They're drawing us in
By their subtle design,
Desiring to know

We wake every morning

We're booting up smartly

We think surfing's private,

That they're waiting to see
If we step out of line.
We buy our computers
(our joy and our pride)
Have we any idea
What goes on inside?
I know not one person
Who doesn't use Windows,
And I'm wondering seriously
Which way the wind blows.
These operating systems
Also known as O.S.es,
Could easily hide
Behind their fine dresses,
A data base used
By the old F.B.I.
To plot and to scheme,
To plan and to spy.
So, how to be sure
That our data is kept
Safe and secure
(though we be so inept) ?
For starters, don't fill in
That unrequired field,
This is your first-line defence
And your shield.
Their web-crawling spiders
Persist, night and day,
Searching for key-words
Amongst what we say;
And we've no-one to blame
If our business is pooled,
As we're easily conned,
Persuaded and fooled.
From all social networks
And innocent sites,
We give them the info'
And hand them the rights;
My answer is simple:
Don't be put on the spot;
Just mind your own business
And gossip ye not.

(Ambition Poem) Business In A Dream
Technology old.
Gets a shoulder so cold.
Rather then sharing it with those less fortunate then you.
Thrown away, melted down or melt scrapped.
What if I was their just be another market for such things.
Would you believe me?
A refurbished PC.
A idealogical dream.
A business to the likes of the use car sales man.
Cheaper because its outdated.
But still a free operating system can be found on which it will run.
I'm using a fifteen plus year old computer I built from the ground up just one year ago.
Yes parts have failed, but they also have been easily replaced.
I have shared these with both family and friends.
Yet still I see no trend, in place where all are trying to cut their budgets.
Energy efficient in one way maybe not.
But in another it eliminates all that unfortunate waste.
Will the people ever have a taste for something such as this.
I wish somebody would make requests.
I have only one friend who wants one.
And I also wish I could acquire more that would otherwise be thrown away.
Oh will this love of mine lead me anywhere?
A new field which doesn't truly exist.
Oh how I wish.
This is but another business in a dream.

Gay menace
Gay menace
Legal battle for gay rights is over
Judiciary has granted legal cover
It may be long drawn battle with some result
They have been spared from agony and social insult
“Constitution upholds the rights enshrined in constitution”
Everybody must hold the respect for noble institution
Gays can live under the roof with mutual consent
Any individual or society has no right to resent
May be judiciary has accepted broad angle
They were hated all over and almost pushed to the jungles
It was fine with the system if they observed niceties
They can stay as couples with consent in societies
I was visibly moved by sweet words from the friend on line
He seemed to be gentleman and always acted very fine
He may come on line politely and ask for my health
He was only interested in my well being and not wealth
I could not understand his move and act
How person to person can differently react?
How all of sudden he showed interest on my face?
All praise for me and sudden invitation for the body race
I brushed him aside and cautioned him to be watchful
He insisted upon so much and promised to be faithful
I was little stunned and could not hide amusement
I became suspicious for other’s friends movement

I refuse to be drawn in their words game
They consider others to be for them and same
It was not unusual for them and had no shame
How could I have pre-opinion and charges frame?
One friend openly asked why I had strong reservation
What was wrong when he had right for observation?
I had no answer for it but could not share his opinion
They may find the answer within their circle or union
You won’t know who can put you in embarrassment?
Uneasy questions and or with suspicious movement
It may be their world to live with and move freely
It was not finding any way with me subsequently
Attraction for opposite sex can easily be understood
It can be any thing such as lust, desire and will act as food
What can be indication from same sex as natural one?
I simply laughed it out as bad dream and cared for none
Still I find requests in box to be friendly with them
I can’t hold their rights as individual one and frame
It should not be practiced in open as merely right

In This Information Age
In this information age with data everywhere
And mobile phones and wireless sending signals through the air
Its so easy to believe that what we know is what's retrieved
From endless browsing searches and data base machines
Yet there seems just one thing missing - as with facts we're overwhelmed
Its that things have far more meaning when we find them for ourselves
We rely on received wisdom - become experts over night
And take things at face value - rarely checking if they're right
We find communities of interest reinforcing our own views
And confuse uninformed opionion with the facts behind the news
We are also gossip junkies - knowing who has slept with whom
And we do this in the comfort of our lonely living rooms
We make friends we won't cast eyes on and we know most everything
Save the joy of conversation and our own imaginings.
