Rome Must Be Destroyed

A handful of dirt tossed in the air
tells us nothing,
tells us everything.
Microbes grown from next to nothing
into a monumental mind,
the planet become a useless buzzing head
spinning itself a billion lies,
we orbit the sacred self,
a web of morons.

At Zama did Scipio commit us?
Or did Cicero light the fuse with a word?

- like the dust in the air
our little eternity
turns on the whim of the wind

Every Face Tells A Story

Look at the man in the corner, hes sitting all alone
His blankets are made out of cardboard,
His pillows are made out of stone
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
See the man walking on the water, see the light in his eyes
He came into the world with a message to tell,
He came into the world to die
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Youre always telling stories, youre always telling me lies
Youre always telling stories, why?
So think of yourself in the water, seeing your days flashing by
Its too late to see what you wanted to be,
Youve spent all your time, you must die
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Step down
And make it work out right
Im trying to get to you with my warning
Been there
For nearly half the night
Look its nearly four in the morning

Morons

We were morons from the day we were born
We believed every word that you said - boy were we wrong
We're all fat now - on the sofas - mini morons - taking over
Cos we're older now, older now, older now, older now
We were morons - red, white and blue
We were working class kids on the skids - with nothing to do
We're all dead now - in our boxes - holding on to what little we go left
Cos it's over now, over now, over now, over now
Read moron newspapers, watch moron television
All laid on by slimy little, sleazy little, phony little morons
Etonians, Harrovians, think they're the chosen ones
And they poke fun at scruffy little, spotty little, stupid little morons
Ha ha ha ha, look at those morons
Ha ha ha ha, they do nothing but whine
And they're slow all the time
Look at those morons, never mind, never mind, never mind, never mind, never mind, never mind, never mind
We can leave them behind, while we're dumbing them down, we'll be robbing them blind
Ah Ah, morons don't matter at all.
No education, no informatioon
Morons are boring, ugly and small
They lower the tone, lets get rid of them all
Will to learn - gone away
Force fed garbage every day
We're the slaves of smarmy little, self important, petty little morons
Oxford - Cambridge - see how the other half live
Steer well clear of lazy little, filthy little, funny little morons
Ha ha ha ha, look at those morons
Ha ha ha ha, they're such terrible types
And they're not very bright - look at those morons
It's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right

Eternity Rain

Let this rain wash me
Let it wash my virtual sins
Clean my sorrow from the sins of my fathers
Clean my self form this dirt call life
From the false tells of creation
And clean my mind from the empty words of priest
From the dirty political speech
Let this holy rain clean my sorrow form the sin of love
Sin of being the truthful in this life
I want to clean my mind from the thought control
Clean my head form my mum fairy lies
It need the eternity to clean out my soul and my life from this life dirt
To be clean again i need eternity rain

Sonnet: My Inner Voice

When mind tells me, ’I am punished enough,
And it were better I followed the world, ’
My inner voice cries, ‘Patience, tho’ ’tis tough’.
This extra-suffering makes my heart cold.

When mind tells me, ‘I must avenge my foes,
Who made me suffer without a reason, ’
My inner voice cries, ‘Patience, forget woes.’
God will teach them in His own way lesson.

When mind tells me, ‘Tis time, be worldly-wise, ’
My woes are mainly due to poverty;
My inner voice cries, ‘Patience, Be soul-wise! ’
That’s the way you earn your Eternity!

When mind tells me, ‘Your mind and body’s weak! ’
My inner voice cries, ‘Patience, God will speak! ’

Bad For Good

BAD FOR GOOD
Music: Rudolf Schenker
Lyrics: Klaus Meine, Dieter Dierks
Bad for good
She tells it like it is
The french word of a kiss
She's so bad for good to me
She's so bad for good
She wants more of this
You can feel it with a kiss
She's as bad as she can be
The thoughts in my head
Where would they be going ?
Seems to me
It's a tough call for one to imagine
They're saying they do when I win
I look in the mirror
Reflect from the ceiling
She wears next to nothin
Next to nothin but only
A touch of perfume on her skin, oh yeeeaaaahhhhh
She's so bad for good
She tells it like it is
The french word of a kiss
She's so bad for good to me
She's so bad for good
She wants more of this
You can feel it with a kiss
She's as bad as she can be
She's so bad for good
She tells it like it is
The french word of a kiss
She's so bad for good to me
She's so bad for good
She wants more of this
You can feel it with a kiss
She's as bad as she can be
If those were my fingers
What would they be doing
Is pouring along
From head to toe like a stranger
To be once again lost and found...yeeeaaaahhhhh
She's so bad for good
She tells it like it is
The french word of a kiss
She's so bad for good to me
She's so bad for good
She wants more of this
You can feel it with a kiss
She's as bad as she can be
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
Bad for good

The Sick Wind Moans, Moans The Sick Wind

The sick wind moans, moans the sick wind
There mystery lies in its every moan:
It tells all and nothing yet it tells
How careful hides it the secret in its breast.

The old oak hears the sick wind
And hearing it understands its own
And weeps the old oak without a cry.

Handful Of Dust

Your pressed your face against my heart
I felt that you could look right through me
We live in days that have no time
We live in times that now refuse me
And somewhere out beyond his town
There lies a world that now can turn us round
And we need it and we need it
Oh got to have some thing to believe in
Ive got enough to believe in you
What can I give just to know that its true ?
But Ive gotta begin to say
Now theyve taken my pride in this way.
How can you give me your love ?
I just cant give you enough
How can you give me your trust
With a handful of dust ?
I feel to thin before your eyes
I feel so naked under open skies
I once stood tall within this town
But now the time has come to bring us down.
We must have more with his power in hand
We must believe things will go as we planned
But Ive gotta begin to say
Now theyve taken my pride in this way.
How can you give me your love ?
I just cant give you enough
How can you give me your trust
With a handful of dust,
With a handful of dust ?
Making love through electric skies
Now I know where my fortune lies
Breathe the air and feel this land
cause its slipping through me
Like dust from my hand.
How can you give me your love ?
I just cant give you enough
How can you give me your trust
With a handful of dust ?
How can you give me your love ?
I just cant give you enough
How can you give me your trust
With a handful of dust ?
How can you give me your love ?
How can you give me your love ?
Now give me your love!
How can you give me your trust
With a handful of dust ?
How can you give me your love ?
Give me
How can you give me your trust
With a handful of dust ?

Sacred Ground

The slow night air
Eases across my body
Laying so simple upon the lonesome praire
Under the western stars-
It brings the smell
And feel
Of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years;
The ancient dirt, made
Of long gone Bison manure,
The dryness of wind blown dust, made
Sacred by the bones of long forgotten Native Americans-
The depth of the dark
Can only be measured here
By the dim light of those
Distant fire balls, and by
The just out of reach Lightning Bugs
(like a spirit in the sky both are untouchable) .
I lay prone, and very still
Barely breathing
Not a sound dare I make,
For truly I tell you:
This is indeed
Sacred Ground.
Blessed from
Eternity to Eternity.

Flyng At Night

five billion years away
a planet turns,
turning a million years
this side of the planet
and my heart beats
each beats
a million years
the other side of another planet
the distance that shortens
the years
as we watch a foreign body
five billion years away
a billion years passed
a universe caught in time
an eagle flaps its wing
each flag
a million years pass
that side of the planet
time is where you are
it walks away from you
as you walk away from it

inspired by

Flying at Night
Above us, stars. Beneath us, constellations.
Five billion miles away, a galaxy dies
like a snowflake falling on water. Below us,
some farmer, feeling the chill of that distant death,
snaps on his yard light, drawing his sheds and barn
back into the little system of his care.
All night, the cities, like shimmering novas,
tug with bright streets at lonely lights like his.

No Adequate Explanation

I have no adequate explanation-
I just know-because my heart tells me!
As though in a state of suspended animation,
I wait, and shall, because my heart tells me! !

They say there is a mate for each-
I say mine is you, because I feel it in my soul!
No sacrifice is too much, which leads me within your reach-
I know-because I feel it in my heart, which you stole!

I have no doubts, we are a Divine truth-
You know-because your heart tells you so;
I just believe, I need no form of proof-
You believe-because your heart tells you so!

I know it is but a matter of where, when or how-
Yet, because my mind tells me so, I wish it were now!

Never Again

Ill miss your naked body
Ill miss your mind
Human beings learn to miss
The things they leave behind
Another romance broken
Its time to go
Too late to contradict
What we already know
Closed my eyes
To the truth
And the lies
Never again
Wont ask why
Dont reply
Ill just say
Never again
Time tells
Your heart compels
Never again
Never take a chance
Again
Time tells
Your heart compels
Never again
Never break a heart again
Never again never again
But until then
Never again never again
Never again
Never again never again
Never again never again
I know I couldnt keep you
I know the score
I know Im surplus
To the life youre looking for
though nothing lasts forever
Still hope remains
We never go back to
The way we were before
From now on
To the end
Wont pretend
Say it again
Wont commit
Wont submit
til I know
Never again
Woman
Runaway woman,
Never again
Woman
Oh my woman,
Woman
Runaway woman,
Never again
Woman
Oh my woman,
Never again
Never break a heart again
Time tells
Woman
Your heart compels
Runaway woman,
Never again
Woman
Oh my woman,
Never take a chance
Again
Time tells
Woman
Your heart compels
Runaway woman,
Never again
Woman
Oh my woman,
Never break a heart again
Never again never again
But until then
Never again never again
Never again
Never again
Never again never again
Never again never again

Mr. Green

Green leaves tell you
How green your mind is,
Wide boroughs tell you
How broad your mind is,
Velvet grasses tell you
How soft your hair is,
Clean water ponds tell you
How your tears are,
White clouds tell you
How your floating thoughts are,
Birds in group tell you
How you enjoy friend’s company,
Peacock tells you
How you dance in rain,
Lion tells you
How to react with pride,
Deer tells you
How you enjoy your freedom,
And environment tells you
How you can become Mr. Green.

One Word

[Verse 1:]
One word breaks the code of silence
Silence tells me all I need to know
One Word
One Word, tells me everything I need to know
One word driven in to madness
Madness driven by the depths below
One Word
One Word, tells me everything I need to know
[Chorus:]
It's not the way that I want it
It's just the way that I need it
Day after day
It's not the way that I want it
It's just the way that I need it
Day after day
[Verse 2:]
One lie tells a thousand stories
The greatest stories that were ever told
One Lie
One Lie, tells the greatest stories ever told
One man can predict the future
a future journey in to outer space
One Man
One Man, a future journey in to outer space
[Chorus 2x:]
It's not the way that I want it
It's just the way that I need it
Day after day
It's not the way that I want it
It's just the way that I need it
Day after day
(French Talking)
[Chorus 2x:]
It's not the way that I want it
It's just the way that I need it
Day after day
It's not the way that I want it
It's just the way that I need it
Day after day

A Hint At What Is Beautiful

poetry in progress

the mouth is the living soul
in an eden of ivory towers
the heart the seat of God
there the rules are laid out
the tongue is the spineless
that can morph into a devil
at the convenience of the dweller

a heart tells no lies
it is the seat of God
and there is the beauty of
beauties, purest of spirit
a chalice filled to the brim
with answers to a million
years of yearnings, for all
the years with an equal number
of ungalvanised answers
if you care to search for its
sacred hints at what is beauty

beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
and the heart tells no lies
it is the mouth that in all its
clean ivory innocence may morph
into a snake in its own eden

the heart tells no lies
it speaks as soon to its owner
of any intransigence so that he goes
to sleep heavy like adam after his fall,
poorer in the soul and tears brimming all over

A Primer of the Daily Round

A peels an apple, while B kneels to God,
C telephones to D, who has a hand
On E’s knee, F coughs, G turns up the sod
For H’s grave, I do not understand
But J is bringing one clay pigeon down
While K brings down a nightstick on L’s head,
And M takes mustard, N drives to town,
O goes to bed with P, and Q drops dead,
R lies to S, but happens to be heard
By T, who tells U not to fire V
For having to give W the word
That X is now deceiving Y with Z,
Who happens, just now to remember A
Peeling an apple somewhere far away.

Christmas 2010

Christmas is the time that tells
That God was born a baby boy;
And He was called ‘Emmanuel’
(‘God with us’) , and brought us joy!

Christmas is the time that tells
That love of God was born on earth,
Becoming flesh in virgin’s womb,
Proclaiming the ‘King of Kings’ birth!

Christmas is the time that tells
That Word that was God became man,
And dwelt amongst us for some years,
And suffer in all ways, He can.

Christmas is the time that tells
That peace returned to heart and soul,
And brought back hope to sinners too,
Who aim toward a heavenly goal.

Christmas is the time that tells
That prophecy of birth of Christ
In Scriptures came to be fulfilled,
As angel choirs sang in Highest.

Christmas is the time that tells
That God chose poverty at birth,
To know how tough life on earth is,
And showed how woes can become mirth.

Christmas is the time that tells
That Christ was born to save mankind
From sins of present, future, past,
And peace came back to heart and mind.

The Value of Rubies

Virtuous woman
Valued beyond rubies
Till time and wear
and truth and tear
steals the light

Better for value are you
women of ill repute
in dimly lit
alleys and taverns
Who, when paid:
Tells you they love you
When you know they don't
Tells you to trust them
When you know you can't
Tells you this matters
When you know it doesn't
Though who tells you
they stay
by the hour
till time is up
and do
and you sit in bed
smoking
watching
her ass
as she leaves
Glowing ember
turning to ashes
flickers, fails
and finally
dies.
