A casual glance, a gentle touch,
It stops at that, we know it must.
A chaste embrace, an offered cheek
which I dryly kiss and count it sweet.
Once we’d danced around a flame-
an older man, a willing maid.
Both comfortable in our own skin
In secret we began our sin.
I know your body like my wife’s
But she was elsewhere, I recall
Your husband, too, was on the road
When I, like Adam, had my fall.
We speak of nothings, jobs, careers,
Not of our existential fears.
Celebrity splits, Horrid crimes,
our incest ever on our minds.
We dance like moths about a flame
which never must be lit again.
It stops at this, we know it must
a casual glance, a gentle touch.

Why Do We Want What We Know We Cant Have
(don king, david woodward)
Some come for the music
Some for romance
You gotta be with the boy that brought you to the dance
Then across the room comes a casual glance
And you be making some dime even half the chance
Now some like to look
And some like to touch
All the things that they cant have
Way too much
Some like to get real close to the flame
Once you feel the heat
You know theyre never the same
Why do we want
What we know we cant have
Why dont we want
Whats in the palm of our hands
Why we always looking
At whats just out of our grasp
Why do we want
What we know we cant have
Well susie was out driving her new corvette
She hadnt made that second payment yet
She rear ended a semi
But not by choice
She was a rubbernecking a new rolls royce
Repeat chorus x2

(V – 2010) The Serenity of Solitude
At times lonely
When we go for a solitary walk
Down the silent valley of solitude:
As we whisper a casual word
It echoes back to us with a renewed energy!
That’s the serenity of solitude.
As we throw a casual glance
It captures for us a hitherto unseen beauty!
That’s the serenity of solitude.
As we touch a casual thought
It blooms before us as profound poetry!
That’s the serenity of solitude.
At times busy
Something entices us to take a solitary walk –
That’s the serenity of solitude!
Love Resurrection
I want to be just you and me
The music to play
To hide in a lonely place
To taste a bottle of red wine
To kiss you full of passion
Like there is no tomorrow
You are the sea, i am the wind
Touch you softly, touch you wildly
Your body dynamite alight
Your breath stops the time
Your kiss, frozen me, burning me
Your glance like magnet
We roll like the river, from bed
to walls, from tables to rugs
Like a piano melody our fingers
Touching wet body
Let it never end
Passion, eternity
To this room the death will come
And if tomorrow comes
Don't be afraid
It's a love resurrection

Your Tender Touch
Your tender touch on my brow
eases all my anguish and pain.
Your tender touch on my cheek
stops the tears that want to fall like rain.
Your tender touch upon my hand
reminds me of our gold wedding band.
We fell in love so long ago
to take one another through sickness and pain.
Now your tender touch reminds me
of our vows all over again.
Our love remains a constant joy
within our passing years.
Still your tender touch can heal
all my wanton fears.

Insensitive
How do you cool your lips
After a summer's kiss
How do you rid the sweat
After the body bliss
How do you turn your eyes
From the romantic glare
How do you block the sound of a voice
You'd know anywhere
[chorus]
Oh I really should have known
By the time you drove me home
By the vagueness in your eyes
Your casual good-byes
By the chill in your embrace
The expression on your face
That told me you might have some advice to give
On how to be insensitive
How do you numb your skin
After the warmest touch
How do you slow your blood
After the body rush
How do you free your soul
After you've found a friend
How do you teach your heart it's a crime
To fall in love again
Oh you probably won't remember me
It's probably ancient history
I'm one of the chosen few
Who went ahead and fell for you
I'm out of vogue

My Heart Stops
(diane warren)
(recorded by eric carmen)
Arista as1-2264 / 1992
I tell myself
This cant be love
That Im feelin
But if I think that my world
Will be the way that it was
Im dreamin
Why do I feel so high
At the mention of your name
Why do I act so shy
Cant explain, cant explain, cant explain
But darlin
Wo-wo-wo when you go walkin by
My heart stops
My heart stops
I cant explain it
Wo-wo-wo when you look in my eye
My heart stops
My heart stops
Every time youre near
Just thinkin about you
Darlin it just does
Something to me
And when we meet on the street
I feel the flame of love
Burnin through me
I try to play it cool
And never show a sign
But I give myself away
Every time, every time, every time
cause darlin
Wo-wo-wo when you go walkin by
My heart stops
My heart stops
I cant explain it
Wo-wo-wo when you look in my eye
My heart stops
My heart stops
Every time youre near
My heart stops, my heart stops
My heart stops, my heart stops
Oh, whenever youre close to me
Theres a wave of love rushin over me
And I never felt this way
Cant explain, cant explain, cant explain
But darlin
My darlin
Wo-wo-wo when you go walkin by
My heart stops
My heart stops
I cant explain it
Wo-wo-wo when you look in my eye
My heart stops
My heart stops
Every time youre near

Virginal Tears
My thoughts dance and waltz
With delicate and beautiful words
That seek secret and hidden poems
To ensnare her heart
In love’s joyful trap.
I ignite lustrous flames of desire
To touch her hair and kiss
Her tattooed shoulder
Beneath the moon’s hypnotic glance.
An orchestra plays
A poignant interlude
That sounds like a gentle stream
Of virginal tears.
In the room
Where the flowers wait
To greet us,
I’ll promise her
Everything will be new,
Such an exquisite romance as this
Has never existed before.

Would You Know?
Would you know the kind of maid
Sets my heart a flame-a?
Eyes must be downcast and staid,
Cheeks must flush for shame-a!
She may neither dance nor sing,
But, demure in everything,
Hang her head in modest way
With pouting lips that seem to say,
"Kiss me, kiss me, kiss me, kiss me,
Though I die of shame-a!"
Please you, that's the kind of maid
Sets my heart a flame-a!
When a maid is bold and gay
With a tongue goes clang-a,
Flaunting it in brave array,
Maiden may go hang-a!
Sunflower gay and hollyhock
Never shall my garden stock;
Mine the blushing rose of May,
With pouting lips that seem to say
"Oh, kiss me, kiss me, kiss me, kiss me,
Though I die for shame-a!"
Please you, that's the kind of maid
Sets my heart a flame-a!

Strange Bedfellows
The first night that they slept apart
-I think because he had a cough-
He grabbed his pillow from their bed
Mimed a kiss and then was off.
Their separation lingered on
like cancer growing in a womb
Days into weeks turned into years
each spouse in their separate room.
Anniversaries came apace
To the separate cells wherein they dwell
All marveled at “togetherness.”
None could glimpse their private hell
.
No kiss, no glance, no warm embrace
As would ward off a winter’s chills
No passionate heat or casual lust
Not that either needed pills
And then one day he failed to wake
Cool to her touch, she felt his arm
Detachedly she looked upon
Her love, long dead, now gone
She lay down on the bed once shared
And swallowed pills enough and more
To join her fellow in that sleep
They’d share together evermore.

Burning Love
'If you touch the flame you're gonna get burnt
And when you're deep in love, you'll wish you weren't.'
She's beautiful, she's oh so fine
And I really wish I could make her mine,
But the pain's too great and the tears begin,
I'd die for her, that's the mess I'm in.
I'd do anything to make her smile
And be in her good books just for a while.
Her gentle words both soothe and thrill
And the longing for her is just making me ill,
If I ever saw her go with another guy
My heart would break and I know I'd die.
You know that I want to be her slave
And I'd even follow her into the grave,
I'd do it all for less than a kiss,
Can you really believe it has come to this?
'If you touch the flame you're gonna get burnt
And when you're deep in love you'll wish you weren't.'

All That Love Asks
All that I ask, 'says Love, 'is just to stand
And gaze, unchided, deep in thy dear eyes;
For in their depths lies largest Paradise.
Yet, if perchance one pressure of thy hand
Be granted me, then joy I thought complete
Were still more sweet.
'All that I ask, ' says Love, 'all that I ask,
Is just thy hand clasp. Could I brush thy cheek
As zephyrs brush a rose leaf, words are weak
To tell the bliss in which my soul would bask.
There is no language but would desecrate
A joy so great.
'All that I ask, is just one tender touch
Of that soft cheek. Thy pulsing palm in mine,
Thy dark eyes lifted in a trust divine
And those curled lips that tempt me overmuch
Turned where I may not seize the supreme bliss
Of one mad kiss.
'All that I ask, ' says Love, 'of life, of death,
Or of high heaven itself, is just to stand,
Glance melting into glance, hand twined in hand,
The while I drink the nectar of thy breath,
In one sweet kiss, but one, of all thy store,
I ask no more.'
'All that I ask'-nay, self-deceiving Love,
Reverse thy phrase, so thus the words may fall,
In place of 'all I ask, ' say, 'I ask all, '
All that pertains to earth or soars above,
All that thou wert, art, will be, body, soul,
Love asks the whole.

All You Need
One sweet kiss that still does linger
on your lips, touched by a finger
is all you need to picture the face
of a lover that will linger.
One tender embrace you still can feel
on your body your arms entwine
is all you need to remember the one
that is your valentine.
One gentle smile you can picture still
in your mind or reverie
is all you need to recall the thrill
your lover gave to thee.
One soft touch that is felt by you
whenever you're alone
is all you need to keep you alive
'Til your lover comes back home.

Unknown Love
A kiss is just a kiss without meaning.
A touch does not exist, without feeling.
A look is just a look, a glance is just a glance without a smile.
What kind of love is this, if I can not hold you?
What kind of love is this, if I can not touch you?
What kind of love is trapped and in prisoned by a band of gold?
A deep desire for love can never be shown.
This love will never be known.

Tenderly
(nayan/christopher bednar)
Across the room you gave a glance
Your soft, sweet eyes put me in a trance
And since that day youve cherished me
So to my heart youll always hold the key
Tenderly, is the way to handle me
Oh so tenderly, how your touch can set me free
You baby, youre the only one
Its the little things youve given me
The time we spend so preciously
The special way you act when Im around
Your gentle kiss brings me up when Im down
Tenderly, is the way to handle me
Oh so tenderly, how your touch can set me free
You baby, youre the only one
When were all alone it feels so right
Making love to you all through the night
The softness in your touch it shows me how you care
I want you so much more with each day that we share
Tenderly, is the way to handle me
Oh so tenderly, how your touch can set me free
You baby, youre the only one
Tenderly, is the way to handle me
Oh so tenderly, only you can set me free
Baby, tenderly, is the way to handle me
You, baby, youre the only one

Kiss Kiss Kiss
Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss me, love,
Just one kiss, kiss will do.
Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss me, love,
Just one kiss, kiss will do.
Why death?
Why life?
Warm hearts?
Cold darts?
Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss me, love,
Im bleeding inside.
Its a long, long story to tell
And I can only show you my hell.
Touch, touch, touch, touch me, love,
Just one touch, touch will do.
Touch, touch, touch, touch me, love,
Just one touch, touch will do.
Why me?
Why you?
Broken mirror?
White terror?
Touch, touch, touch, touch me, love,
Im shaking inside.
Its that faint, faint sound of the childhood bell
Ringing in my soul.
Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss me, love,
Just one kiss, kiss will do.

Theres A Lull In My Life
(m. gordon, h. revel)
Oh...theres a lull in my life.
Its just a void, an empty space,
When you are not in my embrace.
Oh...theres a lull in my life.
The moment that you go away,
There is no night, there is no day.
The clock stops ticking,
The world stops turning.
Everything stops
But that flame in my heart
That keeps burning...burning...
Oh...theres a lull in my life.
No matter I may pretend,
I know that you alone can end
The ache in my heart,
The call of my arms...
The lull in my life.

A Souvenir
YES, lady! I can ne'er forget,
That once in other years we met;
Thy memory may perchance recall
A festal eve, a rose-wreathed hall,
Its tapers' blaze, its mirrors' glance,
Its melting song, its ringing glance;
Why, in thy dream of virgin joy,
Shouldst thou recall a pallid boy?
Thine eye had other forms to seek,
Why rest upon his bashful cheek?
With other tones thy heart was stirred,
Why waste on him a gentle word?
We parted, lady, all night long
Thine ear to thrill with dance and song,
And I to weep that I was born
A thing thou scarce wouldst deign to scorn.
And, lady! now that years have past,
My bark has reached the shore at last;
The gales that filled her ocean wing,
Have chilled and shrunk thy hasty spring,
And eye to eye, and brow to brow,
I stand before thy presence now;
Thy lip is smoothed, thy voice is sweet,
Thy warm hand offered when we meet.
Nay, lady! 't is not now for me
To droop the lid or bend the knee.
I seek thee, oh thou dost not shun;
I speak, thou listenest like a nun;
I ask thy smile, thy lip uncurls,
Too liberal of its flashing pearls ;
Thy tears, thy lashes sing again,
My Hebe turns to Magdalen !
O changing youth ! that evening hour
Looked down on ours, the bud the flower :
Thine faded in its virgin soil.
And mine was nursed in tears and toil;
Thy leaves were withering:, one by one,
While mine were opening to the sun.
Which now can meet the cold and storm,
With freshest leaf and hardiest form ?
Ay, lady ! that once haughty glance
Still wanders through the glittering dance,
She asks in vain from others' pride,
The charity thine own denied ;
And as thy fickle lips could learn
To smile and praise, that used to spurn,
So the last offering on thy shrine
Shall be this flattering lay of mine!

Note Of Love
With a simple touch comes with a crazy rush.
Every attraction comes with a sweet reaction.
I will need some medical attention because
Am over dose with your love.
Kiss me slowly, touch me gentle
Whisper to me how much you love me.
With this bright smile of yours, enlighten that outer glow to that brown eyes which u tease me with.....
Tease me with that sweet scent of diamond, make me dribble with these sexy victoria secrets which you wear....
Be my life guard because I need rescuering.
Brighten up my sunrise while unconditional love at the sunset.
I will forever be your torch if u continuing being my flame.
With kiss to your misses, to celebration to joy.
Am all out of words because words alone can't express it all.
So I will keep it simple and be mine forever......

This is Me
This is Me
By: Adam M. Snow
Caring heart;
a gentle smile;
love from the start;
no voice of guile;
this is who I am;
this is me.
I am gentle like a lamb;
this is who I choose to be.
Caring eyes;
a gentle touch;
no more cries;
for you mean so much.
This is me;
why cant you see?
My words are calm;
my love's your balm.
This is me;
whom you not know;
I show you mercy;
for you, my love I bestow.
I'm your guardian angel;
no need to be fearful.
Can't you see;
that this is me?
