To the vast mega mind-mainframe
the one who mirrors all knows all
whether thoughts choice words or deeds
hearer recorded scribe witness of all
glory's ceiling of open gold cloud cover
infinite form of possibility waiting
to create itself into firm reality
love loving itself yearning to reconnect with itself
anything that brings another being positive joy
I just want to know the depths of your beauty
experience the fullness of your love
see all which brings you joy

what if Jesus came in a dark cloud,
and fell like tender mercy rain
on the mouths of the hungry...
no hint of thunder,
no flash of lightning!

and what if the prayers
of those same hungry
were the wind that brought the cloud....

A Love So Short Of Time

when we kiss
i close my eyes
and think
of you not as
forever

how i wish to have
immortality

no, the warmth
of your lips
does not last
a lifetime

no, the hold of
your arms
will be lost
in a minute

no, this ecstasy
will only be
for a second

i smell you
i feel you
running all over me
like a river
you cover all of me
like you are the sea
and the sky

for a while i am
lost in vast space
with me are
all the stars in
heaven

this kiss is over
i look at you
your face is all
flesh and cheekbone

there is no word

Human's Soul Never Freeze

In snow on a bench a poor man sat,
He was frozen, so cold it was,
He didn't have any shelter,
But shared the bench with a dog.

His mustache and eyebrows were coated with snow,
His legs were numb, looking the color blue,
Although it was so cold, he didn't wear his warm coat,
Feeling for the dog he used his warm coat to cover the dog.

That poor man gave his coat,
To save and protect the dog's life,
Not caring for his own health, in the freezing cold,
He offered warmth and care to a dog.

People found them and took them to the shelter,
Gave them food and warmth to treat,
One sure thing from this is certain,
That a human's soul never freeze.

Summer Rain Came Suddenly

Summer rain came suddenly
and you and she

had just got off the school bus
and had to run for shelter

and so entered the wood
and settled beneath some trees

which at least kept off
some of the rain

and as you both stood there
looking about the woodland

and listening to the rain
fighting its way through

the overhead branches and leaves
smelling the rain smell

hearing the sound
of rain falling

she said suddenly
That was unexpected

one minute the sun's shining
the next the downpour

and she turned
and looked at you

raindrops falling down
from her hair onto

the side of her nose
and sitting there

for a few moments
then sliding down

and moving along
her cheek

and you wiped
the drops off

with the end of your finger
and she took your finger

and mouthed it
and licked off the rain

and held your finger
in her hand

and said laughing
That was my raindropp

and you saw
how her lips parted

and in such a way
that you sensed

an inner explosion
of what you thought of

as love and said
Rain is rain

it's got its own smell
and touch

and feel
and she moved her lips

to your finger
and licked it once more

and you laughed
and felt your heart leap inside

and she said
releasing your finger

Love is love
something like rain

something you feel
and sense and know

and she kissed you and said
Mum' ll wonder where I am

we'd better go
and moving out

from beneath the trees
you ran off together

into the falling rain
all over again.

Every ship needs a port

Who Let In The Rain

Things like this
can always take a little time
I always thought
we'd be together down the line
we start to fight
and can't get over what was said
'cause you see black and white
and I see red

And I wonder who let in the rain

I'm not the same
when love gets strong
people get weak

Before we sleep

Before we sleep

Before we go to sleep
see how we have all we need
a roof overhead, shelter
enough food and water
to have lined our stomachs
so we wont be left wanting
we also have each other
and those we love close by
that we know they are well
eases the one true worry
we could ask for more money
to buy the material trappings
to keep up with the neighbours
knowing we don't need them
but they are still nice to have
tonight we will not miss them
for we have all we need
