believe him

in your cave
there was no life ever
and when he talked about
death
and numbness and indifference

that was then when i believed him
and i agreed
that indeed that man has his own name

Santa Claus Lane

I remeber last Christmas Eve
Something happened that I couldn't believe
I went for a walk as the snow came down
And when it stopped I was in a different town
And the sign said have no fear; your not lost your here!

Walk in this Christmas
Down santa claus lane
No need to wonder
No need to explain
Just have soime faith in what you see
Your right here where you wanna be
Walk in this Christmas
Down santa claus lane
Down Santa Claus Lane

Elves were standing in the street
Snow men and reindeer came out to greet
Silver bells chimed frim far away
As santa rode by on an open sleigh
And he told me have no fear
Your not lost

Shadows

The darkness holds many shadows
that tread softly in the night
and every stranger must beware
of those that lurk in shadows
with no good will to explore.
They stalk the innocent
whose hearts are warm and pure
extending what seems a friendly lure.
So stranger as you walk in peace
beware of where you tread
as those who would do you harm
lurk deep in the shadows
and crevices of your mind.
The demons that lay bare
your mortal thread
steal around in the shadows
where you tread.
Beware of the night dear stranger
and the shadows you walk through.
The darkness holds many dangers
as you walk your journey through.

A Walk on the Snow

It feels cold inside
when people cannot break the stillness
when human tongues revolve
around cars, TV and food
when the painful silence
is deep deep in the human heart.

I walk out of this coldness inside
away from the comforts and heating
installations in the house
away from the speed and heat of a car.

I simply walk on the field
looking at the vast space of emptiness
treading on the snow,
the snow that has
covered the grasses.

It gives me a deep sense of joy
that the walk to turn away
from coldness inside
becomes a walk with the Lord.
I walk with God on the snow.

Cars pass me by
Houses stand in the stillness
of their comforts.

I continue walking until
my exposed ears, hands and feet ache.
I walk with God on the snow
and I understand why people
fear the cold.

The Lord himself walks with me
on the snow and on the cold inside me
on the snow that covers the gound
on the snow that hurts and frightens.

But such a time of journeying
with God on the snow
becomes a cleansing and a healing
just as from the ground
the green will be reborn in spring.

It’s dark in here

While I am walking
inside a cave,
it's rather dark in here

I wonder how people
could have lived in this place
and in my mind’s eye
I see them gathering
around hot fires
with bright red and yellow flames
leaping into the air
and blown higher by the slight draft.

They must have fried
some of the antelope
sketched in yellow, red, brown
and black on the wall
and although the stalagmites
and stalactites on the floor
of the cave are rather beautiful
there’s a chill in the air.

Without light I cannot see
were to go
and in ancient times
bats must have nested
against the roof
and somehow people
made this dark place
their home
and still it’s dark in here.
