State of Grace
The bachelor and the spinster
stood together, hand in hand,
before the Priest who’d wed them
in the chapel Kilmainham.
With two prison guards as witnesses
there in Kilmainham gaol,
Joseph Plunkett and Grace Clifford
wed at midnight goes the tale.
At dawn a firing squad awaited
her brave bold Fenian man.
She’d remember their one, stolen, kiss
and the ring placed on her hand.
Her Joseph chose a dark way home
when he tweaked the lion’s tail.
In martyrdom he found a way
to rouse the sons of Gael.
Some marriages last many years,
some, a shorter time-
but a love that lasts a lifetime
is truly hard to find.
Joseph, knowing what he was to lose
His love and fate embraced.
He died when bullets pierced his heart
while in a state of grace.

God’s Helping Hand
Let The Lord help you today, to find the path of His favored Way,
God’s Way unto abundant Life, the way above the grief and strife.
The helping hand of The Lord, will intervene when He’s implored,
As men seek God’s helping hand, in ways we cannot understand.
God’s helping hand, full of Grace, can help you any time or place,
When you truly desire to live for Him, in this world of darkened sin.
God wants to lead us in His Light, on a path that is pure and right,
So all men can come to know, that He’s a God who loves them so.
God’s hand above is lifted friend, for pending Judgment in the end,
Judgment that’s not destined for, all those men who love The Lord.

An UnavoidAble Fate
My name is taylor
13 today horay
but from that dream
i can not stray
got a letter today
from my dad
it got me so mad
it said not to look for him
so i left my brother and mother
and went to find him
i didn't know i had a stalker
who followed me town to town
he was quite not much of a talker
and then i died no lie
and i woke up screaming for my life
i pulled my self from the hollow box
who said being in a cofin rocks
and so i carried on
find my father i did
he taught me many new things
fire earth water wind
a gift this power brings
and when i went out
i found my killer
but from above i fell in love
there was a dark side to him
and when he he said he loved me
time stood still
i didnt realise he was my kill
when he went back to his roots
i followed silenlty 3 years past
and im home at last
i'am 16 now
and walking alone
i found
my brother kye he's 13 now
by acident of cource
and he knew who i was
filled with love for him
dropped my gaurd i did
and next thing i knew
my lover found me and my brother
he took kye away made him pay
used him as bait i was the fish
i faught him and almost killed me
but my heart took over
and he got the chance
we faught some more in a dance
and when i had no strengh
my brother cried help me sister
plz oh why and curled in to a ball
crying in pain and as
he emerged a new power he gained
he jump from the rock water in hand
shot my lover down on to the land
i told my brother to stop
and he looked at me sad
i pulled my lover up
and said he was bad
i told him i loved him
and sent him to a place
where he will find no love or grace
so me and my brother crawled back to dad
told him our wish and told him we were sad
he frowned and said.......

I am surely blessed, knowing…
that God's grace continues to flow;
for I'm sustained by His presence,
wherever I am or divinely go.
I refuse to be consumed by uncertainties;
for by His grace, all fears are relieved!
My faith will be evident within my life,
which started… when I first believed.
From promises of spiritual prosperity,
I thankfully in praise, raise my voice…

Libby Prison
Air -- "The Soldier's Orphan Boy"
Down south the Libby prison stood,
The rebel's filthy den;
Rebs in battle prisoners took --
Of course our union men.
And our brave boys, hearty and hale,
To prison had to go,
And few have lived to tell the tale
Of misery and woe.
This prison was a horrid place,
Many brave boys died there,
In rags and filth and wretchedness,
They died for want of care.
Many a brave and noble man,
As he lay sick and sore,
Was thinking of his friends and home
He never would see more.
Fathers, brothers, young husbands dear
Went through that prison door --
Some lived to return home, we hear,
And others are no more.
Many a noble soldier died
In Libby prison cell,
And comrades perish'd side by side,
As many a man can tell.
No loving hand was near a couch
To bathe an aching head --
No loving friend to watch the hours,
Or soothe their dying bed;
No friend to wipe the fallen tears
From off the dewy face --
No loving kindred was there near
To mark their resting place.

By His grace, we are wonderfully saved;
know that we shall live… beyond the grave.
Through Salvation's gift, our sins are waived
and upon His palms, our names are engraved.
Faith doesn't spring from human nature,
nor is it something that we can nurture.
In His efficacious grace, we can be sure -

Imelda's Fall
the rooms of the old house in olot
closed, the sound of the sea so deafening
her blind masseur still comes here often
perhaps reminiscing always the past,
the indonesian goddess by the gate is headless
another god of the sea lost his left hand
the ex-president comes here using the people's submarine
as she dances the night away with her fourteen ladies
the Sto Nino inside a man-made cave lost his right eye
on another corner, stands St. Joseph with only one hand
the grandeur is lost
this place
there is nothing spectacular now
except the contempt
of power and abuse of people's trust
power is temporary
a bad memory lasts for a lifetime
she has fallen out of grace
everything in her room is locked
dusty,
only the rats and the cockroaches
now applaud her greatness
all her friends are gone
we do not know this place now
we are only reminded
and they always say
that the past need not be repeated
the sun sets finally
the orange hues are gone
and what comes next is the total darkness
of this place
once great
now in utter ruin
then we decided to move on
to the next place of our tourist destination

The Stranger Song
Its true that all the men you knew were dealers
Who said they were through with dealing
Every time you gave them shelter
I know that kind of man
Its hard to hold the hand of anyone
Who is reaching for the sky just to surrender.
And then sweeping up the jokers that he left behind
You find he did not leave you very much
Not even laughter
Like any dealer he was watching for the card
That is so high and wild
Hell never need to deal another
He was just some joseph looking for a manger

To weaken with your love and warmth and shelter
