The Pupil In Magic
I AM now,--what joy to hear it!--
Of the old magician rid;
And henceforth shall ev'ry spirit
Do whate'er by me is bid;
I have watch'd with rigour
All he used to do,
And will now with vigour
Work my wonders too.
Wander, wander
Onward lightly,
So that rightly
Flow the torrent,
And with teeming waters yonder
In the bath discharge its current!
And now come, thou well-worn broom,
And thy wretched form bestir;
Thou hast ever served as groom,
So fulfil my pleasure, sir!
On two legs now stand,
With a head on top;
Waterpail in hand,
Haste, and do not stop!
Wander, wander
Onward lightly,
So that rightly
Flow the torrent,
And with teeming waters yonder
In the bath discharge its current!
See! he's running to the shore,
And has now attain'd the pool,
And with lightning speed once more
Comes here, with his bucket full!
Back he then repairs;
See how swells the tide!
How each pail he bears
Straightway is supplied!
Stop, for, lo!
All the measure
Of thy treasure
Now is right!--
Ah, I see it! woe, oh woe!
I forget the word of might.
Ah, the word whose sound can straight
Make him what he was before!
Ah, he runs with nimble gait!
Would thou wert a broom once more!
Streams renew'd for ever
Quickly bringeth he;
River after river
Rusheth on poor me!
Now no longer
Can I bear him;
I will snare him,
Knavish sprite!
Ah, my terror waxes stronger!
What a look! what fearful sight
Oh, thou villain child of hell!
Shall the house through thee be drown'd
Floods I see that wildly swell,
O'er the threshold gaining ground.
Wilt thou not obey,
Oh, thou broom accurs'd?
Be thou still I pray,
As thou wert at first!
Will enough
Never please thee?
I will seize thee,
Hold thee fast,
And thy nimble wood so tough,
With my sharp axe split at last.
See, once more he hastens back!
Now, oh Cobold, thou shalt catch it!
I will rush upon his track;
Crashing on him falls my hatchet.
Bravely done, indeed!
See, he's cleft in twain!
Now from care I'm freed,
And can breathe again.
Woe, oh woe!
Both the parts,
Quick as darts,
Stand on end,
Servants of my dreaded foe!
Oh, ye gods protection send!
And they run! and wetter still
Grow the steps and grows the hail.
Lord and master hear me call!
Ever seems the flood to fill,
Ah, he's coming! see,
Great is my dismay!
Spirits raised by me
Vainly would I lay!
"To the side
Of the room
Hasten, broom,
As of old!
Spirits I have ne'er untied
Save to act as they are told."

Power Of Vigour
Vigour
If
Triggered
With forces
Of rigour
Path
One traverses
Can't be figured
Friends and foes
Quiver
On seeing him
Achieve
Hither and thither
Hither and thither
Rally some
Others
In abundance
Dither
To break the shell
Of their vigour
Envy his life of riley
Silently
For this oblivion
Into history
Where they can't be figured.

If our children fear we run to magician, magician, magician
If our children fear we run to magician, magician, magician
The magician reads the mantra and gives us magical thread to tie,
We have no true faith in GOD but in the magician only,
Cheated by the magician we lose our faith and money and die,
Name of GOD is stronger than crores of ghosts and magicians,
If we always remember GOD any fear of us will be run away,
In any situation let us deeply think of GOD only,
No doubt GOD will surely help us in any way,
One who has faith in magician will lose his all devotions,
So we should not change our mind about GOD in any condition,
And let us have strong faith in GOD and HIS creations,
Otherwise we will suffer life long in suspicious intention,
In any pressure we must not believe in magical traditions,
If we trust in our beloved GOD we definitely get our real salvation.

The Magician's Magic
The magician's magic.
Is the magic for you.
He can pull a rabit, out of his hat.
He can trick you with this.
Or he can trick you with that.
A bag of tricks, from the magician to you.
A bag of tricks, a magician can do.
He can pull a rabit, out of his hat.
He can trick you wth this.
Or he can trick you with that.
The magician's magic.
Is the magic for you.
The magician's magic.
Is his magic show.
He can saw a lady in half.
He can split her in two.
He can trick you with this.
Or he can trick you with that.
These are some things, a magician can do.
A bag of tricks, from the magician to you.
The magician's magic.
Is the magic for you.
The magician's magic.
Is his magic show.
He can pull a rabit, out of his hat.
He can saw a lady in half.
Then he ca split her in two.
He can trick you with this.
Or he can trick you with that.
The magician's magic.
Is the magic for you.
The magician's magic.
Is his magic show.
These are some things, a magician can do.
A bag of tricks, from the magician to you.
These are some things, a magician can do.
A bag of tricks, from the magician to you..

Loving You Is A Commitment
as you watch TV
I compose another poem
i think about you
as you watch that segment
of a magician turning doves
into air manipulating flowers
to become fragile butterflies
it's the magician that amazes
you to no end
at night before you sleep
you like to mention
those butterflies
tonight i write about a butterfly
turning into a woman
wanting to stay on my hair
i do not like magicians
the magic is dead
but even if you like magic still
i won't tell you what i feel
loving you is a promise
that i will fulfill
perhaps i must start believing
in magic
or else everything becomes
a matter of a
contractual obligation
a matter of loan with a mortgage
as security
where feelings
become irrelevant.

Magician
Magician Magician take me upon your wings
and ... gently roll the clouds away
I'm sorry so sorry I have no incantations
only words to help sweep me away
I want some magic to sweep me away
I want some magic to sweep me away
I want to count to five
turn around and find myself gone
Fly through the storm
and wake up in the calm
Release me from the body
from this bulk that moves beside me
Let me leave this body far away
I'm sick of looking at me
I hate this painful body
that disease has slowly worm away
Magician take my spirit
inside I'm young and vital
Inside I'm alive please take me away
So many things to do - it's too early
For my life to be ending
For this body to simply rot away
I want some magic to keep me alive
I want a miracle ... I don't want to die
I'm afraid that if I go to sleep I'll never wake
I'll no longer exist
I'll close my eyes and disappear
and float into the mist
Somebody ... please hear me
my hand can't hold a cup of coffee
My fingers are weak - things just fall away
Inside I'm young and pretty
Too many things unfinished
My very breath taken away
Doctor you're no magician - and I am no believer
I need more than faith ... can give me now
I want to believe in miracles - not just belief in numbers
I need some magic to take me away
I want some magic to sweep me away
Visit on this starlit night
replace the stars the moon the light - the sun's gone
Fly me through this storm
and wake up in the calm ...
I fly right through this storm
and ... I ... Wake ... Up ... In ... The ... Calm

Love Thyself Last
Love thyself last. Look near, behold thy duty
To those who walk beside thee down life’s road;
Make glad their days by little acts of beauty,
And help them bear the burden of earth’s load.
Love thyself last. Look far and find the stranger,
Who staggers ‘neath his sin and his despair;
Go lend a hand, and lead him out of danger,
To heights where he may see the world is fair.
Love thyself last. The vastnesses above thee
Are filled with Spirit Forces, strong and pure.
And fervently, these faithful friends shall love thee:
Keep thou thy watch o’er others, and endure.
Love thyself last; and oh, such joy shall thrill thee,
As never yet to selfish souls was given.
Whate’er thy lot, a perfect peace will fill thee,
And earth shall seem the ante-room of Heaven.
Love thyself last, and thou shall grow in spirit
To see, to hear, to know, and understand.
The message of the stars, lo, thou shall hear it,
And all God’s joys shall be at thy command.

Songs In The Masque Of Alfred: To Alfred
First Spirit.
Hear, Alfred, father of the state,
Thy genius Heaven's high will declare!
What proves the hero truly great,
Is never, never to despair:
Is never to despair.
Second Spirit.
Thy hope awake, thy heart expand,
With all its vigour, all its fires.
Arise! and save a sinking land!
Thy country calls, and heaven inspires.
Both Spirits.
Earth calls, and Heaven inspires.

Work, Sleep, Work, Sleep, Work
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work:
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work.
Oh free me please with gentle ease
From work, sleep, work, sleep, work!
This odium, pounding tedium
Of my work, sleep, work, sleep, work.
Just whisk me off to lands afar
From work, sleep, work, sleep, work -
That grinding train of rhythmic pain
Called ‘Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.’
Poor neural circuits fizzle and pop
In work, sleep, work, sleep, work,
In trying to make some sense of all this
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.
But Hark! I see a golden gleam -
A saving spirit of hope:
‘You’re fired! ’ He screams. What news to bear,
This wondrous hangman’s rope!
So now I’m free, released from all this
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work -
Eternal peace and rest for me, no
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.

As a break, more to come back

Winter Loom weaves a sad cloth?
[Whate'er the theme, the Maiden sang
As if her song could have no ending;
I saw her singing at her work.]-The Solitary Reaper by William Wordsworth
In this winter gloomy morning
I see your sad face like in a dream
and the silent whisper of an old poem
I could hear at the threshold.
'Is this a morning or a night
I cannot see you or touch
and hear too friend.
Am I alive or dead? '

Spirit
I can see my destination
I can hear my call
No more hesitation, mmm
This time I'm goin' for all
'Cause I know where this road leads to
And therefore I will rise
I know this dream will come true, mmm
And I will soar the sky
(Spirit, spirit)
Would you guide me? Oh
(Spirit) oh (spirit)
Stand by me
Come on, Come on, Come on
Set me free
I can feel the penetration
Of a strong wind movin' me, mmm
I feel can the elevation, mmm
Of an angel lifting me, mmm
'Cause I know where this road leads to
Therefore I will rise
I know this dream will come true, oh
And I will soar the sky
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Would you guide me? Ohh
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Standin' by me
Come on, Come on, Come on
Set me free
(Oh spirit)
Now that I've found my way home
I've got to get there, get there (get there)
Though one step seems one mile long
Your bridge before my face (your bridge before my face)
I will take the leap of faith (I will take the leap of faith)
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Would you guide me? Oh
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Stand by me, oh
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Set me free...
(Spirit) spirit (spirit) spirit
Spirit, set me free
(Spirit) help me find my way (spirit) stand by my side
Spirit take my hand and be my guide
(Spirit) run free (spirit) run free
Run free, run free
(Spirit) run free (spirit) run free...

I Hear 2
I hear that you met someone special to you
I hope that it works out
I hear that you are getting married right after high school
May the stars watch over you my dear friend
I hear that you got pregnant
May the world give them every thing they ever want.
I hear you just celebrated your 5 years anniversary
Grand grads!
I hear that your son just got into U of M
You raised him right.
I hear that you just found out you have cancer
I'm sorry my old friend. May god watch over you.
I hear you are to die at age 70
I will always be here for you. And I love you my dear old friend

Father, son, spirit
The father conceives his son
the son grows with his father
the spirit allows the heritage
Father, son, spirit. The father says sweet things to his son
the son is a rosebud to his father
the spirit remembers the instant of conception
Spirit, father, son. The father works, gladly
the son at school, learns much
the spirit, lovingly, joins them
Son, father, spirit The son makes his father, a good father
the union of father and son,
is the work of the spirit of love
Spirit, son, father.

The Eternal Trinity
God, The Holy Spirit and The Son as The Godhead are three in one.
As The Spirit hovered over darkness, God and Christ created Bliss.
And God filled His new creation with ample creatures and vegetation.
Then God placed man in a special lineage and created man in His image.
But that paradise God would make was spoiled by that ancient snake.
So Eternal God who created all had to then redeem man from his fall.
The Word of God speaks to men, through the power of The Holy Spirit.
But since all men are condemned most of them don’t want to hear it.
The sin created by the fall lead God to use Moses to point out The Law.
Man is not saved by The Law but is accountable and destined to fall.
But Moses pointed to a one like him who would save man from his sin.
And The Holy union of three, work together as The Eternal Trinity.
God The Father and The Eternal One, sent to the world His Only Son.
For God as a spirit who can not die, gave Christ a body for you and I.
His body was to be a sacrifice so that men could have Eternal Life.
Today men lead by The Spirit preach this Truth to all who will hear it.
Christ died and He rose again, for He is The Beginning and The End.
The Holy Spirit present at creation hovers today over every nation.
Christ sent The Spirit to live in men, who through Him are born again.
God The Father, He was pleased, to bruise His Son for you and me.
For God The Son rose again, and Christ reigns today above all men.
While God The Spirit intercedes for redeemed sinners like you and me.
It is through The Eternal Trinity that all men can live for Eternity.
And all men who are willing to hear it are saved by The Holy Spirit.

Purer Soul
My mind was pure when I was nothing,
The house of my soul carried everything;
And so selflessness extracted a meaning,
And so doubt never entered the spirit;
For we are soldiers and slaves of a lead pencil,
Inscribing the livid words of rigour,
The regimentation is special now,
The hearts are inculcated with pride.
This mirror called the heart is housing my soul
Like the other hearts of such loving moments.
This mind is feeling purer than the other spirit,
These minds are engaged in conversation
That is promised, that believes in holiness.

Abra-cadabra
Here's a million dollars.
Do it again.
'Abra-cadabra.'
Again.
He re's two million dollars.
Do it again. Do it again.
'Abra-cadabra.'
Here.
Take the keys to my Mercedes.
Here's the deed to my mansion.
Do it again.
Please!
'Abra-cadabra.
I keep telling you...
It's not going to work.
I'm just a magician.
I can't change you from being the idiot you are.'
Please!
I beg of you...
Just one more time.
Here. Here...
Take my Rolex.
'Abra-cadabra.'
Here...
T ake my LIFE.
I can't stand this any longer.
'Are you kidding?
I've got my eyes on that yacht.
We can try one more time!
And why would I want to take your life?
If you find it worthless...
What am I going to do with it? '
You're not really a magician.
Are you?
'No!
But neither am I an idiot.
Comeon...
Let's try this one more time.
Abra-cadabre.'

‘O Holy Spirit’ Prayer
O Holy Spirit, dwell in me,
And drive away the evil ones,
So that I’m freed from temptations,
And concentrate on work for God.
O Holy Spirit, be my guide,
All through my earthly life till death,
And fill my soul with grace enough,
That I don’t veer from righteousness.
O Holy Spirit, protect me,
From foes that plan my destruction,
And block my progress, here on earth,
And make my mind crestfallen fast.
O Holy Spirit, watch o’er me,
All night and day and when I’m ill,
And make my heart and mind steadfast,
So that, I tread the road to God.
O Holy Spirit, inspire me
To follow conscience without fail,
In matters that can confuse minds,
Despite my knowledge and wisdom.
O Holy Spirit, be with me,
Consoling when grief springs surprise,
And when my mind is much disturbed,
And drives me to sin’s ravines deep.
O Holy Spirit, be my strength,
In everything I do for God,
And earn my heaven, while on earth,
And fetch more souls for God’s abode.
